This home is beautiful! We felt like we were in a private paradise. I can't wait to go back! Also, Gabriel who is kind and gracious, made our stay spectacular. We ate iguana, had a massage by the pool, visited the nearby ruins, visited a beautiful historic church and so much more. We loved it!!

Casa Bamboo is a beautiful beach home with lots of amenities including a delightful cat who loves the admiration of her house guests. The layout of the property is very private and perfect for 2 couples with the bedroom suites separate from the living room and indoor/outdoor kitchen & pool area The beach is virtually private and the waves are big. If you desire a quiet retreat with few people, lots of white sand and hot, sunny weather, this is the place for you. There isn't much nightlife and there are only a couple restaurants that typically close by 5 or 6 each day. We cooked many of our meals and enjoyed shopping at the mercado in Zihua for fresh fruits, veggies and seafood. Shelley is a wonderful host and quickly responds to questions. She is very transparent about what to expect while staying at Casa Bamboo. Gabriel is is on site and extremely helpful. He is conscientious and friendly offering tips and suggestions for places to explore in the area. Everything was absolutely wonderful and I would consider a future stay at Casa Bamboo.

This is a piece of paradise with your own pool and beach! A secret hideaway ... if you dont want to be around people and just sit back and chill out. It is the most peaceful and relaxing place we have been to. Shelley and her property manager Gabriel keep this great little secret in great shape so that it is easy to "just be"! Leave all you cares and worries behind you. The whole time I pretty much lived in my bikini, swam, drank, ate and soaked up the sun and watched the fabulous surf and sunsets everyday. Her sweet little cat made it feel just like home, except it came with 34 degree weather! I highly recommend it if you want to relax and spend time with soneone you love or a group of great friends. We will definately return. It is a home to cherish, love and enjoy! Thank you!

I highly recommend Shelley's place. Your soul will get restored! The house is magical! The location is amazing! The people are endearing! Gabriel will take care of every wish you may have, Veronica will make you the most delicious food you have ever tasted (the best mole, ever), and Ana, the massage therapist, will make your body feel like new. I can't say enough about this place. I will be back!

Fabulous place. I don't want to tell you how wonderful it is because I'm selfishly afraid there won't be any more vacancies when I need it! I don't want to stay anywhere else. That should say it all.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It has the feeling of being your own hacienda. It is a lush oasis surrounding a welcome pool. We ordered breakfast a couple of times and it was really delicious. You are close to a great pizza place, OXXO store and right around the corner from the beach. On a number of days we had the afternoon to ourselves on property because people tend to go out. Dan is very communicative and a superb host!

This place is nice and low key. The pool is perfect for cooling off and the beautiful landscaping offers privacy from all the neighbors. The outdoor showers are a favorite of ours and beds are comfortable. Close walk to Playa la Ropa and many other amenities.

OMG!! What an outstanding place to stay in Zihuantenejo. Dan is an amazing host and the crew working at the Casitas are top notch. So glad we found this diamond in the rough. We will definitely be back!!

The Casitas is the perfect getaway for when you don't want to be too close to downtown. The rooms were clean and had full amenities. Tip: order the breakfast. Margarita's cooking is the best!

I loved this place! Having a pool on site and the beach nearby makes this a perfect lounge spot. The beach is less than 10 minutes away, we usually went to La Perla for chair rentals and the best food. I liked the outdoor shower and the room was spacious. At night I would close up the shutters and turn on the AC. There's a convenience store about a block away. Can't wait to go back!

The place is lovely with beautiful landscaping and privacy in the bungalows. The staff are excellent and always helpful. The pool was cleaned every day. Only a few minutes walk from the beach. It was a perfect place to stay for us and we will definitely be returning. Well done Dan!!!

My family and I went to Zihuatanejo for a full week. Fernando’s place was the perfect place for all of us! It’s perfect walking distance to downtown and both Playa La Madera and Playa La Ropa. The house was clean and large, and had everything we needed. I would recommend to anyone else visiting Zihuatanejo with a large group!

We stayed at Fernando‘s house for three nights. It was a large space, perfect for our family. Great location- easy walking distance to the beach, market, restaurants, everything! Quiet, safe street, so we got a good nights sleep every night. The air-conditioning worked great in all the bedrooms, that was important for us. The hot water also worked great, good water pressure too- we had wonderful showers. We had a lovely time hanging out on the patio and playing cards. The hostess gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations, and she was very responsive, super friendly. She answered any questions right away. We had a wonderful vacation here, and I hope to come back to this beautiful, spacious house with a group of friends next year!

