As interesting as it sounds, and everything in very good condition. Really comfortable bed, and a very cosy living room with the fire. We were well looked after. A very pleasant long weekend.

Quite simply one of the best places we have stayed on Airbnb! The place is clean, warm, cosy and perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The Treehouse is a really magical place to stay- especially if you have kids. It was a cosy, comfortable and well appointed place - it had everything we needed and more. Fiona gave us a warm welcome and so much helpful information about the island. It was an unforgettable place to stay- especially having the gentle sway of the treehouse rock us to sleep each night.

My 5 friends and I had such a great stay at this amazing place. The beds were very comfy after chilling in the main space with a wood burner going and some glasses of red wine. An Outdoor bbq, table tennis and games means there is plenty to keep yourselves entertained in a peaceful part of the IOWight. Only a 5-10min drive from the ferry if you head to Fishbourne which was great. Fiona was a fab host! 5 stars!

Beautiful unique place to stay. Everything from the lovely lit walk through the woods to the swing underneath and the secret room made this place so wonderful. Highly recommend.

The treehouse is fantastic. A unique experience, for sure. It rocks you to sleep at night, which is just so lovely and there’s ping pong to be had, if you fancy it too. Mr 11 was absolutely delighted by all of it. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll be back for sure 😊 Thank you

We loved our stay at Sea Salt Studio! Freshwater Bay is a lovely gem on the Isle of Wight, really calm and beautiful! We slept so well in the studio, it was really cosy with a beautiful bathroom and a lovely space to make our own for a short visit. We had a fun evening at the hip restaurant round the corner on our last night and enjoyed the tranquility of the place out of season! We got the ferry to Yarmouth and then cycled down to Freshwater - it was idyllic. We look forward to coming back when there’s a little less wind and a little more sun!

Great cosy place, I booked last minute and as there is a private and external access to the room I didn't get to meet Jason but he responded immediately and the place was waiting for me, clean and comfy, easy to find even in the night. I'd warmly recommend it.

Had a lovely quiet night away in the sea salt studio. Hosts were very friendly and provide a beautiful little space with lots of homely touches. Its a really nice area in freshwater and there's a cafe just around the corner for a perfect way to end the trip. Thank you very much for having us, we'd love to come back !

Jason's place is far better in reality than even the nice photos can show. It is cozy with lots of beautiful decor and everything you may need (dishes, cutlery, dish washing soap, a mending kit, local info, etc.). I highly recommend it! :)

The studio is a really lovely space: very cosy, beautifully decorated, full of interesting things. It's a small space but didn't feel at all cramped, it was very clean, and there were lots of thoughtful touches. We stayed in winter and I thought it might be cold but it was toasty warm with the heater. 5 minute walk to the beach, and a bus stop across the road. Lovely stay.

This cottage is the best Airbnb place we have stayed in. It is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and immaculately clean. The location is stunning- perfect for long walks along the coast. Communication, both prior to, and during our stay was superb and I honestly can’t think of how our stay could be improved ...except perhaps for the weather !!

As a super host myself and regular traveller I can categorically say that this was one of the best Airbnb stays I've had. Very high quality accommodation with quality fixtures and fittings. It doesn't get much better than this.

We stayed at Palomino Cottage for a Valentine break. It was perfect, despite Storm Dennis! The cottage was sparkling clean, every need taken care of and very warm and comfortable. It is in a peaceful location, no traffic noise, just the sea in the background. Mike made sure we had accurate directions to find the cottage, and the fruit cake and fresh eggs we found on arrival were a lovely touch. Communication was very good from the initial booking. A very good host. The location is great for accessing coastal walks, beaches and other island attractions. We had a meal at the Sun at Hulverston, ( 5 mins away by car) the staff were very welcoming, and the food good.

A warm, comfortable, clean, very well furnished & equipped cottage in a small, private, safe & peaceful complex, ideally located to enjoy the beautiful sights of West Wight. Brook Bay within walking distance with stunning sunsets not to be missed! The Needles and Yarmouth easy drives. Lots of local tips available from a friendly & helpful host. Highly recommended.

