“Grimentz - Moiry dam Starting point: L’Ilôt Bosquet Cross the bridge over the river Gougra and take the path that runs along the right bank of the river as far as the entrance to the gorge. Cross the bridge, then follow the road that zig-zags up to Les Plats de Moretta. The walk continues along a path that initially runs alongside the river, and then slopes gently up the hillside towards the Moiry dam. On reaching the foot of the dam wall, cross the road and make one last zig-zag climb to the top of the Moiry dam.”

“Take the cable car from Grimentz to Sorebois. At the cable car arrival point, take the path that heads westwards to the Corne de Sorebois. From the col (2835m), there is a descent of about an hour towards the Moiry dam, with a series of zig-zags at the start of the descent. You can either walk directly to the dam or chood to take the Chemin 2500 and do the Haut Tour du Lac walk, at an altitude of about 2500m) . From the dam, return to Grimentz by bus (end of June to mid-October) or walk back to Grimentz (about 1h45). ”

“Take the path that winds through the meadows, beneath the cable car of Grimentz. From Les Meyes, you can reach Bendolla either via the fairly steep path that goes past the chapel and then into the forest, or, if you prefer a gentler climb, via the surfaced road. From the point where the forest track is crossed for the second time, you can take the Chemin de Croix, on the right, which also goes to Les Meyes (45 minutes).”

“From Grimentz, easiest way is to take the lift Bendolla and then walk up to La Cabane des Becs de Bosson through Lona. Of course, you can walk from Grimentz to Bendolla and go on ! The trail quite steep during the first steps, runs along Lake Lona on an open plateau, to Le Pas de Lona . From there, the path goes up again and lead us to the hut. The panorama of the surrounding 4000-meter peaks is absolutely amazing and worth the trip! ”
