“What can I say? The food is outstanding, if not a bit on the pricey side... great for a Sunday roast. Definitely a firm favourite. About a 20 minute drive away.”

“A personal favourite of ours. La Bobina; the buzzing Spanish Tapas Bar located in Faringdon Oxfordshire, Bringing you a taste of Spain fresh every day in the fabulous building which once was a 19th Century haberdashery, still with all of the original features. By night La Bobina Tapas Bar and Spanish Restaurant comes alive with Spanish Music, often live flamenco guitarists creating a fantastic atmosphere for couples in corners or large groups enjoying and sharing authentic traditional tapas, with a quirky specials board including the daily mystery special ‘plato de misterio’”

“Superb pub and restaurant located in the beautiful village of Kelmscott. Combine a visit to the formr home of William Morris (Kelmscott Manor) with lunch or dinner here. Pretty outside seating area for the warmer months, or relax by the fire in winter evenings. Boking essential. No food served on Monday. ”

“As featured in The Guardian 'UK's 50 best Sunday lunches' A 16th-century coaching inn that welcomes Sunday lunchers with goose-fat roasties, cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. It’s the kind of lunch that is guaranteed to induce a rosy-cheeked, post-prandial nap. We are also intrigued by the “Sunday baguette” – your choice of roast meat, stuffed into fresh bread and served with a heap of roast potatoes and pot of gravy. A roast butty, of sorts. Booking is advised with the Sunday menu available 12-3pm. And dogs are welcome. ”
