  • I was well cared for at Charlene’s place. She is a great host (although unfortunately I did not get to meet her), the space was very comfortable and well equipped. I especially enjoyed the breakfast food she provided, the plush towels, and satellite TV during the Australian Open tennis! I would stay again.

    Kathy2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • beautiful little place, great location

    Warren2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Charlene’s place was wonderful! She was very thoughtful of every detail, and she is also very generous. The kitchen was loaded with so much food, and she left a kind note with all of the instructions. There were toys on the second bedroom, from which my son loved playing with. The house was sparkling clean and it felt just like home! The backyard is enormous and there was even a trampoline in there. Overall, we had an awesome family time. I highly recommend staying at her place, you won’t regret it!

  • Delores is an examplary hostess and an amazing person. Her home is warm, clean, and inviting. She welcomed us and our puppies with a smile. We had the best breakfast we'd possibly ever had - her fresh croissants are to die for - bring an empty belly! We left feeling nourished and restored :-)

  • Dolores was a fantastic and thoughtful host. What others have said is true - the breakfast is amazing!! If you are ever in the Cawston area, whether you are passing through or spending a few nights, staying here is a must! Bonus: 3 cats.

    Janet2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Dolores is an amazing and kind host. Her hospitality really added to our vacation. The rooms were lovely and breakfast was fit for royalty! The location on the vineyard, surrounded by grapes and apple orchards, was picturesque. All in all - it was a wonderful stay!

    Bajadudes2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stop in the Similkameen Valley. The setting is beautiful, a quaint original farmhouse amidst an estate vineyard, right across from their small winery (make sure you taste their wines). Comfortable and clean. But the star of this place is your host, Dolores. She gives a warm welcome, is thoughtful, and provides a fabulous breakfast, better than any restaurant, and is lovely to talk to! Have recommended her to all our friends.

Twin Lakes is a rural community about a 20-minute drive into Penticton. Therefore a vehicle is needed to stay here. We are located in the middle of the wine country communites of the South Okanagan in British Columbia that includes Naramata, Kaleden, OK Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, Cawsten and Keremeos. We also live on the Ironman Canada Triathlon bike course so a great place to stay and also train. There is an 18 hole golf course nearby and hiking and biking trails to enjoy.
A private queen room with 4 piece bathroom, living room, and 2 decks above Twin Lakes await you in very peaceful surroundings. Breakfast is also included. You have access to our lake to canoe (one to borrow), kayak, SUP, fish, swim, or just relax at the lake. There are no motorized watercraft allowed on our lake. Skaha and Okanagan Lake are nearby, that allow all types of watercraft.
Twin Lakes is a lovely quiet rural setting and will be most welcomed after a hectic day of touring and experiencing the sights of the South Okanagan or just a break from city life. Nature abounds here and the sky at night is quite a show with our starry nights. We are also a great overnight spot if travelling east towards Alberta or west to the Vancouver/ Lower Mainland area.
  • What an amazing value and place to rest! Fully recommend Raydene and Jack's cozy home. They have truly gone the extra mile(s) to think of almost everything to make the experience exceptional. From tea selections ready on arrival, surprise sweet treats before bed, to looking up resources for our personal interests in tourism in the area, we were very impressed! The room was quiet, very private, and comfortable. A fire welcomed us in the morning along with the most spectacular breakfast. Friendly dogs at the door greeted us with their favorite toys. Quail and mule deer roamed by the kitchen porch and the views are breathtaking. Everything was welcoming, clean, and easy about the experience. Thank you both for sharing your time and place with us!

    Alexandra2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our short stay. The scenery is beautiful and top notch hospitality.

    Rick2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Raydene and Jack provide a fantastic experience. They have a beautiful location, close enough to get to all the South Okanagan amenities and wineries, but far enough away to enjoy tranquility at the end of the day. Superb breakfasts and great conversation, with the perfect amount of privacy. We will definately return when we need to fill our cellar again.

    Louise2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jack and Raydene are amazing hosts and they have created a very welcoming and homey experience for their guests. The space is private (bedroom, bathroom, decks), they made an excellent breakfast for us, and we were able to swim and canoe down at the lake right by the house. It was such a lovely stay and we will be sure to come back and stay again when we are back in BC! Thank you again Jack and Raydene!

