Blackrock is a small village, but has all the basic amenities as well as some lovely cafes and restaurants. It is situated on the coast and when the tide is out you can walk in either direction. If you jog, the strand is also where you will see a lot of people jogging. The next village Monkstown is also lovely with more cafes and restaurants. The town following Monkstown is Dun Laoghaire where there is a cinema a few shopping centres and also a pier which is lovely to walk especially on a summer evening. Town is only 10 to 15 minutes away by public transport. You can also take the train southwards to Killiney where you can walk along a lovely stone beach or to Dalkey, a lovely village and a short walk from Killiney Hill where you can get a full view of Dublin.

  • You've got everything you need. I was alone but two people will be very comfortable in this studio apartment. You're within walking distance of train (DART), bus as well as pubs, restaurants, and grocery. I highly recommend Jim's place. I plan on going back. Jim was the ultimate host and helped me in so many ways. Thank you Jim. I can't wait to get back!

    Barry2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Jim is super friendly and easy going. The maisonette is stylish and more a house rental in that it has all the facilities you may need, including washing facilities for people on a longer stay. The sofa bed was almost new and a little trying but when folded really does add to the small cottage feel of the place. Jim left some coffee, tea, and milk out for us and cupboard had lots of small essentials like salt, pepper etc. The area I know well, the Dart connection is 5 mins. walk, and in general the whole greater Dun Laoghaire area is one of Dublin's best kept secrets, a walk on the Pier, Teddy's Ice Cream, a swim at the Forty foot, a walk to Dalkey, you could easily spend a week and not run out of things to do. Highly recommended, if it isn't already fully booked!

    Pearse2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jim was a fantastic host! He was very friendly and helpful all the way around. We loved our stay here!

  • We had the most amazing time staying in this bnb. It's a small studio but it's absolutely PERFECT for two people. Jim is a fabulous host. The space is super clean, well organized, has great amenities, a book with tons of information regarding restaurants, public transportation, etc. Would stay again!

  • The cottage is truly well-designed, full of artistic details while maintaining high level of functionality. A lovely holiday retreat for anyone who wants to discover Ireland. Sarah has been nothing but a thoughtful and caring host throughout the stay. Upon my arrival there were fruits and other cooking ingredients available as the storm pretty put grocery shopping out of question. In the next few days I’ve always been able to receive quick responses to all my questions. Highly recommended!

    Chris2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah's place is a very relaxing space in an excellent location for exploring Dublin.

    Sean2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • It is hard to figure out what to talk about first - the location (perfect for exploring Dublin), the place itself (stylish, individual, really comfortable) or our host (Sarah could not have been more welcoming or helpful). Go ahead and book, you will not be disappointed

    Ben2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely five stars from us. Sarah’s flat is charming, spotless, and cozy. Sarah has been an outstanding host. I highly recommend staying here. My husband Jack and I just arrived from America and Sarah was very welcoming and helped us get settled and started here in Dublin. She is very thoughtful and responsive. We even had a lovely surprise of treats waiting for us. Super comfy beds and very clean. Thanks Sarah!

    Tyler2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Sarah's cottage. It is a great location with close access to Dundrum (lots of dining options as well as shopping). It is a very near to the Luas station which is an easy mode of public transportation to get into downtown Dublin or other locations. The cottage is beautiful, well designed with so many stylish and thoughtful elements but it is also practical and comfortable. Sarah was excellent with her communication and flexibility around check-in and check-out times. Would definitely recommend staying here and we would love to go back and stay again!

    Allie2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah welcomed us after a long flight and it made a big difference in making us feel comfortable in our new temporary home. Our little family of four had an incredible week at Sarah's place. We used the LUAS nearly every day for our adventures and Sarah's place is a short 2-3 minute walk to the station. The home was spotless, beautiful, and incredibly well-appointed. We also used Sarah's guidebook for nearly all of our adventures in the area. Use her thoughtful guide, it's wonderful!! Simply put, one of the best airbnb experiences we have had thus far. Highly recommend!

    Adam2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, awesome host, brilliant location with local / city access. Hugh shopping complex & local shops in walking distance. Great eateries to choose - we loved the Drundrum House Pub! Highly recommended place to stay - thanks Sarah!

    Bill2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • We are repeat visitors to Sarah’s beautiful home. I honestly don’t have any suggestions to improve #3. It is exactly and consistently as shown, spotlessly clean, bright, peaceful and the location is perfect. Easy access to transport, to a super Fast coach service to the airport if needed. DTC shops restaurants minutes away by foot. Lidl! Dealz! I’m only Worried that the next time we want to stay it will be booked out. Thank you Sarah.

