Places to stay in Eugene
Country Tinyhouse with electricity, ikea futon and mini fridge. No bathroom, but Port potty available for bathroom use only. WiFi available. Hose available for water.
It’s a space built by my son’s school- I bought as a donation. It’s in my lower parking area in front of my cabin and rv. It’s heated by a space heater.
I have some hillbilly neighbors- but the property itself- has a lot of trees and privacy.
  • I really enjoyed Wendy's place. Reasonable pricing, rustic and quiet, with a great location. The drive to Eugene is only 15 to 20 minutes with an awesome view of rolling hills along the way. 40 minutes to the coast as well. Highly recommended place to stay for nature lovers and down to earth types.

  • Small and inexpensive with a comfortable bed. Make sure you get good directions. Just what I needed.

  • After seeing this place, we were astonished at how many 5 star reviews it had. If it had not been cold at night by this time, we would have cancelled and camped on BLM land instead. This is advertised as a tiny home but is truly a tool shed. Bathroom is a port-a-potty and host said herself we would be better off showering at a gym in town than the rv that you have to go into for a kitchen and for water/cooking. Warm water lasted sub five minutes, not enough to even wash pans. Eugene is 30-40 minutes away. Internet was spotty at best. When we told host internet went out and we had to drive 40 mins into town at 5am her response was along the lines of we should be happy there was WiFi at all since her and her “caretaker” wired it up themselves. Girlfriend asked that I mention she would not feel comfortable staying here as a solo female traveler, especially as the host will be in Mexico for the rest of 2018 and there are two males living in a cabin near the house. Door did not lock when we first arrived, had to take the knob off and reattach ourselves so we could lock the door. Unbelievable the places Airbnb allows people to make money off of these days. Would not recommend if you are intending on visiting Eugene, maybe if you are trying to stay off the grid. At around $20/night, this tool shed adds up to almost $600/month if you were to rent this place out and I can’t imagine in a town like Eugene there aren’t much nicer places to stay than a glorified tool shed. Owner was kind, odd that there was a caretaker but he was very friendly as well. The “tiny house” did not meet expectations.

  • The tiny home I stayed at was freshly build and the wood frame/interior smelled so good!

  • Wendy’s tiny mini-house is wonderful! Exactly what I was looking for on a quick weekend get away!

  • Its a good option if you're in a budget, like a tent but you stand in, very comfy, as described. Wendy is a nice host, the place is quite, good for resting.

  • Everything was great - better than expected. Thanks Wendy!

  • Off the beaten path, in a converted shed, but comfy as all get-out if you're looking for a quiet place to lay your head for the night!

Serenity, privacy, and convenience in the exclusive South Hills of Eugene. Nestled in the treetops yet minutes to the University of Oregon/downtown/I-5, this 900+ sq ft dedicated guest suite has a private entrance, walls of windows, a woodburning fireplace, an outdoor therapeutic hot tub, a king size bed, wi-fi, HBO/Netflix, self check-in/check-out lockbox, and a masseuse available. Find out why this space is a favorite destination for weddings, honeymoons, staycations, and even music videos.
The 900+ square foot guest suite is a split level converted library on the bottom floor of the main house with a bedroom/living area below and a dining/bathroom/kitchenette area above. It offers a separate private entrance, amazing views of the valley from tree top views from the deck, a comfortable couch and a king size bed. Deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife wander by in the 1/2 acre wooded backyard which you are welcomed to walk through. Take a nap in the hammock as you listen to the birds chirp around you. Relax in the outdoor hot tub as you gaze at the city lights at night or enjoy the romantic twinkling deck lights (and thanks to a new water resistant cantilever umbrella that covers the hottub, you can sit in it even when it's raining). Chat with Alexa and let her play some tunes, set your alarm, give you the weather forecast or the news, or recommend restaurants in the area. Or get cozy in front of the wood burning fireplace and LED candles as you binge watch HBO on Demand/Netflix on the HD TV. There's even a PS3 with some games and blue ray movies for ya. And if you need to do some stargazing, you can go up to my rooftop deck and enjoy the stars (just need to coordinate as access is through the main house). Some even use the air mattresses to sleep outside on the deck under the stars (and the twinkly balcony lights). Either way, many find themselves staying in simply to relax and enjoy the place. This suite is only used for guests so you won't feel like you are living in someone else's space or intruding on someone else's privacy. The house (and suite) is located on a quite cul de sac so parking/traffic is never a problem and the street is large enough for moving trucks. You can also use two comfortable queen size air mattress to add more beds to the place. And while the kitchen does not have a full oven or stove top, it does have a portable gas burner, microwave oven, small electric grill, and keurig coffee/tea maker. We've had wonderful guests leave us some nice comments. Here are just a few: - "We fell in love with the place ..." - "Wow, what a gorgeous spot in Eugene ... This has to be the best Airbnb in Eugene." - "Lovely little gem in the forest- cozy, safe, romantic and just overall magical." - "If I could give Joseph and his place 10 stars, I would! This place is AMAZING!!" - "Our family came into Eugene and all had separate Airbnb spaces. We had the best and everyone hung out with us." - "Joseph and Radmila's tree house bungalow is a must especially if you want a luxury private airbnb experience." - "Joseph's place was AMAZING!!! We loved feeding the deers and turkeys! If we come back to Oregon we will definitely stay here again." - "Joseph's place is a must stay if you are in the Eugene area." - "Staying here was the icing on the cake for our Oregon trip! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was definitely a highlight of the trip." - "This was a perfect airbnb, and by far my favorite." - "I was tremendously pleased at how unique and fun this was, especially for the price. Beats the heck out of a hotel." - "All I can say is: do not pass up the chance to stay at this place. Every minute of our stay was just wonderful. " - "Joseph’s place was incredible. Period. If you can stay here, do it." - "This library treehouse is stunning! Amazing location and beautiful scenery. Had a small wedding ceremony on the deck and the photographer had so much to work with ..." We've been fortunate to host kind and appreciative guests and would be happy to welcome you as well. Pricing is based on Airbnb's automated smartpricing which determines a low price based on demand, etc. for similar rentals in Eugene. So the earlier you book, the better your price (usually). Of course, discounts for longer bookings are available. Plus, as an Airbnb user myself, I don't believe you should pay for extra people when the same space is used and will try to accommodate late check-outs or early check-ins without charge when possible but please let us know in advance so we can coordinate with other guests and houskeeping.
This is one of the most respected and exclusive neighborhoods in Eugene. Everyone is very friendly and you will absolutely get the serenity, privacy, and rest you are looking for so allow you to enjoy and make the most of your time in this wonderful small city.
  • Gorgeous home. Kids loved the "tree house". Alexa a big hit. If only we could have stayed longer.

  • Very wonderful and relaxing place! If you need to gather your thoughts I highly recommend.

  • Joseph communicated frequently and was available if we needed anything. We really liked the flexibility he presented us with as far as check-in and check-out. The place has stunning views of the valley and the hot tub is a lovely addition to a rainy night! The decorations were in a theme of eastern culture, which was well done. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

    Bj2017-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Joseph was an incredible host. He welcomed us in and gave us a tour of the space, he offered us Voodoo donuts and some unique Vietnamese spa items! He was so kind and helpful and was readily available to answer any questions. The space is super unique and waking up to the beautiful forest views was really refreshing. It's secluded enough to get a different feel for Bend but it's close enough to the main city to drive there.

    Hayden2017-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • A unique place in the trees! The Hot tub and fireplace was nice! We were actually greeted by a mama dear and her baby :-) Great location ! Very quiet and peaceful

    Michelle2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a beautiful place to stay! Very quiet and secluded. The hot tub was a great treat at the end of the night.

  • Great tucked away spot with fantastic views! Joseph was communicative and friendly, would definitely stay here again

    Zachary2017-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Joseph was a great host and maintained great communication during our stay... the space was very unique, beautifully decorated and had a rustic feel in a serene woodland setting. There were various extra amenities, including coffee, breakfast items, snacks, beer and toiletries. The bedding was also extremely comfortable! We enjoyed our stay!

  • For $19, this was amazing. Highlights include.... circle window at top of yurt you can look out as you're falling asleep; wood stove (which definitely doesn't fit regular sized logs, but kept us super warm all the same); heater, which kept us really warm when the fire went out; the queen sized futon bed--bigger than expected. Just an outhouse for a bathroom, which was fine for us. Bring water.

  • Very comfortable and cozy. Was a good amount of snow on the ground during my stay, which made the walk to the main house kitchen less appealing, but very cool place. Wendy is very sweet and made sure I felt right at home, even though I didnt see her until the end of my stay. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Our stay here was unfortunately not that great. We came in late because of the storm around 9-10 PM and did not know that this location was so deep in the mountains that I could not get cell service. The area was very dark and it was a little hard to find her house. The drive through is rocky and as it was raining hard, it turned very muddy. It was unfortunate that we came late but what could we do when the weather was unpredictable? We asked the host where we can park and told us to park in this one area. Well we unfortunately got stuck because of the mud. When our host saw how we were stuck, she commented "oh you're stuck" and I thought she was going to help us with either pushing or providing us gravel around the house, but she just asked if we had triple A or something that can get us a tow truck. We were all tired, cold, and wet. I get it. We drove from Reno, NV and we didn't eat since lunch time that day. How frustrated were we? Very but we were still patient. The yurt was fine except for the wood burner since the ventilation was broken so the smoke was in the room. We were warm because of the other heater in the room. It would've helped if we were warned.

  • Great cozy yurt and location to explore the Oregon Coastline. Great value and cheaper than camping.

    Suzanne2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt was comfortable and nice. We had a little trouble finding it, but the neighbors were able to point us in the right direction, would stay again!

