Point of Interest
“The facility's South Bay is where most sightseers congregate. Here, the boardwalk is composed of good seafood restaurants and popular pizzerias and creperias, and shoppers can browse for his and her swimwear and sports apparel. Yachts, small motorboats, and other watercraft, with or without skipper, can be chartered from kiosks along the promenade, and tourists can also rent jet skis and other water sports equipment. www.marinadeportimao.com.pt”

“You will not eat for a week after going there. Despite this, the service is 5 star and the ambiance is spectacular. You must book as it does get very busy.”

“We love this restaurant at Praia dos Caneiros. We recommend that you book prior to going as it gets busy especially during the summer and weekends. Furthermore, they organise sunsets on summer weekends. Check them out. ”

“Among the things to see and do in Portimão is exploring the River Arade. This meandering 75-kilometer watercourse defines the city's harbor front and much of the surrounding landscape.”

“Well, if you feel like going to Praia da Angrinha and walk the sand to Ferragudo to have a nice meal at the fishermen quayside, this is the place to go, fresh fish, and a view that takes you from Ferragudo to Portimão and the Monchique Mountain range without leaving your table.”

“Probably our favourite. It's a tiny bit further away from Praia Grande and quite a bit smaller. There is a restaurant and thats about it. When one get tired of the big beach and trying to fight the waves and salesmen on the bigger beaches Pintadinho is a perfect choise. But its popular amongst the portuguese and one should aim to arrive there early if one wants to claim a place for sunbathing. We ususally go here for a dip at the evenings.”
