  • Monika's place was a wonderful location for exploring Loop Head. We enjoyed many beautiful walks, visiting Carmody's Pub and dinner at The Long Dock. We would also highly recommend the trip out to Scattery Island while you are in the area. A great home for families.

  • The house is in the heart of the village and is 10 out of 10 for location . It's a very cosy house with plenty of room for 4 adults and 1 child. The house was spotless on arrival and a nice warm welcome from Mary on arrival day and was on hand for any questions. Will be back next year .

  • Monika's cottage was the perfect base from which to explore Loop Head. Cosy, comfortable, clean, well-equipped, and a great location, next to the village pubs and restaurant. We'll be back!

  • Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Carrigaholt. We loved the small town feel...short walk to the ocean, large beaches, cliffs, a castle, and of course a pub or two just a few doors down. Two weeks wasn’t enough to see (and go back to) all of the locations we wanted to explore. Must go back one day.

  • Who can resist renting a stone house in Ireland with a green door? We couldn't. The house was convenient to our Loop Head family and friends who we invited to join us for evenings in front of the fire. How lovely to be able to walk back to our lodging after a meal at The Long Dock or an evening at Carmody's. We were traveling light so appreciated the wide the selection of books. Though the weather was cold and windy, the house stayed warm and the bedding was toasty. Nothing can damp the spirits when one is in Loop Head. We look forward to staying at Monika's home again.

  • well looked after and managed property and if the weather turns a little poor (like during our visit storm Ali) use the wood burner it turns the house into a home....

  • Fantastic stay with our baby. Nice house, crib and great breakfast. Host was very nice and had info on the area. Got to try their farms milk where Kerry Gold butter comes from. The cliffs near by are amazing and are a substitute if you don't have time for the Cliffs of Moher.

  • We enjoyed our stay at Jan & Pete's lovely bungalow close to Carrigaholt village. It was a handy base to explore the Loop Head peninsula and West Clare. Carrigaholt is a pretty little village with a shop, gastropub and takeaway so you have plenty of options of an evening. The house has a nice west-facing patio out the back and is well maintained.

    Derek2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful clean home would definitely recommend very quiet relaxing location everything provided

    Mary2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely house, really well equipped and comfortable - a real home away from home feel. We would definitely stay again!

    Matt2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very comfortably furnished, a large living room and a cozy little, which can also be used as a bedroom. The 3 bedrooms have cozy beds and soft linens. Everything necessary is available in the kitchen. The terrace is large and equipped with patio furniture. We have from the house about 1 hour to the Cliffs of Moher needed, and only about 15 minutes to the lighthouse "our" peninsula with just as great cliffs and views! For the tour on the peninsula and walks around the lighthouse you should definitely take time! After Ennis, a pretty town, we also took an hour. Close to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, we also loved it, so you can imagine how all the castle ruins used to be. From the house to the sea or to Carrigaholt you need on foot about 20 minutes on roads, which are also used by cars.

Would definitely stay again, very resonabley priced.

  • Great house, loads of room and garden, all walking distance to town

    Lothar2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Be sure to have a rental car and groceries because it is rather isolated, but that is part of what makes it so peaceful and lovely.

  • Absolutely wonderful!!! Anne Marie's home is perfect for families. Home is very spacious with a beautiful backyard for children to play. • Situated in a lovely location in Cross village on the Loop peninsula Co. Clare. The village has a small shop and pub. The house is surrounded by large private gardens. The accommodation is great with two of the bedrooms en-suite and a further bathroom downstairs. The kitchen is bright and spacious with sliding doors to the garden. It is great value too. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

