Grocery or Supermarket
“The only large grocery store in Ocean Shores. It has a good selection of food products and a surprising adequate liquor selection. It has a small bakery and deli and a decent selection of easy-to-prepare food items. There are times when the store is bursting with people and the check-out lines are long so we attempt to avoid visiting during peak times. Hours (Subject to Change): Open 6am - 10pm: Sunday - Thursday Open 6am - 12 midnight: Friday & Saturday”

“Interesting museum highlighting the contributions of local fisherman and cranberry farmers. There is also information about shipwrecks and local sealife as well. There are a few intact whale skeletons on the outside of the museum. A highlight is the magnificent Destruction Island [Lighthouse| Lens, housed on the museum grounds, built in France in 1888 by Henry Le Paute from the design by Augustin-Jean Fresnel. The lens was installed in the Westport lighthouse in 1891 and operated until 1995 when it was removed by the Coast Guard and went on display at its present location. The room that houses the lighthouse is brilliantly lit - my kids loved it! ”

Resort
“This place is rated as 3-star on yelp, but I have traveled extensively and I give it a 5-star. Locally owned and operated by a brother and sister, you cannot find nicer people than this. The location is on the beach, and the food and drinks are fabulous. The spa is across the street, with massages offered, hot tub, sauna, and pool. An incredible getaway! One pass per day comes with the trailer rental.”

Bar
“An iconic restaurant in Ocean Shores. They have a great bar for drinks and if you sit in the bar, one of the bartenders take both your drink and food order. If you sit in the restaurant, you order food at the front counter when you arrive and the servers bring your meal to your table after it is prepared. My favorite meal is the Caesar salad with Bay Shrimp. It is always fresh with an abundance of shrimp. They also are known for their Salmon and Chips and Fish and Chips dinners. We typically go during non-traditional meal times to avoid the excessive crowds that enjoy the restaurant. Hours (Subject to Change): Open: 11am - 9pm: Sunday - Thursday Open: 11am - 10pm: Friday & Saturday”
