Our cozy, open-plan Cottage is the perfect couples retreat. Surrounded by lush green fields and set in the traditional granite courtyard of Hendra Farm. Woodland walks in the stunning Cornish countryside and waking up to the sound of nature will be sure to ease you into your holiday! The cottage is a charming space that has a warm homely feel, with the fire and underfloor heating. It is located just 20 minutes walk away from the heart of St Ives, away from the hustle and bustle. We accept dogs.
Come rain or shine, the cottage and it's sunny courtyard setting will no doubt create fond memories on any trip to Cornwall. With it's exposed wooden beams, high ceilings and great sense of space. We have taken care to make sure you will have everything you need for a comfortable Cornish retreat- from a fully equipped kitchen to all the local handy information you could need. Relax and unwind! I have grown up on Hendra Farm, although we don't have any animals (apart from our chickens!), we have a lot of land and space to roam about and explore, with woodlands, rope swings. The Steeple with it's 360 degree views to both coasts, in Steeple Nature Reserve is well worth a walk to. If you are looking for somewhere scenic that is a short stroll down the Cornish lanes to the town then this cottage is perfect for you. We provide towels- 2 bath towels and a hand towel- and kitchen essentials such as tea towels.
The Cottage is situated in the courtyard of Hendra Farm. There are 6 other cottages here, with 1 of them is a long let, 4 of them are holiday lets and my sister Kirsty lives in the last 1. It has a welcoming community feel, everybody is friendly and says hello whilst passing by.
  • A great little get away. Cosy and a great place to relax.

  • Hannah and Jayce were great hosts - accommodating and respectful of privacy whilst still being present and helpful. The house is a little dream, picturesque and situated in a beautiful garden. Would recomand having a car as it is a little too far to walk into town! Otherwise it’s a perfect getaway house!

  • Lovely accommodation, comfy bed and great tips. Loved it, highly recommend

  • If you are looking for a relaxing weekend get away to St Ives, studio 2 is the place to stay. It’s cosy, cute and clean. Jayce and Hannah are were very helpful hosts, very quick to respond to any queries and left us with lots of helpful recommendations for what to do and where to eat! We particularly enjoyed a walk along Porthminster beach followed by a cream tea at Porthminster cafe. We also had a lovely walk along the beach at Carbis bay. If you’re looking for delicious fish and chips then head to ‘Harbour fish & chips’ in the harbour of St Ives - worth a visit! Thank again Jayce and Hannah, we would love to come back in the future.

  • Prompt communication, fantastic and in depth recommendations that covered a range of options for us. Would definitely stay again! (And would recommend friends stay too!)

  • Hannah & Jayce’s communication could not be faulted- always responsive, very helpful, friendly & efficient :) We stayed in one of Jayce & Hannah’s cleverly converted farm buildings- one of 6 arranged around a cosy courtyard with paving/cobbles, foliage, flowers & a mature central tree. Outside each cottage there is a bench or a little garden table & chairs- lovely peaceful place to sit. Although the yard & cottages are at the end of a narrow country lane, we found the farm easily using google maps- though we couldn’t see a sign saying ‘Hendra Farm’ on the big, old stone posts at the entrance- but it was recognisable from the air bnb photos. Parking was easy in the lane just outside the entrance- no need to pull in unless you have to carry in a lot of heavy luggage. The little cottages felt immediately welcoming with the strings of lights draped decoratively outside- & lovely lighting inside too- thoughtfully left on for the arrival of guests. So too the under floor heating which made indoors feel very homely- The warmth was very welcome as we had had a 6 hours drive in strong winds & driving rain & mostly in the dark- cup of tea/coffee very much needed on arrival- these are provided- but remember to bring a little milk (& decaf, if that’s your preference). The cottage is open plan & spacious downstairs with a good sized kitchen with a table. There’s a sofa & TV area, & WiFi connection was easy. The bathroom is downstairs, tucked near the stairs at the back, all stone tiled with loo, sink & wet room shower- with toasty under floor heating too. Lovely :) Sleeping is upstairs under the eves on a mezzanine which lies over the whole downstairs footprint. Clean, comfy & cosy with more pretty festoon lights. There is plenty of floor & cupboard space for baggage. The peaceful, countryside location is great- I imagine, especially in the summer when St Ives itself is always rammed. If you have a car, it is less than 10 mins drive to centre of St Ives- or, if you have time & there is a bus stop a little walk away. We were driving, so did not locate the bus stop- but if the weather had not been so horrendous, given the nightmare finding a park in general space in St Ives, we would have tried out the bus! Even in horrid weather in Feb (tho, admittedly, half term), sharking round & round the official car parks, waiting for someone to leave, is the most likely scenario. Once parked, the cost is relatively cheap. All in all, we loved Hannah & Jayce’s style & appreciated their intelligent organisation. They also managing other lovely places on air bnb in/near St Ives that are worth checking out :)