    Kate2019-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • A canoe trip around the lake, deer at the garden fence, the discussion round at the dining table, the most delicious breakfast of our vacation, the spacious living room, the view of mountains and forest, the open-minded, friendly nature of our hosts - just some of the memories that made our stay at Raydene one of the most beautiful of our trip. From Twin Lakes you can easily reach the Okanagan valley and Osoyoos.

    Bärbel2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Raydene and Jack are wonderful people. My wife and I had such a nice stay and we're already hoping we can go next year. Very clean, awesome breakfast, and the area is beautiful. Raydene is very thoughtful and adds lots of little touches to make the experience just a little bit more special. Thanks Jack and Raydene!

    Jonathan2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Raydene and Jack were very welcoming, my boyfriend and I felt at home as soon as we met them and saw the home. Their thoughtful touches for guests were incredible. They’re both a treat to talk to and have many stories to share or if you just want a rundown are very knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was very thorough and tasty. We really appreciate their effort for making it a great stay for us. We will be sure stay again if we are ever in the area in the future.

    Grace2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Raydene is a wonderful host! We highly recommend this place to anyone who likes some peace and quiet, a clean and cozy house, tasty and filling breakfast, as well as be walking distance from the lake. Chella their dog is also a charming host and would follow you around with her bunny. 100% would come back. If we could give 6/5 stars, we would! :)

Covid-19: due to the current sanitary crisis we are taking all necessary measures to minimize contact for the health and safety of guest and host. The suite is fully self-contained and a zero contact check-in policy will be in place. We've hand built our house on 3/4's of an acre and have a large organic vegetable garden, fruit trees, and chickens. We are located a short drive west of the village of Keremeos in the beautiful Similkameen Valley.
Settled amongst fruit trees and vineyards, the peaceful town of Keremeos is a lost gem. A great escape from the city hussle. Our suite is connected to the main house and is separated by a Dutch door which locks from the suite side and allows guests to easily contact us should they need anything. The suite is equipped with: *A full kitchen * Big and varied continental Breakfast *Charming private bathroom with shower and stocked with locally made products *A spacious bedroom with a comfortable queen sized bed, a large closet and a chair for reading which overlooks a small pond and garden. *A sitting room with a 32" Plasma TV with Netflix and DVD player as well as a sofa bed for up to two extra guests *Washer and Dryer and an outdoor clothesline. *Large selection of books *Lego and kids toys (upon request) If this sounds like the perfect retreat don't be shy. We accommodate all travellers, are LGBTQ2I friendly, and want to make sure your stay is exactly what need it to be. We can be flexible and accommodate up to 4 people as well as pets if notified in advance (There will be an extra $10 in cleaning fees for pets). We ourselves have three well-behaved cats and small quiet Jack Russell terrier and a new addition to the family, a yellow labrador.
Neighborhood might be a stretch! We love the tranquility and peace of our spot, nestled between two mountains with a river not more than a ten minute walk away. We have neighbors on either side of the property, but they are both elderly men and very quiet.

I hope to have the opportunity to take my family back with me at some point and enjoy the area more as well as Saron and Albert's company. What a great stay and even better people.

    Jason2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Albert’s and Sharon’s Airbnb is great! There is everything you need, it is clean and cosy and the hosts are so nice and hospitable. I highly recommend staying there if you are in the area.

    Alina2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • The unit is very clean and the hosts are very welcoming. The bed room could be warm enough and cozy to sleep. It was a little bit cold to take a shower.

    Alisha2020-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lornas place really was a home away from home and a getaway out of the big crazy city, a place to relax and unwind. It was cozy and comfortable. The was nice trails to walk, a beautiful deck to look out at the stars and we had some farms fresh eggs from Lorna dropped for our breakfast, she really made us feel welcome, along with our fur babies which also had their fun exploring. This will definitely be a place to rebook and stay when we need time away. The place was very clean and well managed! Thank you for making our trip memorable!

    Nikki2020-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet and private location which is close to all amenities. The cabin was clean, bed was comfortable and a nice patio to bbq on. Highly recommend. The host was polite and prompt with responding also. Will definitely stay again.

  • Our family had a wonderful, quiet, peaceful getaway at the cabin! Beautiful, scenic property with lots of hiking nearby! Our girls enjoyed the great movie selection and exploring the area! Thank you so much!

    Taryn2020-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage nice and secluded, but still not too far from Penticton to get things from town or go to wineries. It was very well stocked with cooking supplies including ketchup, mustard, relish and mayo. We have been looking forward to this trip for a while and this cottage did not disappoint. The rooster who called in the mornings was such a cool touch but by no means disruptive.

