“I can't believe I have not eaten here sooner! We just tried this place via recommendations for years and it is amazing! French food narrowed down to four choices. Very cozy ambiance as well. The food is marvelous!”

Donut Shop

“The best donuts in LA. It's a rapidly growing fact. When they have them. It's kind of an artisan thing here and often they don't have the exact donuts you loved last week but they do have some methodology in the making that is clean and guilt free. Maybe the oil, absence of refined products - we don't know - but whatever it is we don't gain weight or have sugar crashes. ”

Thai Restaurant

“Los Angeles restaurant. 5-star reviews on Yelp. Get ready for a surprise though... it is in a crappy strip mall next to the 101fwy. You'll love the fake flowers and plastic table coverings. The place hasn't been remodeled since maybe the early 1980's. It is a two-person show - the woman who runs it and the one in the back who cooks. Seat yourself and you'll get menus along with People Magazine and other tabloids. If it is busy (they do a lot of take-out orders), get comfy and enjoy the magazines. It'll be awhile. Whatever you get is awesome, home-cooked food. If I had one meal left on Earth, Thai Pepper would be it. It is VERY VERY inexpensive, so please tip generously. ”

“Best place to WORK for hours. There are quite a bit of outlets, bring an extension or multi cord just in case. You don't need to buy anything, just message me for the wifi to get it. by 6 pm is when it becomes more of a bar and loud scene”

“Great for late night cravings (open7-3am) or a classic American breakfast. Not the healthy kind, but definitely the yummy, with items such as brownie dessert in a mason jar. Classic diner. Famous spot”

“Fresh, delicious donuts that are hard to stop eating. Of course featuring the latest sweet trend: the cronut. Moist, not to sweet, creamy on the inside, various selections, changing daily. Must try!! ”

Hotel
“This is a hidden gem. Walking distance to Hollywood/Vine. Their happy hour only goes until 6pm, but it's the cheapest happy hour in Hollywood. We bring our kids here on the occasional Friday night for cheap, great food, abundant cheap drinks. Later it turns into a hipster scene. Beautiful decor.”