'The Old Workshop' is a beautiful One-Bed modern home in easy walking distance to St Ives Town Center, Harbour, Tate Gallery, and beaches. The house has an open-plan living area on the ground floor with a spiral staircase connecting to the spacious light-filled bedroom upstairs. A perfect getaway for couples and singles wanting to escape the city and soak up everything that St Ives has to offer. Also, the entire home is yours to enjoy interruption-free for the entire duration of your trip!
'The Old Workshop' is a creative, light open space, with modern appliances (WiFi, Apple TV and NetFlix) that embraces a casual "Surf Crash Pad" kind of feel. The property catches the morning sunshine through the big open windows filling the space with light, perfect for sinking in to your morning coffee. A spiral staircase connects the downstairs living area with the upstairs bedroom, with Queen size double bed. There is also hard flooring throughout which makes easy work of sandy feet after long days at the beach!! There is a sofa bed available for an extra guest also. The sofa bed converts quickly and easily when you fold out the seat cushions. Great for crashing for a few nights but maybe not ideal for longer stays.
St Ives is full of steep hills as I am sure you are aware! Which is what makes this place great as it is on the relative flat with easy access to the town and beaches without working up a sweat. The house is located on Bedford Road, which is nice and quiet, safe with very little through traffic. 'The Old Workshop' is conveniently located about 150m from the nearest Convenience Store and Banks, 200m from the best Pubs, and about 400m from the Harbour and Porthmeor Beach (that's the one with the Tate Gallery). The house is in such great proximity to the town that it's really easy to pop out and back to re-charge, without having to spend the whole day at the beach or traipsing about town.
  • Really great location for the town, beaches, shops, parking.. everything was right on the doorstep! Fantastic communication with check in, the house itself and all the extras! A great little home! Included everything you could want for a stay. Would love to live there, it was perfect!

    Meg2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • A great location, compact and clean, comfy bed too!

    Chris2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Surf Pad is in a great location for exploring St Ives. Rowan was flexible and responsive about check-in time and other communication. Although it’s compact, the accommodation is well equipped and has good WiFi and TV! We really enjoyed our break there.

    Liz2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great little place, simple but well located and had everything we needed for our weekend away. There was great communication and all the information we needed was provided. Would definitely recommend.

    Autumn2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place for two a minute from the most lovely seaside town. An absolute gem.

    Lee2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Really good location and very clean would definitely recommended!

    Ella2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This stay was just perfect for a 3 day visit to St Ives. The property was as described in the profile, cute, comfortable and had everything I personally needed. Its in a great location a 5 minute walk from town, so is pretty much on the doorstep to access restaurants, food stores, and even better the harbour walks. Rowans communication was fantastic before and after my stay, any questions were answered and all information provided before arrival about the property. A great price too, made it a great stay.

    Andrew2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Rowan was quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us lots of tips on where to park. He was enthusiastic in ensuring we had a great stay. The flat was really close to the town and beaches and despite staying in stormy weather the flat was cosy!

A very cosy converted studio. In the heart of Gwithian village, quiet country pub 100m away, 5 min walk over sand dunes to the beach, bar and bistro 10 minute walk through the nature reserve. One double bed in a bunk style (you need to like ladders!)
The studio is part of The Old Post Office in Gwithian, we don't sell stamps but you'll want to send a postcard from here... The double bed is only accessible by ladder - kind of a double adults bunk, it's like being a kid again. The headroom is restricted, but it's super cosy - especially with the wood burning fire roaring below. One dog only please.
The village is a 'proper' village, although we do get lots of visitors to the beach in the summer or walkers taking on the coast path, bird watchers in the right season, surfers / kite surfers / windsurfers when the conditions are right - the locals never leave, which says a lot about a place.
  • Clean, cosy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

    Rachel2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Would recommend and would stay again :) very clean and cosy space. Great film selection, easy check in and out.

    Alice2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing hosts. Very small, but perfect for a couple looking for a quiet getaway. Kitchen and bathroom super stylish. And the log fire was amazing at night. There’s absolutely no phone signal in the house so it’s perfect for getting away, but less than half a mile away and you do get service. Would definitely recommend!!

