St Clements Cottage is a charming cabin situated on the picturesque Butterfactory Lane, approximately nine kilometres from Oberon town centre. It is set amongst six acres of a family owned property where stunning English gardens meet rustic tablelands countryside. About two and a half hours from Sydney, the Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Gardens and the historical town of Hartley are all within a short driving distance of St Clements Cottage.
It is the ideal lodging for one to two couples who are exploring the area or in need of accommodation whilst attending a local wedding or event. Located next to the main farm house, it is a well presented and quaint cottage that caters for modern comfort, is environmentally efficient and well insulated. You will find it to be cool in summer and warm in the typically cold Oberon winter season. The sizeable queen bedroom features a heated towel rail and electric blanket. A slow combustion fireplace warms the open plan living area, the bathroom is freshly renovated and the kitchenette is fully equipped with a microwave, kettle and toaster. The front porch is the perfect setting for a morning cuppa. Fresh towels, linen and hot water bottles are provided. There is a plentiful supply of firewood and there are flyscreens on all windows and the front door. Breakfast provisions including toast, muesli, fruit & yoghurt, coffee, tea & juice are provided. Take a stroll around the tranquil surroundings, listen to the bubbling brooks and the neighbouring cattle, admire the cool climate organic vegetable garden, catch a glimpse of the resident platypus in the creek, breathe in the crisp country air and take in the magnificent sunsets over the rolling hills.
  • A beautiful location to relax, really lovely hosts and we’d forgotten how many stars are in the night sky away from Sydney

  • I had a very relaxing stay at this gorgeous little red cottage. I enjoyed snuggling up to the fire and reading and watching a great movie (provided by the hosts). The cottage itself is a little bigger than it seems in the photos, but not too big, in that it still keeps cosy and toasty. The property itself is lovingly landscaped and a joy to wonder around, with lots of lovely sitting spots to enjoy the serenity. Karen and David are the perfect hosts, having thought of everything you need and are happy to oblige you with tips and advice for the area. If you want a relaxing weekend away in a beautiful location away from the hub-hub...then this is the place!

*As featured in ‘Individual’ by Jessica Bellef (published by Murdoch Books)* Bimlow Cottage is a historic 1890's rural property on the doorstep of the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Garden, Waldara and Kanangra-Boyd National Park.
Located in Edith, a rural village halfway between Jenolan Caves and Oberon, Bimlow Cottage is a welcoming three bedroom home surrounded by picturesque farmland and rolling streams. Escape for a relaxing weekend next to our cosy wood fire. In winter, we often get snow. Read a book by the fire or enjoy playing board games. In spring visit one of the many beautiful gardens, including Mayfield Garden and Hillandale Garden or go trout fishing in the river or Lake Oberon. In summer, pack a picnic and bushwalk in nearby Kanangra-Boyd National Park and swim in the river or under a waterfall. In late summer and autumn, go mushroom picking in the nearby pine forests and cook up a feast! Bimlow Cottage offers you the opportunity to relax and unwind, enjoy nature and connect fully with your friends and family. There is no TV but internet is available. If you have Instagram, follow us @bimlowcottage.
Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Gardens, Kanangra-Boyd National Park, Waldara and the Blue Mountains are all close by. Edith has public land where guests can enjoy a game of tennis or cricket with access to picnic tables.
  • Georgie place is a great place to unwind with nature 🌻 The whole family are great hosts, we just loved our stay The outdoors, plenty of space, colours, 🌺farm animals 🐑 rhubarb and i can not leave out our farming golfing 🏌️‍♂️ experience, loads of fun😃 & we will all be back to visit again soon Great spot nice atmosphere Fiona C. :-)

  • We stayed at Bimlow cottage for a wedding close by. The area is so scenic and a wonderful get away from the busy city. Georgie went all out with little touches to make us feel extra welcome like fresh eggs and bread so we could make breakfast! The home is designed beautifully and every corner has character. With no tv, but board games and a fireplace, I would definitely recommend staying here for a romantic couples weekend away!