Our stay was perfect. The cottage was so cosy and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic - so close to some really lovely beaches. Mike even made sure the cake upon arrival was vegan - which was much appreciated (and delicious!). Would absolutely stay again.

This Air BnB was amazing! Every inch of the building was immaculate and surpassed every expectation I had. Zena left perfect instructions of how to find the place and the folder that was inside had every bit of information about the area of freshwater and the Isle of Wight. My girlfriend and I will definitely be booking again as soon as we can! It is PERFECT!

Zena and Phil are excellent hosts. Their venue is beautiful, their hospitality was excellent and comforting and their communication was impeccable. The barn was extremely clean and stocked with everything we needed, including logs for their log burner (which was perfect to have burning during Storm Dennis) the stay was wonderful and you could say the only thing wrong with the weekend was the weather. I highly recommend anyone to stay at Zena and Phil’s barn and will be more than likely to return myself in the future.

Had an amazing weekend. The accommodation was as described and pictured. A great and cosy environment with lots to do locally. The owners had a list of local recommendations of where to eat. We tried a few of them and where all superb. Great communication and excellent hospitality. We will definitely be staying here again.

This is such a lovely place to stay, the hosts are really welcoming and caring as they supply you with so many extra things. It is cozy and warm, with a co op close by! Definitely recommend and considering coming back!

Absolutely amazing stay - perfect little cabin tucked away with your own log fire and great location only a few minutes from Ventnor. Super friendly host who is quick to respond. We loved walking round the gardens and they have a delicious cafe with comfy sofas and a fire for a bit of added luxury. If you are coming in the winter we would Recommend bringing an extra duvet or blanket as did get a bit cold in the early hours when the fire burns out

The cabin was in a perfect location near the botanic gardens with a great sea view and surrounded by amazing plants. It was spotlessly clean and even though it was cold outside the woodburner kept the cabin really toasty inside. Would love to come and stay again

Very nice space tucked away down a hidden road above the botanical gardens. The free access to the botanical garden was much appreciated and we had a great stay. There was a storm whilst we were there and it was very cosy with the woodburner on. The dog loved it too!

An excellent cottage, very well equipped and very comfortable. Morgan’s instructions were accurate and comprehensive, and all was as expected. The only slightly tricky thing was the parking and access, particularly in a very wet February, but that won’t stop us returning again. Overall, highly recommended.

I booked this place for my boyfriends birthday and was a little anxious due to the fact that it was our first trip away with our 7month old pup, but it was brilliant! I think the dog thought it was his birthday - he loved it! Great location, the place is big and spacious, would be great for a group of people but equally good for the 3 of us! Loved the fire place!! Lots of fantastic walks near by (lots of god walks) - everything you need is close by! Lovely view over the fields - It’s worth noting for dog owners that the garden isn’t secure but still private. If your dog is good off the lead then it’s no issue, big enough to stroll around. Had a great stay and would definitely stay again!!

Stay at coastguards for a perfect peaceful getaway.

This a a proper little gem. It is great to dump the car once you have arrived and stride out from there over to Totland and Colwell Bay or up to the Needles Batteries. Nestled between Tennyson Down and Headon Warren, it is perfect for viewing the coastlines, the sunrise and sunset and to fully appreciate the ups and downs of the area. It is cosy and inviting, peaceful, well put together and hard to leave. A regular haunt from now on for us, we hope.

Nice cottage in an excellent location. Plenty of walks on the doorstep with great views over the island. We had 4 adults and 2 kids in the cottage comfortably, with plenty to do nearby to keep the kids entertained even on a cold rainy weekend. The kitchen has everything needed to cook in the evenings but there are excellent places to eat within walking distance or a short drive.

This is a fantastic house which is well equipped, clean and well presented. There were welcoming touches such as milk in the fridge and some wood to get the fire started! The place was cosy and warm despite the 100 miles an hour wind and rain we had during our weekend. We would definately recommend a stay here.

The place is really nice and quiet. Wenna is really warm. She helped us a lot. If we go to Isle of Wight again，we will definitely choose to stay here again.

