We had a fantastic time at Cristina's apartment - the apartment looks great, it's clean and tidy and Cristina has made it into a lovely place - nice touches like a coffee machine, super comfy bed, and the location is perfect - 200m from the main square but tucked away so very quiet and we slept really well! Olivier's apartment was large and well-appointed. It was in the centre of town and had a great view. A quick walk over the bridge and you were steps from the abbey, the market, restaurants, etc. Olivier was flexible and greeted us kindly, and was happy to show us the apartment and recommend some restaurants and areas to visit. We would recommend Albi and Olivier's apartment to anyone venturing to the area!

Plusses - idea for a single traveller or a couple - extremely-well positioned right in the heart of the old town- reasonable sized appartment, comfortable beds and very fast wifi. For us though I wish we had stayed somewhere else. We made this booking very late and the reason we came to Albi is because we are looking for a place to live permanently in the South of France for my husband's work. I have to research this alone, knowing no-one in the region, and with two children in tow (one of them 2 years old). Granted that we made the booking the night before we arrived, but the host acted as though he was doing us a favour - communication was sparse and there was no response until we were actually on the train to Albi - which meant that I had only bought a one-way ticket there in case the host never responded so the following day I had to go back to the station to buy the return journey. After telling us on arrival that a late checkout would be ok and that he would be in touch, he didn't respond to my message asking what time we should check out until late in the morning when we had already gone out, and the response meant we had to come back quickly and pack up and then walk round the town for several hours with our luggage until it was time to go back to the station. I travel an awful lot, often with children, and I have encountered a lot of hosts, but I think this is the first time I would say I wish we'd stayed in a hotel because it would have been a lot more expensive but worth it for the ease. Airbnb works through communication. If you are not read to receive guests, don't open your bookings. Other than that, as I said, great place for a couple, great location, good appartment. But if you are travelling with kids, maybe consider elsewhere, or maybe I just got the host on a bad day.

The apartment is well furnished and well equipped and especially great location. We spent 16 nights at Monsieur Medalle and everything was perfect! Only flat, the TV sometimes displays a bad signal and the laptop with SFR goes bad.

Très bon accueil avec tous les renseignements nécessaires. Situation idéale, à 5 minutes d'une zone commerciale avec un grand Leclerc ou mieux, à 10 minutes du centre d'Albi, parking du marché couvert, un petit marché ouvert tous les matins avec de quoi faire ses courses : poissons, viandes, fruits/légumes, crèmerie, pain, rôtisserie, ... La maison est fonctionnelle et nous n'avons manqué de rien question équipement à part peut-être un "vrai" four (mais c'est vraiment pour pinailler). La grande terrasse est parfaite pour les repas, elle surplombe la piscine où nous avons passé un bon nombre d'heures. Cette dernière est au soleil toute la journée, environnée de verdure qui préserve l'intimité. C'était le point fort du séjour. Avec la clim du salon (bien appréciable lors des soirées chaudes). Pour nos premières vacances avec Airbnb, c'était une réussite. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de la maison de Philippe ! Un grand merci à lui et à ses parents (qui nous ont gentiment offert quelques tomates du jardin).

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la maison de Philippe. Ses parents et lui ont su se rendre disponibles tout au long du séjour, notamment pour l'entretien de la piscine. Le petit plus : la possibilité de cueillir et déguster les fruits du jardin ;) Une adresse que nous recommandons également pour sa proximité avec la ville d'Albi et d'une zone commerciale.

Marie-Claire is an excellent host - she picked us up at the train station and even arranged two bikes for us to use. Within biking/walking distance to the Centre Ville and the Sainte Cécile cathedral, the quiet neighborhood (and nearby golf course, Tarn river, and sleepy country roads and fields) offers a relaxing atmosphere. Marie-Claire was sweet and generous with her time and knowledge of the area and its history.

Nicolas's home is a small corner of paradise lost. all along the Tarn you can admire the fishing herons and kingfishers from morning to night! a great view, a very quiet area. The house is functional, there is everything you need for a weekend with friends. The rooms are open between them are lacking a bit of privacy but the charm of the place make you quickly forget this detail. I recommend very highly and hope to return one day!

It was immaculately clean and well appointed with some views over the neighbouring roofs onto Albi heritage architecture. We highly recommend it.

It was all in order in the apartment, Marie-Jose picked us up in the parking lot as we previously indicated parking possibilities. The apartment is very central and the had everything we needed.

My husband and I stayed in Albi as a base, as we were exploring the region for retirement options. This apartment is gorgeous! The space is large, comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The neighbourhood is quiet, located steps away from restaurants, bars, cafés and local attractions. We stayed 7 nights and never needed the car when we stayed in Albi. The free parking is just a short walk away, not inconvenient at all. The host, Marie-José, was easy to communicate with, and gave us lots of great info about the area when we met her at check in. The bathroom is spacious and there's lots of hot water. The kitchen is well appointed, but small and dark with a seating arrangement that didn't appeal to me and my husband, but we didn't cook anyway, so it was easy to avoid. (The table is a counter style one, pushed up against the wall, with 2 stools.) The bedding and towels are lush and comfortable. The bed is also comfortable, with an extra blanket provided, if needed. The washing machine was much appreciated, as we'd been on the road for awhile when we arrived in Albi! This place is a must if you're in Albi. We will be returning as soon as possible!