  • Audrey's place is such an amazing place to stay, quiet neighbourhood, clean and tidy, tea of different flavour, coffee, brown sugar, white sugar, and if you dont fancy that, there is sweetener, plus loads of cookies , and Audrey is an amazing host as well.

  • I went to Dublin with my partner for a weekend getaway and this was the perfect retreat. It was convenient to get to, had everything we needed, plus the blackout blinds were a bit too effective! There was also a large supermarket only a few minutes away where we bought groceries from. Would highly recommend this place for a relaxed stay.

    Cathy2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely space to stay in and Audrey was always available for questions. I would happily stay again

    Michael2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Spent an awesome time in this cosy cabin. It is an amazing place for couple or solo.

    Muhammad Zahid2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • As the name suggests, a really cozy cabin with everything you need on vacation. The cutest dishwasher I've ever had, but it does what it should ;-) Check-in and out were very easy, Audrey is a friendly host and is always happy to answer any questions or suggestions. Thanks for the snacks and the delicious jam. The information about the bus and supermarket has already been described several times. Highly recommended as a location for travelers who want to discover Dublin and the Wicklow Mountains. The next time I want to travel to the Dublin area, reunion is not out of the question if availability is given. The information about the bus and supermarket has already been described several times

  • Lovely place to stay, very cosy and thoughtful touches to it.

    Ciana2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • The Cozy Cabin was exactly as pictured. It was completely renovated and private. Self check in was provided without any errors. Free street parking was an option. The host provided converter connectors which is a huge plus but we had our own. The wifi did not work but host did attempt to reconfigure- could be a router issue. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Close to bus route and expressways. Not far from DUB airport. Within 30/40mins from downtown Dublin. Excellent stay

Please note: This apartment has a private entrance, but it also connects to the main house and although you have your own microwave and kettle, the kitchen facilities are shared with the hosts. One night bookings are most welcome if placed within three weeks of arrival. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, What makes our place unique is the fantastic location. We are in a completely rural setting with fantastic scenery yet only a 50 mn. journey to Dublin, so you can easily experience both the city and and the rural world. We are within walking distance of a small village which has a good restaurant and a traditional pub. There are great walks and lots of places to visit locally. From the village you can get to the Wicklow Hills and Bray (a lovely seaside town with traditional pubs & restaurants). A small theatre and a leisure centre plus a beautiful promenade. Dublin is accessible by bus alsothe LUAS & DART. There are direct bus links to Bray, Dublin, Wicklow Town and Glendalough as well as Dublin Airport and Rosslare Seaport. We are 12 minutes walk from this stop. Alternatively, you can reach the Dublin centre in a 35 minutes drive and the Dublin Airport in also a 35 minutes drive. Your room is lovely with an ensuite shower room and an informal seating area adjoined. You have your own entrance and a microwave and kettle - for any other cooking you can use our kitchen. We are just a door away and will always be happy to help. The accommodation is suitable for two people or a small family. It is an ideal location to get away from it all. When your batteries are recharged there are, amongst other things, beautiful walks, golf, gardens to visit, and a visit to Dublin to enjoy. *** Why not avail of our special offer 2 nights B&B and a home cooked dinner for €140!** Looking forward to your visit. Maura
  • We absolutely loved our stay at this house :) The location is quiet and peaceful, Maura's place is ideal for people who want to get more in touch with the surrounding nature and for people who are seeking for a break from the busy routine of a city. The house is well facilitated and comfortable, has a well equipped kitchen, a comfy bedroom with a double bed and a nice bathroom with a shower. The house provides a rich bookshelf, good variety of boardgames and movies and thus a great source of relax :) Maura and Sean provided an excellent level of hospitality, they were very welcoming and helpful, they also gave us invaluable tips how to get around. They are very very good and experienced hosts and they have two lovely dogs as well, who are eager to get to know you :) Me and my fiance James are delighted that we chose this place. Tips: The house has a self checkin with a lockbox outside. In case you are commuting with bus, Dublin Bus 45a and Wexford Bus 740 takes you to Kilmacanogue (as of 28.10.'19) and it is about 10-15min walk to get to the house. Have a flashlight with you as the streets are dark at night.

  • Place exactly like the pictures describe it. The hosts are really nice.