The place of James is really a peaceful oasis: if you're looking for a secluded place, far from... everything, don't look further! It's a cottage with all the amenities you might need for a short stay: from the kitchen to the bathroom to the internet connection, everything worked perfectly. The only downside for us was the electric heating: we're used to central gas heating back home and with the humidity outside it was a bit unpleasant, especially at night when the heaters have to come off. We wanted to use logs but unfortunately the one we purchased from the local co.op were too damp to use. Other than that, it was really a perfect stay, we really needed exactly a place like that at this time of our life! The hospitality of Wenna, James' mother, was unique and her reactivity was truly appreciated. We had a wonderful time exploring Isle of Wight, which truly is a hidden gem! All in all, a great experience!

If you are looking for a cosy quiet remote place to relax then look no further. The cottage is immaculately clean. It’s small but comfortable. We visited in November but it would be excellent to visit in the Spring or summer. Winner is very friendly and accommodating if you have any needs. We will go back in Spring/Summertime.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Kennel Cottage in the IOW. The weather wasn’t great during our short stay but this didn’t matter. The cottage was so cosy and warm and full of surprises and nice touches. The log burner was an added bonus especially as we stayed in November. The setting was amazing! Only minutes from the ferry terminal at Fishbourne and yet really peaceful and quiet with views out over a loverly garden and farmland and woods beyond. We even saw a couple of Red squirrels as we arrived. James was a great host and his Mum who meet us at the property was really helpful too. We will definitely be back.

The property is very close to the port but still remote. The property is small but has all the facilities you would want and my wife and I had a lovely short stay.

A very secluded little spot ... a pheasant every popped in to say hello! The kitchenette is equipped but I didn’t use it as ate out with friends. The bed is huge and very, very comfy ... the whole place was cosy and beautifully decorated. Would recommend a visit!

I would highly recommend Emma’s place for a visit to the Isle of Wight. It’s a fantastic place that was spotless and had great little additions like milk, tea etc. There was a fantastic book about where to eat and where to visit. Emma was great and even walked to meet us when I got lost (I’m a nightmare). Would 100% recommend.

Emma and her husband are very attentive and responsive hosts. The setting is perfect, quiet, in a beautiful garden. The bedding is very comfortable. It's easy to get around the island thanks to the very good bus service so no problem to rent without a car. The accommodation is very well equipped and the decoration is beautiful. This property is set in a lovely location. It is so peaceful and comfortable but walkable to sea, shops and lovely restaurants. Emma is a great host, friendly and helpful. C visited in the autumn and can't wait to go back in the spring to make full use of the garden.

Great location, easy access, good amenities. A cozy apartment with plenty of space and excellent shower! Coast a very short walk away and great way to meander towards the town centre. However the town is pretty much dead in the winter with little open or very limited hours but that is also the same across much if the island.

We had a fabulous few days at Petit Tor. The cottage was warm, charming and cosy, with everything we needed as well as a few thoughtful touches which were much appreciated. It was spotlessly clean and we received a warm welcome from Susie on arrival. Even in January we were amazed by how green the Isle of Wight was, with many plants already out in flower in the mild climate. The Botanic Gardens, just a few metres from the house, are well worth a visit, and there was lovely walking in both directions from Steephill Cove which meant a happy dog! We visited Osborne House which is spectacular, also the Garlic Farm which had an excellent restaurant. Sadly our stay was too short to see everything but we hope to return for longer in future as the Isle of Wight has so much to see and do and is very dog-friendly. Highly recommend.

The house is ideally located for exploring the south coast while also being close to other attractions on the island. Susie was a fantastic host, very responsive and went above and beyond when I had a personal issue. Amazing home away from home!

If you visit Petit Tor, you will find an immaculate cottage situated in a beautiful quiet area with a private lovely garden area. The hosts were always helpful & a pleasure to meet providing personal touches (fruit, coffee, tea, towels & kitchen cloths/towels all tied with a ribbon bow. If you are thinking of renting this cottage.......think no longer.....book it!

