“This winery is where we take all the out of towners. The tour and tasting is only $10 and it's inside a beautiful cave. They then have picnic tables and lawn games and hula hoops and it's just tons of fun to be out on their lawn during the day. Very kid friendly too. ”

“Chef's Dominica and Nic Catelli (brother and sister team) are the third generation that makes this Italian and CA cuisine wine country restaurant so special with it's award winning recipes that have been handed down for several generations. Dominica's paper thin 7 layered lasagna either in the meat sauce or vegetarian, there is nothing that can beat it, even from North Beach in the City! Their appetizer dish the Burrata with grilled sour dough slices. prosciutto and fresh arrugala sprinkled with olive oil and balsamic is just to die for...you can stop right there as it is a whole meal in itself! And then there is the very special 'piazza' in the rear gardens that can seat up to 150! Black and white with lots of marble and one of the largest open bars you will ever see, you feel like you are in Italy...very chic and very fabulous, this is a reservations only for dinners! Our suggestion is get their early by 5:00 p.m. for your reservations! The reservations need to be done in advance!. ”

“A bit of a drive, but worth it! Our favorite organic farm + winery. Take a picnic, buy a bottle of their delicious wine and enjoy an afternoon on their beautiful grounds. Bocce ball is available on weekdays. Farm store is chock full of yummy produce - bring cash for honor system payment. Their estate produced olive oil is worth the money.”

Winery
“Best family-friendly winery in town. If you have young kids, this is the place for you. Two tasting rooms on the property, plus a beautiful patio, grassy area for blankets, picnic tables, clusters of their signature red Adirondack chairs along the shaded banks of Dry Creek. Goats, sheep and chickens to keep the kids occupied. We like VMLs selection of wine better than Truett Hurst. Bring a blanket, buy a bottle, and kill an afternoon here.”