    Riana2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Georgie’s historic cottage is so cosy and beautiful. She has clearly put her stunning personal taste and amazing collecting abilities to good use in the decorating of Bimlow. We were welcomed with a lovely selection of local produce and fresh eggs from her chooks for breakfast, great home brewed coffee and a warm and comfortable set of beds for a good nights sleep. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully for an extra long weekend so we could explore the area even further. A walk around Edith, a trip to Oberon and lunch at the Argyle Inn at nearby Taralga made for lots of things to keep us busy between games of cards and drinks in front of the fire at Bimlow. The property is friendly too, my three year old loved his country weekender!

    Danielle2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Georgie was an absolute delight as was her home. The little touches lent so much farmhouse charm. There was everything you could need and the bread and eggs from the farm really added that little something that made the stay feel extra special. The dog is adorable...just a warning though, she knows how to let herself in and out so don’t get a fright if you find a visitor in the kitchen. Highly recommend.

    Susan2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Bimlow Cottage is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Oberon.

    Brooke2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible cottage with great hosts. Georgie had the fire going upon our arrival and fresh produce was provided for breakfast. The area offers great hikes and trips for exploring, or get comfy and play board games all weekend in a cottage you don't want to leave!

    Bob2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • A delightful piece of Australian history. Many vintage pieces made this cottage a step into the past, but of course some modern updates.

    Ellie2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Bimlow Cottage is a dream. A beautifully presented and cosy cottage. Perfectly located for a wedding we attended at Waldara Farm. Beds were so comfortable. Georgie was really helpful in the lead up to our stay. Fresh bread, delicious beetroot relish, and fresh eggs were a delightful touch. We really couldn't fault this stay! Thanks Georgie! Loved it!

Hickory Moon is a fully self-contained house overlooking the beautiful Tarana valley. Private, luxurious and peaceful Oberon 5 mins Waldara Wedding Venue 20 mins Mayfield Garden 20 mins Lithgow & Bathurst 45 mins Katoomba 1 hour King size beds, cast iron baths, all new appliances and organic cotton bedding are features of the home. A fantastic, quiet location to relax and unwind with friends or family. Luxury in the Australian bush.
Whilst we do have a minimum 2 night stay there are times we can accommodate a single night stay. Please message me for availability of single night stays. The kitchen is equipped with brand new quality cookware and utensils, wine glasses, crockery, cutlery and basics such as olive oil, salt and pepper, coffee, tea and sugar, There are two smart TVs. One in the open plan living area and one in the Eastern bedroom. All linen (bedding, doonas, towels and tea towels) is supplied. There are two bedrooms, both with king size beds and cast-iron baths situated to take advantage of the spectacular views. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite and the Eastern bedroom has the extra luxury of a double shower. There is a third bathroom that is designed to be used by any guests using the sofa bed in the living room. The house does not have any steps. We have a fully equipped laundry with a washing machine, dryer and a clothesline. There is an outdoor BBQ area and this too, is situated facing the breathtaking views to the north. The bedrooms and the living room all face north and the huge glass windows in each room means guests never miss an opportunity to gaze at the mesmerizing and picturesque views. In the living room you can sink into the soft and luxurious leather lounge or get cosy on one of the two large snuggle chairs. Settle in at night with a wine, turn all the lights off and gaze at the twinkling lights of Bathurst to the West. Take full advantage of the lack of light pollution and look up and marvel at the Milky Way. There are books in the bookcase that are now looking for new homes so pick one up and wander outside to one of the Adirondack chairs and settle in for a relaxing read. If the winter snow hits and you can’t get outside there are board games to play. We have everything you need to enjoy your stay including, as one guest commented "the freshest air in Australia”. Please note, we have one external security camera which is focused on the adjacent shed and property driveway. This is the only security camera on the property. Please note the following when making your booking: Whilst you do have exclusive use of the house, use of the bedrooms and en-suites is restricted depending on the number of guests paid for. To ensure the correct amount is charged,we request that you make your booking based on the number of beds you require. Please apply the following booking procedure when making your booking, regardless of actual guest numbers: If you need 1 bedroom/en-suite – book for 2 guests If you need 2 bedrooms/en-suites – book for 4 guests If you need 2 bedrooms /sofa bed/3 en-suites – book for 6 guests When making your booking you can include in your message the actual number of guests.
Hickory Moon is one thousand one hundred and seventy five metres above sea level which means in winter we get snow. Sometimes we get falls so heavy the roads will not be trafficable and you may have to stay an extra night/s. If this does happen, we will not charge you for the extra night/s. It is not common to be ‘snowed in’ for more than a day or so. The Oberon area boasts many attractions including Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls, and Mayfield garden …even if you are not into gardening Mayfield is not to be missed. There are plenty of lovely tourist drives to do and villages with excellent pubs for lunch or dinner. Further afield you have Leura and Katoomba an hour to the East, Lithgow and Bathurst just 45 minutes away. Taralga to the South and Orange and Millthorpe to the West, are great to visit for a day trip. There are a variety of dining options from the café at Mayfield, the two local pubs, the RSL club, an excellent Chinese restaurant and various other local eateries in Oberon. The two supermarkets in Oberon are well equipped if you want supplies to cook your own feast at Hickory Moon.
  • This house is absolutely spectacular!! Its extremely clean and has everything you could possibly think of. We will be back for sure!! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Maxine.