    Catherine2017-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed our stay at Wendy's place! Fun experience sleeping in the yurt! Wendy was amazing and went over and above to sort our bedding out at such late notice! Definitely recommend staying be for different experience!

    Jasmine2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt was quaint and cozy. But know that not all shared space/amenities may be available when you arrive and the yurt is very close to the house where other people live full time. If you are looking for an inexpensive spot to sleep while you explore Siuslaw and the gorgeous oregon Coast, this might be the place for you.

  • AVOID AT ALL COSTS: My girlfriend and I have been driving for hours from northern Washington and we stopped in Portland to get some food before arriving at this yurt that we booked from Wendy. Before we arrived, Wendy had messaged us with the directions and where to park. When we arrived the areas that she designated for us to park, those spots were taken—in the upper parking area a car was double-parked and so we had to squeeze our car alongside another car on the lower parking. We checked in at around midnight, exhausted from the drive. We turned on the electrical heater which STUNK OF DUST AND DEBRIS, so we decided to use the wood-burning heater LISTED ON THE DESCRIPTION, even bringing our own Duraflame wood (a clean-burning wood meant for indoor heating) AS REQUESTED BY WENDY ON HER DESCRIPTION. There is not proper ventilation in the yurt which is a safety hazard. THIS WAS NOT COMMUNICATED WITH US, NO NOTE OR MESSAGE EXPLAINING THE WORKING SITUATION OF THE HEATER. It was listed in the amenities so we assumed that it was available for use. The yurt was filling with smoke, so we immediately put the fire out. My girlfriend was coughing all night. We checked out at 11 am because we had to get back on the road. On our drive we receive a phone call from Wendy SCREAMING AND CUSSING AT US because we used her wood-burning heater and faulting us for checking in late. Mind you, we’ve been driving for hours and the time we arrived was not in our control. It’s a long drive, what’re we going to do, teleport? We got there as soon as we physically could. Her Airbnb experience was described as a “SELF-CHECK IN PROCESS” and it says “day time check-in recommended but not necessary”. There was definitely a lack of communication on both sides, but she refused to admit any faults. Not only this but she was insisting that her other Airbnb tenants were complaining about us. I actually met one of them, Dean, and we had a great conversation. He was nothing but cool. When we called her out on this, she tried to backtrack and it was obvious we called her out on a lie. This was the worst Airbnb experience I’ve ever encountered. I really hope she responds to this message, I’m curious on how she’s going to spin this and put it on us. Airbnb has already been contacted and they immediately requested that we send in the pictures. The representative was extremely concerned as this was a HUGE SAFETY VIOLATION. We even tried to talk things through with her but to no avail. Avoid this place if don’t want to choose between sleeping in the cold or developing lung cancer. I usually give Airbnb hosts the benefit of the doubt when they have a couple bad reviews such as inaccurate Airbnb descriptions or misrepresentations, mentioned a few times on her profile, because some tenants...

This is a quiet neighborhood in north Eugene, just a block from the river. One of the things we enjoy about living here are the larger lots, variety of homes and 100+ year old trees. We are away from the bustle of the city, but just minutes away from beautiful parks, duck ponds, movie theaters, restaurants and downtown. It's a great area!
  • The cottage was perfect for our brief stay in Eugene. Bruce came over and introduced himself and we got some great tips for our upcoming move to Eugene. Everything was exactly as described, an absolutely gorgeous home.

    Tia2015-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Bruce came to check on us a few minutes after we arrived. He was very friendly and funny and instantly made us feel welcome and comfortable .

    Tisha2016-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was lovely just as it looks in the pictures. Everything is great quality and they even welcomed us with snacks in a basket and beer in the fridge. The showers awesome! The beds are comfortable and cozy. We even set up our computer to the tv to watch a favorite show. Bruce is a friendly host and we loved meeting him and his wife. They were very helpful with anything we needed. He was also very quick to respond with any messages I sent him. We wished we had stayed more than one night here!! We highly recommend this place.

    Megan2015-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our host made us feel welcome by adapting to our schedule, stocking the cottage with snacks for our arrival, having clearly written directions for the operation of everything in the cottage, as well as a detailed listing of restaurants and places of interest, especially his and his wife's favorites. He also was happy to discuss these with us and show us how he designed and built the cottage, which has excellent craftsmanship. We felt welcomed because they thought of everything to make our stay wonderful.

    Edward2015-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great experience. This place is super cute & Bruce & his wife are friendly! I would stay here again!

    Kristine2015-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Go there with your eyes closed, everything is perfect

    Gino2018-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • If you have a chance to stay at Bruce's place, book it for sure. Beautiful, well-crafted and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and communication with Bruce (and his wife) is perfect. Easily my favorite place to stay in Eugene.

    Laura2017-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Bruce's cottage fit the bill for our family of three as we took a long three day weekend in Eugene, Oregon. We have a teenage daughter and the space was more than sufficient, as we do not spend a lot of time in the accommodations we seek. I appreciate the description and images of the cottage are accurate. Additionally, the 'atmosphere/energy-in-the-air' was very positive and uplifting; as I do believe energy is in each home/space, and the energy at the cottage was easy and positive. The cottage is nicely appointed, and mindful of less clutter. The kitchen space is very functional, with quality kitchen equipment and tools. Each day I make about 64 ounces of herbal tea blend, I was way happy to discover the large pot used for boiling water was not an old stained pot, pulled from the attic! The coffee maker and coffee grounds provided, to my surprise, was also of good quality - thank you Bruce! Beds were good; I generally prefer a king bed, as my husband is 6'3, but he opted for the loft bed and the ladder up to the loft was very sturdy. The ground floor bed was good as well. The beds are not super saggy nor are they super firm. Personally I prefer a firm bed. Bathroom shower is a plus with sufficient space and the water is hot ! Like it's cousin, the kitchen, the bathroom is also equipped with quality hardware ! Small deck out front with a small waterfall.... we did not get a chance to enjoy this option, darn! Most importantly the cottage was CLEAN! I value and appreciate this quality very much about an Airbnb. I would not hesitate recommending Bruce's Cottage; the place is nice and Bruce is a very nice host, who responds quickly to guests.

Great price for a great area. Check out my reviews. Cozy 2 story cottage in the heart of Eugene. All major amenities are included here. T.V. key less entry, coffee, fridge, microwave, oven, stove, and lots more . Walking distance from everything. Quick walk to the Whiteaker brewery district, downtown bar district, downtown shopping centers, Hult Center. Walking distance to UofO Campus. Bike to the river trails 5 min! Everything is at your fingertips at heartbeat cottage.
Heartbeat Cottage is a private house built in the early 1900's. The two story house comes with a large bedroom with a queen size mattress downstairs. And a studio bedroom with a queen size futon couch upstsirs. There is a full size kitchen and toiletry room upstairs as well. Second bedroom is open to the kitchen, and walkway to bathroom. Most has been updated, but the windows still have that unique look. The house is nestled in some of the first houses ever built in eugene. Just a couple blocks away from the freeway, as well as the recent downtown rebuild of the malls, restaurants, and bar scene. 420 friendly. Outside smoking only.
The atmosphere in this area is like nowhere else in eugene. Very historic, yet very live. The whole town was built around this area. Anywhere you need to go, your only minutes away.
  • Can’t beat the location and value.

  • Very convenient location to downtown Eugene. The bus line is close by & it’s a short walk to nightlife etc. the private patio is great! The bathroom setup is a little funky, but not a big deal if you’re staying there with friends or your significant other.

    Tammy2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here with my mother and young daughter for a weekend. It was very cozy, but had plenty of room for the three of us. Had a cute little garden in the front yard, although parking was a little tight for our two vehicles. Definitely try to bring only one car to this place. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

    Cathy2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jake was quick and communicative and made it a quick and easy to get in and get comfortable.

    Christafa2018-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place for the price! Jake is very kind and responsive. The toilet/shower is a bit questionable if you're on the taller/bigger size. And the stairs were scary until we got used to them.

  • Nancy’s place is gorgeous! I would honestly love living there for an extended period of time, but I don’t have any reason to be in Eugene for a long time. Thanks for making your place truly special!

  • A return trip to Eugene and staying at Nancy's place was again, another perfect stay! As long as her cozy place is available to stay there, we will continue to come back. Thanks, Nancy!

  • Nancy is great, and so was the place!

    Mark2018-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy's place was cozy and the bed was comfortable! It had everything I needed for the few days I spent in Eugene, visiting my daughter. I would stay there again. Thanks Nancy!

  • Great little studio! We loved the decor, the location, and the suggestions Nancy left for us (we had some great pizza pies delivered).

  • I was visiting Eugene for a retreat and wanted a comfy quiet place to come to at night, and that's exactly what I experienced at Nancy's place. She was there to check me in, answer my questions and give me a brief tour upon my arrival. She has obviously spent a lot of time making her studio comfortable for guests and adding many nice touches to enhance the experience. She had coffee and tea for me and even asked what I liked in my coffee in the mornings. Bonus for me was the bike route just down the street from her house that was a great running route in the mornings.

  • Nancy's place is perfect. Comfortable, quiet, and the location is excellent. The apartment was full of little thoughtful touches which made it feel just like home. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Enjoy our private guest suite - aka the entire first floor of our beautiful home! Separate entrance with key-code lock allows you to come and go as you please. Off-street parking available. Nice neighborhood. Includes new Queen size bed, private bath, gas fireplace, ample closet space, coffee maker, fridge, laundry facilities and WiFi. Cozy cabin/treehouse feel and only 5 blocks from bus line, 3 miles from U of O, close to parks, running/bike trails, shops and restaurants.
Cozy, quiet neighborhood in the South Eugene Hills. Our house, though located next to a few others, is nestled up in the trees to give it a wonderfully peaceful, cabin-y feel.
  • What a lovely, restful, cozy, spacious place to stay! In amongst the trees, and with the stone wall, fireplace and Oregon guidebooks and decor, you really feel like you’re truly in the Northwest! Check in was a breeze and Katherine was so kind, responded happily and immediately to any questions, and was completely accommodating, letting me do a load of laundry which really helped me out on my trip. Oh the bath towel had to be one of the fluffiest ever! I’d definitely stay here again!

