“A solid place to get American food like burgers and chops. They use locally sourced ingredients and have an expansive beer menu. Solid food and lively atmosphere. Be prepared to wait if it’s high season. ”

New American Restaurant

“Hands down one of our favorite restaurants for dinner. Reservations are necessary but walk-ins can be taken at the bar or chef’s table”

Pizza Place
$$
“The OG flatbread pizza in the area. Often a wait but get there early and get a table. One of our favorites is the dancing heart pizza for its simplicity and nutty flavor but it's not for everyone. The punctuated equilibrium flatbread is a safer bet as well as the specials they have each day. Also enjoy the great beer selection, bar and huge tables you can reserve for your party if you wish.”

“If you've never been, you should do it at least once. Long waits pass quickly hanging out by the fire and playing in the field. Lareau Farm is both a restaurant and event venue, and is always packed because the food is worth it. Do not be fooled by the frozen product in grocery stores - it's no longer even related to this place. Get there early. Thursday-Sunday only.”

Bed & Breakfast

“For a comfort-food meal after a big day outdoors, the Hyde Away is a great place to eat. In the bar you can eat by the fireplace, or instead you can eat on the restaurant side. Either way, the large menu has something for everyone, including very generous steaks!”

“What a place, it is a drive from Stowe, but if you are visiting Shelburne Farms, which you should, put this on your list. I absolutely love this little gem. Run by a French family, authentic wood fired bakery, it is a true delight. They are serving dinner, but make sure you check their schedule, they have odd hours. ”
