  • If you’re ready for the most charming, gorgeous accommodations with free parking, wi-fi, honor bar (Dad’s Hat Rye Whisky is incredible!) and the most thoughtful, home-cooked breakfast (thanks Nicole!) along with a gracious host (Lisa!) that responds immediately, look no further. I had a great stay on the lower floor in the Schuyler room, with bright, bay windows and an in-room, real gas stove fireplace w/remote! Can’t wait to go back.

The Secret Room is craftily tucked behind a pivoting bookcase; just like a mystery story or a haunted house. Pushing the bookcase allows access to the special place with books spanning all genres relating to secret places. The east-facing window allows bright morning light and you may even hear the rooster crow from two doors down. Keep it a secret and let the other guests wonder where the voices are doming from!
The living room has an original stone wall, a fireplace, piano and specifically chosen furniture to relax in. In the back, steps lead to a path to Aquetong Creek. Expect to hear the natural spring-fed creek and a variety of songbirds there. Only a short walk into town for dining, live performances, galleries and nightlife. Continental breakfast Mon-Fri mornings and a brunch-like spread on Saturdays and Sundays are from 9-10:30. Coffee and tea counter are always available. Everything is prepared using fresh, locally grown ingredients. As much as possible, we use solar-powered yard lighting, natural, organic cleaning products and battery-powered equipment. This large Room features a king size bed, sunny bay window, private bathroom with stall shower on the second floor. Sitting area complete with desk and cable/TV and free Wi-Fi. Onsite free parking and coffee/tea with homemade baked goods available for breakfast. This room is in the Jane Austen Wing of the stone building which was a gentleman's farmhouse in the 1800's. We call it the "Mr Darcy Room" because the 2 acre property is a romantic setting & the room is large with Countryside paintings.
Nice light bright room with King bed and desk and a very relaxing feel.
This is 1/2 mile to the center of New Hope on easy to walk on sidewalks. Attractions like the old fashioned steam train and fabulous restaurants and art galleries are even closer. However, the Fox and Hound is on 2 landscaped acres of property so it has a nice relaxing country feel even while being close to town. Free parking.

Located steps from the vibrant village square of New Hope, Pa and Lambertville, NJ (across the Free Bridge), this lovely accommodation is on 2 acres of tall trees and flowering gardens. The park like grounds feature a Covered Bridge,2 Gazebos, wrought iron lawn furniture & privacy. We are located in the New Hope National Historic District. Our buildings are on the National Historic Register because these grounds served as a bivuac site for General George Washington and 1400 Continental soldiers for the 3 weeks leading to the famous Christmas Eve crossing of the Delaware River in 1776. The internationally known Washington Crossing State Park is only a mile away. Our buildings also served as a safe haven on the Bucks County Underground Railroad network in the mid 1800 s.
  • Lovely place. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast was good. Loved the fireplace in the room. Kept it nice and cozy. Great location, within walking distance to main street and Lambertville. Easy drive to Peddlers Village.

  • This was by far the best place to stay in New Hope! It’s far enough away from the main streets that you feel the privacy of the home, but close enough that everything is in walking distance ! We stayed one quick night and the hosts were amazing! I don’t eat eggs or dairy and the staff made sure I was completely stuffed with their dairy alternatives for me! I did not expect that! We loved our stay, we really can’t wait to return!

    Marlena2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in the heart of the charming New Hope

    Nadia2019-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were warm and friendly. They did not hover but were available to chat and give great advice on the area. Breakfast was delicious the homemade granola, quiche and blueberry muffins- I ate more than I wanted. The home is beautiful-the decor so warm and cozy - we didn’t want to leave and we can’t wait to come back for another romantic weekend.

  • The Aaron Burr House far exceeded any expectations I had for my first B&B and will be difficult to top. Lisa has such an incredible and warm personality and was such a pleasure to chat with. She gave us fantastic recommendations for places to eat, drink and listen to music. On top of all that, the breakfast she served us was amazing and her baked goods are simply to die for! As for the house itself, it was neat, clean and full of historical charm. We stayed in the Hamilton room which was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. Lisa regaled us with lots of fun historical facts too which really made the stay even more interesting. All of the rooms were lovely and the common spaces were very comfortable and quaint. The house was perfectly located to walk around New Hope or explore across the river in Lambertville. There’s a place to rent bikes about a mile up the road and then you can hop on the canal trails for a nice loop (ask Lisa for her recommendation because she was spot on). I would highly recommend a stay here.

House was clean and the other tenants were quiet. We had every accommodation we needed for an enjoyable stay. We couldn’t recommend the Aaron Burr house enough!