    Branson And Renee2018-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in Eugene at Katherine and Ben’s felt like a retreat in the city. Nestled in the pines and barely visible from the street, we were able to hear and see owls at dusk. Berries were plentiful and within walking distance. Ben and Katherine were gracious and kind, providing local recommendations and making us feel “at home”. They have the most lovable blind, elderly cattle dog mix who is not only inspiring but also a joy to play with. A car is helpful to get around town, but we were able to take a longer walk to the market and nearby restaurant.

  • Best Airbnb ever. Me and my friend loved it there, the bed was really comfortable and the airbnb is in a great location. Thanks again Ben and Katherine.

  • Very cute place. Katherine and Ben were very thoughtful and paid a lot of attention to detail, made us feel very comfortable.

  • Such a great little gem in Eugene. Super quiet and very nice space. Can't wait to come back!

  • This place is amazing, Katherine and Ben are so welcoming and their pupper is excellent. Especially for the price it has everything you need and more!

    Helen2018-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Katherine and Ben’s place is awesome—unique and beautiful among the trees. The space was perfectly clean, they printed my boarding pass for me which was very nice of them, and there were great little touches throughout: a fully stocked coffee maker and tea, a handwritten welcome note by the bed, and even the toilet paper was folded into a diamond like at a nice hotel. Highly recommend!

Centrally located yet secluded. Super close to Autzen, University of Oregon and downtown. Friendly, newer neighborhood with Alton Baker Park as our backyard. Enjoy a Temperpedic bed. I also host another room if you are traveling with a group! My goal is to have you relax, enjoy your stay and get a great nights sleep. Perfect place to stay for all activities or for just traveling through. I'm always happy to meet new guests as a host. I hope you book! Thanks! :)
This cozy bedroom nestled in the back of the house is perfect for those wanting to be close to everything yet get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This room is larger than Blue River Bliss. It also has a larger closet, temperpedic bed and flatscreen TV in room. We are a mile walk to: the University of Oregon and an amazing alternative stay and car parking to the home Football games at Autzen. We are close the interstate for travelers and we are close to the Cuthright Amphitheater.
We live in an amazing, quiet and well-kept neighborhood.
  • Nice, simple place. Mackenzie was super nice and sweet and helpful! A little sad that it didn't say check in time was any time after 6 pm... it felt like I barely got to chill out there because check out time was 10 the next day! Cute and friendly pup! Overall a nice place.

  • Clean easy place to crash for the night.

    Andy2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • I felt the place was kind of like a hotel-house. Not much interaction with other guests as we each stayed in our rooms. I never met the host. Many little notes and detailed guidelines to follow. Very clean, safe and comfortable. A nice, affordable room to stay in for a couple of nights. Don't let the dog in ;)

    Devin2018-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Mackenzie’s place was clean, comfy, and convenient for a one night stay to attend an event at Autzen Stadium.

If you've never slept in the round before, you owe yourself! We all want to "think outside the box," but how about sleeping outside the box? — well, inside, but not in a box! Windows above & all around, 59,206 pennies beneath. ★ ★ Magic! Our goal is to give you something in addition to a pleasant visit and peaceful rest. We want to give you a lasting memory — a story you can tell others when you get back home. Or many stories. (They pack easily and weigh nothing.)
We love to design spaces that are not in a box. We want to give our guests an experience that is meaningful and memorable. We've tried to anticipate your questions, so scroll down and read our description here before inquiring about details. We use a dynamic pricing model based on four years of bookings, so the dates you ask for will give you an accurate cost, which may differ from the generic listing price. Summer, weekends, track meets — we allow demand to influence rates. We have another space listed here: Our loft apartment: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/3115540 (slightly more expensive, but with a private bath) For an extra $10/night, we have what we call the "loftier apartment" -- it includes a dining area directly beneath the apartment's living room. Here's a link to that listing: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/13332837 ***************** "Enchanting, magical, uplifting" -- those are words used recently by our guests, describing this wonderful space. Twelve sides, windows all around, surrounded by nature, yet close to town. ***************** Picture a cabin made of cedar and glass. It has wi-fi, heated or cooled to your comfort, a super-comfortable queen-sized bed with memory foam, a chair for reading, a fold-out desk, and a table and a coffee pot. All the bare essentials, in one place. (Not in all the the photos — we've added lush, room-darkening curtains all around for privacy and to aid those who prefer sleeping later.) It's situated to be rustic and inspirational, nestled into the back corner of a deep lot. There are fruit trees all around and a seasonal pond that attracts ducks in the spring and early summer. Depending on the season, you can listen to birds and frogs from inside the roundhouse, or cross the footbridge to the south-facing deck behind the workshop -- another private space for your "get away from the bustle" contemplations. Or enjoy the firepit. Follow the wending path to the front fence and everything is nearby. The bathroom (with tub and shower) is at the rear of the main house, right near the back door (about 30 yards from the roundhouse). It's private and only barely shared. (We have another bath-and-a-half elsewhere in the house.) We have a clever curtaining and folding wall system that can give you extra privacy if you want it. You'll be left as alone as you choose to be during your visit. With a little bit of planning, we're happy to share our full kitchen with you during daylight hours. Same with the laundry room. We're sharing our home with you, so we ask you to be respectful of that. We love to brag about Eugene and Oregon, and we're happy to share what we have and what we know. We cannot guarantee that your visit with us will be enchanted and uplifting, but that's what we hope it will be. We'll do what we can to make it so. Our listings include a 9.5% room tax assessed by the city of Eugene. Those added funds are used to promote tourism and other good things around Lane County.
A good friend calls this location "the center of the universe" and she's sort of right. University of Oregon is about a dozen blocks away. Downtown Eugene is about a mile, straight north. Amazon Park and its running trails are a block away. Two bus lines pass within two blocks. Four pizza places. Two Thai restaurants. Three Mexican choices. Two vegetarian restaurants. Two gourmet restaurants. All within an easy 10-minute walk. After all that good eatin', you'll be glad to know that three health clubs and the YMCA also are nearby. If you'd rather cook or reheat leftovers, we have a toaster oven, microwave, two burners and full fridge under cover on the back porch. I have a tie-dye umbrella for you if it rains, and a bike you can borrow if you want to explore the town.
  • The roundhouse is a refreshing retreat from the world, tucked away in Don’s magical backyard. If you sit still long enough, you’ll see all sorts of woodland creatures (Hidden by Airbnb) ing about. The abundance of natural light in the roundhouse does wonders for the mind. Don is a stellar host, as evidenced in his careful attention to detail in decor and amenities. I highly recommend a stay here!

    Liz2018-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived a little later in the evening and everything was perfect -- the string lights in the backyard set the mood and the frogs were singing all night long. Don met us and gave us a little tour of the space before retreating to the main house. He made us feel incredibly welcome and we are so glad that we had the opportunity to stay in the delightful little roundhouse! I forgot my portable speaker in the room and Don was awesome and held on to it until I was able to come back and retrieve it. We'll definitely be coming back to stay in the future.

    Alex2016-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Don was a excellent host and his property is absolutely beautiful. The round-house is decorated nicely and full of little touches that make the stay both convenient and pleasant. When I venture back to Eugene I would love to stay at Don's place again!

  • Geese, I thought I left a review for you already, but a message came up saying I should give you another sorry if it's a repeat . As you said Don, the walk for me was challenging and that was true, but it was well worth it because the room the bed and my stay was divine thank you so much

  • Beautiful, calming, clean, and very welcoming! This was the perfect place for some time to myself during WINGS Seminar! It was close to town but quit.

  • This was my second time staying here. This place is magical.

    Lynn2018-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Don and Nate for sharing your magical Roundhouse with me a second time! My week of peace and quiet there was refreshing. I got a lot of writing done. I was blown away by all the extra amenities you've added since my first stay a couple of years ago. There was even a little copper-lidded bowl with earplugs. Of course the environment is so quiet the only need for earplugs would be if your travelling companion snores loud. :) The yummy tea selection was a treat, as well as Nate's home-roasted coffee beans. I enjoyed reading the Eugene magazines and relaxing in the rocking reading chair with footstool. Your garden is spectacular! I was happy to see the frog ponds with water in them, and heard some croaking. I even saw an owl in your giant sequoia! Amazing! Right in the heart of city amenities is nestled your magical natural hide-away. It was fun to walk to do grocery shopping and check out restaurants and even a community acupuncture clinic! Thank you again for sharing your magical space you've created with the Roundhouse.

    Lynette2016-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at the roundhouse. Don was very welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for places to go while we were in Eugene. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, close to a huge park, and biking distance from downtown. We would certainly return!

Quiet residential neighborhood with private entrance, patio, parking, kitchen & bathtub & shower. The plush couch folds to a comfortable bed. We are a 5 - 10 min. drive from the heart of downtown and a 5 - 10 min. drive to the U of O campus.
The space is elegantly decorated and furnished with comfort in mind. The space is private and makes a great getaway. The kitchen allows guest to cook and stay in or go out for meals. The cottage is small and cozy. The plush sofa folds out to a queen size bed. The mattress is a premium airbed which has a built in boxspring for comfort and support for your body while you sleep. The mattress will inflate in 2 minutes and can be adjusted for your preference and feels like a conventional mattress. Since my husband and I live just a short walk across the backyard, we are a able to assist with the sofa or any of our guests' needs to make your stay comfortable.
Located in a quiet, friendly, residential neighborhood within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and grocery stores with organic and eclectic selections of foods. Dining options in our surrounding area include Thai, Italian, Mexican, sport bars, Hawaiian, and charming Eugene inspired fare.
  • Barbara made our stay so lovely. She was very flexible about the time we arrived and made the place livable for four people! The place was cozy, with a nice kitchen and bathroom. Perfect place to stay in Eugene!!