Put a log on the wood-burning stove and get cosy after a day exploring beautiful St Ives. With exposed stone walls and a beamed ceiling with skylight, this quaint Cornish cottage is a place to create a memorable holiday. Wake up to the sound of birds tweeting and breathe in the fresh Cornish air. The seating outside in the courtyard of this enchanting cottage offers a serene spot for an afternoon cup of tea.
The cottage is a lovely, cozy space that has a warm and homely feel to it, with the log burner, exposed wooden beams and underfloor heating. It is located just a 20 - 25 minute walk away from the heart of St.Ives. Surrounded by lush green fields and beautiful walks in every direction, it just may be the perfect getaway from civilisation. If your looking for some where that has a scenic, peaceful feel to it, with the knowledge that just down the road you can be back to the heart of town, then our cottage is perfect for you. We have taken care to make sure you have everything you need for the perfect Cornish retreat- from a fully equipped kitchen to handy local information. I have grown up on Hendra Farm. We do not farm animals, so you wont be awakened by moo's or cockadoodledooo's, but we are sure you will love the space to roam around and explore the surrounding woodlands, play on the rope swings and fill your lungs with the fresh coastal air. The Steeple and Steeple Woodlands Nature Reserve are just up the hill. Come back and relax in this zen space. We provide towels - 2 bath towels and a hand towel - and kitchen essentials such as T towels. The closest bus stop is a 5 - 10 minute walk over the hill, which will take you to town, or other towns in cornwall. Or you can order a taxi to the front door.
Our cottage is situated in the courtyard of Hendra Farm, a short walk from St Ives surrounded by lush fields, woodlands, singing birds, and quiet Cornish lanes. There are six other cottages in the courtyard inhabited with friendly folk.
  • What a gorgeous little spot tucked away in the Cornish countryside! Every detail in the cottage has been thoughtfully laid out and the bed is super comfy! Jayce and Hannah were easy to get hold of and check in was smooth. Instructions for finding the cottage were really easy too as the sat nav only takes you so far. It was a great space to chill out for a few days with some wonderful views and walks in the surrounding area. Would gladly come back especially as all the COVID-19 madness meant we had to cut the trip short.

    Pip2020-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at this stylish cottage for 3 nights in March. The cottage itself if beautiful and full of character. The fire was a fantastic addition and we used this every night after a day of exploring. We did not meet Jayce and Hannah, but it was made clear they were available if needed. The cottage is located on a slight hill, about a 25 minute walk from town centre. We used a taxi to get in an out every evening (£7 each way). Overall, we highly recommend to others!

    George2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, accommodation and hosts. Several cottages located in a courtyard which is situated in a very quiet location. Very picturesque with great attention to detail. Great communication from hosts. Only a short distance from St Ives. Highly recommend.

    Mark2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were easily contactable, friendly and helpful. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. It is a 20 minute walk from St Ives, or a short drive. I would definitely recommend the property for any couple looking for a short stay in Cornwall.

    Joseph2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. Cosy and comfy and very clean. It was close enough to St Ives you didn't feel out of it but far enough away that you feel like you have gotten away from it all. Would definitely reccomend. The fact it was dog friendly was a deciding factor for us and the dog loved the wood burner!

    Ellen2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts :)

    Matt2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A homely, clean, cosy cottage set up in the hills above St Ives. Jayce and Hannah were the perfect hosts; detailed and speedy communication pre and during out stay. Lots of very good recommendations in and around the area; the Tinners Arms in Zennor being the highlight. The wood burner in particular was a welcome addition and really brought the place to life in the evenings. We would definitely return.

    Mark2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Despite the raging storm Ciara we have had a lovely few nights in the Barn. Its super cosy and our doggy Lola loved napping infront of the fire. Close enough to St Ives to enjoy it in the off season, but far enough to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Perfect. We needed to get hold of Jayce & Hannah and they literally called us within 5 minutes of our message. Thanks so much for our lovely little break, im sure we will be back!