    Luís2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy apartment, privet bath and bedroom. Very doog breakfast. Most importantly, the hosts are super nice, very welcoming. We set to eat breakfast together and talk about 1 hour and a half. Will very much recommend to stay there.

    Avital2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Maura & Sean (with their 2 beautiful doggos) were extremely welcoming and friendly. They were great with local advice and the place was exactly what I was looking for

    Cheryl2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Maura and Sean are very kind and helpful hosts and if someone is looking for a nice and quiet place it is a good choice. It isn’t very close to Dublin but it is accessible by bus and even easier if you rent a car, so it is absolutely worth it for that price. We even took advantage to have a traditional Irish dinner with them and it was brilliant. Once again big Thank you to Maura and Sean for being so kind and helped us to explore Dublin.

    Preslav2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for some peace and quiet on a farm in the countryside, yet just a short drive to Bray, then this is it. It’s a perfect place for a solo or a couple, with a big comfy double bed, modern walk-in shower, and a generous breakfast, courtesy of host Maura. It was so quiet there and I slept like a log every night - something I don’t often get to do in town apartments, but think is an essential requirement. Maura was a friendly and generous host who made sure I had everything I needed for my stay, and also recommended local places to eat, drink or visit. I could easily and happily stayed for a few more days as I only scratched the surface of things to do in the area. Thank you for hosting.

    Mark2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • We spent one night at Maura and were overall very satisfied. By a late flight we arrived at 1 o'clock at night, which was however no problem with the check-in with key box. The rooms were accessed via a separate entrance, were very nice and clean. Private bathroom, as well as a lounge including a small breakfast we really liked.

    Fabian2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time here! Maura and Sean were great hosts and provided us with tips what to do and were very friendly. We felt very welcome! Breakfast and dinner were very good too! If we‘re ever in Ireland again we would really like to stay with them again! Thanks for everything!

My husband and I, our two children and our 2 friendly Cocker Spaniels, all live in the house.
The room is very spacious and has a double bed, wardrobe and a desk/dresser. There is also a modern ensuite shower room with wc. It is a newly built house, so everything is new and freshly decorated.
The house is in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood in a enclosed cul de sac.
  • Beautiful home with great space in an immaculate clean en-suite room.

    Geale2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay and even better hosts. From the first moment I entered the house, I felt welcome and warmly received. The house is incredible, you can appreciate a family atmosphere, close and warm. Every stay is wonderful, there is no detail missing. But the best of all is them, they make the stay even better. Whenever I have needed help they have offered it to me. I have felt like one of the family. I'll definitely come back...

    Cristina2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely stunning home from home. Inge and her family are amazing hosts, so relaxed, personable and caring. I have stayed in many AirBnB’s in Dublin and this is simply the best one. I’ll definitely stay again and cannot recommend Inge’s home and her hospitality highly enough.

    Joseph2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully outfitted house in a quiet, upmarket estate. Inge and her family (including two very friendly doggies!) were charming hosts and made it feel like a home from home. Included breakfast made for a great start to the day. I'll be in the area again soon and fingers crossed there'll be a vacancy!

    Dublin 18, County Dublin, Ireland

Newly refurbished studio apartment with private entrance off of family home. Large ensuite shower room and WC. Wifi, cable TV and office desk in place. Large storage units including a fridge and microwave. This studio apt will come serviced with fruit, juice, coffee, breakfast cereals, yogurts etc. This would be very suitable for a commuting professional or someone passing through as a tourist.
The apt is located right beside the N11 and one of the main buss corridors into Dublin city cente (25 min). The airport bus also stops right beside the apt as well.
Safe suburb on south side of Dublin. Excellent transport links to airport and city centre. Large super market, restaurants and a very large park within 5 min walk.
  • A very nice and tidy room, excellently equipped and great value for money - even when you take into account the money you will spend on bus tickets to get you there and back. The bust stop is close and buses straight to the city run every few minutes with a travel time of 30 min. There’s stuff to see in Cabinteely as well, such as the lovely park. A shopping centre can be found in the neighbourhood, as well as pubs and restaurants further down the road. If you’re staying for a longer period of time, you’ll love the washing machine - just remember to turn on the air dehumidifier, otherwise your laundry will never dry. Don’t hope for a great view out of the window (it’s just a suburban street), watch the TV instead, it has a great selection of channels to keep you entertained on a rainy day. All in all, a gret place to stay!