  • Barbara was most welcoming and the space was very clean, well stocked and inviting. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again.

  • Great little haven for my daughter and I for Mother's Day weekend? Barbara went out of her way to make sure we were welcomed with everything we needed and was there to greet us when we arrived very late at night. She even offered to pick up my daughter at the U of O campus when she found out I was getting in late. Bright, sunny, with all the amenities and well located. I would highly recommend it and hope that I'll get the opportunity to stay here again. Thanks to Barbara and her husband for making us so comfortable.

  • Barbara's cottage is indeed a "charming studio cottage". Nicely furnished, decorated, very clean. We were made to feel welcomed by husband David as he went over the operational aspects of the cottage. We were in Eugene to spend Christmas with our daughter and family, so we were only at the cottage for sleeping at night. However, the good tasting coffee was definitely appreciated as we got ready each morning.

    John2015-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay lots of helpful tips in the cottage book in kitchen! Clean and cute with helpful hosts as well!

    Reilly2018-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cozy cottage is just that - a cute space tucked away in a beautiful garden, surrounded by plants and flowers with nice outdoor space. Our hosts, Barbara and David, were friendly, kind, and provided excellent instructions and regular communication from reservation to check out. The cottage is comfortable, bright, private, and has all the amenities you could need. Can highly recommend this space and hosts.

  • Scott was amazing and so accommodating! I arrived a bit earlier than I intended, but he thankfully was able to allow me to check in 2 hours early so that I could make the opening ceremony. His home is beautiful just as the pictures reflect. The location is perfect, the transit station, library, and restaurants are all in a very short walking distance.

    Jasmine2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Scott's place. Everything was as described, well set up, nice fixtures, everything we needed. I had noticed that there was no coffee pot in the picture, so I asked about it. Not only did he put the pot and filters out where we could find them, he included some delicious wood roasted coffee.

Light filled two story apartment with separate living space downstairs (bathroom is downstairs) and upstairs queen sized bed in loft bedroom. Double Futon couch downstairs. Located halfway between Eugene and Junction City very close to farm stands, airport, and Oregon Horse Center. Pet friendly (woof woof, meow)
Renovated 2 story apartment next to my home. The downstairs space has a futon, high ceilings, lots of light, full kitchen, T.V. Roku, wifi, electric fireplace, and claw foot bathtub with shower. The bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, comfy chair for reading, and skylight. Note* the ceiling is lower on the sides then in the center **There is an bonus loft space accessible by a ladder only with a low ceiling and skylight. (Feels like climbing up into a camper bed above the cab) could be used for storage, extra sleeping space with sleeping bag. ** There is plenty of parking space and we are pet friendly. However, there is no smoking.
The property is located on a dead end road surrounded by prime farm land. Just 8 miles from the Eugene airport, 4.5 miles to Oregon Horse Center, 30 minutes north to Corvallis, and 15 minutes to downtown Eugene.
  • This was our first time booking through Air BnB, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience! We stayed for close to two weeks after moving to Eugene from Pennsylvania. Anna was a lovely host and was always available to answer any questions we had, yet we still had the privacy of our own living space. The location was great - only about 15 minutes to town. Cell service can be a bit patchy, but wifi is available for netflix, email, etc. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay near Eugene, whether it is for a brief or extended stay.

    Mandy2016-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay at the Farm! Anna was warm and welcoming, but gave us our privacy. They even baked us a fresh blackberry cobbler as a welcome! The atmosphere was very relaxing, and the location was beautiful. We were attending a conference in Corvallis, which was about 45 minutes away, but the drive was worth it to come back to farm and relax in the evening or enjoy coffee outside in the morning. The only issue I had with the house was that it is listed as two bedrooms, but the rooms are really semi-enclosed spaces in a loft. This did not provide for much privacy. Therefore, this place would not be good for two couples. For a family with small kids it would be really nice, as long as the kids weren't too small, because there is a small ladder going up into the second bedroom The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook a few meals. There are some great food coops in Corvallis and Eugene to buy groceries. The value of this place was great, and I would highly recommend it.

    Ramona2016-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very dog friendly and comfortable little place to stay at. Anna was very helpful and easy to talk to as well. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

    Kyle2017-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very charming place... the farm setting is so relaxing. lots of little extras like fresh flowers and a welcome note were much appreciated. There is no air conditioning in kitchen and living area downstairs, so got a little warm on 95 degree day, but AC in bedrooms upstairs is great. The place cools down considerably in evening and fan provided to pull air in. Lovely patio to enjoy sounds of the country.

    Tisha2018-07-28T00:00:00Z

My Airbnb feels like a cozy cabin in the woods but is a mile from the U of O, Hayward Field, Matthew Knight Arena, & adjacent to Hendricks Park - world famous rhododendron garden with wild trails for running and walking. I've furnished the space to be peaceful, comfortable and practical - most importantly - a very comfy bed with organic cotton sheets and a flannel duvet in winter and cool cotton in summer. Enjoy an outdoor deck and glider, as birds and deer pass by. You are welcomed here.
An ottoman slides out and converts to a single bed (upon request) in addition to the queen size bed that sleeps 2making the studio ideal for a couple or a couple and an older child. Or just a quiet retreat for one. I've also added some original art by local artist Robert J. Mason. If you fall in love with his art, it is available for purchase. A small library in the nightstand features Oregon poets, stories and lore sharing shelf space with well loved short novels. The kitchen is well equipped with a 4 burner stove top for dining in and there are a variety of restaurants and a market with a full take out deli nearby. An apartment sized refrigerator will hold all you need for a longer stay. Coffee, tea, honey, sugar and yogurt are all provided for you. Everything about the space says "Make yourself at home".
My home is in a quiet, wooded neighborhood close to Hendricks Park but only one mile from the University of Oregon, Hayward Field, Matthew Knight Arena and several excellent restaurants. Easy walking distance to Pre's Rock, and about a 10 minute drive to downtown. I5 is about a mile away - if you are driving.
  • Bobbie's place is cute and cozy. After a long day of flying, it was great to come to a place that was felt like home. Bobbie is quick with communication, and so thorough that she often answered my questions before I asked them.

  • We had a great time. The tiny house had everything we needed and more! Everything was clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable for us and the house stayed warm. We didn't use it much, but the kitchen seemed to have everything you'd need in order to cook a nice meal. There were plenty of towels and the refrigerator was much bigger than we expected. The entire house was quality. We highly recommend staying here if you need a place in Eugene!

    Ian2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • What a great little home! The location was terrific -- close to restaurants, shopping, and Alton Baker Park. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and lit. The home is cozy and well-spaced. We mainly just used it to sleep and get ready in the morning, but it looked like you'd have everything you need to cook and enjoy hanging out. Lorraine was terrific about communication and everything was exactly how she said it would be. We very much enjoyed the stay!

    Cheryl2017-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very beautiful and clean, The space is in the corner of the backyard. The bed is comfy and the space is charming. Hot water is limited, quick showers. We really enjoyed the tall ceilings. Hosts Lorraine and John were responsive to our needs while respecting our privacy. Can't wait to stay here again!

    Kelly2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location, minutes from basically anything. Lorraine and John are wonderful people who clearly put a lot of care into their space. Would 100% stay here again!

  • Lovely little guest house -- private and quiet. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Great with my two dogs. Nice location, especially for Oregon football games.

  • Fantastic stay in Eugene! The hosts were kind, thoughtful, and welcoming at all points during my visit. The tiny house was adorable and had everything I needed. Super comfy bed and beautiful setting. I hope I get to stay there again :)

    Jen2017-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time staying at a Airbnb. We will definitely do it again! This cozy little Bungalow had everything we needed. Lorraine the homeowner was very sweet. We recommend this place.

    Anya2017-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Loraine's backyard tiny home was perfect for us for the two nights we stayed. It was extremely adorable and had everything you could ever need. We were able to make our dinner in the kitchen and even wash and dry our clothes. We felt welcome the first minute we were there. We had detailed instructions on where to park and where to go when we arrived and when we met Loraine she was extremely nice and told us all of the things we could do in town. The location is within walking distance of so many different things in the city. I highly suggest anybody stay here. If we are back we will definitely stay again.

Lovely, large quiet home near the Eugene airport. Situated in a quiet suburban setting in West Eugene, about a 15 minute drive to the heart of Downtown or 20 to the University of Oregon. LGBTQ+ friendly.
I provide basic breakfast foods and all the things you need to brew a delicious cup of coffee. Guest room has a 4k TV with netflix and amazon prime video.
This is a very quiet neighborhood with no through-traffic. It's safe, clean and welcoming. There's Albertsons a couple blocks away and a Winco just a little further. Nearby gas stations and convenience stores, too. There's a nearby multi-use trail that's great for biking and goes right through the scenic wetlands, all the way through Downtown and into South Eugene.
  • Place was nice, Clay was friendly - no complaints for me and I'd be happy to stay again if ever I'm in the area.

    Jacob2017-05-03T00:00:00Z

  • Emily was an amazing host with amazingly cute dachshunds! The check in process was very easy with step by step pictures, and when we were too tired to understand even those she was quick to respond to our frantic messages asking her to let us in, with a smile and a warm welcome. :) Thanks for making our short stay in Springfield as painless as possible!

    Linnie2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts are very kind and friendly. But it's a bit inconvenient since the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. Also it's not quiet since traffic noise even at late night.