Very good place to stay and very good attention

This place was perfect for our family reunion of 10 adults. We enjoyed having the backyard with a table to eat at and a place to lay in the hammock. The kitchen was great and we had several meals at home. The locations was amazing because you could walk to the beach and the market and easily get a taxi to go to other locations. We would definitely stay here again.

This house exceeded our expectations. Great location, safe, clean, amazing views, cleaning staff are nice, both pools are great. The for food and drink at the pool, are not bad either. Highly recommended.

A very nice house, with a beautiful view, the pool is very close to the house and has a good father slide, do not carry towels, there are more than enough and very clean, the unbeatable cleaning service, we loved it, we were 10 people and despite the fact that there are 3 rooms, they are very spacious and we feel very comfortable, definitely recommended.

It is my second visit and we remain fascinated and exceeding the expectation! It has services like a hotel but with the comfort of a clean and cozy house! And the cherry of the cake Mrs. Mari that is a charm!

We spent one month at this lovely condo recently, and really enjoyed our stay. The condo is exactly as the pictures show and it was very clean and comfortable, with an amazing view. The staff, including security, gardeners, maids and property manager Fabi, were very welcoming and took very good care of us. Dealing with the rental agent, Gloria, was quick, easy, and always professional. If there was any down side, it is that the property is about one kilometre from the main highway .. all uphill. We walked it many times and it is a bit of a challenge on a hot day. However, taxis are everywhere and not expensive. We highly recommend this condo, and would certainly stay here again. We were very sad to leave ..

The accommodation has a 100% family atmosphere and best of all, it is pet friendly. Peace of mind is perceived and you can be sure that you and your loved ones will have a great time between the pool, the garden, the room and the hammocks. Each floor has WC. When entering there are stairs, but it is worth every step. The pool has an ocean view so you can spend a relaxing afternoon watching the daylight vanish. And roast a rich meat on the grill that is in the garden area. Your pet can feel at home watching the squirrels walking from house to house with their beautiful fur. Simply an experience to live.

It's an awesome place to stay. It's quite at night so you can get a good nights rest, but close enough to everything cool in Ixtapa. Would definitely stay here again and I'm planning on it soon.

I loved staying here. The place is cute, authentic and quaint and so convenient to walk to the beach and town. I loved gathering with the other guests by the pool. The bakery items are out of this world. I enjoyed the sounds of roosters in the morning as it reminded me of where I grew up. I regretted splitting my time here and at the impersonal big resort in Ixtapa. Thank you Natascha you could not have been more accommodating and hope to return next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Porto Ixtapa in this lovely space. We have stayed in the complex before and were very familiar with the layout of the property which was really nice. The private pool is a special treat and enjoyed by our family. There are other pools on the property that are lovely as well. We come for the tennis which is great with well maintained courts that have been really quiet on the two occasions that we have come in February. We love the exercise but I caution that you should think about your ability to handle hills and lots of steps if you come without a car. We would definitely return.

This is an amazing villa! View is outstanding!! Very specious and master suite is amazing. Loved going to sleep with the cool breeze and sound of waves to give you sweet dreams. The Pool even though a bit cool was very refreshing after a hot day in town. If you love privacy with a Mexican vibe and and just want to unwind in a beautiful location this is the place for you. Even though in a quiet location it is just a 15 minute walk up and down the hill to the bus stop to take you to the action. Gloria was great to take care of any of the minor issues that needed to be taken care of. Hope to return soon:)

Gloria has a wonderful house. 3 floors, private security that is very friendly and available at any time of the day. If you find it difficult to climb from one floor to another I do not recommend

You don’t need to look any further for your vacation home in Ixtapa this is a dream home. The location is perfect everything is close by, the staff and owners are very kind and respond quickly to the messages. The home is very clean & has all the basic amenities you & your family would need. Each morning was breath taking the view is beautiful. Our favorite place of the home was the pool. It’s very clean and has a amazing view to the ocean.

