A studio with independent access, in our family home. Accommodates up to 2 people, with one single bed and one Z-bed with a good quality mattress and optional mattress topper. There is a kitchen area with a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster and an en-suite shower room, with a sink providing drinking water and space to wash crockery. A continental breakfast and beverages are provided along with tea towels and detergent.
This is a contemporary living space for up to two people, providing everything needed for bed and a continental breakfast. There is ample living space for eating, watching TV, using a laptop or just relaxing.
Jersey Farm is a quiet residential area situated on the edge of St. Albans, minutes away from countryside. Close by is Jersey Farm Woodland Park and Heartswood Forest, where a variety of wild flowers and wildlife can be found. It is a 10 minute drive into St. Albans town centre, which boasts a huge variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and spas. St. Albans is steeped in history, with a Cathedral, the remains of a Roman theatre and museums showing Roman artifacts. It is also close to Harry Potter Studios and historic Hatfield House.

    Well furnished property within walking distance of both the city centre and the railway station. South west facing single guest bedroom gets the sun during the day and into the summer evenings. Off street parking available. Shared facilities include kitchen, lounge/diner and wet room. Andrey, who lives with me, will welcome you when I am not immediately available. I will always be present overnight. St Albans is a vibrant Historical town less than 25 minutes by train to London.

I felt truly welcome, she offered breakfast, replied to all of my questions instantly and was very kind about the late check-in and super early checkout on a trip cut short by the Corona-outbreak related precautions. I recommend her and her home warmly to travelers looking for the comfort of a genuine home away from home and hope to return with more time in a not too distant future!

It is a very warm bright & well equipped with all the comforts of home, it is in a very quiet residential area. A very comfortable bed, a great wet room. A lovely selection of serials, bread fruit tea & coffee. Would definitely stay again.

  • I was worried because there were not many reviews, but the house itself was good. It's just a new building and it feels very well formed. It was clean and well heated, and the elevator and ... overall good. St Albans Abbey station is right in front of you, but St Albans City station is not enough to walk, so you have to take a bus. hehe.. Sainsbury's huge big mart is right in front of it, so it's easy to go shopping, and it's a quiet and clean residential complex that's great for people staying in the UK for a long time. He was looking for a musculus shooter, but he didn't have a shooter shooter. I've been trying to open the door. I'm doing well ㅎㅎ

  • Lovely place, right next to St.Albans Abbey Road railway station. Very clean and organised. Big Sainsbury’s store a stone’s throw from the apartment. It is a gated and secure residential development. Only a few check-in glitches as hosts don’t live here but they were super prompt in resolving all issues. The flat is exactly as it looks in the pictures, very comfortable, modern and super clean. Uber easily bootable to St Albans City rail station (costs approx £6-10 per trip); that’s where you get super frequent Thameslink trains directly to london St Pancras international (fastest train takes 21 mins; slowest is 35-41; one-way ticket is £12.90 for travel any time of day in any train so flexible). Would definitely recommend this home and hosts if you want to be close to London but not in the hustle and bustle or if you want a bit of peace and quiet now and again during your London stay! The standout thing for me though, was the excellent communication throughout.   • Great place - very clean, looks exactly how it is shown in the pictures and very close to St.Albans street market and shops, as well as transportation (bus and train) stops; note: the tube does not come all the way to St. Albans. My only downside to this place would be that the chairs, sofa and bed look really nice, but all very uncomfortable. Also, a lot of amenities included, but not the little products needed for the amenities [e.g. washer but no detergent, only one toilet paper roll, dishwasher with no pods/soap]. Otherwise, a great place to stay!

  • This is a fabulous new apartment in a good location with parking. Close to a great park, where I went fir long walks. I effectively lived there, rather than just use it as a base, for eight days.   • A lovely place to stay. Alice is a great host. She has a charming personality and is courteous, helpful and polite. The room was big and spacious, lots of wardrobe and drawers space. The bed was very comfortable which in turn equals a good nights sleep. House is situated on a very quiet, peaceful avenue with off-road parking. But is within 10 minutes walk from all local amenities. And Alice is a very nice lady. Thoroughly recommend staying there.

