Diner

“They have half a dozen egg omelettes and a dozen egg omelettes and were featured on Man vs. Food! They're also one of the rare restaurants in Seattle open 24/7! It's been one of my favourite breakfast spots ever since I moved to Seattle.”

Caribbean Restaurant

“Bongos is a newer place and a surprisingly good addition to Greenlake. Carribean food in a casual environment. It is a bit tricky to get across if you aren't familiar with it but there is an underpass walk to cross H-99 near the south parking lots at Greenlake, approx around 62nd St. (or you can cross at Winona Ave which is a bit farther up.)”

“Terrific burgers (and variations on burgers), as well as tater tots! Salads, chicken and other options as well. Plus, they make great milkshakes, with or without alcohol! Happy hour is a great time to go. There's a bit of outdoor seating, but not much.”

Fish & Chips Shop

“I rarely eat in the Greenlake neighborhood since the food there is marginal compared to it's neighbors. However, Spud's has been here a long time & isn't bad for what it is. (Ivar's is the best around Seattle though.)”

Mexican Restaurant

“Evenings, they have a woman making fresh corn tortillas that you can get hot off the grill. Their refried beans are fab-u-lous. Not the best Mexican food *ever* but yummy 'basic' Mexican food and super-convenient. Bar too.”

“The local coffee spot, an easy downhill stroll. Our daughter works there on weekends. Pick up your coffee drink of choice before continuing on down to Green Lake park.”