  • House is beautiful and cozy. Very close to Main Street making for an easy walk to and from. We honestly didn’t spend much time at the house, but if we would have had more time we definitely would have!

  • Lisa deserves 5 stars on everything! This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and we were very pleased. One of the other guests told me that this is the best b&b they have ever stayed at. She said that the Aaron Burr House spoils them when compared to other B&Bs. We will be back!

    Sue2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed in several bed and breakfasts in the New Hope area, but Aaron Burr House may be my new favorite. The house was renovated when the current owner acquired it, and it is beautiful and homey. I hate to write a glowing review for fear of it being fully booked the next time I want to stay there, but it really was a wonderful stay. The common room has a COMFORTABLE couch, not one of those antique ones that look pretty but are miserable to sit on. The mattress and bedding were top notch. The house was spotless. Lisa is a gourmet chef, and breakfast (for a very nominal fee) was scrumptious!! I have some dietary restrictions and she accommodated me perfectly. I'll be back!

    Sue2019-11-07T00:00:00Z

  • This place is amazing. The pool and fire pit are wonderful amenities, and the rooms and beds are comfortable and super clean. The third-floor suite is huge, although two of the second-floor bedrooms are quite small. As it is an 18th century farmhouse, there are some creaks and squeaks, so you will hear others moving around the house and preparing breakfast in the kitchen. Breakfast is delicious and artfully prepared, with menus prepared according to guests food needs and allergies, etc. Ed and Sherri live there on the grounds and provide wonderful hospitality, with helpful suggestions about local activities and shops, etc.

  • Galvanized America is a lovely, well-appointed & charming inn in close proximity to New Hope/Lambertville/Doylestown. The inn is airy and light, the en suite bathrooms are sparkling clean (two have wonderful, deep claw-foot bathtubs) and everything you need is provided for without having to ask (but I’m sure if you asked for something Sherri & Ed would get right on it). The mattresses are comfortably firm with 100% pima cotton linens; bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and robes are provided and are soft & fluffy. The property is the perfect place to curl up (inside or outside) with a good book. You can take a relaxing swim in their in-ground pool or watch TV in the common area. There’s a great old tavern a short distance away if you’re looking for a cocktail & a bite. The breakfast provided at the inn is delicious (one morning we had lemon zest pancakes with homemade blueberry sauce) and the coffee is good (an absolutely necessity for us) and plentiful. I almost don’t want to write a public review because I’d like to keep this place a secret, but Sherri & Ed are so good at what they do and so welcoming that other people should jump at the chance to unwind here. We will definitely stay here again!

  • The location was perfect with the wedding venue nearby! Ed and Sherri’s attention to details that made our stay perfect were much appreciated - from the wine and cheese when we arrived to the delicious breakfast in the morning that accommodated our food allergy needs. This is a true bed and breakfast appointed with Ed’s fabulous art work. We highly recommend a stay here!

  • This home is so quaint and The top floor suite is incredible. The art work and the comfy beds and the decor and the amazing hospitality made our stay special

  • This place is amazing. You're renting out an entire legit Bed and Breakfast, meaning each bedroom has it's own private entrance and bathroom, and breakfast made by the hosts is included every morning. Sherri and Ed are so nice and were helpful with everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing. The house itself is over 200 years old and has all the charm of an old farmhouse but has all the modern amenities you could want - tons of outlets, wifi and even good phone service, central AC with controls in each suite, modern bathrooms (some with rainfall shower heads, some with large soaking tubs), comfy beds. The pool is actually better than it looks in the photos with a deep end and a pond nearby where you can hear bullfrogs at night. Sherri and Ed are very friendly and helpful, breakfast service was attentive and they had some great suggestions for our friends who wanted to visit local wineries. The location is wonderful, it's near to town but far enough away to feel like an escape. Overall, this place is wonderful and a great value.

Our Royal Room is our coziest in the inn. In fact, the private bathroom with tub & shower, is slightly larger than the bedroom. Decorated in with traditional bedding, quilt, bureau and fittings, it is royalty with royal blue accents. The vanity is sizable and there is additional seating for dressing. This room is at the top left of the stairs and out the south window looks over the deck and the other out onto the street. Just outside the door is our main bookcase.
• What a magical stay we had. My girlfriend I decided to spend the weekend in New Hope and booked what turned out to be the coziest, warmest, most romantic weekend we could have ever wished for. Scott and Michael were incredible hosts. The room and place was charming, beautiful, and perfect. A 20 minute walk from new-hope proper, it's a beautiful stroll along streams and coal-engined train tracks into town. Breakfasts were wonderful with chocolate-chip pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fresh coffee were just some of the things on the menu. The fireplace was truly incredible too. Could not reccomend this place enough and can't wait to come back.