    Gang2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Good communication, and it was great to get some advice on where to eat/drink. The bed is a bit squeaky and the air con was too loud to sleep with it on. But apart from that the stay was good.

    Patrick William2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Though I was not able to stay last minute, Emily communicated beautifully beforehand and was very flexible with my sudden change in plans.

    Isabella2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute room! Great location, TV had netflix and other channels, good A/C, overall would stay again!

  • Clean, neat spot. Older house but pretty well taken care of. Maybe 10-15 drive to the lively end of town. Definitely recommend!

  • Emily was very welcoming and provided enough information before I arrived, and self check in was convenient. Her place was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was downstairs but it was a private bathroom for the room. I had a nice stay and I'd like to recommend her place to everyone.

    Heidi2018-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Emily's Airbnb is definitely 5 stars! It is very cute, cozy, and relaxing. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean and private. I would highly recommend Emily's place to anyone and hope to visit again the the future.

My studio with kitchenette is nestled in the heart of the Whiteaker neighborhood. A bustling and eccentric urban area in Eugene that is packed with breweries and restaurants . It's also close to downtown, Autzen stadium, Sweet Life and the river.
My 320 sq. ft. cottage is an efficient studio. Two fit comfortably in a queen bed with an additional sofa twin bed for a child. It's situated in Eugene's oldest neighborhood. Esquire magazine calls it "one of the weirdest neighborhoods in America". It's a mix of bohemian vibe, urban funk and hippy love. Within a 5 minute walk, you'll find Ninkasi (local beer brewery), Territorial (a local winery), Sam Bond's garage (a bar/venue for amazing shows), PRI (the most unusual pizza you'll ever try), Meiji (japanese pub), a host of traditional mexican and thai restaurants, and of course, my bakery, Sweet Life Patisserie. The river is a short jaunt, as well as most places in Eugene as it is centrally located. On street parking and bus stops right out front. Keep in mind, this cottage is located in the center of a busy neighborhood. You'll often hear music from the local venues at night and an occasional rowdy bunch in the park next door. The energy of the neighborhood is festive and unique. There is also no AC. The cottage has a bathroom with shower, a fully stocked kitchenette with fridge and hotplate, and a queen sized memory foam mattress. There is also a 4 person hot tub with access to a beautiful deck. Locally roasted organic coffee and assorted teas provided. I live in the big house, so don't hesitate to call me with questions or concerns. Thanks, Catherine
Quirky, walkable, lots of fun neighborhood bars and restaurants.
  • Great little spot. The cottage was clean and the grounds were well kept. The bed was also extra comfortable! Great location- we walked to many great restaurants and breweries. Thanks!

    Amy2015-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint little cottage with modern furnishings. Perfect for 1-2 people. Clean and comfortable. Easy access w/privacy. Highly recommend.

    Heidi2013-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • My son and I were traveling north for a family reunion and needed a place to lay our heads. The guest house was just as described, set in a lovely garden, small, quaint. The directions given to us by Catherine were perfect, we arrived late and left early. Located in downtown Eugene, Catherine provided guests with a ready reference of local flavor; food style, cost, made me wish I was staying longer.

    Patricia2016-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful experience at Catherine's cottage. The space is charming, clean and close to great places to eat. Even when returning late in the evening, the pathway is nicely lit along the entryway.

    Adam2016-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a great setting! We arrived after dark and parked on the street. The main house was clearly one of the most attractive and best-cared for in the neighborhood. We let ourselves in through the gate on the side of the house and made our way down the gravel path. Our movement triggered the soft, welcoming lighting down the path. When we rounded the corner, we found a beautiful garden setting between the house and the cottage that is an outdoor room itself, with stone and wood chip paths, flowers, shrubs, berry bushes, deck, and hot tub. The pictures do not do the garden or the cottage justice. We "oohed" and "aaahed" when we entered to cottage. It is a beautiful, creative, and comfortable place, with IKEA-style furnishings that make the space feel very efficient and organized. With a vaulted ceiling, open kitchen, and picture window facing the garden, it feels much larger than it is. The bed was welcoming and comfortable, and there was a notebook on the table with more information about the cottage and suggestions for what to see and do. The place was very clean and fresh, especially the bathroom. We awakened to a lovely morning, and enjoyed our coffee as we looked out into the garden, watching the birds eat the blueberries. Emily took a stroll outside and spotted a hummingbird. We didn't talk to our hosts face-to-face (they said we might not see them), but this fit well for us, and we easily checked out by phone when it was time. We would go back to this wonderful space, but we would want to stay much longer!!

    Deborah2014-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage was wonderful and Scott and Catherine were so accommodating. We needed a place to stay unexpectedly and last minute, and Catherine got right back to us. The cottage was very clean, well maintained, and had every amenity you might need. The bed was especially comfortable! It was raining while we were there so we didn't get to sit outside, but there is a beautiful garden and porch. Very peaceful and restful. We'll definitely recommend it to friends and family traveling to Eugene.

    Lynette F2015-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was a great little place for my boyfriend and I. It was easy to find, and Catherine's check-in instructions were very clear. It was perfect for us because we just needed to stay for one night after a concert, but we would have been happy to stay longer. The outside is absolutely adorable. Thanks Catherine!

    Heather2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Catherine's cottage was ideal for our needs, clean, confortably firm bed, well stocked, beautiful yard, and vibrant neighborhood. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Catherine in person but her entry instructions were clear, she was responsive by email and we encountered no problems. I would recommend the Urban Whiteaker Cottage.

Peg's Place is in a sweet residential neighborhood of SE Eugene, a 10 minute drive from downtown & 7 minutes from the University area. It lies behind Tugman Park, which is an open, family friendly space. My place is good for couples, and solo adventurers.
You will find that it is very compact (ala tiny house - 223 square feet), with everything you need to be comfortable. Feel free to let your culinary creativity flow. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, dishes and basic food staples. The bed is the most comfortable sofa sleeper made. Check out American Leather Comfort Sleeper for details on the firm-ish foam (tempurpedic-like) mattress. You will find that the bed will be partially made, and ready for you to add additional delicious bedding. The bathroom will have all of the usual accoutrements, including a robe for superior lounging. The sink in the kitchen serves the bathroom as well. The space is perfect for 2 adults. If you have a baby with a small portable bed, it will be tight, but it can be done. The space is not child proofed, or child proofable. There is an alarm clock, a radio, and access to the internet.
You will find the neighborhood relatively quiet & family oriented. Peg's Place faces the backyard of the neighbors to the south. Like any neighborhood, you may see/hear them (above the fence line) go about their daily lives (they are great folks, never too loud). Because Peg's Place is adjacent to Tugman Park, you will hear the distant, delightful sounds of children playing, adult kick ball games, and people gathering. The park hours are such that noise late at night (park closes at 11) is pretty rare (but it has been known to happen). Mostly you'll hear the wind in the leaves, the birds & crickets singing, and when the creek's water is high, the brook babbling.
  • Peg's Place is fantastic. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Eugene. It was great for the 2 of us. A cute small bungalow but felt spacious and comfortable with privacy. She takes great pride in providing an extremely clean comfortable atmosphere. Great little patio outdoors to sit and have coffee in the morning. Peg is a amazing host and provided great communication regarding any needs we may have had. The personal touches were appreciated. I'm already looking forward to another stay at Peg's Place.

    Mary2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Peg's Place was the perfect getaway. The space was adorable and had everything we needed to feel at home. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for opening your home to us, Peg!

  • Nice place and Peggy was very friendly and communicative. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

    John2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • While not a Tiny House it was Tiny but the most welcoming Airbnb I have ever stayed at. Excellent in every way. The furnishing were elegant without being pretentious, the bed, the comfy chair, the kitchen utilities were home-like and in some case even better than my home. Her home and the neighborhood were as serene as a quiet retreat refuge. Peggy was most willing to acccommodate my somewhat irregular check-in/check-out needs. Peggy, herself, was absolutely delightful. I would definitely stay there again. If you choose to stay with her you will not be disappointed.

  • Ben and Elena’s studio was everything we needed and more. The space was a good size and the three of us were comfortable. Both beds were in great shape and were comfy. Both beds had very nice bedding. There was ample storage space in the closet and in the dresser. The kitchen was a good size and was supplied with everything we needed. All of the extra touches were appreciated. They really put in a lot of thought and effort creating this place. Thanks again for the great hospitality.

    Tanya2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a little gem! It was exactly what we needed after camping for several days through the national forests while road tripping. The space was just right. Nice clean shower, with honestly the most AMAZING towels. A soft comfy bed, a fridge for all our food we'd been lugging around in a cooler, and most importantly AC because it was super hot in Eugene. Ben greeted us and was so friendly and helpful, you could tell they really want their guests to have everything they need. I would 100% stay here again!

    Rebecca2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Elana's home was absolutely cozy and beautifully decorated. From the soft fluffy towels, quality shampoo/conditioner, great movie and game selection, peaceful patio, to the amazing hospitality and generosity of the hosts. We would most definitely return! We were able to bring out young toddler and there was plenty of space for us all!

    Breanna2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Elana's placed was fantastic! I couldn't have been happier. The studio was comfortable, inviting, and perfectly clean. Ben was such a friendly and warm host. Sadly, I wasn't able to meet Elana because she was away on work commitments. I definitely plan on returning here someday when my travels bring back to Eugene.

    Melissa2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Elana’s studio is clean, cozy, and the perfect spot for a stay in Eugene. If my boyfriend and I visit Eugene again we will definitely book again. Check in was wonderful with their key code lock and they also shared some of their products from their business with us. You won’t be disappointed with your stay.