A lovely little mid century house very close to the centre of Albi. The house has everything you need, although there is no freezer, so do not go buying ice-cream on your first trip to the supermarket! The hosts were friendly and helpful. The house is just a short stroll to the center of Albi and short drive to the freeway to get to the beautiful countryside surrounding Alib. It is also a 1min stroll to shops, chemist, pizza place! The house suited us perfectly, we came for a bike race and there was plenty of space to store all our gear and a good washing machine to was all our sweaty kit!

You really can't get a better location in Albi than this beautiful flat; the cathedral is quite literally just steps away. The view from the top floor bedroom is spectacular, and the whole thing is spacious and comfortable. Myriam was there to welcome us and made the whole process super easy. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in town.

The house is fantastic, very tasteful remodeling. The beds are good and the showers great! We had a good stay, with the kids as well, enjoyed the livelihood of the city center and the good restaurant tips Myriam gave us. For the hot nights(hot summer!) we had the fans which were put to use. Myriam was a good host. Albi is a very nice town, and the surroundings are great to discover. Merci beaucoup Myriam!

What a wonderful place to stay right in the heart of Albi. If you like old and new, this is the place for you. Literally steps away from the Cathedral, shops and restaurants are everywhere. I have been using Airbnb for two years, and I think this is the best apartment I have stay so far. When we arrive Myriam help us with everything,she is a very good host. She guide us personally to the turist information and help us with the car. She respond all the messages in a very short period of time. The apartment is very spacious and the interior design is beautiful. All look new. The kitchen has everything you need and the common space is confortable. All the beds and pillows are perfect to sleep. And the shower and bathrooms are excellent ( like an hotel of 5 stars) The ubication is central, from the window of the last floor you can see the cathedral. At night is quiet and there is a lot of restaurants near the house. I recommend it 100%

We spent 7 days at the poolside gite just outside Albi and had a fantastic, memorable holiday. Our host Geraldine could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The property was exactly as described if not better and we would definitely visit again. The location was perfect and the town of Albi was very close by with great things to see and do. If you are looking for a real 'provence' experience, Geraldines pool house is a super address! Crickets in the yard, vineyards wherever you see, a wonderful pool and great wine in the fridge... We were travelling with our 3 kids (not a simple task by any means) and they felt right at home in the nice little house, they enjoyed the pool, the horses next door and (sorry Geraldine) picked all the plums in the garden... (I think they were very very noisy too) Needless to say that Geraldine is a very nice & cool host, her house is amazing (envy envy envy) and the paitings of her father make the whole experience unforgettable. We will be back for sure !!

Staying at the Mailhourie poolhouse is the ultimate way of relaxing. A lovely appartment for 2 (more is possible, but would be a bit tight), and a great swimmingpool!! This one is really the greatest, but there is also a lot of outdoor activities to do in the area. Geraldine is a great help in advising the surroundings and a pleasant host.

We had a wonderful time at La Malhourie. The house is small, but has eveything you need. The outside is just amazing, waking up I always immidiately threw the windows open to let the morning breeze in and enjoy the view. The pool is superb, the vacuum had some issues when we arrived, but once that was solved it kept everything tidy which was very nice. The region is great; we visited a winery, Albi (marche couvert and cathedral are nice), Jardin des Martels, Cordes sur Ciel (a must!) and went to the fete des vins in Gaillac. Geraldine is a lovely host, we could ask her anything.

The pictures are an accurate reflection of the cottage we had a great week. Geraldine gave us a great welcome and the pool is really beautiful and fully available to guests.

I cannot express how beautiful this place is! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the gite was in a beautiful location and was extremely clean and comfortable. Geraldine was very accommodating and on hand to answer any questions we had as well as giving us some suggestions of places to visit which was so helpful and enabled us to see some incredible places. A car is essential in order to benefit fully from the surrounding areas but everything is within an hours drive and is definitely worth it.

This is a beautiful apartment spotlessly clean as we found when we arrived. Everything is well laid out, and it's very quiet. A really nice place to vacation. A little flat, you have a 10-15 minute walk into the center of Albi. The more that goes with it: you can park easily on the street and it's free (which would be more complicated for an apartment closer to the center). We retain this address and we recommend it.

The apartment is perfect for two people. Clean, modern and cozy. Although it is true that it is glued to the tracks of the train between the eight and the ten of the night passed a single train and is not listened to too much. At night we heard nothing and slept from the pull. Has outside parking space next to the portal. It was not Nadine and we were greeted by her son Christophe who is so majestic, and explained everything very well from home and how to get downtown and what to see. It does not take ten minutes walking to the center (cathedral, museum tolouse lautrec, old bridge ...) Definitely a very good option to stay in Albi.

It is a very comfortable, impeccable and quality apartment. Due to its location, it is less than 5 minutes from the historic center, shops and the train station, which allows not to use its vehicle because all car parks pay in the city center.