The best part of the Country Room is the peaked stone wall from the original farm house built in the 1840s. Add to that the exposed beams across the room and the old floor lamp as country aspects of this charming old room. One window faces east for morning light and the neighbor's rooster make wake you early. The antique wardrobe is sizable enough for hanging clothes and has multiple drawers. There is an old step stool/ironing board and other items from eras past to enrichen the country-ness.

The Fox and Hound B&B is close to art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining, and parks. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the light, and the coziness. All lodging in Bucks County has a 5% county tax that is paid on your arrival.

The Attic Room spreads across the entire length of the original farm house. A narrow spiral stair from the second floor opens to the sitting room on the right and the bedroom on the left. The bedroom window faces east for the morning sun and you may even hear the neighbor's rooster. Natural wood planks across the ceiling peaks give the rooms a rich, warm feeling. Ample carpeting and heavy rugs make the Attic Room cozy. Very tall individuals may feel cramped, hobbit-sized ones fit perfectly.

  • Scott and Michael are amazing hosts. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and the inn is a perfect place for a get away too. The rooms are comfortable, and surprisingly private for a B&B/inn, all with private baths. The room I stayed in, the Wish Room, was ideal for me. The bed was cozy and comfortable, and there was plenty of room to feel “at home” too. The location is also great, with easy access to New Hope and Lambertville right over the bridge in NJ. I have stayed in many places around the world, and the Wishing Well Inn is a keeper for me, I’ll be back.

  • I usually don’t write reviews but this one deserves it! The Aaron Burr House is the perfect pick for your stay in New Hope. It is an adorable historic bed and breakfast nestled only a couple blocks from the heart of town. (You absolutely cannot beat the location. Within walking distance you have access to everything both New Hope and Lambertville have to offer.) We were greeted by the inn keepers who showed us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. The room and inn were not only beautiful but also super clean and very comfortable. Our room included all the necessary amenities, including private bath and shower with towels, hair dryer, extra toilet paper, and soap/shampoo. There were extra blankets in the dresser. I was very happy about having a TV with all the channels - it was nice to lay in bed after a long day of exploring and fall asleep to a movie. Our room even had a working fire place. Great communication with the hosts - very quick response time! I needed a iron and within minutes they brought an iron and ironing board to my door. Upon arrival we noticed a welcome letter including local suggestions along with complementary candies and water on the night stand. We had all the privacy we needed despite other guests being present. Everyone was very respectful of each other. There is a fully stocked coffee nook downstairs complete with a fridge we used for left overs. Upstairs they have a communal living and dining space (snacks available). Plenty of outdoor space to relax on nice days. And the bed was SUPER comfy. Small town charm with big time hospitality. They even gave us late check out - we stayed till noon free of charge. We didn’t even inquire about late check out till 10:30 (30 minutes till typical check out time and they were VERY flexible!) HIGHLY recommend, will definitely be back the next time I visit New Hope! Was exactly what I was hoping for and more. So far I’m 2 for 2 on getting incredible places through AirBnb :) thanks for making our trip so amazing!

  • We loved our stay at the historic Aaron Burr House Bed & Breakfast. It is such a charming, elegant and clean home. The innkeeper Lisa goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. She’s also a talented chef, so make sure to have breakfast. Mmmm... 💗 The location on Bridge St. is perfect! We simply parked our car Friday afternoon and walked to all the shops, restaurants and over the bridge into Lambertville. This find is such a gem! If you get the opportunity, you must stay here. We can’t wait to return!

The Fox and Hound B&B is close to art and culture, great views, restaurants and dining, and parks. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the light, and the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and big groups. You can also see more details on the Fox and Hound Bed and Breakfast website.
There is onsite free parking. The Fox and Hound Bed and Breakfast is an historic manor and was voted Most Romantic Escape in Bucks County. It has a nice caring vibe and the house is uniquely decorated with a slight nod to Victorian times.
This is an historic manor on 2 landscaped acres with a country feel yet walking distance to downtown New Hope with all its shops, restaurants, live music, river and general fun!
  • They have parking and it is an easy walk to New Hope. That is huge as parking in New Hope is horrific

  • Perfect location to go to town and a nice place to stay

    Kyle2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice old home with modern touches. I really enjoyed the second floor sitting and dining area. An open airy room with lots of windows. Our room was comfortable; I slept well although the air conditioner fan tends to be loud, (most notable during the night) it was a hot time during our stay and the room got uncomfortably warm if we did not keep the unit running in automatic. It did provide good temperature control. The location of the Aaron Burr house in wonderfully convenient to New Hope and Lambertville, NJ, which a short walk across the bridge over the river. Lisa is an interesting and engaging host. We would like to visit again.