    Evee2018-09-21T00:00:00Z

It is downtown Eugene as amazing as it is to be close to entertainment and restaurants. You will also hear the traffic of the street.
  • Great communication from Brianna along the way. Check in/out was very simple and smooth. Place was neat, tidy, and well decorated. Easy access to many spots. Very much enjoyed our stay!

    Kevin2017-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • The studio was everything we expected and more! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend 10/10x to anyone staying in Eugene.

  • Clean, close to University of Oregon, great WiFi and Brianna was nice to deal with. Perfect place to stay.

    Jay2017-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Brianna made everything so easy and she was incredibly gracious and responsive. The neighborhood felt welcoming and we were just blocks from so many fantastic places.

    Brad2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • The apt was very nice and clean! There were some beers in the fridge and coffee as well! Awesome location, was able to walk to a lot of places!

  • My partner and I are new transplants to the Eugene area. We arrived a few days prior to our place becoming available because I had to report to work. It was so great to stay in a place that we could treat like home until ours was ready. Brianna's response to my request was quick and timely. She clearly communicated how to access the apartment, as well as the rules for the building. The studio was decorated very nicely and the furnishings were quite comfortable. She even provided beer in the fridge for those over the age of 21. Parking was no problem at all and since the apartment is located on the bus line, I was able to take transit to work, which was a great convenience.

    Collina2016-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great space to stay at, especially if you are in Eugene to explore the city. For my work needs, the place was in a central location with everything accessible and a quick drive! There was coffee and beer at the place which was nice to see. The bed was pretty comfortable too and parking was available when I was back at the place. The only thing I would like to say is if you are in town for business and a light sleeper, be aware, you can hear the upstairs neighbors at night. Other than that, I very much would recommend this place!

    Dustin2016-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Brianna was so easy to communicate with! Place was just as described, nice location, easy check in, walkable. Nice amenities and loved having a refrigerator for the primary goal of long weekend was to do the Eugene Ale Trail! As commented by others, it was a bit loud with people above. Normal people doing normal things, but if you're super sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs.

  • David & Louise were excellent, very personable hosts, always ready to help and answer questions. Their place was newly renovated and professionally decorated with a spectacular view. It had all the amenities we were looking for, including high speed internet & premium satellite TV. We especially loved the comfortable beds. One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at.

  • That was a really nice experience. David & Louise made everything so we enjoy our stay. Neighbourhood is nice, quiet and clean. House is spacious, with convenient parking. David & Louise were friendly, gave us some useful references on local hikes and were ready to help with any questions.

Located in a quiet cul de sac, in the beautiful south hills, this downstairs suite features private entrance, fully furnished with queen bed, private bath, kitchenette and off street parking. Stunning view, wooded, wildlife viewing. Nightly/Weekly/Rates available.
We are in the hills, just beyond the hustle and bustle of the city. We love our property for it’s peacefulness and tranquility. We often see turkey and deer roaming about. We are surrounded by a lush variety of trees; including, but not limited to, Douglas Firs, Oaks, Red Maple, Japanese Maple and Dogwoods. We also have a plethora of ferns and rhododendron bushes. We are in Track Town U.S.A and are surrounded by various paths for walking, running, hiking and biking.
Peaceful and quiet, safe, surrounded by nature.
  • Great place, very clean and comfortable. Super nice host:)

  • This was my very first experience using Airbnb....and I really lucked out! I just needed a place to stay for one night prior to a backpacking trip and I found this really lovely little apartment hosted by Dave and Mary. I only met with Dave. He greeted me and was very kind. The apartment has a small area set up for some cooking although I didn't do any. Complimentary coffee, teas, creamer, salt and pepper available as were dishes, utensils, cups, glasses, pots and pans. Small fridge/freezer unit. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable...big plus to get a fantastic nights sleep before hitting the mountains for three days of sleeping pads and sleeping bags. A couple of "traveller's tips:" 1)The home is located in a gorgeous south hills setting. If you like to walk, you will love strolling the streets. However - do note that the driveway is VERY steep and a little long with no other way up to the apartment. 2) The home is not centrally located to Eugene proper (ie stores, restaurants etc.) so you will need to drive a little to get into town. Not a big deal just something to note. 2) The bed rests on a 7.5 or 8 inch platform which looks nice but really will require that you have complete mindfulness capabilities in the middle of the night when coming out of a deep sleep into a dark room.....or a night light. I will suggest this to the hosts so they might provide for this. There is a small light in the bathroom but it was not bright enough. I took a very hard step off the platform and got lucky not to have really had a bad fall. Definitely worth the price for a quiet and lovely experience. Hope to be able to stay there again!

  • It's a very nice neighborhood but there are a lot of steep hills.

  • Marcy's Hideaway lived up to it's advance photo billing. I was looking for a quite place and a good nights sleep before running a road race on Sunday in Eugene. Marcy's hideaway met my needs perfectly. It's on a quiet dead end street with a nice, private back yard that includes a hot tub and when in season, pool. The rooms were very clean and equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. The location is within easy walking distance to U of O and all the local options. Marcy stayed in contact throughout our reservation and provided helpful suggestions for our visit. I'd highly recommend and hope to return soon.

    Kevin2015-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Marcy's place was FANTASTIC! I loved every single detail and greatly appreciated meeting her and sweet Lucy The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was filled with everything I needed, the bathroom was light and bright, and living space was very warm and open with tons of natural light (and chickens to watch and enjoy). Marcy communicated everything quickly and clearly - and was willing to let me stay late into my check-out day (for work) for a very fair charge. I didn't want to leave and look forward to coming back with my small family!

    Lisa2016-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Marcy is a great host. Loved being greeted by her in person and loved the fresh eggs (from her hens), half and half, coffee and muffins she stocked the kitchen with for our arrival. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Everything was immaculate and well appointed. Marcy's dinner and hiking suggestions were perfect for us. We will definitely be back.

    Terri2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Yes to all ( see ratings and notes above). Marcy was attentive. The eggs were a nice touch. It was a lovely place in nice, quaint neighborhood. We liked everything except the steep approaches ( not sure what to do about that) and the fold/ out bed (fine as long as you slept "upside down"

    Will2016-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely space

    Chelsea Sabrina2018-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable. Breakfast items were so thoughtful. My toddler son loves the chickens. Floors are a bit creaky which is not a big deal aside from when the baby was sleeping. The hot tub was a great way to end a busy day. Marcy was very helpful and hospitable. It was a great stay and we would totally chose her place again when we return.

    Elizabeth2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Well, I sprained my ankle the day before going to Marcy's and could not go so my parents went in my place. They loved it! They found Marcy to be kind and charismatic, her place to be beautiful and accommodating, and took her up on some suggestions for local things to do, which they greatly enjoyed. They could not stop talking about how amazing their visit was! I will have to give it another go when I am recovered!

Tucked away, surrounded by native forest, Little House is about three miles and a 10 minute drive from both downtown and the University of Oregon. It's a mile from the Ridgeline Trail System, 15 miles of trails through 100 year old Doug Fir forest. And there's a bus stop half a block away! It's small, cozy, well equipped and well loved by all. If you're thinking of bring a pet, would you kindly read the "dog rules" and be in touch about who and how big your four legged is.
Little House began its life in the 1930's as a single car garage. Over time, it became a tool shed, an office and finally graduated into its current self when college-aged kids, followed by grad students needed a lovely little place to live. Cozy, it's nestled in a native woodland, most of which we planted ourselves, with filtered views out through Coastal Redwood, Western Red Cedar, Sword Fern Snowberry, Rhododendron, etc. Extra well insulated, with plastered walls and ceilings, it's finished out with natural, reclaimed Doug Fir and some wainscoting from the 1920's Eugene Dairy Cooperative. A vaulted ceiling over the living/dining space gives way to a sleeping loft and low-ceilinged kitchen and bathroom. It's a ship's ladder climb to the loft. The 7' kitchen as copper countertops, recycled fir and redwood ceiling and shelving, an under counter fridge, a gas range w/oven and handcrafted fir cabinets. The European style tiled shower/toilet room has an on-demand hot water heater for endless hot showers. Everyone who's seen it, and everyone who's lived in it has loved it. But it's not for everyone. The sleeping loft is low, the ladder up to it, steep, and a futon awaits at the top. But a window looks out to the North, and a skylight faces up for star gazing. Our lives revolve around making wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces for people to enjoys. Residential designer/builders, we do our best to create places that are harmoniously integrated with their native ecosystem. That's been our intention with Little House. The Ridgeline Trail system is not far, a couple of parks, a ballfield, running tracks/trails and the bus are close by. It's a comfortable three mile walk to the U of O or to downtown. P.S. Little House shares an acre with our house and is visually screened from us. However, we do have two and a half Border Collies (the other half is Retriever), who are very friendly, sometimes bark a bit in the night and whom we take on a 7-8 a.m. walk in the morning, making a bit o f noise.
  • I love the little house! Robin was communicative, friendly and helpful, and it was great to meet her and her dogs when they came by to welcome me in. After turning up the heat, I drank a steaming mugful of the tea and honey that Robyn kindly provided for me, and felt so warm and cozy that I fell asleep on the couch. Managed to blink myself awake to go have dinner in Eugene, then climbed the ladder to the lofted bed. Waking up under the skylights, I felt like a kid in a treehouse. Overall, a delightful stay in a delightful cabin.

    Amy2015-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • The little house is darling & I loved staying there! It felt cozy and roomy to me all at the same time. Great shower! Helpful info on hikes and places of interest were abundant and appreciated. Robyn and Dick couldn't have been nicer ... I arrived quite flustered because of a rental car issue and they were very helpful and kind. Another wonderful airbnb experience!

    Judy2015-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Little House was just as described in the listing and fit our needs perfectly. It was within pretty close proximity to most everything in Eugene. If I ever get the chance to return to Eugene the Little House would be the first place on my list to try to stay at again.