  • Brilliant place, especially if you just need to get a couple of nights in town to quickly see the sights, Stephen has a travellers eye for what visitors need in a room, its super clean, very comfy loft conversion, great shower unit, and no expense has been spared in the decor. There's even a washingmachine/dryer for your own use, and any seasoned traveller will nod sagely at hearing this vital bit of equipment! Very close to the old town, and there's Verulamium Park nearby which is sublime. Highly recommended.

The room is big and clean with a TV and Blue-ray player, and a handy shower room just for yourself (a bit cold though). I just would like to clarify that the street parking is only free before 11am and I think after 6pm (or 5pm). Overall, I would definetely recommend to stay here. Thanks for the hospitality!

    Hi, if you are a female in need of a small room in St Albans, this might be for you. I live here with my daughter and my cat, occasional guest is my son and my friend’s dog. But your room is just for you. Feel free to use the kitchen. Wi-fi is available and shops are opposite the road. St Albans City Center or Train Station is a brisk 20min walk. My pride is my hot tub in the garden, functioning even in the toughest English weather. So bring your swimsuit for a relaxing bath under the sky.
    The room is tiny, but private and cozy. You can use the kitchen, bathroom, garden, hot tub, wi-fi, washing machine.
    Very quiet, family friendly neighbourhood. Shops opposite the road. (Tesco , Fish and Chips, Pizza Hut ) St. Albans City Train Station 20 min walk. ( London St Pancras 25min by fast train) St. Albans City Center 20 min. walk.

The accommodation is very nice and very clean perfect for a family of 4. The rooms are street side so a bit bright because of direct access to the road. Food store right across the street very handy for shopping. The neighborhood is pleasant, calm and reassuring. A charming little town. The only downside I would say: far from the center of London 25 mins from St Albans station and 20 mins walk from the apartment to the station. We still love our stay. All the best .

    The room is a large single or a double and the bed can be converted into a double. And great views across fields to the rear. There is off-street parking and great connections to St Albans centre and train station. Ideal for a monday-friday commuter.
    There are some local pubs which do homecooked food and give the 'traditionally British' atmosphere. And are only a short walk away. St Albans town centre is 1.5 miles away and is full of bars, pubs, restaurants and shops. There's a market twice a week as well and there are some historical sites and great parks. It's also only 2 miles from St Albans City train station which has direct links into London. The direct train takes 20 mins straight into St Pancras station where you can get the underground. Trains from St Albans also go to Brighton without having to change trains. A return ticket to St Pancras is £19.70, however there are various travel card options available which would work out much cheaper and enable you to travel on the tube too. St Albans is lively and pretty, plenty to do with amazing access to London if you want to venture out. A great base for exploring.

  • The flat's relatively small - as others have said, it might feel a bit cramped to a couple - but it was ideal for this solo traveller. It has a good shower and a very comfortable bed, together with a number of books which appealed to me, even though I only had time to read one of them. It's an easy five minute walk to either the centre of St.Albans or to the station, and, while some people might regard the check-in arrangements as a bit cumbersome (you have to collect the key from a key box at a local estate agent), they weren't a problem for me. I'm a fairly regular visitor to St.Albans and I'd like to stay here again in the future.