This 130 year old cottage, lovingly restored and full of character, retains its original stone finish - inside and out. Set on an acre of landscaped garden, it was the former home of Michael Brennan, a local blacksmith.
The ground floor, finished with Mexican Terracotta, covers approximately 35 square meters with underfloor heating. Two mezzanine floors have been added and floored with beautifully-grained Honduran pitch pine. The high ceilings and roof beams remain exposed. The lounge area centres around a multi-fuel stove. Within the original stone wall, there are many interesting details to be found. Above the fireplace, there is an old-style drying rack operated by a manual pulley system. This is anchored with a 'calf-hook', a feature in old farmhouses used for tethering young animals during long winter nights. The mezzanine loft twin room overlooks the lounge area and is accessed by a spiral staircase. The two double bedrooms are located behind the chimney breast, the upper being accessed by an open stone stairway. The bathroom comprises a shower, with exposed copper plumbing fixtures, toilet and handbasin. Solar panels provide ample hot water all year round. The landscaped gardens are very secluded and south-facing. There is off-road, gated carparking for 3 vehicles.
Brennan's Old House is situated on the lower road between the villages of Cross and Kilbaha; both are renowned for their restaurants, pubs and traditional music. A guide with our personal favourites and recommendations is kept in the cottage. This headland is known as Loop Head. It is one of the most remote and beautiful places in the country, dividing the Shannon estuary from the open sea and is a Signature Point on the Wild Atlantic Way (the world's longest defined coastal touring route). It was designated Ireland's Aquatic Destination of Excellence in 2010 and was named the Irish Times 'Best Place to Holiday in Ireland' in their 2013 competition. The lighthouse, at the point of Loop Head, is Clare's most westerly point with magnificent views of the Limerick and Kerry coastline, the Shannon and the Atlantic. It has stood guard there for over 340 years. Nearby, the Bridges of Ross are natural arches spanning the inlet of a natural harbour leading to the Atlantic Ocean. Birdwatching, Dolphin-watching and Angling are all activities available in the locality, with golfing and surfing hotspots located further north along the coast. The Loophead Summer Hedge School combines an exploration of the unusual flora of the Loop Head peninsula with poetry, art and creativity workshops, and wild food foraging.
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Aoife’s cottage. What a great place! Check-in with Mary was easy, great response time from both Aoife and Mary. The layout, furniture and very nicely chosen decorations made it so nice a cozy on the cold winter nights. We were always happy to come home and lounge by the fire after a day outside exploring Loop Head in the winter ( February). Also the lack of mobile reception and internet was a real bonus for us overworked city folk. There are also plenty of nice extras there such as board games, puzzles, books, and a very handy info folder with lots of tips for the area. We had a great time on Loop Head and definitely could have stayed a couple days longer at Aoife’s. Thanks a lot!

    Tristan2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for a getaway. Lovely and warm and the neighbour Mary welcomed us. Would go again for sure, when we need a break from work.

    Dave2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Our second visit was just as good as out first! Such a beautiful house to spend a few relaxing days in!

    Lorraine2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and lovingly restored cottage with so much charm and refined details. We really enjoyed our stay there and immediately felt comfortable. The beds were the best in our entire trip to Ireland and apart from a few spiders in the house (which somehow just fitted in and I'm actually not a spider friend :-D) everything was super clean. There is also a large selection of board games that kept us entertained with a glass of wine in the evening :-). I don't want to say much about the area but I have been to Loop Head twice and it is still my favorite place there. I can absolutely recommend the accommodation and I can very well imagine spending my next stay at Loop Head again. Definitely longer than two nights :-)!

    Sophie2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A beautifully restored cottage in an amazing location. We will definitely return in the future!

    Leo2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Disconnect and refresh! This is absolutely the place to do it. Aoife responds quickly and directions are accurate (we were able to use google maps as well with directions give). I do suggest trying to get there in daylight your first time. The lights and heat were on for us. Heated floors!! Heated floors! These were a fantastic surprise. The kitchen has a cooker, ice box, cookware and utensils. Linens were all fresh and clean. No cell coverage or internet - a blessing! However, if you need service we were able to catch it just up the road. If you are looking to unwind and relax - this is absolutely he place to be. It was beautiful in the winter, I can only guess it is even more amazing in the summer.

    Alicia2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is exactly what you’re looking for. As of our stay, it was exactly what we were looking for. Great views, updated cottage. Plenty of spaces to sleep. A great time. Highly recommend!

  • Amazing! What a beautiful cottage; the love and thoughtfulness that went into restoring it is everywhere. Its a very unique place to stay that is definitely off the beaten path. Aoife was an excellent host and always replied quickly. She also gave lots of advice when booking along with very detailed directions on how to get to the cottage. It was cosy and the beds were comfortable, I would absolutely recommend staying at the cottage!