We spent 3 nights in Sue's yurt to explore the Isle of Wight. The yurt is lovely and located in a beautiful garden with lovely views. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something other than a simple house or flat. We also got served a delicious breakfast with homemade jams :)

Our 2 night stay in the yurt was cosy and relaxing. The decorations are beautiful and every detail of what you may need has been thought of, including the breakfast which was a lovely treat each morning. Sue was nice enough to let us use her shower both days as we had spent our days cycling around the island, and we could store our bikes in their workshop. The yurt is a perfect location for cycling as it’s near the cycle path between Cowes and Sandown. The first night of our stay we used the microwave in the lobby to have a ready meal and the second we visited the stag pub down the road and both had very nice meals. Have already recommended staying here to friends and we hope to return!

Sue's yurt was absolutely amazing, a lovely stay with easy access to buses to all parts of the island. Sue provided a lovely thoughtful breakfast and we wanted for nothing!

Brewers Rest is an absolutely beautiful house with everything you could ask for and more. On top of this Danny is an excellent host. He responds quickly, nothing is too much trouble and he takes real pride in the accommodation and the standard of service he provides. We loved our stay. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Excellent terraced house in the centre of Ventnor just a short walk from the town centre and the beach. Fully stocked and spacious kitchen in terms of utensils and appliances and two well appointed bedrooms. The host is very responsive to questions too. Super stay all in all.

This is an amazing Airbnb. Lovely and clean. Very child friendly- it was nice to be able to put up stair gates and have a high chair provided. Check in very easy and Danny was a great host - very responsive.

Danny is an excellent host, the house was a really great place to stay to explore the island. Great for my little family. Really liked the kitchen area and that there are 2 loos. Always handy with kids!

Danny’s place is in the heart of Ventnor. It was the perfect location for us to stay while exploring the island. Beautiful Victorian house full of character and with all amenities. We had a couple of minor issues but Danny was very prompt in responding back and getting us some help. Highly appreciated the prompt and clear communication and recommend staying here.. we will definitely return back!

We stayed in Charlie's beautiful little house, we use Air bnb regualrly and this is the nicest place we have stayed yet. Check in it was nice and easy and the place was spotless. The fire in the living room was a lovely treat and helped to create a warm cosy atmosphere in the evenings. As we drove, we where able to explore the whole island with ease from this point, you can drive virtually anywhere on the island in 25 minutes. There was a coop and an aldi really close by for any quick shopping. It was a lovely house and we were sad to leave and we would highly recommend this place as a base for visiting the Isle of Wight. 😊

Lovely location and such a cozy little house. Host included firewood for the log burner that's the centerpiece of the living room. Convenient walk to Cowes, lovely views of the shipping yard and plenty of parking on the road by the house for the car. Charlie was a great host giving us some tips of where to go and was quick to respond to any queries we had. The place is well stocked but there is no microwave or freezer, no problem for us but worth noting! Lots of little touches like board games and books to make sure the stay was good regardless of the weather Thanks again for the lovely stay

Such a warm and cute, cozy home. Nice style. Great lay out and natural light. Super close to Cowes, Red Squirrel trail and UKSA. The wood burning stove was perfect during a cold stormy days. I’ll be back in February.

Charlie has a great home and I loved my stay. Very helpful and quick to answer any queries. So peaceful and relaxing when I returned from walks or trips out and about. Lit the log burner, had a good book and just completely cosied up on the full length sofa. It lived up to expectations, it’s a dear place and one I hope to return to.

Such a lovely place to come back to every night - warm, clean and cosy. We visited for a week in February in between the storms, but despite the weather we had a great time and was lovely knowing we had a nice warm house to come back to at the end of each day. Bree was fab, meeting us with a ‘hamper’ of some local produce/essentials. The property itself is in a block of 6 new-build holiday cottages and has been finished to a high standard with all the amenities you’d ever need: full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer, oven/hob and even a nespresso machine! Efficient central heating, tv, comfy bed.. what more could you want?! The en-suite has a lovely deep bath to soothe your aching muscles too. Coupled with the rural, peaceful surroundings makes this place a hidden gem. Will be booking to visit again hopefully in the near future.