A Unique and lovingly renovated apartment, within very close proximity to all beaches in St.Ives. With its own outside space that catches the sun all day and late into the evening. Its the perfect peaceful, relaxing and romantic spot in lovely St.Ives
No.7 Teetotal Street, is a lovely place to reside in St.Ives, somewhere to relax and enjoy! It’s a listed residence and a part of an incredibly old and historical Area in the town called 'Downalong' this is traditionally where the fishermen and their families lived and stored their tackle and nets. WITH ITS VERY OWN OUTSIDE SPACE (rare in St.Ives) that gets sunlight from morning until late evening. I have tried to create a little sanctuary with plants and seating space for you to enjoy. The location; nestled within a small but perfectly formed, quiet traditional St.Ives street that’s very close to almost everything you would need to access to enjoy your stay, from beaches to restaurants, shops and walking routes out onto the beautiful cliff paths and The island. It really is the perfect spot. Coming through the traditional barn style front door, you have a FULLY Equip KITCHEN, with complementary, Tea, sugar and coffee, complete with breakfast bar, should you not want to utilize the huge amount of restaurants to your disposal when considering your dining options. THE TELEVISION is on a full tilt and swivel arm style bracket that you can turn to watch whether cooking, sat at the breakfast bar in the kitchen or seated in the lounge. It has digital channels at your disposal (reception in St.Ives can be poor at certain times of the day , this is due to tidal times and the weather). However, I have attached a HDMI lead so should you wish to bring your Apple TV or equivalent, you are more than welcome to attach it. There is a DVD player and a selection of dvds for your use as well. There is free WIFI and the code can be found on the card secured to the wall next to the router and dvd player. Please be respectful of the fact this is a 'residential' connection and although streaming anything is not a problem the connection is not one that will take being used for professional use or uploading or downloading huge amounts of data or videos. This will basically knock the wifi out for a while and you will need to reset the router. THE LOUNGE has a big bespoke Ibiza style day bed/sofa that is drowning in lots of cushions, pillows and throws that you can cosy into at night and watch a film, or hunker down with when the weather gets a little wild outside (mainly in the winter of course). All the cushions on the day bed can be taken out and placed on the bench outside should you prefer to sit in the sunlight with a drink and a good book, we just ask you take care of them and do not leave them outside in the rain or while you are not at No.7. THE ‘SEA WALL’ in the Lounge, is a big part of No.7’s unique features. It is a little fun spot to go to for maps (old and new) of Cornwall, Penwith and St.Ives. Very importantly it also has its very own Thermometer, Barometer to see what the weather will be doing plus a Tide Clock, showing the hours to high and low tide, which as you will witness in St.Ives is a very visible daily occurrence. However most importantly the wall has 3 features that you may want to utilise either outside at No.7 or at the Beach… 2 DECKCHAIRS that are hung on the walls with hooks that you can easily lift the chairs off and carry out. OUR LOVELY STRIPY WINDBREAK which is also set on hooks that you simply lift off . Perfect to take down to the beach to shield you from the breeze while you hopefully bathe in the sunshine of St.Ives. Just a little request : Please do take care of these items when taking them out of No.7, they have all been made especially for me by local sail makers in Penzance and we really wouldn’t want them lost or damaged unnecessarily. Please make sure they are back in their rightful places when it comes time for you to leave. THE BATHROOM has a lovely hot shower that you can use at anytime of day (switched on and off using the pull cord by the bathroom light along with the bathroom light that provides extraction for the steam) and guest towels galore for you to use from our boat ore towel rails. Please make sure your sandy feet are rinsed off outside using the exterior tap before showering, sand really is not a friend of the slightly antiquated drains in St.Ives. THE BEDROOM has an ample built in wardrobe , to unpack and store your bags, or cases. A cosy Double bed, with reading lights and plug sockets for phone chargers and the hairdryer etc. It also has a beautiful window seat to situate yourself at with a good magazine in the sunlight or to use as a little table when sat outside so the seagulls do not suddenly take an interest in you ☺The window is fitted with a black out blind , but also a net option for a little privacy, and a heavier grey curtain should you want to block the morning sunlight should a black out blind not be your thing. There are little wedges for the sash window should the wind make the frames knock a little. I really hope you enjoy the space, as I do when I am in St. Ives , its very special to me but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Best Wishes Gemma
BEACHES: No.7 is situated within equidistant of 4 of the 5 main beaches in St.Ives, Porthmeor Beach being my favourite, but Porthgwidden is a lovely spot too and your closest one to skip to, along with Bambaloose Beach (its a tidal beach though so at certain times of the day it isn't that accessible). The harbour beach is literally around the corner too and is quite the hype of activity in the summer but good atmosphere non the less. Porthminster Beach is little further away, across the harbour (10-15 minutes walk depending how busy the harbour is). Go Explore and if you feel like a surf go and see the lovely guys at St.Ives Surf School at Porthmeor Beach☺ WHERE TO EAT: Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, The Harbour Beach & Porthminster are close to and attached to some really lovely Restaurants. You must try and get a table at the Porthmeor Cafe for dinner or lunch, if not West Beach (which is open approx. June-September) on the far side of the beach has a lovely menu and is a fabulous location to chill out and watch the sunset over the beach. Porthgwidden also have a fabulous restaurant, for lunch and Dinner with sea view to boot. The Porthminster Restuarant which is on Porthminster Beach is famed and reviewed countrywide for its award winning menu and is also a fabulous location. If you do not feel like the walk over there, then there is plenty on the Harbour front to head to. Just around the corner is The Sea Rooms which is lovely in the day and in the evening, with all fresh local produce with a fabulous wine list and relaxed feel. Alternatively The Porthminster Kitchen is highly recommended, breakfast , lunch or dinner, you really cannot go wrong there and is the new sister of The Porthminster Cafe. On Fore Street there is amongst others; The Seafood Cafe which is a popular choice and further down Fore Street near the market place is Black Rock which is always highly praised for their food. Olive's Cafe near Teetotal Street is a little hidden gem too and Adrian the owner will always make you feel very welcome, great cakes!! I painted the outside wall of the café and now the inside for him too so let him know I sent you :). Bars like The Hub, The Balcony, Beer & Bird , Blass Burger & West Beach (Porthmeor) are more relaxed in their approach but are great for well made and good quality food, mixed with a bar feel to them.... there are so much more but I will let you go forth and conquer St. Ives on that front. TAKE A LOOK AROUND Norway stores is your closest convenience store, for basics on Back Road West. Fore Street, and the Harbour are the main shopping areas, there is an off license called Johns on Fore Street, which is stocked with anything you may require on that front, The Allotment Deli on Fore Street has everything from fresh fruit, bread , pressed juices and veg to olives, sandwiches and picnic items for the beach they even do toilet roll & tea bags and are the lovely gang that provide your welcome pack of goodies☺ Make sure you go and explore the coastal paths and walks local to St.Ives, they are breath-taking! Take a trip to the Tate St.Ives and don't forget to see the Porthmeor studios and Hepworth Museum , a truly insightful way of seeing the art scene and its famous historical effect on the area, one of my favourites .
  • Perfect location for a short break in St Ives. The flat was lovely and clean and was ideal for a couple. We also received brilliant restaurant recommendations as well as lots of useful tips on what to do on our trip. We would definitely return!