With beaches within five minutes of walking or cycling, this cottage is perfect for getting away from it all. There is no TV or wifi - you can choose to escape the 21st century, or bring along your own laptop and hotspot from your phone if you prefer. The decor is very simple but stylish in this cottage, which is at least 200 years old. In the garden, birds often provide the only sounds and the view of the river Shannon over to Kerry is stunning. Follow us on instagram; @Shannonsidecottage.
On the field behind the house local young people sometimes play traditional irish sports. The village of Carrigaholt is nearby and towns of Kilkee and Kilrush are not far away. Loop Head (featured on latest Star Wars!) was named by the Irish Times as the best place to holiday in Ireland and the local village of Carrigaholt is notable for its Dolphin Watch and excellent sea food. There is also a lovely pub to eat at in Kilbaha. If you don't feel like moving far at all, dolphins in the river have been sighted from the kitchen window.
Situated on the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way, so is perfect if you wish to explore further afield, north through Clare taking in the Cliffs of Moher and into Galway or south to Kerry. Golfing at Doonbeg or surfing at Spanish Point or Lahinch are easily accessible by car.
  • This is a lovely private cottage in a great location. It has everything you want for a nice break in the area and was very clean and well presented. Would definitely recommend

    Cecilia2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cottage with everything you could need for break in this part off the world. The garden is lovely cottage had everything you would need including comfortable beds and great showers. All the toys as well including bikes and games.

    Claire2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We used this as a base to visit the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, as well as the Pollock Holes and horse-riding on the beach. Great place to cycle and we saw dolphins on our return the Aran islands! We loved the soda bread and marmalade when we arrived - a really nice touch. This place is simple but provides a great location to explore key sites.

    Rob2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Shannonside is a special place! it’s a great, quiet location and our host started our stay out right with fresh bread, butter and jam! day trips around the loop head peninsula were easy to access and the secluded beach just around the corner was lovely!!

    Meredith2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed ourselfs at this wonderful place very close to the Shannon river and Atlantic. We made a couple of trips to the well known hot spots at the west coast like Cliffs of Moher and Burren. But we recognized soon that there are very nice spots very close to the cottage. Cliffs of Kilkee might be even more beautiful than their big sister and also a hike around the Loop Head was really impressive. Thanks a lot Frank

    Frank2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • A very comfortable cottage which made a great base for exploring the Loop Head peninsula, which is spectacular. A car is essential to take advantage of the many excellent restaurants in Carrigaholt, Kilbaha and Kilkee. Bikes are provided but as we had our dog with us, we didn't take advantage. Plenty of basics are provided upon arrival, the Soda bread being a lovely treat. Supplies are available at Kilrush, approx. 20 mins in car. The cottage is well furnished and had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. Sarah was also happy to accept our dog, so we can highly recommend Shannon Side as a cosy home from home. Thank you Sarah for your hospitality.

    Mark2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a cosy house full of character in a rural location, this is for you! There is plenty to do, relax in the expansive garden, swim in the local sandy beach or explore the wild Atlantic way. Thank you Sarah.

    Eimear2019-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • After booking the cottage we immediately received a very friendly and detailed mail with a description how to get there and an overview of what is provided. The cottage has a lot of character with its stone floors, peat oven and old-fashioned furniture. There is a lovely view down across the fields to the River Shannon. Everything you need is provided, including tea, coffee and condiments, so there is no need to bring any with you (you just have to replace anything you use). There was a delicious loaf of soda bread waiting for us on the table which went down very well! We enjoyed our stay very much: if you want peace and quiet this is absolutely the right place. We didn't use the bikes that are part of the cottage but think for a longer stay we probably would have, as there are lots of places easily reachable by bike. In the surrounding area, we particularly recommend the spectacular scenery of the Loop Head Peninsula and a boat trip with Dolphin Watch in Carrigaholt. There are not many shops nearby; you need to go to Kilkee or Kilrush for a large-ish supermarket with more choice, although there are a couple of small shops more locally. There are also not many restaurants nearby: we would recommend Keatings Bar and Restaurant in Kilbaha.

