Excellent communication from the owner, who also gave us recommendations on where to eat and go. The apartment is an easy walk from the train station, near to eateries, public hot springs and supermarket. We love the hot spring bath located in the apartment. There were a lot of mosquitoes in public area but none in the apartment building. Highly recommended for all visiting Jiaoxi.

The room is so nice with a great view of jiaoxi, the hot spring is good too and the host is so nice who recommended me a lot of great places and restaurants. However, there were a little bit of dirt on the bed sheets and pillows. Overall, it's a good home stay experience.

There is room for improvement. Bathroom cleanness can be improved. Overall the room is nice. During check-in, asking the front staff on how to get a taxi and how to make local phone call in Taiwan, the Taiwan staff has no idea which we find weird. Can consider this place if you love t have hot spring which is inside the room and nearby the area.

Easy, simple and great quality accomodation. The booking process was very prompt and clear. There is an office to check in with which means you can guarantee a speedy check in with no problems about coordinating key drop off or pick up. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and right by the main road with many restaurants, bars and fish pedicure places. The place itself is on the 12th floor with a good view and a well maintained and spacious rooftop garden perfect for watching the sunset over the mountain. The room is very clean with a huge hot spring bathtub, bathroom toiletaries and towels, water, tea and coffee, and comfortable beds. To top it all off, they have very friendly staff. Great stay, wish it was longer.

Yimaduola located Jiaoxi Town Centre, geographical location and transportation is very convenient, close to Tangwei park, walk for about a minute, we have the most natural hot springs - the best of the genus called beauty soup. Hot springs belong sodium bicarbonate spring, spring color clear, odorless, pH value of about 7, when the surge to the surface is about 58 , washed smooth and soft non-sticky, as rich in sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, carbonate ions and other minerals, and therefore whether it is soaking, bathing, or after processed into drinking mineral water, are good for your health, known as the "hot springs spa."

We are located next to the 3-minute walk Tangwei Park, Bus Terminal and about a ten minute walk. There is also a 24-hour supermarkets

This place is located near many other much more expensive hot springs hotels. It was a lot smaller than I expected from looking at the pictures, but the bathroom makes up for it. The tub is really big and quite deep. Outside of the tub area is a small balcony. No mountain view or anything, but still nice. It is also very clean and the owner is easy to contact.

Old-looking building with no lifts up to the unit which is located on the third level. Not convenient for the elderly or disabled. We didn't have either with us so we were fine. The unit itself is very well maintained, comfortable, modern, clean and lovely. The hot spring water connected to the bath is a great feature.

Min's place is really great ! We wished we could have stayed longer there because it really was that great. The hot bath was wonderful and the host was very accommodating. The location is also quite near to the town where you can find many good eats and also shops. Just nearby is also a train station which will be very convenient for anyone who is taking public transportation. The place was beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed for a good rest. Do not be turned off by the building appearance, it is the interior that counts and we are glad we made the right choice, it is really a cozy place to stay. We are pleased with the private parking lot provided during our entire stay and the famous clay pot chicken is only 10 mins drive away.

Amazing studio overlooking the breath taking view of the Yilan Plain. The room is an open area, including one kitchen, one bathroom and hot spring, and one balcony. You can find the floor plan in one of my pics, just like a studio. The bed resides on top of the tatami. You can see part of kitchen and the living room when you are on the tatami. As for the location, the Tangweigou Hotsprings Park is in 10 mins walking distance. There are lots of food and restaurants. As for the bed, there is one king size mattress and one single mattress (both 10cm thick Latex) in the tatami area which is 240*260cm. Plus we have a single couch bed and one air mattress.

Tangweigou Hotsprings Park (湯圍溝溫泉公園) This older park is south of the train station and closer to the main (older) Jiaoxi centre, including Vegan Heaven and the older hotspring hotels. Its public hotspring is cheaper (NT80) but is older, indoors and not nearly as pleasant as its sister in Jiaoxi Hotsprings Park. Also attached to the park are "fish spas", where small fish nibble at the feet of patrons. It's believed to be good for the skin. Wufonci Waterfall (五峰旗瀑布) First, second and third tiers of Wufongci Waterfall This charming trio of waterfalls is one of Taiwan's best. It takes about an hour to hike up to the third waterfall, allowing for stops at the previous two. Paths are well established, but can be crowded, especially on weekends. It's about one hour's walk (4km) to the falls from the train station, however you may regret the walk after hiking up to the falls; it's easier to take Bus 111 from the train station, or from the hotsprings along Zhongxiao Road (德陽路) and Deyang Road (德陽路). Jiaoxi Sietian Temple Jiaoxi Sietian Temple is the first and most important Guandi Temple in Taiwan. The temple worships Silk Guangong. This temple was built in 1804 by the Chingting Government. It was rumored that after the temple was built, local epidemics stopped and it became a flourishing temple from then on. The temple’s architecture is majestic, solemn and luxurious. The thirteen day of the first month of the Lunar year is the auspicious day when Guanshendijun became an immortal. According to traditions, the temple worships the God and offer Hongpianguei made from the glutinous rice and sweets provided by the eight nearby villages. The Guei praying ceremony is adopted to pray for blessings. In front of Sietian Temple, there was an ancient stage. It is the only stage left in Taiwan made of large wood structure design. However, the temple management tore down the stage in 1995 due to other uses planned for the vacant land in front of the temple.