  • Amazing property. So quaint yet stylish. The property offers everything you could want from a short weekend break to a week or more away! The property is very central and located just a stones throw away from The Island car park. The property was extremely clean and we were welcomed by a delicious loaf of bread, butter, milk and a bottle beer. Very cosy at night time especially when you turn on the coal shoot lights. Gemma is a wonderful host and was very helpful and considerate when we had to amend our original stay due to my Daughter not being very well. Excellent communication from her side. Excellent stay, we will definitely be back!

Spend a truly unique and romantic night in our tree house. Nestled in secluded trees, you can look up at the stars through the glass roof whilst wrapped in fur in front of the wood burner for the ultimate romantic experience. Enjoy a moonlit dip in the hot tub or a luxurious dip in the elegant freestanding bath. Awaken to the dawn chorus and swing open the door to watch the sunrise from the bed. Indulge in a sunlit breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pond and garden.
Treetops is a relaxing and romantic space. Guests have exclusive use of an enclosed and entirely private hot tub area. Guest can also enjoy the balcony, which overlooks a spacious garden area with large fish pond and gazebo. Enjoying the outdoor space is not solely limited to the daytime as outdoor lighting around the pond and gazeebo, enables guests to enjoy the beauty of Treetops by night.
Pub food is widely available within the area, the closest being 'St. Michaels Mount Inn' located within a two minute walk from Treetops and comes highly recommended. Trevaskis Farm is a great location also within just a five minute drive, offering beautiful food and a restaurant feel. Driving slightly further afield (about thirty minutes ) you could visit Falmouth or St.Ives, which offer good seafood places alongside some other options. St Ives, once a busy fishing village, now relies on tourism as its main industry. Turner came and painted a landscape in 1811 and art has played a part in St Ives' history ever since. More recently Barbara Hepworth and the Tate Gallery have put St Ives on the modern map. The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden is an amazing place to visit, and well worth it even if you're not a budding artist. Trewyn Studios where she lived and worked from 1939 until her tragic death in 1975 has been turned into a fantastic museum, depicting many of her favourite sculptures in the subtropical garden, is now managed by the Tate. The Tate Gallery St Ives was built in 1993 on the former gas works site displaying various paintings, sculptures and ceramics.Skidden House at the bottom of Skidden Hill is the oldest working hotel in the town as well as the first hostelry where Guinness was sold in the UK in circa 1760. St Ives and St Columb Major near Newquay are the only two locations left in Cornwall where 'Hurling the Silver Ball' takes place, once one of Cornwall's most ancient and intriguing customs. St Ives and Carbis Bay have recently been presented with a Silver Gilt as part of the "Britain in Bloom" campaign, they also boast some amazing north coast beaches. But the main draw of the town has always been the stunning golden sands and azure blue waters, with glorious views stretching from Godrevy and Gwithian all the way to Hayle.Porthminster at Harlequins apartments is central for the areas and villages of the west of Cornwall, Land's End, Mousehole, Penzance and St Michaels Mount. Facilities for golf, sailing, course and sea fishing are all available within easy reach. You can take country and coastal walks or visit local country pubs for well-priced meals or shop in the local superstores in St Ives and Penzance. There are a wealth of gardens to explore. The mines at Lelant, Geevor, Bottalack and Poldark are a short drive away. The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno beach are also well worth a visit.

  • St Ives is a lovely place , with plenty of places to eat, walk and shop. The flat was clean ,comfortable warm, and had everything we needed.

  • We had a lovely week in St Ives. The apartment is a short walk to the centre of St Ives and Harbour, which was great to wander in to collect fresh bread in the morning and a drink or dinner in the evening. It was a good base for exploring beaches near by - Hayle and Gwithian about a 25 min drive and able to walk to local beaches too. We loved walking back up the hill but there were plenty of taxis to take anyone not wanting to walk. The apartment had two bay windows - one for the main bedroom and the lounge where we were able to sit at look out over Gwithian bay across the way. The outlook was amazing, we were very lucky to have a sunny week which made a stunning view. Our boys had no windows in their room and didn't seem concerned. The photos advertising were very true to life. The kitchen was well equipped. The lounge was very comfortable and a nice place for my family to be together. Communication was excellent Parking was good too. We had a really lovely week here.

    Matthew2016-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, nice spacious apartment, well equipped and comfortable. We had a lovely time. Tyson's wife was very nice and let us in before check in time, this way we could unload the bags and food leaving us more time to enjoy the beautiful beach nearby. Would certainly recommend it!