  • This place is amazing .The atmosphere has such a romantic feel and is perfect for a couples weekend .

    Saskia2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Honestly The photos on air bnb don’t do it justice, woke up every morning in the comfiest bed you’ll ever feel in your life to the most beautiful scenery. Maxine was amazing, she and her husband were so incredibly nice and helpful! The house was sparkling clean, and had some beautiful touches that made it so unique. I can promise you now You won’t get this type of experience at a 5 star hotel My partner and I will definitely be back for our anniversary and hopefully for the snow

    Janice2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • At Hickory Moon we received courteous and prompt communication from Maxine. The design of the house and thoughtful furnishings provided for our full immersion in the uninterrupted view of the countryside. I didn’t realise how tense I was until I sat outside in the absolute quietness and listened to the silence. We spent 5 nights in this extraordinary house at its extraordinary location. Oh, and the sheep were entertaining each evening and morning. Hickory Moon provided isolation at a location that is actually close to good food, coffee and local produce... and for us the cars at Bathurst. The house is fully screened so you don’t need to worry about bugs and critters, and it is completely level, with access from the garage straight into the house via a glass walkway. I better stop writing, but Hickory Moon is sensational, and I’m not sure where else you get this experience for such good dollar value.

  • Absolutely stunning and idyllic property! Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an idyllic luxury property with a panoramic view.

    Christopher2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Maxine’s place was amazing to say the least. As soon as my partner and I walked through the door, our jaws dropped with the view! The pictures definitely don’t do this place justice. From the bathtub in the bedroom, the amazing views in every room and the double shower, everything was just so luxurious and relaxing! My partner and I could barely get out of the bed because we were in such a relaxed state. Maxine gave us some great recommendations to visit in the area and was quick to respond. The check in and check out was incredibly easy and she gave us simple instruction to reach the place which made it very easy to find. Want to commend Maxine for building such a gorgeous home with such thoughtful touches! Definitely want to come back during the snowy seasons.

  • Great Space and Quaint A really pleasant and welcoming dwelling that immediately relaxes you upon entry. Being such a cold environment, the house is well equipped to combat the cold. Use the open fire, the heaters and simply relax. If you are going to barbecue out the back, be smart and do it while you have some of the day's warmth; it is really chilly out there at night. Emjoy

  • We had a very cosy and comfortable stay here. The interior of the house was spotless clean and stylishly renovated. The combination of the oil heaters, indoor fireplace and electric blankets meant we felt the full warmth of Jessica's hospitality!