Lisa’s place was lovely and cosy, with lots of extra touches to make you feel at home. Lisa communicated quickly, which was particularly helpful when we needed to stay an extra night because of the storm. We also booked into the local pub for dinner on Lisa’s recommendation and had a fantastic meal. We would definitely stay again.

A private comfortable dog friendly space to call your own with off road parking. What more could you want? Footpaths/cycle track that were once the old railway line on your doorstep too. Recommend for cyclists too as they have somewhere secure for your bikes.

Perfect little getaway, close to the Red Squirrel walking/cycling trail. Super comfortable with everything you might need. The accommodation was warm and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches such as milk, butter, bread, eggs, biscuits and fruit which meant you didn’t have to rush out and find the nearest supermarket. The bed was wonderful and comfy. We ate at the Pointer Inn on one of our nights, which is not to be missed. Best pub food we have ever experienced! We would definitely return!

Amazing stay and big thank you to Lisa for all the friendly touches and everything you need (eg. Bread, butter & eggs on arrival plus plates, cutlery, shampoo/shower gel, towels & more). Such a peaceful place to unwind and relax. The boathouse is well equipped and very welcoming. Bed is very comfortable and the furnishings are well thought out to fit the theme of the Boathouse. The little touches, including a delicious bottle of wine, make all the difference. The hot tub is a great place to enjoy the view of the estuary. A very short walk to Yarmouth town where we enjoyed eating out. Highly recommend visiting.

The Boathouse is a truly special place. Its location is fantastic, down a quiet lane with gorgeous views across the Yar Estuary where you can just listen and watch the birdlife or watch the sun go down from the hot tub. It's a stone's throw from a great cycle path and a stroll into lovely Yarmouth. The Boathouse has a lovely feel about it and its beautifully decorated and has everything you need - so well equipped! There was something magical about waking up from the very comfy bed to the view in the morning. Even during very stormy weather during my stay (thanks Storm Ciara!) I felt snug, secure and cosy. Nigel is an excellent host, quickly and generous with his recommendations and updated me when the property was ready (even before the check in time). Welcome gifts and essentials also very welcome. Would whole-heartedly visit again. 😄🤞

I always like to stay in new locations but this is the first time I really want to re-book soon and return! So beautiful and sensitively decorated. Thoughtful touches (even a bottle of lovely cold wine in the fridge) and advice on hand from Nigel whenever we needed recommendations or advice. The hot tub is the icing on the cake, watching the sunset on a chilly evening was so exhilarating! It’s so cosy with the wood burner too, the perfect out of season location for a dog walking, family mini-break, really can’t recommend enough...

I would like to say that this was the worst place I've been but that would be only because I wouldn't want anyone else to be there when we wanted to be there again. It would be completely selfish and I would rather know that others have experienced the same amazing experience that we have also. It's just what we needed to get over of a horrific year. This was just the perfect antidote to relieve us of all our stresses and worries. How much more perfect can it get than watching the most amazing sunset go down whilst sipping a G&T in the Hot Tub and then walking to the town for a lovely meal and then the next morning going on a wonderful walking adventure with our pooches starting right outside your doorsep. You can leave the car parked for the whole time and just walk to your hearts content. I have to say that it was only made special by Nigel and Sarah's wonderful hospitality and accomodating us in every way and responding instantly to any query or request. It was lovely to meet them on the final day by chance on a walk, They are wonderful people and that is what makes The Boathouse extra special. After posting all our wonderful pics online we have had so many people asking for the details... SO don't dilly dally and have the best experience close to nature and wonderful walks you can get AND ENJOY as much as we did.. See you again soon.. Roy & Lara

This chalet was just as described - very small but great location directly overlooking the sea; also very peaceful. It suited me very well as a base for visiting the Island.

This sweet little space is just a stone's throw from the water. If you're feeling adventurous would highly recommend a chilly early morning dip followed but a lovely hot shower in the cosy beach house! Although the property is very close to alot of other huts, it actually feels quite private and quiet, and is definitely pretty cosy - and a very comfy bed! (Maybe not the best place if you're tall though - low ceilings and enclosed bed)

This beachside chalet is the perfect getaway for couples. It’s got a lovely cozy and friendly atmosphere. Really beautiful location with some lovely walks around. Really enjoyed the walk along the seafront into Cowes. Everything you need in the cottage, just perfect!