    Set in an idyllic location in Wheathampstead, a quiet village on the river Ver situated just between Saint Albans and Harpenden, this once was blacksmith’s cottage, then a wartime working farm for Italian POWs, (many of whom stayed on after the war to create ice-cream empires in Luton!), then an ARP warden's office connected to the farm's bomb shelter, and now converted by one of the owners (a professional interior stylist) into a beautiful single bedroom apartment with ensuite shower, toilet and basin. The property is surrounded by country views and yet is less that 45 minutes from the attractions of central London via St Albans and Harpenden or alternatively via fast trains at Hatfield that link to the Victoria or Piccadilly tube networks. By car , you are ten minutes from either the A1, M1 or M25. details The accommodation comprises one large living room/ kitchen, a 32 inch HD TV with built in FreeSat, DVD player, a comfortable leather armchair & sofa, wood burning stove, dining table and benches, digital vinyl record player with several great albums included (but you’re welcome to be bring your your own). Kitchen is brand new with dishwasher and washing machine. Double bedroom and ensuite shower room. The annexe is separate but directly adjacent to the main 19th century farmhouse which is in turn surrounded by 2 1/2 acres of ex-farmland. Its a non working farm. The independent highly rated Farr Brew microbrewery actually grow some of their Hops on our farm. Taste it at their nearby tap room. And speaking of tasty, at the end of our road is one of the most raved-about Italian restaurants in south east England - L'Olivo. St Albans is a vibrant and well-connected town which has all the major brands represented plus the unique history of having been the Roman capital of Britain. In fact the Brits were finally defeated by Caesar on Dyke lane, our road. The Odyssey cinema was saved by investment from film fans from conversion into flats to the biggest independent cinema in Europe. facilities If you’re staying here on business the house has Wi-Fi at fast rates thanks to a 4g connection.
    Very safe neighbourhood. Nearest pretty quiet village is Wheathampstead has most shops you need and 2 pubs and restaurants. It is a 20 minutes walk or 5 minute drive.

    This is a beautiful and immaculately presented 2 bed/2 bathroom apartment approximately 800 sq ft. One large master suite having an ensuite, great for 2 couples staying or a couple requiring a little more space. We also have Flat screen Tv's in each room, high speed WIFI and a sofa bed In the lounge should you need the flexibility of being able to sleep up to 6 people. A very tasteful and modern fitted kitchen with ALL appliances built in, a sleek and useable breakfast bar perfect for dining and entertaining- all Set in the heart of the city centre and only 17 minutes from London on the fast train (station just a 5 minutes walk away) this is a perfect base to see St Albans and dip in and out of London from. Luton London airport on average is about a 20 minute drive or a couple of stops on the train, there is also a Gatwick airport direct train service available too, Heathrow can often be reached by car or taxi in 45 minutes depending on traffic. Baked Nation is a favourite of mine for coffee or breakfast, although the city has many great chains too The Ivy Brasserie, Cote, Bills just to mention a few, if live music is your thing then the Horn Of Plenty is only few minutes walk by the train station and known for its love of bands and music.

    Bright, spacious and modern apartment on the south side of St Albans. Great transport links and close to local shops and a few meters away from Highfield Park which is great for walking and jogging. The apartment is bright and sunny with a small sunny private outside deck. My place is ideally situated to for links to the A414 and M25 and M1. In line with current rules, our apartment is kept vacant for 72 hours between guests. Our housekeeper is COSHH trained and certified but please feel free to ask any additional questions if you have any concerns prior to your stay ** Larger than average two double bed apartment, decorated in white with neutral carpets and laminate flooring. The relaxed and spacious feel extends out onto a south facing private decked area with seating.
    My place is on a very quiet road to the south of the City and is extremely well situated for access onto the M25, M1 and A414. There are local shops and takeaways a few minutes walk away and a number of very good pubs in the area.

Christina was very friendly and made us feel welcome and was brilliant in all our communication.     A charming Grade 2 listed character cottage within a stone's throw of everything the historic town of St. Albans has to offer: including the market town, Cathedral, Roman Verulamium, museums, pubs, restaurants and shops. This beautiful, spacious, two bedroom semi-detached property comfortably sleeps four and is decorated to a very high standard. The staircase is narrow and without wall rail so extra care is advised when using the stairs.
    This semi-detached house is only a 100 metre walk to the high street. The brand new St. Albans Museum is free to enter and highlights some of the wonders of this wonderful city. Here a variety of shops can be found including The Maltings Shopping Centre where high street shops such as Top Shop, TKMaxx, New Look & H&M can be located. The town boasts many restaurants to suit all palettes including Indian, Thai, Italian and Mediterranean. Just a ten minute walk away is the newly refurbished art deco Odyssey Cinema. During the film, one can visit the open bar and enjoy cheese platters. The Cathedral is just a 3 minute walk away which leads down to the beautiful Verulamium Lakes. Located here are Roman sites as well as the Roman Museum. Next to the Roman Museum is St. Michael's Village where a drink or meal can be enjoyed in one of the cosy pubs, including the Six Bells which is 500 years old. A ten minute walk down Holywell Hill takes you to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre. Here you’ll find a fully equipped gym, climbing wall and a 25m swimming pool.