    Bronwyn2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous place to stay! We were visiting for some tours in Oliver and Penticton for the weekend, so this location was perfect. It was really nice to have a quiet cozy place to come back to and relax. Everything we needed to cook up a simple dinner was there in the kitchen, and I appreciated the extra soaps in the bathroom as I had forgotten my own. Bed was very comfortable, and we didn't hear a sound at all - so nice and quiet! We will be back for sure!

The house is larger than it looks. It has two bedrooms, a fold out sofa in a large living room, a well equipped kitchen, as well as several other rooms.
The house is located driving distance away from 5-6 golf courses. We have a country store walking distance away for groceries and liquor. We have over a dozen wineries in the area within biking distance and Twisted Hills Cider is a short walk away through the orchard.
  • A beautiful house, in a quaint location. Andrea was a wonderful host.

    Wendy2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely heritage house with a down to earth country cabin/cottage vibe. It was hard to leave the cozy bedroom, luckily the outside surroundings are so amazing - gorgeous hills, river, country roads and orchards. Great set up for making big meals and we were really impressed with the range of kitchenware. Loved the big gated country yard with play area for the kids. Bedrooms are on either side of the house, which makes a comfortable set up for sharing the space. Andrea is a super host, was very helpful when I was planning the trip, knows a lot about the area, and has a great sense of humour. She picked baby his first plum!

    Ali2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a lovely place! Much more room in the house that you don't expect from the outside. We absolutely loved the pans they had, usually they are not as good as back home, but they were here! Also loved the cider that their son makes next door, brought a couple of bottles back home.

    Kirsten2019-08-25T00:00:00Z

This newly renovated cottage is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Similkameen Valley in the central interior of Southern British Columbia. Located in the historic village of Hedley, the cottage is one of the original miner's cottages built during the gold mining boom that began in the area in the late 1800's.
The entire cottage is for your own use. There is a kitchen equipped with a bar fridge, toaster, microwave and convection ovens, hot plate, and electric kettle. Coffee and tea are provided. In the living room is a wall-mounted tv with access to Netflix. On the small covered patio there is a bistro table and chairs where you can sit and take in the mountains. Parking is on the street out front.
Visit the local wineries. Float down the Similkameen from Bromley Rock. Cool your feet in Hedley Creek. Apex Ski Resort, Nickel Plate Nordic Center, and Manning Park Resort are all within easy driving distance. There you can find skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain biking. The area around Hedley is famous for its hunting and fishing. Or just sit and drink in the scenery with a glass of the local vintage in hand.
  • Great little place with all the needed comforts for our weeklong stay. Super friendly hosts and fast wifi- not a given in a small town in a valley :) We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Hedley, a surprising number of nice walks in a such a small town!

    Qureish2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Penny’s cottage was a lovely place to stay! When we arrived there was delicious homemade bread, jam and butter left for us on the table, which I thought was a nice touch. The cottage was spotless and the bed was very comfortable! We had dinner and watched movies by the fire. I would definitely stay at Penny’s cottage again. We had a very relaxing stay.

  • Lovely cosy cottage in the quaint little town of Hedley, was lovely to be greeted by Tony with a hot loaf of bread when we arrived. Such a comfortable bed, peaceful surroundings and toasty warm after a day in the snow. Would highly recommend this place and especially for a longer stay as its just over an hour from Manning park. Thank you Penny and Tony.

  • What a lovely cabin- my friend and I had a great one night stay while we snowboarded up in manning. I would stay here again! Hedley is a really picturesque little town and the views waking up were gorgeous.

    Marie2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and cozy place to stay. We booked in one of our guys who was working in the area and he was very happy at Penny's. Host gave amazing hospitality from the fresh loaf of homemade bread to the follow up messages when our guy had to leave the area after a big snow dump. Nice place to stay with friendly, caring people. Thanks Penny, we will certainly stay again if we are ever back in the area.