  • The cottage is amazing, sparkling clean, comfortable and close to the shops. Jess went above and beyond the definition of Superhost! She even helped us get a local babysitter for an event that we had to attend to. Very friendly and helpful, what more can you ask for. Thanks again Jess, we had a very memorable stay.

  • We absolutely loved our stay here! We spent our days at Jenolan caves and came back to warm up by the fire (with the firewood kindly provided) and cooked our own dinner. Bathroom was well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner and there was a hair dryer and hair straightener too! Very clean, easy to find! Highly recommend!

    Jem2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely stay at Pine Needle Cottage! It has been beautifully renovated inside, with new furnishings and very comfortable beds - and there is plenty of space! The location is wonderful - we were visiting for the annual Oberon Rodeo, and it’s a short walk to both the Showground and the shops / restaurants. A particular highlight of our stay was sitting out on the back veranda, either having coffee in the morning or enjoying a beer in the afternoon - it’s a lovely space, and very peaceful. Jessica is a lovely host, prompt communication and provided all the information in advance. We had a lovely stay and I’ve already recommended it to a friend heading to Oberon in a few weeks time! Thanks Jessica!

  • Margaret and Grant were just so lovely ! We were greeted by Grant at the roadblock due to the recent fires and floods who led us to their hidden gem Magestic View Cottages. The view of the Blue Mountain Ridges was magnificent where ever you stood on the property ! And our highlight were the Roos who frequent the property, they were pretty much there all the time ! Highly recommended and would come back in a heartbeat !

Mountain View Tiny House is a new construction with a fresh bright airy feel. You will enjoy the sweeping views of our farm, bush land below and Blue Mountains in the distance. Wallabies, wombats and the many species of birds make this an ideal place to relax. The farm animals also add to the atmosphere giving you a taste of the country experience. It is also close to iconic Jenolan Caves, inspirational Mayfield Garden. Lithgow has many interesting attractions and festivals to explore.
The Tiny House is located on our farm and approximately 50 meters away from the house. You will have your own separate and private space. You will have the use of a BBQ and fire pit (fire restrictions will apply) so that you can relax while taking in the view. Gaze at the stars while laying in bed through the skylight window. Note: There is a short amount of gravel road after turning off Jenolan Caves Rd and the driveway to the property is also gravel.
There are many things that will meet your interests: * bird watching from the window or door, * bush walks, * Jenolan Caves, * fishing and visiting the Blue Mountains. * The Halfway Hotel is only 400 metres away. Come and meet the friendly locals, have a drink and a meal. * The Tin Shed in Lithgow is a good place for brunch and coffee. * I can highly recommend visiting the Blast Furnace historic site and Lake Pillions which is also on the same site. Take a picnic and enjoy the tranquility. Clean toilets are also on site.
  • We had a lovely break, we felt refreshed and rejuvenated leaving. Beautiful space with everything thought of and extremely cosy. Fabulous views.

  • Highly recommend Tracey’s place. The place itself is very cosy and offers a beautiful outlook. Tracey was kind enough to allow a late check out, which was greatly appreciated. Winter, Tracey’s dog, is also adorable.

  • Can’t recommend this place highly enough. The house is gorgeous, the views are stunning and Tracey is a wonderful host. The location was ideal for our trip to the Jenolan Caves.

  • This tiny home has everything you need for a quick getaway for two. Tracey has built a well throughout tiny home with everything you need. Beautiful views right from the front door. Winter is a friendly dog who loves a good pat. Would definitely recommend to others. There is a TV and would advise on bringing your own HDMI cable and laptop to play movies, stream services, etc or choose from a selection of DVDs that's there.

  • I cannot fault any part of our stay at Tracey's Mountainside Tiny House. The space was absolutely wonderful, fresh, clean, comfortable and with beautiful views to wake up to. The location is completely idyllic, peaceful and nature filled. Tracey was a great host, very easy to communicate with before and during our stay, check in and out was seamless. My only complaint is that two nights wasn't long enough! Thank you so much for having us Tracey, please give Winter another stroke from us.

