Music Venue
“Check their website for lineup...I describe this to my friends as the coolest backyard you have ever seen. It is very unique and music ranges from Beach Music to, 80s & 90s to acoustic and country. Usually a 40 something crowd but can depend on which band is playing. 10 minute walk from our home, which is great since parking can be difficult.”

Park
“My favorite spot for kayaking, but canoes are an option, as well. Twelve bucks for a single kayak (double-seaters are there, as well) for the day. You'll see egrets and hawks. We usually take a picnic and pull up next to each other near the shore to dine in the shade. Very relaxing and very pretty. ”

“Only Craft Beer and Wine at this local favorite. Many nights they will have a food truck that rotates nightly, check their facebook for details. Only 10 minute walk from our home which is good, because parking can be difficult.”

“Wonderful seafood and oysters. Small place expect to wait. They have an oyster bar inside and outdoor seating as well. Right next to the train tracks and you might see a train come through.”

“A nice place to learn about the environment. There is a beautiful walking path -paved that starts there. You can bike, hike, or run on the path.”

Bar
“Marisol is well agreed upon by everyone in Greensboro, as the best restaurant here. I've eaten and many of the finest restaurants in the world and Marisol rivals the best I've had! It is certainly fine dining and their prices reflect that but any money spent there is money well spent if the occasion calls for it.”