As you head into the town itself there is a new winery called Sqeezed. There are many more wineries in the area but are too numerous to list. In Gallagher Lake about 10mins away is a place that makes gin.In the winter my place is about 40 mins away from Baldy Mtn ski area. Oliver has 2 golf courses, Inkameep Canyon which you pass on the way into town and Fairview Mtn about 10 mins away.
  • Lovely place, friendly owner and cute dog and cat! :)

  • I stayed at Andrea's place for two nights and it was an absolute treat! Very cozy room in a house perfectly located for a wine tour of the region. The highlight of our stay was without a doubt Andrea herself, such a welcoming and thoughtful host :) She is also very knowledgeable about the area. Those fresh-baked cookies were a perfect snack for the road! Thanks again Andrea, I hope to be back in Oliver soon! :)

  • Julie’s place is lovely! Nicely decorated, comfortable, stylish. She has provided extra blankets, pillows, books, toiletries... everything you’ll need! It is situated on a working farm, has gorgeous views of the mountains. It’s close to a nice walking trail and is very close to many great wineries. We had a great time here and would definitely stay again. Julie has thought of some amazing little touches to make your stay just that much better :)

Cozy little guest house located in the beautiful mountains of Hedley, B.C. It has a full kitchen with all the basics. Living room , Dining area, 2 bedrooms , Bathroom with tub , Washer & dryer & a small patio. We also have Wi-Fi. Parking out front or on side street. Please advise at the time of booking if you are bringing a pet (with details) thank you.
The guest house is located on the back of our property & if you need anything or have any questions we live in the main house.
The Country market & park for kids is just across the street. The Hedley museum is worth a visit & I recommend having a piece of lemon meringue pie while you are there. Bromley Rock is our beach & a great place to relax or go tubing down the river. It's only a 12 minute drive to the west. Also 20 to 30 minutes to the east there are plenty of wineries to check out & enjoy. Close by there is hiking , fishing & you can ski at Apex Mountain in the winter.
  • The hosts were incredibly accommodating of our family and the dogs were very friendly. The boardgames and colouring were just the things we didn't know we needed. This space is very comfortable and homey, great for a young family. We'd happily stay here again.

  • Robert is a great host. We arrived at his house with some car issues and he directly ask if he can help. He made a few calls and his friends came over and looked at our car and helped us. The small town Hedeley is very cute and you can directly feel that everybody knows each other as its is really far off from bigger cities (Penticton is 1h drive away). The cabin was cozy, clean and the kitchen incl appliances were all working and we could cook great meals there. The view is fantastic as this cabin is located in a valley within the lower Okanagan mountains. We can definitely recommend this place.

  • This was a wonderfully simple and unique experience nestled deep in nature. The simpler the better! We would highly recommend and love to come back again during the summer to sit outside and look at the stars!

  • We stayed at the place only for one night but we would have loved to stay for longer. This beautiful and quiet little cottage is located in the middle of nowhere and is perfect for people who want to have some distance from their busy everyday lives. The place is equipped with basic amenities and the shared BBQ is great, especially as there is no real kitchen in the cottage. Thanks for a great stay!

My home is situated in the middle of organic orchards and vineyards in the Similkameen River Valley of the Okanagan Region, close to the famous Okanagan Lakes to the East and the Ashnola Wilderness Cascades Area to the West. You’ll will love my place because it's so peaceful and natural. My home is good for couples and solo adventurers, especially those who like the outdoors and healthy environments. I have two mountain bikes and a canoe available for your enjoyment. 420 and gay friendly.
Located in the most northern tip of the Sonora desert, just across the USA border in Canada, situated in the middle of organic orchards and vineyards, this lovely place is a true oasis of quiet and natural environments. Protected from the sometimes harsh weather of the west coast of British Columbia by the Cascade Mountains, hot and dry in the summer, cold and sunny in the winter. A wonderful place to relax and explore the mountains, forests and lakes of the Okanagan-Similkameen region.
  • Amazing place and host - the pool is as spectacular as it looks in photos and Peter put a lot of work into making his home a very enjoyable place to stay. Room is in the basement and is cool in the summer, the bathroom is on the ground floor. Great water pressure and lots of hot water :) Peter is a great host, very friendly and easy to talk to. He also went the extra mile to help us after an accident and we wouldn't have been able to get back on the road without him. Thank you Peter!

    Candy2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Peter was welcoming and very accommodating. His dogs are lovely and very well trained. The accommodation is as described. The location in the middle of an organic orchard surrounded by mountains is beautiful and unique. The bedroom is dark and cool. It is good to be aware that the stairs to the basement accommodation are a bit steep for anyone with mobility issues, and that the private bathroom is on the ground floor (though it was fine for us, and Peter was very kind about helping to carry luggage).