  • What a wonderful space. When I walked in, I was surprised at how it looks exactly like the photos. Sometimes the photos give a glossed up view but not in this case. Beautifully designed and everything you need is here for a short stay. Brilliant location being right in the centre but it’s still quiet and peaceful. Will definitely have this at the top of my list in future. The owners are also very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

I would definitely recommend staying here, the only part which I imagine can be rather annoying occasionally is parking but this should be expected seen as its in the town centre.

  • This was my first experience staying at an Airbnb in Europe. I have stayed at some truly wonderful Airbnbs over the years, but this property and Victoria surpass my already exceedingly high expectations. First, the property shows beautifully online. When you see it in person, you realize that there are details to the property which just can't be seen online, but that make it incredibly charming. Church Bells would be one, and the coziness of the place another. It truly felt like a sanctuary, especially during some intense wind and rain storms. I cannot say enough about Victoria. She was available for advice from the moment the reservation was booked to checkout. Nothing was a problem for Victoria and she made me feel as though her home was my home. The special details of the place have been well documented in other reviews. Cleanliness is paramount for me. You could tell that the sheets and towels were freshly laundered. The property was equipped with 4 tvs with hundreds of channels from the UK and around the world. The coffee maker is state-of-the art. The places is kept spotless and appointed with a combination of modern and rustic charm. It is very centrally located with access to anything you need. I could go on at length but I give Vicki and her property my very highest praise.

  • Victoria’s place is modern and conveniently situated within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. It was lovely and clean and a true little gem. The only struggle when staying long term as we stayed four weeks, is parking being so close to town, but you don’t really need a car. The stairs are also quite narrow as a precaution. I would definitely recommend Victoria’s place and she is very helpful and accommodating.

  • If there are Air B&B awards for hidden gems this place deserves one. Spotlessly clean. Ultra cool modern conversion less than a minutes walk from the High Street. Victoria went out of her way to help meet our timings which we massively appreciate. If you are looking in the area. This is a no brainer ! Thanks Victoria. We’ll see you again I’m sure. If you are a little wabbly on your feet be careful on the stairs. They are a little tight. Fabulous place.

    Cosy, comfortable, clean and recently redecorated 3-bedroom end-terraced house in Wheathampstead. Centrally located for easy access to St. Albans (4 miles), Luton Airport (8mi) Welwyn Garden City (5mi), Hatfield & University of Hertfordshire (5mi), and Central London (20mi). Close to the A1, M1 & M25, and national rail services. Get the best of both worlds with the access and convenience of the above plus the peace & quiet of a village with wonderful greens, country pubs and woodlands.
    The private bedroom has a very comfortable double-bed, plenty of hanging/storage space in the wardrobe (hangers provided) and a locking door. The shared bathroom is two doors down, and includes an over-bath electric shower. A 3rd single bedroom may also be available for a small additional cost – please enquire for details. Downstairs, the contemporary living space has hardwood floors throughout, a clean, contemporary kitchen, additional WC and access to the enclosed back garden/patio. Off-street parking is available on the front driveway for 2-3 cars.
    The house is on the very edge of the village, in a quiet cul-de-sac on a planned residential area. With just 10 minutes walk you can be in the heart of the village, in the wide open spaces of Nomansland Common or rambling through gorgeous woodlands and Greenways. Eating/Drinking: Within easy walking distance are plenty of options - you won’t go hungry! - 4 lovely pubs (3 of which offer good food!) - delicious fish & chip shop - excellent Chinese, Thai and Indian restaurants/takeaways - L’Olivo, a very popular Italian – advance bookings required! The village also has a tea room, Tesco Express, post office, chemist, hair salons and various local businesses. My neighbours are lovely so please respect them during your stay.