This was worth the expense. From the beginning, Gloria was very helpful with all of our questions and provided quick response. She sent a screenshot of the location while we were renting our vehicle which made it incredibly easy to find the house. Upon arrival we were greeted by Security staff which were very courteous and helpful. The handed us the keys and showed us how to open the entrance gate. We were left to our privacy and not bothered for the remainder of the Vacation (which was contrary to what other review have noted). Thank you. The place was Super clean and had a wonderful home feeling to it. Plenty of space, restrooms and areas for private and peaceful time. The place was supplied with all the necessities one can think of? Towels in every room and pool area, enough dishes to cook for two large families, air conditioners in each room, all restroom essentials. Most important, our privacy was respected and the only persons we ever saw were the housekeeper's who were there twice to clean the rooms. They were super friendly and respectful. We were respectful of the Eco-Friendly environment and made every effort to turn off air conditioner and lights each time we left for prolonged periods. We had no concerns of loud music or disruptive neighbors. As a matter of fact, there are enough plants and Palm trees surrounding the property to provide all the privacy needed. We had no concerns of peering neighbors or our privacy being violated. The location of the property was perfect and within minutes of restaurants and bars. Downtown Zihuatinejo was also within 20 minute drive. Alll in all , an almost perfect stay for us. Our only concern is that AirBnb has gotten carried away with extra fees and should change the way rates are charged to encourage more clients. The price for 2 people was somewhat steep and adding my two sons for a total of 4 made it a very expensive and somewhat unreasonable rent. Thank you Gloria and Andres...

The place is amazing, in an excellent location opposite bars, restaurants and the handicraft market. Thanks to Mario's prompt response and kindness, the holidays were incredible. In the place they have a restaurant service and if you want to play on the beach the administration of the departments lend you ball and goal so you can play on the beach.

Amazing apartment. Mario is an excellent host, he was always aware of everything we needed and willing to help. The apartment is as shown in the images and the unbeatable view. Walking you can find restaurants and shops. The marina is a 20 minute walk, although public transport also passes right in front of the apartment. We visited it the first week of August and the temperatures were high but the pool and jacuzzi were practically for us. Everything was excellent, we would definitely stay with Mario again.

Fabulous, comfortable villa. Lovely grounds, spacious home, fabulous co-host, Jacquie. lovely housekeeper who cooked for us when we wanted. Jacquie made sure that anything that we wanted or needed was delivered within a couple of hours. She gave us wonderful recommedations and provided numbers for taxi drivers and much, much more. Jacquie and Rosey will take wonderful care of you!!!

This house is very well located is large and comfortable. We loved the spaces for the whole family, children and adults. The lady who does the cleaning cooks very rich. We were happy !!!

The house is huge and beautiful. It has many spaces that allow you to do different things (pool, hammock, TV room, tub) We enjoy the garden greatly. The subdivision is very quiet, ideal for traveling with children. Jacqueline and Rosy were always on the lookout, solving all our doubts and providing us with transport contacts and so on. A pleasure to travel!

The accommodation is as the photos describe it, in a good area and central to the tourist walks. We only had one detail with the total cost, a matter of being clear with the host from the beginning by message and not being carried away by the cost that the page gives you. In general we had a great time.

The house is beautiful, the beds very comfortable, the communication with the owners is very good, they respond super fast and are very attentive, the house has many animals, squirrels, birds, iguanas, being in the pool is the same as enjoying an incredible landscape and full of life, it's like being in the middle of the jungle. To us who are early risers Rosy's schedule was not comfortable for breakfast but having someone to help you with the cleaning is a good plus.

The place is amazing. You feel like a tourist when you’re out an about Ixtapa, but right at home as soon as you get back. The house is clean, spacious and an absolute beauty. Doña Rosy was absolutely great. She would keep the house spotless and would even cook if asked. Her Chiles Rellenos are the best we’ve ever had. Jacquie was there to greet us and show us the home, even took the time to guide us to a near by grocery store. She would call almost daily to make sure everything was alright and ask if we needed anything. If you’re planning a trip to Ixtapa, there is no where better to stay.

Thanks you so much for the most beautiful time. This magical house created so much joy, laughter and happiness for my friends and family, we really couldn’t of found a better location. All the staff at the house are wonderful, Rosa took great care of us and made us feel like we was at home. I couldn’t wish for a more better birthday. Can’t wait to come back again

Excellent space. Exceeded my expectations.

Although the apartment is small, it has everything to spend some phenomenal rest days, the furniture is modern and new and you don't need anything to be very comfortable. The common areas such as the pool are very enjoyable, my children did not want to get out of there, also very safe because there is always staff on the lookout for everything, we also loved the proximity to shops and restaurants, the truth is that we would love to return soon.

The apartment seemed broader than what is seen in the photos, the service was very good, the food within the whole very well regarding prices and quality, excellent location and Isna was always on the lookout. Would come back

I would definitely stay in this space again. The apartment is clean, consistent with the photographs, comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. An excellent space for four people. The view from the balconies is great, incredible sunsets. The pool is very good. Ideal space to rest, free of noise and disorder. The place is as it appears in the photos. I only recommend going by car as you will have easy transfer to the beach - since there is no direct exit from the lodging - and you can also transfer to the centers of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. But even if you don't take a car, there is public transport that connects you with all the places of interest and you just have to walk a couple of blocks to take it. I highly recommend it, I would surely go back.