    Matti2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Bryan and his family was very kind and lovely. He helped me a lot what to see in the neighborhood. The room met my needs, it was very compact and clean. I highly recommend this accomodation.

  • This is a great studio room with everything you might need. It is on a quiet street, yet 5mn from a Dunnes supermarket and the bus stop. So it's handy to UCD and TCD. Bryan is a lovely and welcoming host. I would 100% recommend!

    Audrey2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Bryan and his family were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The room has a separate entrance so it's private, small but very cozy. Communication with Bryan was smooth, he's an extremely helpful chap. This is what I call Irish hospitality!

  • Bryan is the best person I could meet in Ireland. I had a really bad experience when I arrived and he helped me with everything. He helped me with all the tramits I needed to do and he was really kindly. That’s the best hostman I’ve ever met in Airbnb. As the room, it has all the things you need and it’s very comfortable, you can have as much contact with the family as you want.

    Lucía2018-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Absolute gentleman of a host and lovely place, would absolutely recommend!

    James2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Bryan is a kind and considerate host. His house is very clean and the studio perfect for a single traveler. I had everything I needed and more. Bryan also took the time to drive me to the supermarket that is just few minutes walking from the house. The neighbourhood area is green and provides everything you might need. in I was in Dublin only one day for a conference, so I cannot say much more, but the transport to and from Bryan's place was ideal, the bus quick and with frequent connections. Highly recommended!

Communication with Ciara was very easy, fast, efficient, Ciara making itself available as soon as possible to answer any questions. Address to remember!

  • As a repeat visitor I felt the same welcome and appreciated the thoughtful touches as the first time I stayed. From early messages to see what nibbles I wanted on arrival, to check ins through the visit to make sure everything's ok, Ciara gave the perfect balance of space and attention. I loved staying here, for me the location was perfect, the space ideal. An experience I'd heartily recommend.

    Kate2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about staying in Ciara's was really great. Clear and swift communication, wonderful location (for me working in Cherrywood) with easy access to Luas, a selection of nibbles made this a great welcome. The space itself was cleverly laid out to feel spacious and had absolutely everything I needed for the stay. I highly recommend Ciara's place and look forward to staying again.

    Kate2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ciara Is the best! And her place Is awesome. She was also very flexible for the check-in and always very communicative.

    Alejandro2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ciaras accommodation is small, very comfortable and invites you to feel comfortable immediately. Worth mentioning is the info sheet, which offers orientation and security for insecure guests. We thank you for the nice time and accommodation with you and the delicious breakfast. The welcome biscuits were relished, with a smile on their face, distorted.

  • Wonderful place 🙏🙏

  • Ciara's place is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. It is very near to Cabinteely Park and close to Carrickmines the area of shops. The whole place made us feel at ease. Ciara and Dave were very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when they welcomed us. I would definitely recommend their place!

Great rail links into Dublin City, (approx 24 mins). We have a British Bulldog called Doughball so must love dogs!

  • I was fortunate to stay at Brian’s over 4 nights. He went above and beyond to accommodate me. His home feels like just that- a home. It is comfortable and beautiful inside. I especially enjoyed my tea looking out into the back garden. I am already planning my return next summer. This was my first air bnb experience and it far surpassed all of my expectations. Thank you Brian, for being the super-ist super host!

  • Brian was an incredibly kind and present host. I rented his upstairs (double) room with en suite bath and was not disappointed in anyway. The room was clean, bright and airy. The house was easy to find from public transportation, and in a great location in Dun Laoghaire. Everything I wanted (food, shopping, museum, theater, library, etc.) was in walking distance. The neighborhood is friendly, quiet and safe. I had no problems with the lock on the door, or Brian's dog getting into any of my stuff. Brian answered all the questions I had and cheerfully helped me get all of my needs met during my stay at his place. I highly recommend this honest, soulful host and his awesome, affordable rental. Cheers!

This large sunny room has a comfortable kingsize bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a chest of drawers. There is access by public transport to both Dublin city and County Wicklow. My little house is on the southern edge of the Dublin metropolitan area, with access to public transport such as dart (suburban rail), luas (tram), Dublin bus, night bus, as well as a Bus Eireann bus to Wicklow town as well as the St. Kevin's bus to Glendalough. Do you want a quiet night's sleep with access to Dublin city?
The kitchen and bathroom will be shared with 1 other person.
Very quiet area. 20 mins walk from Killiney Beach and train station (38 mins to city, 7 mins to Bray by train) 12 mins walk from Tesco' s supermarket.
  • Dolly was very kind and very helpful in finding our way to her home!