The appartment is located right beside Beale Strand along the Wild Atlantic Way. From the living room window you have a breathtaking view over the strand and can even see the water. The beach is accesible via a short walk through a private field.
The apartment consists of one bedroom with a double bed and a pull-out couch in the sitting room. It also has kitchen and a bathroom. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet and even hear the waves from the sea. If the booking is for more than two people you can also use the second bedroom, which can be accessed through the hallway leading to the apartment. There is one other apartment in the house which we use ourselves for a few weeks every year. The rest of the time the other apartment will be empty.
Beale is located at the mouth of the Shannon along the Wild Atlantic Way. Its a small village right beside the beach. On the other side of the Shannon (ca. 4km) you can see Co. Clare. The next biggest town is Ballybunion, a very popular holiday destination with good bars and restaurants. It also has a very famous golf course and a nice long cliff walk around the castle green.
  • Liam's place is very peaceful and right by the sea. If you're looking to be cut off from the world for a while this is the place but you'll need a car as there isn't a bus in site! I don't usually like to cut myself off with no TV/WiFi etc but it did my family and I the world of good. Thoughtful touches. Wine and cake provided for arrival and easy check in process. Thank you!

    Chris2019-12-31T00:00:00Z

  • We had a wonderful stay and the house was everything we could have wanted and more. Check in times were communicated and updated often on the day of arrival. The house was spotless and well equipped and the bedrooms were very spacious. We were only 6 people, but the house could have comfortably held more couples or family groupings. Would definitely book it again for a return to the area or recommend it to others.