    Kate2016-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is very spacious - plenty of room for our family of four. We were only here one night, but the location is great. Easy to find thanks to Tyson's great directions. Parking on site in back is also helpful. We enjoyed our stay although it was short.

  • We stayed at Jo and Marshall’s place for three nights in October. We were slightly worried about being cold but the tepee was warm and cozy. The kitchen with fire was really well done and we enjoyed sitting there in the evening watching the sun set. Perfect relaxing holiday- with added seals!

    Roxy2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Godrevy Glamping, and loved the beautiful outdoor feel but with all the home comforts. We stayed on a particulary wet and rainy weekend but still managed to keep warm and dry and the hosts provided extra fire wood to keep warm. Would definitely stay again!! Thanks again, Catherine and James

    Catherine2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay here, it couldn’t have been more perfect for our anniversary weekend. As soon as we saw the ‘Always Dreaming sign over the entrance arch... we just knew we had made the right choice! The bell tent is decorated beautifully, bed is super cozy and warm. Lovely bohemian style lighting inside, the finishing touches are lovely. The seating area outside with fire bowl, was great for stargazing on clear nights, and with a stunning sea view too. There is even a lovely warm outside shower for those who dare! Oh and a hammock too! The hosts are lovely and helpful and went to the trouble of welcoming us with lovely roses and a bottle of fizz for use to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect and we can’t wait to stay there again 🙂

    Miles2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so lovely, we could have stayed another week! Jo and Marshall were so friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location is amazing, awesome views overlooking Godrevy Lighthouse and beaches. The facilities were great - fridge, gas cooker and pots/pans/utensils all available to cook up an evening feast or morning breakfast overlooking the sea! The space is private, so it really feels like your own during your stay. Overall, can't recommend enough.. Jo & Marshall again were lovely and fantastic hosts. Cheers guys!

    Thomas2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very special and private glamping experience. Waking up to the sound of the sea and to the glorious views over Godrevy from both tent and cabin is something not to be missed. The luxury of the tent, the details and quirkiness of the cabin, the hammock, the outside space, the barbecue/fire pit and the hot outside shower all made this a perfect stay. Johanna, Marshall, Mango and the whole family are lovely and I would whole heartedly recommend staying here to anyone that enjoys getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

    Huw2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Really specially place, very peaceful, quiet, at one with nature and with stunning views. We loved lighting the fire pit and having a cold beer after a day down at the surf school. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!

    Eleanor2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is truly magical. The pictures do not do it justice! Everything from the immaculate bell tent, the kitchen/shower area, the view.. it was everything and more. Jo and Marshall made us feel so welcomed and at home, they are beautiful souls. I can not wait to stay here again. Again, thank you guys for what you’ve created, and for sharing it with us. I wish you all the best. And we’ll see you next year

Trewyn Studios where she lived and worked from 1939 until her tragic death in 1975 has been turned into a fantastic museum, depicting many of her favourite sculptures in the sub tropical garden, is now managed by the Tate. St Ives and Carbis Bay have recently been presented with a Silver Gilt as part of the Britain in Bloom campaign, they also boast some amazing north coast beaches. You can take country and coastal walks or visit local country pubs for well-priced meals or shop in the local super stores in St Ives and Penzance. There are a wealth of gardens to explore. The mines at Lelant, Geevor, Bottalack and Poldark are a short drive away. The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno beach are also well worth a visit.

  • An amazing week in a lovely flat in the best location - very clean and comfortable, within a 10 min walk of the harbour and 20 mins to Porthmeor beach. Only slight surprise was a lack of toilet roll on our arrival but am sure that was an oversight as the flat was incredibly equipped for every other need - including Tupperware for beach picnics. Had a slight issue with the shower (human error) and the host was very responsive and helpful. We also needed an extra 30 mins before checkout and the host was gracious and flexible, which was appreciated. Another great week in St Ives, we’ll be back!

We offer a private double room in a family home located in a small village in west Cornwall. We are a 10 minute drive to Godrevy beach and a good base to explore the delights of west Cornwall from. The room is bright and airy in the mornings and freshly decorated in calm tones. The shared bathroom is also newly renovated with a twin ended bath with drencher shower over and underfloor heating. As we have a young toddler we cant guarantee a silent night, but he is a real character.
Our property is a modern semi detached family home with gas central heating and double glazing. Since purchasing the house we have been busy redecorating through out. So far the bedrooms and bathroom are now finished and we are now working on the sitting room and kitchen. Due to this we can't offer the sitting room and kitchen for use.
We live in a small village in West Cornwall. There is a small village shop and we are on a bus route. Although we would highly recommend only booking if you have your own car. Reawla is centrally located between Hayle, Camborne, Helston and Penzance. We would recommend using Hayle for amenities. Within a 10 minute drive is Hayle beach and Godreavy with three miles of golden sands running between the two beaches. There are plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. Especially in St Ives.
  • Great place to stay. Jo provided us everything we needed including great local tips. Excellent location to base yourself to explore Cornwall. Highly recommended!