You'll have the cottage all to yourself. All the modern conveniences with old world charm. The cottage is a 15 minute drive to Mayfield Gardens, half hour to Jenolan Caves and 35 minutes to Mount Panorama in Bathurst. Day trip itineraries provided. If you're more inclined to relax by the fire there are heaps of books, dvd's and games.
Oberon is a quaint little village with NO traffic lights !! Some fantastic cafes and local stores. There's trout fishing in the nearby rivers and in Oberon Dam. Go gold panning or head to the nearby pine forests and go mushroom picking (during Autumn). Nearby is Evans Crown - a fantastic bushwalking experience - with a well defined path curling in and around some magnificent huge rocks. Its not too far to Kanangra-Boyd National Park for more amazing views and more bushwalking (maybe pack a picnic).

  • Without Question the most perfect getaway. The accomodation itself was everything you’d expect it to be and HAD everything from Toiletries to Salt, Pepper, Oil etc. The Kangaroos, just casually hopping around were a highlight. Plenty of birds, bunnies and the smell of nature was revitalising. Already planning to come back with family and have them book the neighbouring cabins. Don’t doubt booking, just do it.

'Always' is a peaceful and comfortable haven set in a beautiful garden close to the village of Oberon. It is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the area, attend a wedding or catch up with family or friends.
A continental breakfast is served in the morning. In the warmer weather there is an outdoor, heated spa and in winter the room is cosy and warm with heating and an electric blanket. You have your own connected bathroom.
There are many things to do and see in the area. There is the Kanangra Boyd National Park with wonderful walking tracks, Mayfield Gardens, with their restaurant and Water Gardens all year round, and the entire garden open to the public in Spring and Autumn (see their website for dates. There is mushrooming and fossicking, an excellent golf course, a beautiful lake with surrounding walks, cycling tracks, a heritage railway, to name just a few places to explore and activities.
  • Janet and her son Adrien went above and beyond to accommodate my partner and I and we felt so welcome in Janet's beautiful home. Janet cooked us an incredible hearty dinner and also provided us breakfast for the two days - what an great bonus! The room is private and cosy with a big comfortable bed that looks out to the garden. We were provided with a chess board and cards and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and unwinding at the country home. Janet's garden is spectacular and she's a wealth of knowledge in so many fascinating topics. Adrien takes incredible photos which you can see on the walls of the bedroom, he was also kind enough to show us more of his impressive work and we loved getting the chance to spend a night getting to know him and the amazing Janet! I cannot recommend staying here more!