  • Helen made me feel welcome right away, and provided detailed guidelines to get to her cottage. I appreciated her quick response to my request, as well. She also gave me good local tips on how to get around the area, and made sure I had all I wanted. The room was very clean, bright, large, and spacious. It was among the largest rooms I've stayed in with airbnb. The double bed was very large and comfortable, too. The area is scenic, being near the sea, hills, beaches, and the Wicklow mountains aren't far away either; you can see the Three Rock and Sugarloaf Mountains well. There is great fresh air compared to the city. A holiday atmosphere makes you feel you want to stay around and explore, especially in the sunny weather, which I had all the time I was there. I doubly recommend a stay with Helen, I enjoyed her hospitality and sharing the house and location. I wished I had a longer stay, given how great value it was. There is a leisure center just one minute's walk away with a gym and pool. Enjoy.

Bray itself is a really nice place for a weekend, and this house is situated in a quiet area just a couple of minutes far from the beach and restaurants. The house is full of beautiful paintings and the decoration is really nice. Everything was tidy and clean. But best of all was that they made us feel at home. We will repeat

  • A great place to stay - decent, clean rooms, good neighborhood, big yard, it's quiet like nothing else at night, the host is great and quick to respond, and while there's not much to do in the immediate area there are plenty of options to get around.

    Morven2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tony and Sheila were kind, helpful and warm hosts and live in a quiet, residential area. To my surprise, my bedroom included some thoughtful touches, such as my own kettle, utensils, some snacks, tea & coffee. The bed was warm and comfortable, one of the best of all the Airbnbs I've stayed at. The bus stop was a couple minutes away and takes you directly into Dublin. You can walk to the Tesco, it's less than 10 minutes away. I would stay there again!

  • Had a very nice stay

    Chris2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • Tony and Shilla are friendly and kind people. All the time they helped me with my job and all the thing that I needed. The hause is comfortable and I could walk since here to my job only for 30 minutes. My English wasn't a problem. I recommend this airbnb to all the people who would like to visit Ireland, because is amazing .

  • Excellent choice to stay for visiting Dublin.. 40 minute bus ride to the city center, but the difference in price compared to central locations is easily worth it. Lovely nature park ‘Killiney Hill’ near the house was a huge bonus. Tony and Sheila were wonderful hosts, the room was clean, equipped, and had great goodies in it. Thanks for your hospitality and your attention to detail, we had a great time.

My place is close to Dart Station for transport and the Aircoach from the Airport is five minutes walk. Restaurants, shops and cinemas are within walking distance. This place is very central to all the amenities of Dun Laoghaire Harbour while only 20 minutes by train to Dublin city centre. It has good wardrobe space and large mirrors.
The house is a short distance from the seas and and harbour where there are sporting activities such as stand up paddling, windsurfing and sailing. there are popular walks out both the East and the West piers minutes from the house. Shops restaurants, cafes and cinemas are a few minutes in the other direction.
The location next to the sea is what makes this place unique. It is at the hub of a sailing and sea sports location, yet only 20 minutes from the City Centre.

Pleasant single rooms in a quiet secluded estate in cul de dac in Bray co wicklow. You will stay in a family home near Bray centre with many bars and restaurants all walking distance. You might like to visit our local theatre and see a good play or listen to great live music in the many pubs in the town .the craic can be mighty.enjoy
Rooms are in a great seaside town in Bray and near the wicklow mountains You might like to climb the sugarloaf mountain or walk the cliff walk from Bray to greystones don't forget your walking boots
Bray is a lovely seaside town about an hour away by bus from Dublin or 30 minutes on the dart and one hour from wexford by train
  • Pat and Ann are the warmest, most wonderful hosts. They became friends the week I was there. I learned a lot about Ireland from them. Bray was my favorite place in Ireland. Beautiful hikes, good food, easy bus transport, great charity shops. Mostly, I enjoyed spending time with Ann and Pat.

    Wendy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Patrick and Anne are great hosts and did everything they could to make us feel at home for our long stay. The location is great, its proximity to public transit made going into Bray and Dublin easy and painless. I’m very glad to have stayed here!