    Rachel2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Robyn was a great host. Her home is adorable. My favorite part was the chorus of frogs singing their lullaby.

    Erin2016-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Little House was absolutely charming. We had a great stay, and are now very motivated to live in a tiny house ourselves! Robyn was very friendly and considerate and it was a wonderful trip!

    Phylicia2016-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • The listing was accurate. It was about a 3 mile drive to downtown Eugene. It was a great little house.

    Marilyn2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • While our lack of decisive scheduling might have been somewhat of a headache for Robyn, she was extremely generous and flexible with us and our late arrival. We did not make it to Eugene until after 11:00pm but Robyn had already outlined exactly what we needed to know about arriving and parking even down to what kind of milk we would like with our coffee the next morning. The Little House was as we expected and more! An absolutely delightful and deliciously, cozy cottage tucked away behind some exceptional landscaping. The next morning Robyn and Dick were kind enough to let me join them on their morning walk with their herd of fantastic collies. It was an absolutely lovely introduction to Eugene and the hike took us a mile or so into the hills behind their house. It was a pleasure staying at the Little House and meeting all of the dogs and especially Robyn and Dick. Mitsy (the newest member of the family – a ~3 month old kitten) even 'helped' us pack our things in the morning! We'd love to come back sometime.

    Ben2014-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • This Little House is really a peaceful place! You can tell they made this house themselves, being architects, everything was in just the right place and beautifully made / finished. Robyn greeted us and we met all her pets... What a fine lady! If we come in the neighbourhood again, we'll book again :-)

Our backyard guest cottage has been freshly updated to create a jungle oasis full of sunlight and plants (now with air conditioning!), decorated in a minimalist modern style, designed to be a peaceful place to relax at the end of your day in Eugene. Located in a quiet neighborhood close to the U of O, an easy drive downtown, and within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping, you will be close to so much of the best Eugene has to offer, but tucked away from the noise and bustle in a peaceful, private retreat.
Our cottage is a welcoming retreat for guests of all backgrounds. It is the perfect quiet, private retreat for a single person or couple, and can comfortably accommodate small families with children of all ages. The studio cottage is earth friendly and people friendly. I keep it clean using all natural cleaners and we offer all natural soaps and laundry supplies to use during your stay. All of the plants in the cottage are real and help keep the air extra fresh. We strive for our cottage to be safe for everyone, including those with allergies and sensitivities. There is a kitchenette supplied with a fridge/freezer, double burner hotplate, and the largest convection toaster oven we could find, along with pots and pans, dishes, and everything you may need for cooking simple meals. There are 3 large grocery stores and 4 specialty grocery stores all within half a mile of the cottage. If you don't feel like cooking we are also surrounded by a variety of wonderful, locally owned restaurants, many within reasonable walking distance. The soft queen size bed is made up with 100% cotton sheets freshly laundered in all natural detergent. For guests needing an extra bed we have a pop up twin size cot available for a small extra charge. *If you need the twin size cot set up, please book as three guests, even if there are only two of you. This adds the $25 fee for rearranging furniture, extra laundry, etc. Thank you!* The large windows are equipped with room darkening curtains. The skylight is uncovered, but faces west, providing a gentle light as the sun rises. Direct sunlight doesn't come in the skylight until late morning. My favorite thing about the skylight is the sound of the rain on it. So relaxing! For your entertainment during your stay we have a flat screen smart tv with access to Netflix with a guest account. There is also a basket next to the bed with some books, jigsaw puzzles, adult coloring books and colored pencils. We also have a yoga mat in the closet for your use and plenty of open floor space to use it in!
This part of south Eugene is quiet, mostly family homes. We are a block from the post office and fire station, a few blocks down to the Amazon greenway trail, which leads to a fabulous new playground and swim center (in the summer months). We are within walking distance of many wonderful, locally owned restaurants, including Hideaway Bakery, a favorite local place for breakfast, lunch and coffee. We are a 5 minute drive to the U of O, LCC, and downtown Eugene. This end of town has many beautiful hiking trails very close by including many trailheads for the Ridgeline trail system and Spencer's Butte.
  • This is a great place! The location and value are wonderful, and Janna & Kendall are great hosts! Everything was immaculate--and stylish. Comfy bed and nice amenities. Our family of 3 was taken good care of. When our daughter wasn't feeling well, our hosts were kind enough to tell us not to rush on our departure. Wonderfully thoughtful hospitality! I hope we get a chance to come back soon!

If you are looking for a comfortable, simple, smoke-free and toxic-free environment then our rustic cottage is for you. Our 7 acre organic homestead is located off a quiet road just three miles from downtown Cottage Grove and 22 miles from Eugene.
Currently, we have a king-size bed and a single mattress in the loft and a full-size futon downstairs for sleeping. Or, if you would prefer, you are also welcome to set up a tent outside the cottage if extra space is needed. There is a kitchen, with a stove, oven, fridge and basic cooking utensils. We have wifi internet available with the option of turning it off. The bathroom has hot water, a shower, and a composting toilet. You can find more information on our composting toilet in the Humanure Handbook. We are excited to make our cottage available to folks on route or looking for a short visit in need of a simple, affordable and healthy space.
There are beautiful, scenic rides on the bike path along Row River that pass many swimming holes. In the summer, abundant blackberries are available for picking all along the bike path and there are plenty of apples in the fall.
  • I really enjoyed my one night stay at the Creekside Cottage. It was cozy and comfortable, and I fell asleep to the sound of frogs and a creek…a nice reprieve from urban living. Marshall and Katja were both very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed when I arrived, even offering to help carry my bags, very thoughtful! They are lovely people and I would definitely stay with them again!

    Lisbeth2016-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • After driving through insane rain it was so nice to settle into the cozy cottage by the burbling creek.

    Karen2014-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for being a great host, Marshall & Katja! We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and exploring the property. I wish we could stay any longer.

    Roma2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Marshall and Katya were terrific hosts. My boyfriend and I stayed here on a road trip from San Francisco to Seattle, checked in late at night, and were very pleased to land in this cute, spacious cottage - it's been mindfully set up for guests (featuring a great heating system that we were grateful for in the December cold). In the morning we chatted with our hosts and toured the farm a bit, and met some incredibly cute one-week-old goats. Overall our stay here exceeded our expectations! Thanks so much Marshall and Katya - we hope to pass through again sometime!

    Rowan2018-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • I came here for a bit of a solo retreat and this place was perfect for that. Maybe even a little large for just one person, but it was wonderful having the space to myself. This would be a great idea and a great value for 2-3 people. The composting toilet is something to be aware of, but it's adds to the experience of being on a farm. This literal cottage in cottage grove was perfect for me to turn off my devices and grab a breath of air. I look forward to the possibility of maybe returning one day.

    Patrick2017-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • 100% fantastic. We'd come back for the yogurt alone (totally amazing stuff). Just perfect.

    Dawn And Dan2016-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful spot, excellent for kids who want to hang out with farm animals. Delicious yogurt for breakfast (cow and goat), blueberries, and more. A few minutes drive from town, where there's great places to eat/drink. It's a working farm, not a modern condo, so be sure you're into that (composting toilet is one novelty). Was great for us, highly recommend.

  • The place is small but cozy and was just what we needed for a one night stay and breakfast at a reasonable cost. The hot tub was definitely a welcome feature. Shayla communicated clearly before our arrival and directions and instructions for entry to the house were easy. She also was available if we needed anything.

  • The room is lovely with a really comfy bed. The neighborhood is quiet and very pretty. It is located an easy seven minute drive to the Oregon Horse Center. We'd stay there again.

    Meredith2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • The room and the neighborhood were nice and easy to find. Cute and cozy space. The shower is very small, but functional. When we arrived she didn't know we were staying for two days, and promised to bring more towels but never did. I had thought she would provide bagels and juice but there was only 1 bagel and used cream cheese and the fridge was kinda dirty. The bed was huge and very soft. The courtyard outside with the hot tub was beautiful and serene and private.

Wonderful walking/biking area and a lovely neighborhood. Open and spacious, private and secure, light and airy. Come rest and relax or spice things up in your personal dream nest.
We spent so much time carefully selecting the lush and lovely decorations and made sure this space is funcitonal and cozy. The vaulted ceilings and windows around the studio make it feel so open and light. We love this space so much and know you will too!
Our neighborhood is pretty quiet but close to so many awesome things! We are close to downtown, U of O, the Whiteaker neighborhood and more! Super easy to walk and ride bike to many places!
  • This was our favorite stop of a week long trip! Freedom made checking in a breeze and had wonderful recommendations! She responded fast and had everything we needed and more! We walked to dinner and enjoyed the comfy couch to wind down and the bed was very comfortable! We also appriciated the washer and dryer as a bonus! We highly recommend this place to all!

  • This was a wonderfully styled studio. It was a perfect space with everything we needed. It was comfortable, cozy and convenient. Freedom & Eric are great hosts! The only thing that took us by some surprise were the departing tasks we had to do, given the cleaning fee cost. We always clean up after ourselves and like to leave the home tidy, so that was no issue. But having to put things in the wash and taking out the trash are the types of tasks we would expect would be included in the cleaning fee. This doesn't take away from the great experience that we had there and we are still super happy with our stay! We would definitely recommend. :)

  • We had a fabulous stay here -- there were lots of personal touches: the luxurious toiletries, the essential oil diffuser, the comfy bed, nice salt for cooking. I highly recommend! The neighborhood is also really sweet. I highly recommend! Eugene is also a cute town too. Nice Farmers' Market on Saturdays.