An excellent option, very good value for money

This place was very stylish, clean and had all the things a traveler needs. Michael was an outstanding host. It’s also a very safe area. Enjoyed our stay.

It was the perfect stay for the ixtapa zihua area. Awesome view, nice and safe and a lot of privacy. The caretakers were great and accommodating, so was the owner Michael. Hate to leave, but will certainly be back soon. The food in the area is terrific (Specially in Zihua) and the wildlife was plentiful (we were here to photograph birds and mother luck was generous with us). Thank you!

Very good house, it is very spacious, it has very well accommodated spaces. The host only takes a while to reply to the messages. The pools have a very good size and they kept it clean in the room. The kitchen is very practical, since it has everything you need for your stay.

Pablo's place is lovely. Ada the house keeper was very friendly and she cooked a magnificent meal for us one day. We ate yummy leftovers for a few days. She also called her nephew who operates a taxi to take us into Zihua. Ada also ordered out water and ice for us. My husband especially loved the little pools on our balconies. We brought floaties and he floated in there for hours.The med sized infinity pool is so close, just a set of stairs away. It was clean and we never had to worry about getting a chair or an umbrella. Most of the time there were less than 4 people at this pool. The b g outside shower is gorgeous. Yes people can see you if they really really try. We used it several times a day. We felt very safe in Porto Ixtapa. The restaurant has good food and great prices and lovely staff.. The only thing is, it closes so darned early. Sharky also stopped its water taxi service at 4:30 so if we wanted to go to dinner we had to leave quite early or call a taxi. There is no little convenience store nearby so if you want snacks you bring them or buy them in town. The wifi works well. There is no cable. The sunsets and sunrises are amazing especiaily from the large infinity pool up on the point. We loved watching the boats coming in and out of the harbour and all the amzing birds and iguanas and fish. If you are looking to relax this is the place. Rosario the massage girl we used is highly recommended. They will make an appointment for you at the restaurant. We paid $300 peso for one hour of bliss listening to the waves and feeling the breeze

The place is immaculate, it is very comfortable as long as you are family since it only has one room so the other people stay in a room that does not give privacy, but if you are family because you easily accommodate the place the location is beautiful to the restaurant with very good prices but the lady who receives Mrs. Ada, makes you very comfortable the stay makes you have breakfast to eat you wash your clothes without tastes they make you grocery purchases in case you do not want to leave without a doubt it is a great element that Palma already has that really exceed the expectations of going to rest without a doubt we would arrive again

The place is definitely a paradise, it is located in one of the most privileged places in Ixtapa, close to everything and with a spectacular view of the pier. Hot tubs located on the edge of the terraces become magical at sunrise and sunset. The photographs do not do it justice. . . In addition, the hosts are very friendly, they always attended and supported us. 100% recommended, we will return as soon as possible

It is a beautiful house and its super friendly hosts. I traveled with my family, including my grandmother and for her the only drawback was that there was no bathroom on the first floor, which was where we spent most of the time. In general the house has everything you need to spend a comfortable and pleasant stay, our expectations of rest were fully met. It should be added that the people who work there are very attentive, daily they were going to clean the pool and every two days they went through the trash. There was a problem with the air conditioning but it was resolved soon. It is definitely a highly recommended place to spend a beautiful holiday.

What we liked the most about Gloria y Andres’s place was the proximity to everything that is there to do in Ixtapa. Almost all local attractions are within 15 minutes driving. The house was turned in to us very clean and the pool is a great amenity and useful to keep kids entertained. It has a great view of the bay and the guards are very helpful and respectful. I want to recognize one of the guards for helping us order a pizza to be delivered, that was great and he didn’t have to do that but he was very graceful in do it that for us. Thanks again!

Riccardo was an amazing host always quickly to answer and help us!! I definitely stay there again and can’t wait to return! First class place cannot say enough! The beach at las brisas that we are able to use is the best beach in Ixtapa!! You won’t be disappointed staying there ! Lots of room and best part all bedrooms had there own full bathrooms!! Best place to stay with families and other couples!! You will not regret staying there just be sad to leave... thank you Riccardo for everything !!

It was stunning. We knew the photos looked beautiful but it was even better in person. We had access to the small beach in front of Las Brisas which is the cleanest and clearest beach we saw in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo. We enjoyed the gym and the pool everyday. The pool side service was excellent. Get the dried chili mangos offered at the counter. Best we’ve had. The housekeeper comes on weekdays to clean all surfaces, kitchen, bathrooms, and run a load of laundry. We gave her $150pesos/day as a tip. The front desk can call you a taxi. And Wilvur was the best! Anything you need! He was part of the security team and was very helpful and attentive.