On the edge of the Blue Mountains, near Waldara, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra NP, Bathurst, Mt Panorama & Mayfield Gardens. Arlamont is the perfect homebase to explore and unwind in the glorious Central Tablelands. You’ll find comfort, warmth and privacy with 260 acres of stunning views surrounding a house brimming with history. Suited to couples, families and groups. Books, games, wildlife, a sky full of stars and pure mountain air awaiting your arrival. Only 2 hours, but a world away from Sydney.
Firstly, space, there's lots of it! On the ground and in the sky. Surrounding the house, you'll find 260 acres of pristine, rolling valleys, which truly show off the ever-changing region. You will look upon the picturesque landscape and bare witness to the four seasons, sunrises and sunsets as you’ve never seen them before. The heart of the property supports an old homestead. The original section of the house was crafted using the 'rammed earth' technique, and built in the early 1900's. In some areas, the walls are 2 feet thick which makes the house quiet and warm. A double brick extension was added to the original house in the 1970's. Step inside and you'll find a warm and cosy space, split into bedrooms and living spaces to allow for many guests. Yes, this is a country house, but you'll find bedding and amenities suited to an inner city hotel - plush, spacious and comfortable beds are available for 12 or more guests. You and your partner could be seeking an escape, a bit of time to switch off from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day suburban life. For that, we have novels and magazines, patches of grass for yoga at sunrise. Day trips to Bathurst, Sofala, Kanangra, Katoomba, the gardens of Mayfield, any of the destinations between Arlamont and Sydney as it is only a couple of hours away. Visit Govetts Leap at Blackheath, Hydro Majestic at Medlow Bath, the lolly shop at Leura and The Jellybean Pool at Glenbrook. Maybe the family needs a bit of grounding, a moment to pause, and spend some time with the world away from the net. If you are game enough to disconnect from social media and technology and reconnect with each other then come to Arlamont. The withdrawal symptoms from technology will be softned by the allure of nature, where you can rediscover books, board games and outside activities. The games cupboard calls for players to start at GO and you’ll find the marshmallows ready for roasting, once the fire pit gets crackling. Make popcorn, pick blackberries (if in season) to bake in the pie maker, master the local cookbook and it’s mighty scone recipe, and, when the sun goes down, search the night sky for satellites, constellations and falling stars. You will wish you had bigger lungs to breathe in the air. The Duckmaloi and Fish Rivers and Oberon Dam are near by which have rainbow and brown trout and also a growing number of redfin. A tagged trophy trout has been released into the streams surrounding Oberon. There are numerous dirt bike tracks around the area and in the surrounding forestry on Bindo (the mountain in most of the outdoor photos). There are beautiful lookouts around Lithgow and Mt Vic and the Small Arms Factory and Glow Worm Cave at Lithgow are definitely worth a look.
There is no TV in the house but the lure of the land and many games supplied will have you forgetting their appeal. Mobile phone reception coverage is ok. You may have to go near a window to get reception due to the very thick walls. Enjoy board games, a battle of Jenga or Uno or reading a good book. Paddock cricket, soccer or footy. Torch light hide and seek, Fly fishing, fossicking for gold, saphires or diamonds in the local creeks, (some fossicking equipment may be available for hire). Jenolan Cave tours, Kanangra Boyd National Park exploring, mountain bike and dirt bike riding in the forests for the adventurous or just relaxing with a glass of wine while the sun falls beyond the valley for the romantics. For bushwalkers/bike riders a pick up and drop off service may be available with prior arrangement from 6 foot track or other walks/rides. Undercover shed parking is provided for motorcycle / car owners. Mayfield Gardens for garden lovers and we are only a 20 minute drive for those thinking of getting married at Mayfield Gardens or Waldara which are very exclusive and exquisite wedding reception venues in the area. But most of all tranquility, comfort and space are the real attractions here, without leaving you in isolation or boredom – wander in through her gates and allow Arlamont to work her magic.
  • A secluded cottage on a large property. Peace and quiet at its best and plenty of space to walk around and see the farm animals.

  • Trish was a lovely host - she communicates well and responds very promptly. I came here with my group of close friends as a farewell trip for one of them leaving overseas and this place made a memory to cherish forever. There are plenty of rooms ( vey comfy), nice and spacious bathroom / common areas and the best part of all is the SCENERY✨. It's super quiet and you can see a lot of cows, sheep, and kangaroos in the area. And the sunset is to die for! Would definitely reccomend 11/10.

  • This is a beautiful stunningly styled home in a picturesque location. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    Richelle2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • we stayed with our friends for three nights. We were worried a little bit in the beginning about the location being far away. But cottage itself was a very pleasant surprise. Plenty of open rural properties around provided the perfect privacy , seclusion and digital detox much needed. weak mobile phone reception is , however, possible at the property gate . there is good reception at the main tar. Fire place was of the utmost use as this place was cold particularly in mornings. First morning even surprised us with frost all around. quite windy till the mid day. So kite flying is possible. we enjoyed our lazy teas basking in the morning sun right on the verandah. we even spotted a resident ? fox? . Kids absolutely loved the visit and overnight stay of black and very friendly Apollo. We definitely recommend this place and would visit again. Thanks to the hosts.