Compact self contained 2 room annex to the hosts' house, with v good bed, TV, lovely shower, nice breakfast brought in to us. Friendly and helpful hosts. Very clean and really good value for money. Ideal position, 5 mins walk to our favourite bay (natural, no buildings, only a few wooden shacks, (one serves food in the summer). A good pub, the Crab and Lobster, on the cliff above the beach, with good food. Other good places within walking distance. A great airbnb find, we will be back!

Great little BnB for two. Very clean with good amenities - there’s a mini fridge and a microwave in case you fancy staying in one evening, as well as full laundry facilities. Breakfast is lovely and the hosts are extremely accommodating (my food allergy was catered for). A short walk from the beach and some lovely pubs. We’d definitely visit again!

Fantastic little break away for one night! Double bed was comfy and had an en-suite bathroom which was lovely, tea and coffee making facilities and wonderful continental breakfast bought to you in the morning! Couldn’t fault the place, it was lovely and very friendly hosts!

Sally and Christer are great hosts! They welcomed us in the cozy and well-equipped room and provided us with a lovely breakfast, despite our weird diets :) The location is great, really close to the beach and with lovely cafés and restaurants nearby. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying with Sally and Christer!

An excellent place to stay. A beautiful building in a beautiful setting. Quiet, relaxing and a very well appointed house. Host was really helpful, communicative and it was like a home from home. The apartment is spacious, modern and clean, based in a beautiful park with private parking. There was a welcome pack and also lots of leaflets and information about local attractions. The village is nice with some great places to eat, and is also within easy reach of lots of beaches and activities. We stayed in November, so the area was quieter than usual, but we still found plenty to do and see. Adam replied very promptly to us when arranging our arrival and was flexible with the arrangements. We would highly recommend this place.

The apartment is spacious and extremely well appointed with everthing you might require. The appliances are new and spotlessly clean as are all the rooms. The linen and towels are all of good quality and the beds are most comfortable. The apartment is situated in a peaceful and quiet parkland environment and very close to the "old village" of Shanklin. I would highly recommend Shanklin Manor.

We enjoyed our stay here - the photos don't do the location justice. Its in a nice quiet setting with lovey parkland all around and an easy walk to Shanklin and all its amenities. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us. We would recommend this property.

Great clean, safe, modern solid house built in a traditional style which really blends into location. Located at south end of Shanklin which is both quieter and better looking. However, still lose to some really good places to eat and shop. Accommodation has everything you need for a fantastic break / holiday. Adam was a really good host, efficient and good information provided.

Great hospitality and service

Wow what a lovely place to stay! Great location for exploring the IoW. My children (7 and 5) loved the location, the fossil hunting and the places to visit and Jacqui and Colin had loads of useful suggestions. The chalet is great, really nicely decorated and clean and tidy. Suitable for little children upwards. It has a little outdoor patio but the weather was horrible so we didn’t make use of it and just snuggled on the sofa and watched the waves. Jacqui and Colin are great hosts, quick to answer questions and they have provide some lovely touches - loads of magazines and books to read, lots of games and dvds. Netflix and Wi-fi were really good and the provisions provided were amazing - tea and coffee are daily standard but were plentiful along with cookies, milk, a bottle of red wine and chocolates. The kitchen also contains useful things like oil, ketchup/mayo, foil, cling film, flasks and plastic boxes for picnic bits! All really useful and unexpected. I would definitely come again

Three days of enjoyment. Extremely convenient to High Street. Jacqui and Colin offered some very helpful tips and made sure we were properly settled in. The chocs, milk and wine they left were much appreciated. The views of the sea were wonderful. Definitely recommend this place if you are planning a stay in Ventnor. Very clean and well-equipped.