  • Jo's place is cosy but comfortable. She is a fantastic baker, and gave us some delicious apple crumble on our first day :) her local tips about the area were also useful. Their dog Harley is an absolute delight! I'd certainly recommend Jo to anyone visiting the area. Just a note on the location - it can be a little hard to find esp at night, but Jo's instructions are useful and she is easy to reach by phone.

  • We had a wonderful stay with a young baby, young couple and elderly grandparents. The place is exactly as the pictures - even better. Great location and everything you could wish for. The most incredible views - we would highly recommend.

  • Zareba is a beautifully stylish and comfortable house. The views of St Ives are fabulous. The walk there only takes ten minutes. The ground floor flat is useful if you have an aged parent with you as we did. We had some lovely sunny breakfasts outside on the terrace.

Small double country cottage room in a beautiful family 4 bedroom granite cottage. Nestled in dune land about 5 to 10 minutes walk from one of the most beautiful three mile stretch of golden sands in Britain. Big surf territory and surf lessons can be booked in advance. A short walk from the main town and train links; on the main line to Penzance. Private room with Wi Fi and own TV on request with plenty of storage. Views from the room over to Hayle. Please add £10 for two guests.😊
I would describe my house as rustic, perhaps a bit bohemian😊.There are plenty of cool spaces to hang out, a lovely bath to relax in with candlelight or an electric shower downstairs. It is clean and homely but not like a habitat showroom😊 We also have a lovely dog who sleeps downstairs and loves people.
Very friendly neighbours. I am an end of terrace, and all my neighbours will be happy to help if I am not about and you are stuck for directions etc. I also have links with the local surf schools, restaurants so can book activities on advance.
  • Great place and great hosts. Emma and her family were great hosts and accommodated me every step of the way even in some crazy times. I would highly recommend her and her space as it is a very good location and convenient to get around to all of the sites and locations around Cornwall. Their hospitality and guidance in showing you around makes all the difference as well!

  • Great welcome, Emma is a very friendly, welcoming host. Nice breakfast and lovely dog. Comfortable room. Excellent value.

  • Emma is overall a great host! She's got a quirky and interesting personality and can give you advice about your stay in the area.. from cafés and restaurants to travel tips and activities. There were a couple of gems, which we wouldn't have found on our own! She makes sure that you feel comfortable and welcome, which I really appreciated. The room is cozy and the window is facing the green backyard. I slept like a baby since it was so calm outside, no traffic sounds and such due to the remote location. Also, the beach is just a short walk away. Lastly, the breakfast is always fresh and tasty. I also shared a couple of meals with Emma and the fam and I really enjoyed it each time. An overall great experience, I'd come back anytime!

  • Had a wonderful weekend with my friend visiting Cornwall. The stay at Emma was amazing, she provided great hospitality and yummy breakfast. Would stay again :)

    Katarína2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Emma gave us a very warm welcome in Cornwall and we enjoyed staying with her really much. The location of the Cottage is brilliant, as it is located in a quite and peaceful area directly behind the dunes of a really large golden sand beach and is still a great base to reach all the important spots you need to visit in Cornwall. The room is very cozy and offers a great view over Hayle. There is a private TV in the room in addition to the TV room downstairs. My sister also made use of the large tub in the bathroom which was very relaxing after a long day of hiking. Emma even lit a candle for her for the purpose! We were allowed to use the kitchen which was convenient for preparing food for days spent outside. The breakfast was delicious and wholesome and lovingly prepared by Emma herself. The family has one really sweet and kind dog. So, as you might have guessed, we would definitely recommend to stay at Emma‘s for your holidays in Cornwall!

  • Beautiful location, lovely home away from home and an incredible hostess. Emma was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and gave me places to visit and surf at! Would highly recommend.

  • An old farmhouse feel, full of natural character. Emma is a lovely host warm welcoming and chatty and kind hearted too. Her little son Seb is really great and friendly and Cub their dog has a gentle sweet nature too. This place is a real home from home. Highly recommended.