  • This is one of the best property we stayed in through airbnb. As soon as we got in the gate the view is amazing! The cottage itself is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen is fully stock with the basic. The interior of the house is beautiful. The place is kid’s friendly 😊 our stay was super relaxing and we really enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommended to book your next holiday at this property.

This is an heritage house ( around 150 years old ) with rustic charm. Set in a sheltered spot at the base of a hill it has a large garden and views to the remnant forest. The house has a playroom with toys and books. There is a cubby and treehouse. There is a large garden with a child proof fence and child proof gates. The house decor is country in style. New renovations have been made with its heritage in mind . This includes an open fire place made with reclaimed convict-made bricks. The kitchen is hand crafted to look like the original country kitchen would have . The decor is country brocante/ antique and arty. On the walls are original artworks by the owner and her artist friends. There is also an Asian influence as The owner has spent a lot of time in Asia as an archeologist . The verandah is a great place to watch the sun set reflect pink on the hills.
We are very close to many attractions in the area including: Waldara wedding venue (10 -15 min) , Mayfeild Gardens ( 15 min), Oberon town (5min), Jenolan Caves ( 30 min), Abercrombie Caves ( 1 hour), Kanagra National Park & Walls ( 34 min), Bathurst ( 45 min)
  • A perfect place for a family country holiday. The cosy cottage was full of charm, yet had all the facilities that you would get in a hotel. Situated at Oberon, a beautiful country town, it is only 30 minutes from the Jenolan Caves or Bathurst. We had our 8 & 6 year old grand children with us and they had so much fun running around in the yard, climbing the tree house, collecting sticks for the fired, doing puzzles, playing games and exploring. They loved going into town for ice cream (we loved the coffee!) and visiting the Mineral & Fossil Museum at Bathurst and exploring the caves at Jenolan Caves. Also a great way to give back to our country cousins by spending money in the towns.

  • We came to Oberon for a family wedding and were very happy we stayed a few extra days. The weather wasn’t so good but the house was cosy and warm. The property is beautiful and enjoyed walking around the fence line....even managed to spot a few wombats. The country style of the home was perfect for the surroundings and we enjoyed the open fire place. Marnie had firewood ready to go and the house was toasty warm when we arrived. Coffee machine and a few pantry items also made our stay easier. We all loved the country style house and it was a perfect stay for a family of 6 adults and a baby. The beds were comfy and warm. Also Marnie gave us a few helpful hints about where to eat and what to see. Would definitely stay again.

    Joanne2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • We booked Marnie's place for a long weekend and we liked it! Nice and clean house with plenty of space inside and spectacular views outside. We traveled with kids and and there were a lot of toys in the playroom and a cubby in the yard, so we could enjoy our quiet moments by the fireplace :) Highly recommend this house to anyone, especially to those with kids!

  • Titania Farm is simply stunningly beautiful. It has a real country farm feel and the surrounds are amazing. The house itself also has that classic farm feel and has ample space and good amenities. The bathroom has been renovated from scratch and is gorgeous, especially with the view out over the hills. If you're looking for a country getaway then look no further - this is the place for you. We would definitely come again.

  • Was very well equipped, comfortable for a family. We found Marnie very approachable and eager to please. Very secluded and peaceful

    Jane2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Marnie's house is nestled in an absolutely divine location surrounded by a glorious yard for the kids to safely play. The house itself was a delightful trip into the past with lovely amenities and personal touches throughout. The bath was amazing looking out onto the hillside behind the house. The house was immaculate and the beds comfy. We enjoyed a lovely Christmas and thank you sincerely for making your house available at short notice.

    Cath2017-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for the Bathurst 1000 Supercars weekend. We really loved the house (a country style house), very comfy and homey, with awesome scenery. It was 40 minutes away from the Bathurst track, which was OK with us. The host was great (we only communicated via email or text). They were always making sure that everything was OK, before, during and after our stay. The house is self contained, had everything that you needed. It was only 10 minutes from Orebon, which had everything you need (IGA Supermarket, Pub). The food and service at the Hotel and RSL Club were delicious.