The beautiful view, no matter day and night, impress us so much. The flat is so comfortable and is so large which is quite out of our expectation. The spring pool is the most impressive part making us so relax while having oit night time with the super nice view. Actually the flat is not that far away from the train station, may taking us about 15 ~ 20mins, which we can but lots of nice food along the route. All in all, its perfect and we'll definily come back again.

Great stay in Jiaoxi at Jen's place, sadly only for two nights. Her place is located nearby to good food options, a grocery store and the bus stop which takes you everywhere. The place was even nicer than in the photos, we especially enjoyed the hot spring bath for two. Great amenities all around, including security in building, fridge, washer/dryer, balcony with hammock and lots of helpful guidebooks. Thanks for having us Jen!

The hosts were really awesome. They fetched us from the train station, as well as dropping us off at the bus station to return back to Taipei. During our 1 day stay with them, we climbed up wufengqi and swam near the waterfall. The following morning, she brought us for cycling at the rice fields despite the light drizzle. Super enjoyable and they were also really friendly, welcoming us to have tea and talk in their house. The house itself were clean and big, and they have their own in house hot spring that was very comfortable! The host also went all out to recommend us places to go when we were in other parts of Taiwan, making our trip smoother with her suggestions! 谢谢你们热情与招待,好想你们了!!

Room is separate entrance from the owners place. The smell of wood is homey and is beautifully renovated. Owners are extremely friendly and are very lovely hosts. Very sweet to pick and drop us off from the station as well. Bed was extremely comfortable... my best stay in airbnb so far and extremely value for money. Owners also have umbrellas prep for rainy days and bicycle for sunny days out! Definitely recommend this place!

We missed the train station due to communication problems but more our fault than hers. This is a lovely property very close to all the action but she does not speak any English so difficult for non Chinese speakers. Tub in the room is a real plus but would have liked breakfast.

We had a very relaxing and wonderful vacation in Jiaoxi. The spacious stone hot spring tub in the room is defiantly a hit and the balcony is right outside the bathroom really helps the airflow. They have laundromat in the building which is super convenient then we found out they even offer laundry soap. How sweet is that! The location is unbeatable too. There are some really good Japanese style late night eateries with hot sake, skewers and fresh seafood nearby so we can just walk back. We stay here for four nights and there still something and somewhere left for us to explore. Thank you so much for quick reply and being really helpful when we try to shift our stay one day earlier. We enjoy our time here and would recommend to you.

Just 500 meters from the city center, walk to the Hot springs park, Tangwei spa park are very convenient, from the railway station and the transfer station Chiaohsi about 10 minutes, continue to travel to other cities is very convenient, there are a lot of food around trail and attractions, near the station can be rented motorcycles, electric cars and bicycles, is to relax, promote feelings of the friends and good location! the girlfriends of room for 1-5 people traveling together or backpackers / friends.

A very nice place to stay in Jiaoxi. It is very conveniently located in the heart of the town. It's approximately 8 minutes away from the Jiaoxi train station, and it is nearby many shops as well as tourist attrctions in Jiaoxi. The rooms were very clean, and the hosts has made it a point to make sure that the guests have a nice and comfortable stay, eg preparing instant coffee mix packs, making sure utilities in the house are well prepared. Besides the rooms were huge, with 4 people per room, and each room has its own toilets. Beds were very comfortable. The host and hostess are also one of the warmest and kindest people i have met in taiwan. They were very receptive and responsive, and are very funny and nice people to be with. They are also able to provide their guests with great ideas, opinions and suggestions towards their guests itineraries. Overall it was a great stay here in jiaoxi, and thanks to the host as well as the hostess for taking great care of me during my stay. Definitely will reccomend AirBnB users to stay here when visiting Jiaoxi.

