Museum
“A great "little" art museum. It is a historical building combined with a newer addition displaying varied art, new and old, often with a newer view on photography. Founded by an artist from Fitchburg that trained in Paris in the late 1800's. ”

Restaurant
“One of our favorite go-to places for dinner and drinks. Past guests have raved about it, and some have been repeat diners. The owner, Elmer, knows we send our guests here for dinner, and appreciates the patronage. You don't be disappointing by their food, and it's a local favorite for many. Reservations are recommended for peak dinnertime. Open Thurs-Sat.”

Point of Interest
“Follow the drinking gourd and wade in the water children, all the way to this place. It was a stop on the underground railroad. It provides some evidence of how escaped slaves were hidden on their way out of slavery. I have a great deal of pride knowing, that helping people escape from brutality is part of the history of the region I call home. My grandma used to bring me here as a little girl... To show me these historical truths, so that when I see injustice, I will like the people who once lived in this house, take a stand. And so I do. The lessons here are many... And it poses one of the most important questions each one of us will ever ask ourselves, the question, who do I want to be?”

Park
“Often referred to as the Jewel of Fitchburg, Coggshall Park brings you to a place to walk, reflect or just enjoy nature. A beautiful lake, rolling hills and rocks to climb on abound. The old stone house can be rented for functions and they often have music from the stone gazebo and sitting area.”
