“Walk or drive to the Hillsboro Inlet. Watch the fishing fleet go in and out past the historic Lighthouse. Tours available. Like to go deep sea fishing... Bolo Fishing is the best.”

“Small, low-key green space on the water with a playground, picnic tables & scenic views. It's breath-taking during the day and magical at night. The panoramic view to the ocean is gorgeous. There are grills for barbecuing and one large pavilion. A lot of regulars fish and shrimp all night here and the water taxi has a stop on the pier. It's the best spot to view the Hillsboro Lighthouse and get amazing pictures of it from across the inlet. Amenities in the park include a small playground for the kids that includes a slide and swing, benches, picnic pavilion, short piers for fishing, Pompano water taxi pick up, and all kinds of interesting nods to Pompano's mariner past like a large anchor”

“Clean, quiet, beautiful small beach on the intercoastal. Beautiful place for family gatherings on the Intracoastal Waterway. It is a beautifully groomed park. Lovely place to walk through the woods. Fun to watch the boats go by.”

“If you're looking for a more secluded and less trafficked beach, Hillsboro Beach is your beach!. Located just north of us about 9 miles, Hillsboro is a fun beach to walk up and down exploring the huge beach rock piles and glancing up at the 20 million dollar mansions and yachts that line this small island. Plenty of parking behind the Embassy Suites. ”
