“A street in central Barcelona, popular with tourists and locals alike. A tree-lined pedestrian mall, it stretches for 1.2 kilometres connecting Plaça de Catalunya in the centre with Colombus statue.”

Seafood Restaurant
$$
“It's a quite curious restaurant: it looks like a fish shop when you get in, so you can choose only the fish and seafood they fished that day. After you choose, they cook it and serve it. There are a few of this, one in El Born, another close to La Sagrada Família and a few others scattered around the city. The food is very good and the experience quite unique.”

The café opened on June 12, 1897 in the famous Casa Martí, and served as a hostel, bar and cabaret until it eventually became a central meeting point for Barcelona’s most prominent modernist figures, such as Pablo Picasso and Ramon Casas i Carbó. “Cal Pep presents a new way of cooking, different from the typical format of appetizers, entreés, then dessert. We have a fresh and bright culinary view, an understanding cooking, with easy and quick preparations. Our restaurant concept grew from the idea of sharing the dishes, their tastes and flavors, in a ‘tapas’-style. ”