    Kim2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home-away. Nice spot to relax and enjoy the patio. Peter is a great host. Would stay again. Thx

    Eva2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Peter is a fantastic host with more enthusiasm and zest for life than most. His home is a beautiful museum of his travels and experiences and we feel so lucky to have come across his ad. The pool was a welcomed retreat after a long day of driving! Our bedroom was cool and quiet and tucked away for privacy. Peter's dogs are some of the best behaved we've ever come across and the house is clean. If you're slightly concerned about the pets I'd say you've got nothing to worry about. All in all an amazing detour from our winery tours and we hope to be back soon!

    Jeremy2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's place is an absolute gem. The space is stunning and so well thought out, the perfect mix of cozy, warm and homey with an interesting history and open, stunning layout. The location is perfect and close to many wineries. The milky way is clearly visible in the night sky and I can not get over how sweet his dogs are. It would be a mistake to stay or pass through Crawford without spending a few nights here.

    Regan2019-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great time vacationing at Peter's. The house is beautiful and cozy, the pool is gorgeous, pristine, and warm and Peter is thoughtful, organized and easy-going! His two dogs are so sweet and extremely well-behaved (and didn't give us any allergies at all since they're contained to a specific area of the house). Peter had great advice on the best ways for us to enjoy the area, and made sure we had the perfect mix of privacy and company. All in all, a great experience we'll think of fondly!

    Renata2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Peter is a wonderful host and his home is beautiful. Communication before the stay was quick and easy. Peter also offered such kind assistance during the stay to help ensure I was comfortable; he went above and beyond. Thank you for a great Airbnb experience!

  • Peter was so warm and friendly, lovely host. Easy, relaxed check in. Beautiful & extraordinarily clean home. It’s a perfect location to see the surrounding Similkameen wineries & Keremeos area. Definitely recommend this spot for a couple. We will definitely be back!

  • This is a beautifully done cottage in a stunning location. The bed, and the entire space, were very comfortable. If you're as lucky as we are, you may get to sample their delicious farm eggs and freshly baked bread, and even get a farm tour. We enjoyed our stay very much. Oh, and if you are looking for a place to eat, don't miss Row Fourteen at Klippers, just a kilometer or two away. Phenomenal food.

    John2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • A comfortable place to stay! A lovely studio and the bread, wine eggs and milk Yvonne and Morris provided helped us enjoy our stay! Would recommend.

    Elisha2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • We highly recommend. The Osprey Cabin and the location were perfect. There were fresh eggs, butter, milk, coffee, tea and their special bread waiting for us on arrival. We enjoyed the fruit from the trees on the farm. The Row Fourteen restaurant was an excellent recommendation. Yvonne and Morris are outstanding hosts.

    Mike2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed our stay. Yvonne and Morris have a vision which resonated with Us. You will certainly enjoy the farm produce they stock, don't miss out on the garlic scape salt; great with scrambled farm eggs and organic toast. Loved the clean lines and amenities in the Osprey Small house.

    Greg2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Yvonne & Morris have a great property and the personal cottage was perfect for my stay in Cawston. This was probably one of the best airbnb experiences I've had - would highly recommend!

    Vanessa2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely space- quiet, beautiful, well-designed. They provided home-made bread, farm fresh eggs and some sparkling wine to greet us when we arrived. The stocked fridge meant it was essentially a bed and breakfast. Great location in Cawston- near some outstanding wineries. We loved the really high end touches in the suite and we enjoyed the friendly cat. All in all, the perfect getaway spot for a weekend. We felt pampered!

    Nancy2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Yvonne and Morris were a complete pleasure. The place is more than we expected. Welcome bottle of wine, Coffee, fresh eggs, homemade garlic Scape salt and bread! The accommodation is spotless and the layout is perfect. The location makes you feel away from it all but only a short drive to some amazing vineyards and Oliver of course. We got a great tour of the organic farm and learnt a lot about garlic. The bread Yvonne makes is excellent and it’s by far the best garlic we have had. The patio was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee and in the evening our bottle of wine. Great hosts with a passion for what they do and you feel it the second you walk on their property. We will definitely be back!

  • This property was absolutely beautiful with easy access to wine tasting and local fruit stands. Heide was a wonderful host and let us upgrade to her glamping tents. So much thought and effort was put in by her. She and her daughter were so helpful in many ways. Such a beautiful space. If we ever travel up this way from Oregon again we’ll definitely stay here!