This chalet is absolutely beautiful. In every way it exceeded our expectations from the numerous small personal touches to the breathtaking sea view. The house is beautifully furnished and equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need or want during your stay. The location is fantastic with only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Ventnor and short sea front walk to a great family pub. I would definitely recommend a stay in Seaglass.

We booked this place based on the sea view and... wow it certainly didn't disappoint! We spent quite a bit of time just relaxing on the sofas watching the rolling waves. Jacqui and Colin have really thought of everything. All the little touches made the whole place feel really homely. The cooking facilities were really good. The town centre is only a couple of minutes walk away and is idyllic. We look forward to returning next year.

My husband and I, along with our 8 month old son, spent a long weekend at Spyglass and we thoroughly enjoyed are stay. It was our first time in Isle of Wight, and we felt Ventnor was the ideal location for us, easy to get to the east and west of the island and is such a cool little town. The villa was furnished beautifully, with everything we needed, apart from a cot which we bought with us. The view was unbeatable, watching the waves crashing down with a cup of tea in our hands was the best way to start the morning! We arrived in the dark, but with the check in instructions given by Jacqui and Colin, it was quite easy to locate and make ourselves at home. They even popped by to welcome us. They had thoughtfully left us a bottle of wine and box of chocolates, and it felt festive with the Christmas tree up too!

Our stay at Seaglass exceeded all expectations. It is a beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, homely, welcoming and relaxing  place to stay. The view of the sea is wonderful, you can sit for hours just watching the changing colours, and the boats going past. Jacqui and Colin made us feel so welcome, and they have truly thought of everything you need to make your stay just perfect, no detail has escaped them. We'd highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed!

This is my first airBnB experience, we were truly impressed with Peter's property. Its best suited for a small family or a couple who would like a pleasant stay in the island. From the welcome note to the quick responses from Peter, he made our stay at his property pleasant and seamless. I will definitely return and recommend this property to my other friends. To our surprise he had a lot of ready to eat stuff which we could use during our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and functional which made it easy especially with a kid with us. The beds/mattress were quite comfortable. Overall the house made this trip to the island more memorable.

Great spacious flat in the centre of town. It was clean, and very comfortable all round. The flat was well equipped and tea, milk and biscuits were very welcome upon arrival after a long day walking. This little hut is amazing if you are looking for a reasonably priced stay. It has absolutely everything you could ask for. Ten minutes' walk from the town centre, this little treasure is tucked away at the back of Dan and Sarah's house. It is a Shepherd's Hut, so you do only have limited space which suited me fine, as I Iike to lie on the bed and watch TV. Right next door is another hut which is your own private bathroom. Huge bath but no shower. I suggest bringing a pair of flip flops to save you taking your boots or shoes on and off each time you go to the loo. There were 2 lovely plush bath robes as well. Huge choice of teas and coffees with your own fridge, which the hosts had thoughtfully stocked up with milk and pots of jam; there was also a selection of cereal and even Lindt chocolate balls 🤗 You are also in invited to use their kitchen for cooking and eating your meals. I would liken this hut to glamping and for the price you will not find a better accommodation anywhere. Thank you Dan and Sarah

This is perfectly priced, if you're looking for an adventurous and different stay on a small budget this is great! It is a kitted summer house/ Shed in the garden with a nice seporate bathroom 10 feet away. Heating is good and definitely required in the winter. Don't expect 5 star accommodation for the price. You get exactly what you pay for and I would definitely stay again if I needed somewhere on the island. Thank you

This is an amazing and stylish place with a huge bed

Had a great few days at Toby’s place whilst visiting family for Christmas. He’d even added a few Christmas decorations inside the apartment which really helped us feel festive while away from home! Will definitely book again next time we come to the Island.

I have come back to Bree’s cottages several times in the last year, and have plans to return in the coming months. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else on the island. The cottages are lovely, cosy even in the winter, great location and offer an ideal living space and base for my working/travelling trips.