Relax and discover the Wild Atlantic Way from this seafront home in the quaint village of Querrin, 10 mins from the seaside town of Kilkee. Stunning sea views from every room take in the wild Atlantic, Kerry Mountains, and the passing ships on the Shannon estuary, the 5m tides on the west coast of Ireland guarantee that the scenery changes by the hour. Access to a private island almost 2km long comes with the property where guests can enjoy private sandy beaches, long walks, or dolphin watching.
This house is situated on the seafront on the Loop Head peninsula in county Clare, on the west coast of Ireland. It is located on the shore road in Querrin which has virtually no traffic, but is only 1 minute off the Wild Atlantic Way and within 10 minutes of the coastal towns of Kilkee and Kilrush with their traditional pubs, seafood restaurants and lively nightlife. Located only 15 minutes from the ferry to Kerry it is the ideal base to explore the beautiful west coast counties of Clare, Kerry, Limerick and Galway while also having the option of just chilling on the sun deck beside the seven person hot tub or on the beach. There are seven bedrooms and six bathrooms with sleeping and living accommodation for 15/16 people. Two master bedrooms with King size beds, five bedrooms have double beds with one bedroom having a single over double bunk bed. One of the rooms upstairs (the submarine room) includes a small cubby area, where children can play, hide or sleep or just escape reality for a while! This area is ideal for parents with a young child as they can stay in the same room. This room also features a porthole window, which faces back onto the field where we keep our horses. All rooms come with plenty of storage and closet space. The en-suites contain showers, with the main downstairs bathroom containing a bath and a shower. There are also full laundry facilities (washer and drier). There are two dining rooms in the house, one in the kitchen/dining area seats eight, and one in an adjoining room, featuring a handmade bespoke elm table with ship chain legs, seats twelve. For outdoor entertaining, there is an outside stone patio area with a handmade stone table that can seat 10 and a raised deck with a table for eight people, The stone patio can be accessed from the main dining room through sliding doors. The patio area also has access to an indoor-outdoor barbeque area, this features a 48 inch gas barbeque in its own enclosed room so it can be used even if the weather is not ideal for outdoor cooking. The kitchen contains all the appliances needed, with a large fridge, drinks fridge and freezer. There is an electric hob and oven, along with a grill, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, popcorn maker, dishwasher and more. There are two living areas in the house, one is a downstairs sunroom with sliding glass doors, perfect for breakfast/brunch on those warm summer mornings or relaxing with a glass of wine while you bathe in the late evening sunshine. This room has 2 comfortable leather couches, seating five. This faces onto an enclosed deck containing lounge chairs and an outdoor table surrounded by a wall with a hand-painted mural. Beside the deck is a seven-person hot tub where you can soak and massage tired muscles after a day of outdoor activities. The other sitting room is upstairs where multiple top hinged roof windows facing south take full advantage of the panoramic views out over the sea. This room features a large flat screen smart TV, which includes Netflix, along with a surround sound speaker system. There is a small wood stove in this room if you feel like cosying up on the leather couches and catching up on your TV series or watching a movie on Netflix. At the other side of the chimney in this room there is a bespoke bar, which seats nine people. The counter is made from Irish Elm and seating is revolving captain’s chairs with leather cushions, so you can take in the panoramic sea views to the front or watch the foals gallop and play in the field to the rear. There is a mini-fridge and small glasswasher under the bar and professional Guinness and Beer taps mounted on the counter (so bring your bartender). There is also a vintage-style record player in this room, with records included. This has a Bluetooth feature so that it can be connected to your phone to play your own choice of music when relaxing at the bar. The house faces onto the Estuary which is tidal. When the tide is in you can swim or canoe ten meters from the house. When the tide is fully out you can search the area for shellfish (mussels, crab, razor fish, periwinkles, barnacles) or lugworms for fishing. The inlet is separated from the estuary by an island which is 1.1 miles long, it is attached to the mainland by a causeway which is an eight-minute walk away. At low tide it is possible to walk across at the other end so a three mile circle walk is possible. On the island you can collect edible seaweed and shellfish along with enjoying the sandy beaches and millions of sea stones and shells. Pods of bottlenose dolphins can regularly be seen surfing the water from the island or from the upstairs windows on calm moonlight nights Fishing for Pollack, wrasse, dogfish, flatfish, bull huss, conger, thornback ray, codling, whiting, salmon, sea trout, mackerel and flounder is possible from the island. Skate, flounder, mackerel and Pollack are the most common species caught from the pier which is 200 metres from the house. Charter fishing boats or dolphin watching excursions can also be arranged to pick up guests at the pier. Just across the water is Kerry, with its gorgeous beaches and mountains. A day trip to Kerry is highly recommended, it can be reached by a ferry in half an hour. The outside area is child friendly with enclosed lawns to the front and rear. There are stunning flower gardens at the front of the house, with numerous types of flowers along with flourishing rosebushes which traverse the walls and climb the arch over a small gate leading to the road. The road is quiet, with very little traffic, making it a very safe area for children. We also own a large field to the rear of the house. In the summer, it is home to our mares and new foals, which are very friendly and inquisitive. In the wintertime, when the foals are weaned, the mares are moved out onto the island, mentioned earlier. This island also features a few small beaches. The water here deepens gradually, making it ideal for all ages and experience levels. At high tide, the water at the pier is four meters deep so is an ideal place for experienced swimmers, and jumping off the pier is a very popular activity here. There are also picnic benches at the pier where adults can relax while they supervise activities. The pier also features a handball alley, with tennis rackets and balls provided at the house. We also provide wetsuits in a range of sizes for the guests, along with beach towels. Kid’s toys, such as goalposts, board games, beach toys and so on are also available.
Querrin is situated 15 minutes from two seaside towns, Kilrush and Kilkee. Kilrush, a historic market town, contains a Tesco, Aldi and Supervalu, to stock up on anything that may be needed, along with farm market days where you can buy local produce. The newly opened West Coast Aqua Park in the marina is a huge hit with all ages, especially younger children. Also in Kilrush there is a kayaking company, which is a unique way to explore the Irish coastline. Ferries leave from Kilrush, bringing you to the ancient Scattery Island, the historic tower of which can be seen from the house. There is also an 18 hole golf course in Kilrush and just outside the town is Tarbert, where you can get the ferry to Kerry. Kilkee also has an 18 hole golf course as well as a pitch n’ putt course for the less serious golfers. There are many fabulous places to eat in Kilkee. An ice cream parlour is open every evening, just up from the gorgeous horseshoe shaped Kilkee beach, perfect for evening walks. A twelve minute drive away you will find the fishing village of Carrigaholt, from where dolphins watch cruises leave daily. Within walking distance from the house is Carmen’s riding school, which caters for all levels. It features treks on the beach, as well as around the roads of Querrin. Trump International Golf Links & Hotel is a 20 minute drive away, in Doonbeg. Spectacular cliff walks are to be found at Kilkee and around the Loop Head Lighthouse, and further west at the bridges of Ross, there are miles of traffic-free roads throughout the peninsula for relaxing strolling and cycling.
  • This an amazing house in an exceptional location with fantastic hosts! We stayed here with family over the holidays and it was perfect for our group. The custom built house is beautiful, every room is comfortable, views from the many windows and skylights are amazing, kitchen is well set up to cook for groups. Our trip was short but our two outings were fantastic 20-30 min drives to nearby natural Bridges of Ross and amazing cliffs/hikes at the Loop Head Lighthouse. Great pubs in the nearby towns. One of my very best airbnb experiences.