    Rachel2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The farm is great, our other guests were friendly and we had ample room to setup. The glamping tents look great and we'd definitely consider that for a future trip if we didn't have our camping gear with us. We appreciated the firepits and barbecues provided, and the gifts from Heide, and our kids loved the chickens, ducks, cats roaming around. We only stopped for a night to break up the drive across the province, but enjoyed ourselves picking fruit in the morning and left late in the morning in the end.

    Alan2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay and enjoy all the uniqueness of what Okanagan valley has to offer. We will be back for sure and refer the place to good friends and family members. Heide was a great host and it was pleasant to talk with her and learn more about the orchard and mini farm.

    Valérie2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Stay here, I swear you will have an amazing time! You will be camping on the U-pick with the animals, farmers, and fresh mountain air. Heide and here family were very accommodating and we're right there if we had any questions. You are also only a quick drive to the nearest town, or a brief walk to some amazing wineries. 10/10

    Cameron2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was much better than expected! The tenting area is a nicely mowed grassy area at the base of a rocky hillside, providing welcome shade at the end of a hot day. There are flush toilets and showers provided, plus a barbecue with propane, picnic tables, and even a lantern. PLUS! Heide invited us to make use of the produce in the fields, whatever we could reasonably eat, so we added tomato and red pepper to our dinner and snacked on fresh picked plums and peaches. Very unexpected but welcome perk! My boys loved it. Lots of animals to talk to, especially friendly goats and playful chickens, plus a very affectionate cat. They also enjoyed climbing the mountain. There was only one other family while we were there, making for a peaceful experience. We were just stopping for one night on our way back to the coast, but I would definitely return. This is a lovely family farm (owned since 1952!) and the pride of place is clear. I also appreciated learning bits and pieces of the challenges of running a working farm.

Hope Springs is a natural serene setting in the quiet community of Olalla...sometimes referred to as OOOlala. This small valley is 25 + minutes from most Vineyards and Apex Ski Resort. Onsite Massage and Alternative Health available. Hope Springs is open to the diversity that exists in our world. Life is good here. Hope Springs is 35 minutes from Penticton, 40 minutes Oliver, Osoyoos and 80 minutes from Kelowna. Plenty of great vineyards rights here in the Similkameen.
The room is furnished with an antique bed from this area. Olalla, once a thriving gold mining community, has a very rich and sometimes sordid history. Old west BC style, Keremeos is an old town emerging as a place desired amongst the elderly.
A very rural setting, there is about 100 homes in this community. Creekside, is up against the giant wilderness backdrop, and nestled along the Olalla creek, so we are at Hope Springs.
  • Michael was a thoughtful, generous host! He went out of his way to provide us with options in the area for each day, and even packed us some treats for skiing. We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. We look forward to coming back!

  • Truly was a unique experience. Micheal is a great and generous host. Highly recommend this opportunity to everyone.

  • Excellent host, good natured, patient and accommodating! The space is wonderful- complete with bubbling creek to relax to outdoors! Clean, comfortable and worth the 10 minute drive from Keremeos!

  • Michael is great. Super great guy with a super-comfy place. Attention to detail, access to an awesome and peaceful deck, good food, and friendly host. If you need to relax, this is the place. It felt homey, and special.

  • Michael was an amazing host! We arrived later in the evening and he came out to the truck to meet us and help us get settled. His home is comfortable and so very calm and relaxing, we were immediately at ease. The private bedroom where we stayed had everything one might need, including fresh lemon water, some good books and a little blue tooth speaker in case we wanted some tunes. The bathroom across the hall was very clean and well kept. Michael served us a delicious made-to-order breakfast which was absolutely the perfect way to start our day! It was so lovely to take in some fresh air down by the creek and then play a quick game of pool. We will certainly be returning!

    Elizabeth And Layton2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Michael is an amazing host. There is everything you need in his place to keep you entertained and the home made/organic breakfast was spectacular! Highly recommended

    Edith2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Michael takes a lot of care to create awesome experiences for his guests. We really enjoyed the cozy area on the deck to watch the stars late at night. There were also a lot of thoughtful touches, like lemon water when we arrived, special non-dairy yogurt, and fresh berries! You can tell he is gifted at making people feel comfortable and welcome. We felt more like neighbors than visitors :) Overall, we really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere Michael fostered. He had a very intuitive sense of what guests needed and was present and helpful while also allowing space when it was time. Thanks so much for a beautiful weekend Michael !!

