“The village of Hartington is a short drive or a moderate bike ride from Butterton, it’s a thriving village with good pubs, the Charles. Cotton and our favourite the Devonshire Arms, it has a post office, great deli style village stores, country store and the famous Hartington cheese factory. They sell an exceptional range of local and not so local cheeses and all the necessary bits and pieces to go with. ”