Set in the middle of the picturesque fishing village of Carrigaholt, SeaView House is a charming and spacious house with an extraordinary garden which  runs all the way down to the shore of Carrigaholt. The living areas all share the breathtaking view of the Shannon Estuary; a place to have breakfast whilst watching the boats come into the near and far piers. The coastline of Kerry is opposite and can be seen clearly from the garden. The house is idyllic in its setting and a rare find indeed!
The house is mostly set up for our guests and we have tried to accommodate for their every need  There are 3 very spacious bedrooms, each with memory foam mattresses and new beds. Each bedroom is ensuite. There are two main living areas set to the back of the house which are glass fronted  with french doors and floor to ceiling windows. The rooms run onto the back of the house into the garden. I am an avid gardener and have enjoyed creating a garden that is very much so enjoyed all year round. It is really the highlight of the house! The living areas are just a continuation of this.
Carrigaholt is a picturesque fishing village on the southern side of Loop Head, about 10 kilometres southwest of Kilkee. Set within an important ecological environment, the village lies at the mouth of the Moyarta river, which flows into the Mouth of the Shannon about 15 kilometres from the westernmost extremity of the peninsula. Carrigaholt is centred between two harbours, and although both are used, only the one to the south of the village (known as the ‘new’ pier) is fully operational on a commercial basis. The pier serves local fishing boats, delivering their catch to the local processing company, sea angling tours, and award-winning dolphin watching tours at the Mouth of the Shannon, home of the largest group of resident Bottlenose Dolphins in Europe. The village has an attractive centre, with distinctive streetscapes and quaint local character, and several pubs and restaurants. The harbour, the church (built 1882-1883) and, most important, the ruins of Carrigaholt Castle (see History & Heritage) are the most distinctive local landmarks. Carrigaholt also boasts a safe, sandy beach for swimming and water sports.

Coastal Cottage is a newer holiday home in Moveen East, Kilkee, Ireland. House has spectacular views of Atlantic ocean and charming town of Kilkee. An ideal place to enjoy everything the West Coast of Ireland has to offer. http://www.westclare.net/kilkeeview/
The cottage is a one-level wheel chair accessible home with 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, heated floors, and a spacious kitchen. Plenty of natural light comes in through the large windows in the kitchen and living room which also offer views of the ocean and the town by the bay. A separate laundry room leads to an attached garage which can be used for a rental car.
A popular seaside resort, Kilkee offers festive restaurants and pubs with traditional Irish music and the beautiful horseshoe beach which protected from the Atlantic Ocan by the Duggerna Reef. Nearby cliff walks provide stunning views of the coast among the many other attractions including golf, dolphin watching, water sports, fishing, etc. All pictures for this listing, although taken at different times, were taken on a walk down the coast from the cottage toward the town's bustling main strip by the bay. Edit: a few pictures were added from the beautiful southern coast of Loop Head Peninsula near Carrigaholt and the Shannon Estuary; a short drive to the south of Kilkee.
  • Magnificent bungalow , exceptionally clean and comfortable . Unbelievable views out over the Atlantic with the Aran Islands in the distance . Within easy reach by car to Kilkee. • Everything was wonderful during our stay. The location is gorgeous and the home is cozy. It had all we needed to make a few meals. It’s close enough to many of he things we wanted to see in the area, and far enough away to feel as isolated as you wish. One morning we were awakened by the gorgeous “wild” horses walking through the property with their foals. Stunning.

  • Great house with wonderful views of sea, cliffs and Kilkee (especially at night). Peacful and quiet getaway for those who like to unwind in beautiful areas of Ireland. A real gem.

  • Super house overlooking Kilkee bay. Ocean to the left, Shannon Estuary to the right so beautiful views from the kitchen and living area. Glorious cliff walks connect you to the town. This very well provisioned house is 40 mins walk from the town but it is worth the extra 30 mins to detour along the cliff walk. This was an easy rental, Tom was very responsive and his caretaker in the town was very welcoming. We would love to go back there.