    Abner2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Michael's home was a wonderful place for us to stay when we recently attended a wedding at the nearby Grist Mill. Michael was very attentive to our needs, even going so far as to drive us back down to the Grist Mill the morning after the wedding so we could pick up our car! Above and beyond! The room we were provided was very clean, comfy, and private. New toiletries were left on the bedside table in case we needed them. The entire house was immaculate. In the morning, Michael had to work for a few hours so he let us sleep in and left us with delicious homemade scones and cereals (with an option for bacon and eggs which we opted out of). We had our breakfast on Michael's spacious upstairs deck overlooking a babbling creek and a spectacular mountain range in the Silmilkameen Valley. The home is centrally located for exploring the beautiful valley, even the Okanagan too. Michael sent us on our way with water and more scones. We couldn't recommend his home more!

  • Corrie was a great host. We took advantage of her vast knowledge of wineries in the area and did a guided wine tour with her. The home was very clean and well equipped.

    Claudia2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Corrie has made an amazing space; warm and inviting, with all kinds of interesting and creative touches. We loved being there, and the location was great to visit some of the most amazing wineries in this part of the world. We are definitely coming back, and I will book early to make sure we can stay in Corrie’s wonderful home again.

  • Clean, quiet, well-appointed, great location, superb host. Corrie's bungalow truly is a home away from home with anything and everything you could need. Anyone with a keen design eye will swoon over the mid century modern vibe and specially selected pieces that create such a beautiful space to relax and unwind. The outdoor spaces are equally as great, with sunny spots to lounge or the comfortable covered deck area. Comfortable beds, too! Every inch was spotless and obviously carefully cleaned between guests. Best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Thank you, Corrie.

    Kristi2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • A really wonderful place that is well updated, and well taken care of. The deck looking over Tuc-el-nuit lake was perfect for a morning relaxing or an evening glass of wine. Great appliances, beautiful master bathroom and a stylish living area.

    Curtis2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, awesome view, private neighborhood. The inside of the space was beautifully decorated and very spacious, however we didn't really use it as the deck area was exceptional! Large with two different sitting areas and beautiful views from every angle. The deck was covered providing shade when we needed it. The yard and the splash pool were also gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you to Corrie and Stephane!

    Karen Chris2019-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Corrie’s home was lovely; there was a welcoming bottle of local wine in the fridge, and the deck and view were perfect, we spent most of our time out there having coffee or wine when at the house. Cupboards were well stocked, and the home was very clean and well appointed!

  • This was truly a perfect place for our little family of four and our Houdini Labrador dog (completely fenced big acreage!). The space is bright and comfortable with a big kitchen, laundry, super comfortable beds and a great outdoor space for playing and relaxing. Kanver was very gracious and helpful with one tiny issue that he addressed immediately. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed!

    Stephanie2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great and the family is very friendly. It’s a 2 bedroom apartment attached to a large garage and unoccupied office room. The building is separate, but right next to the residence of the property owner. It sits on the opposite side so there is plenty of privacy. My dog LOVED the orchard space. He had 6 acres to frolic, explore, and get his zoomies out. The unit has everything you need and beautiful scenery all around you. The town is small, but has the essentials. As an American visiting, I’d suggest grocery shopping at the “Buy Low Foods” and not try “Keith’s No Frills”. They didn’t accept my payment method, no atm, and you need a Looney to check out a cart (which you get back when done, but Americans don’t carry this around.) The nearby towns are awesome and the drives are crazy beautiful. Orchards everywhere! I went during winter so I missed out on the gazillion fresh fruit stands every couple miles. But I imagined the amazing things one would encounter during the right season. Lots of hiking nearby! Also, random point of interest for fellow nerds...the CHIME telescope is super close by! Aaaaaaand you can go tour it! The drive is beautiful and an alternate route to and from Penticton. Which is how I found it. Took the scenic route and passed by a fairly “official” looking sign/entrance to what looked like possibly a government facility. But it’s a research center with the CHIME telescope. Winter seasons only have self guided tours, but still a super cool and random point of interest. This part of BC is crazy beautiful and I hope to return soon.

It was a great getaway for going to lakes, wineries and amazing road biking. You can start biking right from the front door into great hills and views — with very respectful drivers! Thanks for being great hosts!