    Madison2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at Patrick's place was great! It was in a very quiet neighborhood, it was very nice to take a walk in the morning to go to the seafront. When he can, Patrick offered himself to take me to the seafront by car. All his family was very kind. Really nothing bad to say, I also had breakfast in the morning. I couldn't ask for nothing more. :)

    Alessio2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Bray is an attractive seaside town with excellent train and bus connections to Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock and Stillorgan. There are a great many small Shops, charity Shops and Cafes, and some decent Pubs, plus an excellent promenade along the Seafront. Patrick and Anne live a little way out of town, probably 15 minutes by foot, but the 145 bus goes through Bray and then on to Dublin, and normally arrives every 10 minutes, and the Bus Stop is about 200 hundred yards from Pat's front door, and there is also a local shop where necessities can be bought Patrick was always willing to offer the daily paper or a cup of tea, and tried to make me feel welcome, for a stay which lasted over 2 months and where we had really no problems. Anne organised everything else, I had access to a washing machine and the lounge, with a personal fridge and some space to keep anything which I bought to eat or drink. The bedroom was relatively small, but comfortable and equipped with a small computer table from which I could do some work when necessary All in all very good hosts and a very pleasant location

  • We spent our honeymoon here and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. Vivienne‘s place was sparkling clean, and cupboards and fridge fed us for days. The appartment is located in a very nice, quiet, safe and sophisticated area and is even better than on the photos. The incredible view overwhelmed us again and again. On top of that, communication with Vivienne was always very quick, she gave us the best local tips, which never disappointed us, and we even got to spend a lovely evening with her which we really treasure. Vivienne is a very kind and generous host and we will definitely book here again if we come back to visit stunning Ireland!

    Maybritt2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • The house is amazing and the views are breathtaking! Everything was immaculate, Vivienne was really welcoming despite we got there late because our flight was delayed. She showed us the house and gave us some information maps so we could go visiting the morning after. The kitchen has everything you could need. We had a lovely experience! We would come back for sure! 100% recommended!!! Thanks Vivienne!

  • Can't recommend more this unique gem in the heart of South Dublin! We used to live in the city for a very long time and we thought we know Dalkey and Dun Laoghaire, but this time it was like re-discovering your fav places again! Vivienne is an amazing host and will look after you well. The place is spotlessly clean and the views are second to none. Just enjoy the moment when you stay there.

    Filip2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Despite a slight mishap with communication, we had a great stay at Vivienne’s. The place has a great view and was easy to get to. We especially enjoyed the groceries and snacks that were left for us!

    Staisha2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Vivienne's place was fantastic. Best Air BNB I've ever stayed at! Her hospitality was second to none - pictures were exactly the same as the apartment. Flowers smelled lovely and she had essentials stocked in the kitchen so that you could catch your breath before running out. Lots of great tips for sights to see around the area! I cannot say enough about this lovely apartment and it's tremendous host! I will most definitely be back!!

    Melanie2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • The cosiest Airbnb I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. A clean house all to one’s self with snacks and breakfast available. Wonderful hospitality from the host who was kind enough to collect me from my coach stop. A superb spot if you’re looking to be reclusive; the perfect “eat, pray, love” moment.

Water, fruit and a small snack was available which made the stay very nice. Check in was great and Leo’s communication was excellent and immediate. I will definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

  • Very comfortable home just 5 minutes drive off the M50. In quiet countryside setting with stunning views. We had our own living room and kitchenette with everything you’d need for breakfast plus microwave if you wanted to have dinner in. Room was toasty and warm and bathrooms was modern and had all the toiletries one could need. Nice extras like fresh flowers and books to read we’re lovely. The family were so kind - definitely would love to return. Heartily recommend.

  • John and his family made us feel very welcome in their house. The accommodation was perfectly clean, nice furnished and had a beautiful location. Great place to escape from a noisy city and only downhill from the Johnny Fox Pub. Would highly recommend! Thanks very much!

  • We stayed here for one night after a wedding, John was so accommodating letting us check in early and also check out late, even giving us fruit and cereal for breakfast in the morning. The room was just what we needed, a comfy bed with an ensuite bathroom. John was very welcoming and his family are so lovely. If you want to escape to the Irish countryside but also be close to pop in and out of the city this would be a great choice. John was so friendly and helpful - he was a perfect host!

  • Out of the city, but well located for a park and ride into Dublin. Independent access a bonus. Spacious, beautiful view and kind hosts! Thank you 😊

  • John and Joan are exceptional hosts and incredibly thoughtful. Their house is located in the most beautiful setting in the countryside. It's quiet and the room overlooks a meadow so you can hear the birds sing first thing in the morning. Would most definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it as a base for anyone setting out on the Wicklow Way.