The place is easy to find with ease to get food and necessities. Host are friendly and help to bring luggages to the room after it is available as we reached early and went to yilan city & lou dong for the whole second half. Bathroom hot spring is a plus point for the place. Had to go for another dipping in the morning before checking out. Too bad didnt have the time to discover other facilities in the building.

Great communication with host who is very prompt and fast. Unfortunately our stay was ruined by the typhoon. He requested that we alight from the bus station and walked to his place. We contacted him as it was already dark almost 8pm and raining heavily. We requested to take a cab to his place and he agreed and even paid for cab fare. There were some hicups though. Once in the room, we saw a dead crocroah. The guy who checked us in quickly took a tissue and remove it from the room. There was only 1 cup instead of 2. No stirrers. And we were not given Mos Burger breakfast voucher. TV remote was hardly working or lag in response. When we reported all these to him, they were resolved immediately. He even explained that due to typhoon, some of the cleaners could not work so he had to employ part timers and apologise for all the hicups. Host is fast and sincere and kept reminding us to give him a good review here. Facilities like outdoor hotspring could not be used due to typhoon and we checked out very early next morning. Bed was a little too hard. Lobby and corridor was pitch dark but safe. But lots of eateries within 5 minutes walk. But many were closed due to typhoon. We blamed it on our bad luck as we arrived very late and had to check out very early for Taipei.

We had a nice day. The host was very helpful! It's a really nice apartment, modern, clean and spacious. It would've been better if there's essential supply provided, such as towels. But it's a beautiful place and we definitely stay there again if we're in town.

We stay here for one night.The location of key and apartment have some distance. It is a bit too secret and dark the key placed when we were arriving at night. It takes less than 10mins walking from the station we take off. The apartment is beautiful and tasteful. It has a big bed for 2 people. It has a hot spring bath for relaxing after tiring trip. Something to improve is it lacks some utensils we need like knife and lighter. Please also reminded the air conditioner have some problem of leaking water.Overall it is a comfortable and worth to stay apartment.

So nice place and great experience to live here . Room is big ( 2 big bed) , clear , and so the SPA hot pool . Joyce and her sister are friendly and give very good help ...The location also good for shopping and walk . I would like to stay again . Maybe bring my family here next time ... :)

Joyce is very nice and she patiently answered all my questions about the room and Jiaoxi. The room is clean and spacious, just like in the photos. The big hotspring tub is super! Beds are large, suitable for families. Elderly friendly :) Very close to the Tangweigou hotspring park; Supermarket and eateries until late night - all within 5 minutes walk. About 10 minutes walk to train station. You may also take the free shuttle (112) that goes to Jiaoxi train station and bus station.

Nice room, large enough for my family of 4. Bathroom very large as well with good-sized tub. Host was very good. Replied quickly and everything was as represented. Sole negative was only having one room key. Not a big deal if you are doing everything together, but inconvenient if people in your group have different day trips.

The place is centrally located - and it is as described. Overall, my family and me enjoy the stay - we liked the hot spring bath area, which is not a bad thing for the family to chill out after a long day walking around the town. And the roof top garden is nice too. We did some exploration around the apartment - and we found good amount of things to see, restaurants/roadside stalls for our meals and snacks - and also got a good breakfast at Moss Burger where the host provides us breakfast. Located opposite the Jiaosi States, only 1.4 km from the Jiaoxi Train Station and sincere welcome you soon.

The room is a separate bathroom, shower room belongs to no bathtub, and the present non-B & B spa area.

State Road V at Toucheng Interchange, then straight back to Jiaoxi Road Zhongshan Road, turn left to see Hsiehtien Miaohou righteous way, and at the first corner after 30 meters turn right, that arrive.

We thought we were at the wrong place when we arrived at the given address, as the unassuming facade of the building wasn't quite what we expected. The room was exactly like what you see in the photos though — refurbished modernly, though not the ensuite bathroom (still pretty clean though). Oh, it might be worth a mention that the TV's got cable channels. The host (淑敏) wasn't around during our stay, but her father checked us in and helped us to settle in — a very nice and pleasant man. There are bicycles provided to help you get around, but we usually just walked/drove. The sheltered parking area is worth mentioning too. The hot spring bath houses were reasonably close (10-minute drive), and there are several places to eat, as well as a 7-eleven around the area. Oh, if you're not sure which bath house to go to, 淑敏's recommendation was pretty good too. (:

Getting there was easy, and the location is convenient. The apartment was clean as well. We had some issues parking though and were yelled at by neighbors banging on our door in the morning violently. If you have a car with you be sure to talk to some neighbors or the landlord ahead of time in order to avoid complications.