We are 20 mins walk from 3 miles of stunning beaches and sand dunes overlooking St Ives Bay. The house is a recently renovated semi detached cottage with a lounge and kitchen diner downstairs. Upstairs consists of my room and a small but comfortable guest room and bathroom. The guest room has a double bed with a new mattress, TV and a chest of drawers. It overlooks the rear garden. The lounge has a log burner which is great for the winter. The bathroom is in immaculate condition.
Guests are free to use the lounge although this will be shared with my dog Ziggy and myself when I am home. The kitchen has a microwave, cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and dining table and also has access to the rear garden. Please ensure you treat the kitchen with respect clear up after yourselves and no cooking after 10pm. The bathroom is adjacent to the guest bedroom and has an electric shower, comfort height toilet and tall sink. Well behaved and socialised dogs over 3 years old. My dog is very well behaved. Please feed your dog in the kitchen not the bedroom. When first arriving please keep your dog on a short lead so that we can take them directly into the garden to get acquainted with Ziggy. There is a £20 surcharge per visit for dogs.
Hayle is situated on the opposite side of St. Ives Bay with a stunning stretch of three miles of beach and sand dunes running west from the estuary, which is an RSPB nature reserve and bird watchers paradise. Sandwiched between St. Ives and the Godrevy Heritage Coast with lots of easy to reach transport links, Hayle is a great spot to explore Cornwall from but there is also plenty to keep you occupied with in the town. The house is close to several supermarkets, shops, take aways, restaurants and pubs. The beach is a 20 minute walk away or 5 minutes by car. Where you can surf, swim or Kayak. It’s a beautiful beach which is huge when the the tide is out. You can see St Ives across the bay and there are lovely sand dunes which are part of the coastal path. Dogs are allowed on the beach at all times except for one area from between the 1st of May and 30th September when they are allowed between 6pm and 8am. There is a dog friendly beach at Porth Kidney which is about 5-10 minutes drive away in Lelant.
  • Very clean house. Welcoming host and Ziggy-the dog is superstar. Really enjoyed my stay

  • Lovely Cornish house . Very warm and friendly

  • Staying with Anna was lovely! She's very warm and welcoming, as well as Ziggy the labrador, who would come and say hi as soon as we'd get back every day. Anna had lots of interesting things to say, and it felt like we weren't simply guests, but she was sharing her house with us. Also, the location is lovely, and the house has everything you could need, so it was very cosy to stay there. We're happy we went there, as it was a great experience!

  • Fantastic and friendly host, that made our stay very comfortable. Gave us local tips to places to go and see. Super clean and great facilties. only 2 problems, one is we couldn't stay longer. Two, trying to book for next year, as Anna is a popular host. Recommend booking with Anna without hesitation.

Hayle is dominated by the spectacular 3 miles of golden sands that stretch north towards Gwithian Towans and Godrevy Lighthouse. A quite stunning beach that offers opportunities for sunbathing and surfing. When the wind is blowing, watch out for the windsurfers, particularly in the waves at the northern end of the beach. This is one of the best windsurfing spots in the country. Paradise Park is always popular with both adults and children with their fantastic collection of rare birds and animals. There is also a good indoor play area if the weather gets bad! St Ives, once a busy fishing village, now relies on tourism as its main industry. Turner came and painted a landscape in 1811 and art has played a part in St Ives history ever since. More recently Barbara Hepworth and the Tate Gallery have put St Ives on the modern map. The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden is an amazing place to visit, and well worth it even if you're not a budding artist. Trewyn Studios where she lived and worked from 1939 until her tragic death in 1975 has been turned into a fantastic museum, depicting many of her favourite sculptures in the sub tropical garden, is now managed by the Tate. The Tate Gallery St Ives was built in 1993 on the former gas works site displaying various paintings, sculptures and ceramics. From Penzance you can take the Scillonian for a day trip to the picturesque Isles of Scilly, well worth a visit if you have never been. 10 minutes down the road lies Marazion famous for St Michaels Mount, home to a medieval castle and a working local community. St Michaels Mount is accessible by causeway at low tides, or by boat. The castle is leased from the National Trust by the St Aubyn family who reside at the property maintaining and working the grounds. Penzance has a brilliant selection of supermarkets.
  • Stayed here for 4 weeks whilst looking for a more permanent rental property. A great little place tucked away in the countryside. Can be a little tricky to find (especially as we turned up in the dark!) Marilyn was very helpful and kind to us during our stay and went out of her way to help us when we needed help. Plenty of fresh towels and bedding and the place was always warm. No phone signal but WiFi is good. Thankyou for your hospitality

  • This was an amazing stay in a perfect location. Not only that you have a small stand alone house for yourself it is also extremely quite and you have a stunning view over the orchard. The equipment and setup of the flat is great and you will not miss a thing. Also the host was super friendly (thank you for the fantastic scones...) and helpful. Only the small street and entrance to the parking lot should be considered if you have a XL Jepp or similar.. High recommendation!

  • An excellent flat. Great location within easy reach of the town centre and a lovely view of Porthminster Beach. There were just the two of us and there was loads of space for us. A very comfy bed. We didn't test out the kitchen facilities - there are too many great restaurants in town - but everything seemed to be there. Highly recommended.

  • The apartment was very clean and as described. The local pub was closed for refurbishment but we took a stroll along the beach to 'The Rockpool' and had a lovely meal. Beautiful sunset on our walk back. We only stayed for one night but would recommend staying here.

    Alison2016-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was exactly as shown by the pictures and very well equipped (coffee maker, lots of knives, pans and sauce pans etc.). Good wifi connection, good location with very nice beach nearby. We saw Taylor at our arrival, he showed us the apartment and was very nice and helpful. He provided a cot and high chair as well. The only thing that surprised me is that the apartment is in an apartments building, but the other apartments were quiet (it was quite familiar) and we had a very happy Easter!
