The home includes two working gas fireplaces, central air and heat, surround sound system, three televisions (including a 65 inch TV in the living room), and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances (includes a gas range, convection oven/microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator). Complimentary Wifi throughout the house will allow you to utilize the workspace to its full potential, or simply relax and watch Netflix or DirectTV with a glass of wine.
The home sleeps 6+ comfortably (1 king, 1 double, 1 queen air mattress upon request), plus two additional couches and even the ability to pitch a tent (and roast some marshmallows!) under towering redwood trees in the gated side yard!
The living room, dining room, den (off the kitchen), and bedrooms have new furniture and local artwork and photography on the walls, honoring Turlock’s rich history and its talented artists. The shady front yard is fenced with a privacy hedge and gate, along with 50+ year old redwood and Japanese Maple trees. The yard and pool will be professionally managed throughout your stay, so no need to worry about maintaining the large yard, garden, or raking any leaves!
The lush backyard boasts a gas grill, an outdoor television (May 1 – October 1), outdoor shower with hot and cold water, outdoor fountain, outdoor furniture and umbrellas (May 1 – October 1), garden, and pool. With over 15 mature trees on the property, this house is in its own urban park and is perfect for those who want to spend time with their family, relax after a long day’s work, or host a dinner.
The kitchen comes stocked with all the essentials, including a Keurig coffee maker and complementary pods, toaster, dishes, skillet, pots and pans.
An Electric Vehicle charging station with off-street parking is located on the property and is free of charge to users.
A washer and dryer are located in the home for your convenience. Additionally, a reputable weekly cleaning service can be arranged for $60-$100 per week during an extended stay.
Check in/out times: We are flexible with special check in requests! If we don’t hear from you about a specific time that you’d prefer and that we can also accommodate, the standard check in time is 3 pm and check out time will be 11 am.

Located right next to the historic Downtown Turlock, you will find local eateries like Bistro 234, 10 East, La Mo Cafe, Footers Hot Dogs, Loza’s Winer and Creperie, Crust and Crumb, Memo’s Cocina and Tequila Bar, Hauck’s Grill, First & Main, Lisa’s Cookie Jar, and Dust Bowl Brewery’s tap house all within a 5 – 10 minute walk from your front door. Seasonal events include the Downtown Fourth of July Parade, Turlock High School Homecoming Parade, and the nighttime Christmas Parade all within a 5 minute walking distance. Crane Park is 2 minutes walking, which is home to Turlock’s oldest trees in the city. Turlock High School, Julien Elementary, and Dutcher Middle School are all within a 5 – 10 minute walk, with Village Market, Starbucks, and Willie’s Wings all a 15 minute walk down Canal Drive.
Within a ten minute drive is also Turlock’s movie theater, the Dust Bowl Brewery, Costco, home improvement centers, and California’s famed In-n-Out Burger.
Turlock is also home to California State University, Stanislaus, which is just a quick ten minute drive to access all the amenities of the campus. Emanuel Medical Center and the Stanford Emanuel Radiation Oncology Center are both just a short 6 minute drive.
Looking for more adventure? Turlock is strategically located roughly an hour and half from the Mariposa gateway to Yosemite National Park, an hour and half to the ski slopes of Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest Lake, an hour and half from Monterey Bay, roughly two hours from San Francisco, an hour and half from California’s capital of Sacramento, and two and a half hours from California’s famous wine country in Napa and Sonoma. Turlock is nearly equidistant from several major airports, including San Jose, San Francisco, Fresno, Sacramento, and Oakland all being between an hour and half to a two hour drive (depending on traffic). Merced Airport, only 20 minutes away, also boasts a flight directly to Los Angeles with free parking.