  • This is the perfect place to stay for a night or for days on end. It has everything we needed and was very clean. Freedom was so fast messaging with us when we had questions. The decor feels clean but home like in comfort and art. I am super sensitive to smells which tends to make me apprehensive about staying anywhere but this place was perfect. I had a safe haven to relax and decompress while away from home. Their home and many of the neighbors have beautiful gardens making for nice walks too.

    Ashley2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place is fantastic! Freedom has thought of everything to make you feel right at home. The location is pretty great, too. Just a short walk to good food and beer on Willamette or Pearl. I highly recommend it for a visit to Eugene!

  • Can’t say enough about the studio. Has everything you need for a great stay. Extremely clean and beautifully put together. Quiet neighborhood that is centrally located.

    Nathan2018-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • This studio space was beautifully boho with so many thoughtful touches. We were in town for a short business trip, and loved how close this was to the downtown area. Freedom and Eric were so easy to communicate with, and check in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again

  • This is my favorite Airbnb EVER! I stayed here for 5 nights with my partner while I was in town for an interview. The space is absolutely beautiful and Freedom and Eric added many thoughtful touches. You can easily walk into the main drag of downtown and it’s only a 15 minute drive from the airport! Freedom and Eric are great communicators as well. I strongly recommend this place!

The Rosemary Cottage is located in the heart of The Whiteaker. A short walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, live music, the bike path, parks and the Willamette River and just 10 minutes to downtown. It's perfect for one or two with a queen bed and gas stove. There is ample street parking and a shared back yard to relax in. I also have a restaurant in the neighborhood, Grit Kitchen & Wine where you are welcome to join with a guesthouse discount. Everyone is welcome here at Rosemary Cottage!
The cottage is a warm and sunny space, in the backyard of the main house. It includes a queen bed, a cozy bay window for reading and daydreaming, a private bathroom and a kitchenette (fridge, gas stove top, dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, basic spices, oil and sugar) Local coffee from Wandering Goat Coffee Co. and tea from JTea also provided.
The Whiteaker is famous as an artistic and free-spirited community and is home to many beloved Eugene institutions, new eateries, breweries, distilleries and wineries. Endless entertaining opportunities exist from a walk to the rose garden or the river to a night out sampling food and drink, a day at the skatepark or a night out dancing. All of this can happen without having to step foot in to a car.
  • We had a lovely stay in Ashley’s little bungalow. It’s very cosy and comfortable, well designed so that it feels bigger than it is and has all the amenities you need. We appreciated having a proper separate bedroom and sitting/dining area. Ashley was very easy to get in touch with, and self check-in was a breeze. Only thing that would have made it better is some curtains or blinds on the bedroom windows to help with privacy and sleep-ins! But that said, was a great place to spend a couple of days.

    Mattie2018-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is the sweetest little space. Very clean and the spaces were well thought out. Ashley was very attentive to our needs. No glitches. I will definitely stay there again.

  • One of my best experiences staying at an air bnb. The shower broke at 8:30 on a Thursday night. Not only did Ashley respond almost instantly, it was fixed professionally within an hour. It is a quaint tiny house in a great location and I would recommend to anybody looking to stay in Eugene.

  • This is a really neat little cabin with a great floor plan and kitchen.

  • Absolutely amazing stay, amazing place, amazing location. Highly recommend if you’re looking to enjoy Eugene!

  • Ashley's little house in the backyard was a great place to stay while in Eugene. Her house is near Blair Street which is a lively area, and is also a quick drive downtown. The studio has all new amenities with a nice kitchen, little sitting area and table, bathroom, and separate bedroom. We had plenty of privacy with a self-checkin, but she made sure that we had everything we needed. The house was accented with fresh flowers and blackberries from the garden. Wish we could have stayed longer. Really sunny and beautiful little house. Thanks for taking the time to make it an extra nice ambience.

    Avery2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Ashley was a terrific host! She was very communicative, answered all my questions quickly and accurately, and made check-in a breeze. She also gave us a coupon to dine at her excellent restaurant in town, and gave us recommendations of places to see, dine and experience while in town!

New 14-unit apartment complex built in 2016 located in downtown Eugene. The building has a cool mid century modern vibe. The studio is simple and fresh with laminate wood flooring & butcher-block kitchen counters. You cannot beat the location! A 3-minute walk to the heart of downtown, food & entertainment is almost literally at your doorstep. We're also a short walk to the Whiteaker district where you can choose from a plethora of restaurants, food carts, and enjoy a beer at Ninkasi Brewing.
Our studio apartment is private with its own kitchen & full bathroom. Please note, we do not own a TV or microwave. We have fast wi-fi so please bring your laptop or iPad in order to stream your favorite shows. **This is a downtown apartment and you will hear some street noise** **This is a 14-unit apartment complex, potential Nieghbor noise** Additional amenities: garbage disposal, dishwasher, coffee maker. Occasionally there will be ground coffee and beer in the fridge, please help yourself! Keep in my mind that this is a downtown apartment along with being within walking distance to amazing entertainment it also has traffic and pedestrian sounds.
Its downtown! Enjoy plenty of food, restaurants, and entertianment!
  • This apartment/room was perfect for my girlfriend and I when we were staying in Eugene for a weekend trip to see a concert. Being situated in the downtown area of Eugene, we didn't have to drive very far to get to our venue at the Hult Center. There were other amenities and restaurants near by as well. The actual apartment was very nice. Being small, but very cozy, the apartment was just the right size for two people. It had everything you would need to live. During our stay, we felt we had a sense of privacy. We only saw our host when we were about to leave. Between check in and check out, we didn't encounter any problems. If I were to stay in Eugene again for a similar event, I would certainly stay here again.

    Gavin2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! We walked downtown easily and our favorite restaurants were just a few minutes drive away. The studio apartment was clean and inviting. We enjoyed our stay!

  • This a sparkling gem located within walking distance of shops and dining. It is as pictured, the color scheme is soothing and fun! There is a nice stove where we cooked great food, which we got from the close by Whole Foods. The plush towels were a nice touch, as well as a big bag of coffee. This is a modern cool studio, nice A/C and fan. We enjoyed walking to the yummy Bon Mi and Mosaic Fair Trade, next to a Portland original VooDoo Doughnuts! We enjoyed the nearby Cascade Raptor Center. Also, we climbed Mt. Pitsgah! Communication was great with the host. We added easily an additional night! We would gladly stay again! This is a great value in the city of Eugene.

  • A great little studio, perfect for two people. It was decorated so cute, and everything was clean. The outside traffic noise was quite loud at night while trying to sleep, but other than that a great place to stay downtown, near lots of shops and restaurants.

Bright, private cottage in quiet setting within walking distance of shops, restaurants and parks. Located in the Friendly neighborhood just a block from Friendly park, you will find organic groceries, cafes, brewpub, bakeries, locally owned restaurants and a shopping center close by. Walking south, you can get to windy roads and a woodsy trail just a few blocks away. Our location is a 10 minute drive to downtown, a 15 minute drive to U of O and a 10-20 minute drive to several hiking trails.
The cottage is small, bright and simply furnished. It's nestled behind our house where you'll hear almost no street noise and have nature views. It has a complete kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, tea kettle, french press and basic kitchen supplies. In the same space is a tiny common area with a table for two and a fold out couch. The bedroom has a full bed, desk, and TV. The layout of the cottage is unique in that the toilet/sink bathroom is separate from the shower room, which is connected to the bedroom. The cottage is freshly painted with new floors.
Our cottage is located between the Friendly and Southwest neighborhoods. Friendly is named for Friendly Street, which bisects the neighborhood from north to south. The street was named for Sam Friendly, Mayor of Eugene from 1893-1895, who was a mercantile owner and helped secure the University of Oregon for our community. A few blocks from our cottage you can find parks, cafés, tea house, a natural grocery market, and several food trucks. Moving east a few blocks, you will find Woodfield Station mall and the South Willamette business district. On the Southwest side, just up Crest Drive is the former home of Senator Wayne Morse. It is now called The Wayne Morse Family Farm. This is the only city park on the National Register of Historical Places and includes 27-acres of park lands and the historic house in a natural wooded area and meadow. You get to a trail just few blocks south of our property.
  • The cottage was great, just as described, and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again when in Eugene.

    Natasha2018-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • The place was comfortable and was as pictured. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. It was difficult to find the house at night, as it was located up a hill and behind two houses. The place had many essentials such as utensils and shower products. The heaters inside heated the rooms very quickly and made the house cozy. There was water on the bathroom floor from moisture dripping off the toilet. However, they did let me know they're trying to find a solution to the toilet issue. Overall, It was a pleasant stay.

You'll find it is close to wineries, outdoor recreation, and golf courses, yet still close to Eugene, and an easy commute to both OSU and UO. Only 10 miles from the Eugene airport. There are two separate listings for this home. This listing is for the downstairs bedroom labeled as the “Syrah Room”.

Nearby there are several wineries/vineyards, Diamond Woods golf course, Fiddler's Green golf course, and several outdoor recreation areas including Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls. Convenient stay for both OU and OSU football games!
  • If you love breathtaking sunsets over the mountains or need a grocery store a mile away, this is the place for you. Placed in the humble town of junction city, this beautiful home sits in a modern subdivision with a view of the countryside. Eugene is less than a 20 mins drive. This fall you will love to take advantage of the near by orchards and wonders of nature which includes: streams, parks, lakes and waterfalls. The ocean is only an hour west and is worth the drive. The coast line at hobbit beach was on of the most beautiful sights we had ever seven. Don’t forget the local winery’s they are delicious from all of the local fruit. Amanda is a Super host for a reason. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy. Her home is your home and has almost every thing you could want. Her kitchen and living room is user friendly and there is plenty of parking. The house is usually spotless and quiet. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice quiet retreat location for business or pleasure. We loved it so much we booked another month while we get adjusted to relocation from the east coast. By far the best don’t hesitate to book.