  • This is our second visit to Mark and Mitra’s cottage and it was even more amazing than the first time! You can tell they put a lot of thought and effort into making the experience amazing for their guests. We loved using the grill and enjoyed the view of the lake. We were also lucky to see deer eating by the blueberry tree a couple times. It was such a dreamy weekend. Thanks Mark and Mitra!

  • We had a wonderful time at this rustic little cabin. We loved how the cabin was so rustic but yet had all the amenities of home. (WHEN BOOKING, PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY! We have dogs and cats roaming the property, if you are uncomfortable with that- this might not be a good fit for you) Situated just outside of the Town of Oliver, off Highway 97 lays our little piece of irrigated desert. This little gem is surrounded by world famous wineries, beautiful golf courses, lakes and Mountains just minutes away.
Our fully renovated guest cottage situated near a fruit orchard has everything you need to feel at home but it’s so close to nature, the original owner had called it a “wilderness farming experience”. Without leaving the veranda, you can observe the friendly deer that come to gnaw on the fruit and branches in the surrounding garden, photograph the resident California quail roaming around the orchard and if you’re lucky, you can spot our “king of the castle” tabby cat Marus, stalking his prey. But please hide your shoes, Roy the dog might steal them. Guests have access to half of the cabin pictured on photos, the second part of the cabin is a separate suite (Apple Suite).
  • The Pickers cabin was great, clean, quiet, off the beaten path, but still very close to downtown Oliver.

  • We stayed at The Cottage with Brenda and Rick. There was a full kitchen and we made ourselves a simple dinner after full days of exploring the local highlights of museums, kvr walks, beaches and wineries. The Cottage has a wonderful plush bed and everything was absolutely sparkling clean. Personal, organized and gracious. Brenda and Rick took care of our every need.

    Suzanne2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Casa Colina was an incredible property and Brenda was a fantastic host. We had our own little private sanctuary and were awoken by a mama deer and her two does outside our window on our first morning. The pool was to die for and so close to so many great wineries. Highly recommend for a couples weekend!

    Hayley2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Hidden gem in a peaceful and tranquil setting. The cottage was fully equipped and the attention to detail was very nice. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Brenda was a great host who responds very quickly to inquiries. Anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing get away this is the perfect location.

  • Brenda’s place was an absolute dream. From the moment I got there I knew I should booked a longer stay! Brenda and her husband are tremendous hosts - not to mention she makes a killer breakfast! So warm and responsive. The cabin I stayed in was private, cool, clean, and comfortable in every sense of the word. They do a fantastic job maitaining the property and it has almost a Tuscany vibe. The pool is amazing on a hot day and it’s a great location to explore the wineries around Okanagan Falls or just spend a day by the pool eating on their amazing patio! I’ll be back again soon!

I am a family of one living in a 3 bedroom house in very small town Hedley, BC - about 4 hours drive from Vancouver. I offer a spare bedroom with a queen bed, ceiling fan, and adjacent bathroom. We have hiking, fishing, skiing, and WINERIES nearby. The Valley has been named as one of the 6 most under-rated wine valleys in the world by Vines Magazine and one of the top 5 wine regions you have never heard of by En Route Magazine.

A recent guest says - "Your welcoming home is so central in Hedley, with it's wonderful Museum and historical attractions that take one back in time. There are many choices for day-trips both east and west of Hedley when you have enjoyed all of the local sights. Be sure to visit the Seniors' Centre and chat with the interesting oldtimers over morning coffee. Local crafts and garden produce are plentiful in the Summer. I'll return in late summer to obtain the local tomatoes." Another says - "This is an excellent location in downtown Hedley, a small town with a big history, good hiking, and The Hitching Post Restaurant [sadly burned down in 2018]. It is not far from wineries, cideries, and organic produce, all on a picturesque route through the South Okanagan-Similkameen."

  • Holly's place was welcoming and clean, it had everything I could have needed, and the check in process was quick and simple! On top of that Holly and her husband Jeremy were fantastic hosts, very friendly, ready to offer help any time it was needed! Also anyone who enjoys vineyards, wine or good food, their place is within minutes of all of it! (Not to mention some great hikes). There was so much more to my trip than this air bnb booking, but it was enough by itself to make me start planning my next trip back. If you find yourself in the osoyoos/oliver area, I would definitely recommend staying here!