  • Frogspark is a fabulous house for large groups. Our weekend was spent with family- 10 adults and 6 children - 5 and under. The house was perfect for us. Everyone had their own space and with two large living areas there was plenty of room to get away. The deck is also huge with lovely views over the property. There is a large flat area which was perfect for family soccer. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped with tea, coffee, condiments etc. plenty of bowls and cooking vessels. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. The wifi was also appreciated. The house comes with bikes and we had a great ride along the rail trail very close to the house. The fire pit was perfect to toast marshmallows. Sharon was a very helpful host and left all kinds of goodies for us. she also responded immediately to any concerns and we certainly felt welcome and at home. We would definitely love to stay again.

Walking through the granite boulder and gum trees by lake Oberon was a magical and adventurous experience. the water in the lake was a bit to cold for a swim but that didn't stop us ;) Also really great view to wake up to each morning.

It was a lovely place to sit and unwind, plenty of room to cook up meals for the entire group, and a large enough space that we could get the kids to bed and then enjoy dinner and a few drinks with a game of pool. Ash was a great host. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Cute, old fashioned pubs nearby and lovely green countryside, it was beautiful to get away from it all. Beds were very comfy and cosy, and the fireplace was perfect because it was a little chillier than we expected. Loved our stay here! Pretty, easy and laid back.. we were very happy to base ourselves here to explore and come back and relax at the property afterwards.

  • A lovely cottage in a lovely location 7 minutes from Oberon. The house is well laid out, nice bedrooms, two bathrooms and a nice living area with a fire which is lovely on a winters night. We went to explore the area but ended up spending the weekend at the house as it was so nice and relaxing just hanging out. Easy check in, nice host.

    Stephen2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • We are a family of four, with 6 and 8-year-old children, who travelled to Noah’s place in July 2019. It was our base for exploring the nearby Jenolan Caves. Noah was the perfect host. He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were delighted to find a welcoming pot of his delicious honey upon arrival. The house was very roomy, cosy and comfortable. The wood fire quickly heats the living area on cold days and nights. The kitchen was perfect for self-catering. The wrap-around verandah was lovely for watching the local wildlife such as kangaroos, eagles and galahs. We hope to return here when we are next in the area.

  • What a spectacular property and outlook!! The cabin itself was extremely clean and amenities were modern and functional. We really couldn't have asked for more. The hosts have thought of everything. We stayed with our two kids (4 and 1) and they had a fantastic time. The fire place was amazing, and the spa bath was a hit too! We were lucky enough to have snow on the second day of our stay which was really special. The kids also loved seeing all the animals. If you are thinking of staying here for a quiet getaway too you have found your place. Quiet and absolutely private. Thank you so much again for having us. The Nugents.

  • The photos do not do this place justice! We booked last minute for a quick getaway, and our booking was confirmed within hours. Getting access to the cabin was simple and easy, no check in required. We were stunned at the view our cabin had, and the surroundings. It is such a beautiful place! Each cabin is located separate from the others to ensure complete privacy. Accommodation was cosy and had everything we needed. Our favourite was the fireplace which had all the supplies for us to easily manage and keep warm throughout our two nights. The place was clean, large bathroom with big spa tub, perfect for a weekend away with your partner. Cannot recommend enough. We couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces the whole time we were there. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for having us!!

Room is in my family home in a quiet street with a short drive or 10 minute walk to centre of town or 5min walk to RSL.
You will have your own private bedroom with en-suite in my family home where my two adult sons and myself live. Your space will include lounge room with a small kitchenette to make a cuppa and continental breakfast. Your more than welcome to use the full kitchen if needed.
  • Vicki was great! I finished work late and couldn’t check in at the normal check in time but Vicki waited for me to arrive even though she had to wake up super early. She also came back from work to give me a coffee voucher. She was so nice and really thoughtful. Vickis place was also very clean and the bed was really comfortable! Hopefully get to go back in the future!

  • So friendly and helpful with local eating places! Very clean and nothing was too much of an issue!