The best .. Have had many nice bnb experiences. But this was the topper. Beautiful experience. I wanted to live there forever. All was perfect. You wont be disappointed. Including the rocky pathway. 😎All perfect .

The apartment is much better than in the photos and well equipped. The host was very aware of our comfort, the infinity pool is beautiful, very good attention of the hotel staff. The only drawback I had is that the Restaurant does NOT bill you for consumption.

The place is incredible, bigger than it seems in the photos, the area is very quiet, very close (even walking) to the public beach next to the Barceló hotel, as well as to the tourist area of Ixtapa, when leaving the Main street is an OXXO which is very comfortable and the next commercial plaza there is a super Merza, the house has all the services, they told us that a small general maintenance of the house is at the door which is good. The manager always very attentive and professional treatment, there was a lot of communication and was super punctual (before us) to receive us, of course we will return with my family, thank you very much for the attention.

The house is in good condition the pool is the best, everything is very close to the beach that is soft.

Daniels place at the Peninsula is great. It has everything one could possibly need for a short or long term stay. Close to a great wine shop and restaurants. Taxis and bus stand right out the front gate of the property and very convenient. Front desk personnel and security very helpful with anything you might need. Snack bar personal are awesome and work very hard to make sure you have a cold beverage in your hand, food is great even made a special request for my wife that wasn't on the menu! This was our second year in a row staying at the Peninsula and we will be back again next year!

I can’t say enough about Raul’s AMAZING villa! The villa itself is absolutely stunning! The grounds and amenities are spectacular, with so much dedication from the grounds keeper(s). The location is perfect, and a nice walk to the main strip where there are many restaurants, pharmacies, and local shops. Zihuatanejo is a short cab or bus ride away. If you are wanting to go into Zihua, if you are not in a rush, we found the bus the “best bang for our buck”. Best produce will be found at the Municipal market in downtown Zihua. If you are wanting fresh fish or shrimp, head to the pier early in the am. Zule, who cares for the villa, (so much beyond a housekeeper) is one of the most amazing people you will ever meet. Take some time to get to know her. She will lighten up your life. We arrived to beautiful flowers on the steps, on the beds, on the tables as well as swan towels and everything was immaculate. She took time to show us everything and where things were, made sure we could get on WiFi, where to get more drinking water, introduced us to security, etc. Nothing was left out. Then there are her meals. AMAZING doesn’t even begin to cut it. She loves to cook and is happy to make whatever you would like. She asked for money needed for groceries and even handles all of the shopping for what she cooks and does so on a small budget. But the food couldn’t be better. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner (early as she has a husband to get home to) we’re all excellent. We invited her to dine with us and she taught us so much about Mexican cooking. She is a true gem. She sees what is needed before we needed it and always took incredible care of us. We look forward to coming back for a future vacation in Rauls villa, and spending much more time with Zule!

The description of the property is very accurate. The pool and beach are beautiful and the people are very nice. Speaking Spanish or at least knowing how to use your google translate app would be helpful. Zule is a great cook and very nice. The stores and restaurants are an easy walk (maybe a mile). We stayed 2 weeks and loved every minute.

This is an amazing villa in a perfect location but the absolute best part was having Zule, our personal Chef and housekeeper! We were totally pampered. Can’t wait to go back!

The good: The apartment is located in a very quiet private, when we went to the pool many times we were the only ones. From the kitchen you can see a good part of the pool, so children can be outside and adults can take it easy. The TV room is spectacular! There is a supermarket, a pharmacy, a food area and even a fish market just out of the colony. Areas of opportunity: There is no heater, although it is not to be missed except on the coldest days of winter.

This is a perfect location — a 72-unit complex right on the beach, beautiful pool, pool drink/snack bar, close to marina restaurants and an easy walk to downtown Ixtapa. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The unit itself was super clean and has everything you need for dishes and cookware. We met some great people and had a wonderful stay at this condo!

The apartment is very good, just as you can see in the photos, the old TVs have been changed to flat screens with cable, the air conditioning works well, Fred was always super attentive to our doubts, although it is true that they are very strict in the condo, they are not impossible things to do ..... The only thing we do not like so much is that we could not use the tub since there was hot water in the bathtub, only warm ... At reception we put hot water one day because we asked for it, but the other days they removed it ... It is definitely a very good option