Great modern purpose built unit, clean and tidy, warm and spacious... plenty of parking.. short drive from the beach... great value for money.... 👍

My husband, 9 month old baby and I just stayed here for a week over New Year (second visit in fact as we also stayed in the autumn!) whilst visiting family on the island and we had a great time both visits with no issues. Both of the chalets we stayed in were very well finished with all the mod cons- flat screen TV, power shower and bath, full kitchen facilities (oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer).... lovely lounge area, table and chairs on the mini patio out the back- lovely to have breakfast out there in the summer I imagine! We loved all the homely furnishings and a major bonus- the bed is really comfy! Lovely bathroom as well with plenty of space. Going above and beyond they also provide some local bread, eggs and milk. In addition- the hosts are quick to respond to messages over the air b&b app and there is very easy parking right in front of the chalets. Such a lovely cottage! Much better than what we expected! Cosy, warm, immaculately clean and easy to find. Rosie and Richard are super welcoming, prompt at replying and gave us very clear directions before we arrived. The kitchen and living space with a lovely fireplace have all we needed and even more! Board games, books, a comfy chair and sofa. The bed is incredibly comfortable with soft linen and (what a surprise) there is an electric thermal blanket too! The bathroom is spotless clean and soft towels are provided. It was just like a dream! We’ll definitely come back!!

Paddock cottage is a lovely, peaceful,open plan space with beautiful stone walls and a log fire. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Worth noting it is up an unsurfaced road - cab companies wouldn't meet us there and we had to walk to another road with our luggage. This would be the perfect stay for walkers or people with a car. Our second visit in 3 months, we really love Buttercup Cottage! Set in peaceful surroundings but near enough to all of the places we love to visit. All the personal little touches, the fact that it is spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, everything you could possibly want and fantastic views. Highly recommended!

Lovely place with everything thought about for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location suited us too, being surrounded by countryside but only a fifteen minute walk into the town. The local pub was a joy too with live music and friendly service.

Emma’s place is absolutely amazing! So much character a beautiful property with charm. So much thought has gone into every part of her home right down to the information book! I would recommend this place you won’t regret it, I will be sure to go back!

What a sweet place to stay! Emma was very responsive and accommodating when we arrived later than expected. The cottage is adorable and located on a small, quiet, tree-lined road with several old, nice estates to the north. We very much enjoyed our weekend there and recommend it for a quiet retreat.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The children loved having a real fire to light and sit beside, particularly as we were visiting in January. However I think we need more practice keeping the fire alight before another visit! The addition of room heaters also helped first thing in the morning! The kitchen was well equipped, although we only got to use it for breakfast as we were out and about for the rest of our meals. The location of the cottage was great and easy to find, even when arriving late at night. We would definitely recommend it and would like to return.

A lovely cottage - we had a delightful few days - it was a real home from home. Beautifully styled and a very well stocked kitchen, it truly felt like we’d always been there!! We loved coming back there each day and slept really well as the beds are very comfortable. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely. Lots of good information about things to do and the cottage’s location just outside shanklin is ideal. Rooted in the countryside but a stones throw from amenities. Perfect.

Beautiful house and lovely quiet setting. In driving distance of all the hotspots on the island and some excellent walks close by. Great log burner for those colder evenings! We would definitely reccomend the house and hope to be back soon!

Simple luxury to match the honest timeless quality of the island. And a great location, with real shops and bars round the corner, and easy access to the islands walks and beaches by train and bus. We will be back as soon as we can!

We had a lovely time in Jess’s accommodation. A beautiful little cottage which was perfect for us to have some time and escape while on the island visiting family. The house had everything we wanted and was perfectly located for some lovely beach walks and to visit the restaurants on the high street. Parking was a bit of an inconvenience but once we’d found some free on street parking it wasn’t too much of an issue. Overall we had a really lovely stay and would definitely visit again!!!

Lovely cottage in a great location. Central but peaceful. We would definitely stay here again it was one of our best Airbnb experiences.

The most lovely and comfortable space you can imagine. It was so clean, bright and fresh. It was super convenient to everything. If you need a spot to relax, this is it.

A cute, homely and well equipped cottage. Fuchsia cottage is a quirky place to stay and is within easy reach of local amenities and travel connections. We really enjoyed our stay here. Jess also allowed us to leave our luggage in the cottage prior to check in which was a help. Thank you.
