“The Chart House was started by 2 Surfers as a way to allow them to enjoy their passions. Surfing in the Summer and Skiing in the winter. Perched atop a hill near Kingsbury Grade and overlooking exquisite Lake Tahoe. It is known for its seafood. Try there original Hot Lava Chocolate Cake. ”
“Another local favorite, close to home. Good grub, draft beers, and a lively vibe make this a good choice. Somewhat of a local tradition for apres ski drinks if you're skiing at Heavenly.”
“The 'local's' casino. Well priced drinks, liberal slots and always bustling. This has been a traditional location to start off a night out for years. Many end up returning in the wee hours to get one last cocktail before bed. Open 24 hours.”
“Boulder Lodge is where beginners can get lessons and start off on beginner lifts. If you want to get to the top of the mountain faster, go the Stagecoach Lodge.”
“There is parking at the stagecoach lodge if you arrive within the first 10-15 minutes of lift opening. Additionally, a bus picks up on tramway drive every 20 minutes and will drop off here.”
“You can walk out of our door and connect to this trail, it can be taken down to the stateline/Heavenly Village area. The Van Sickle trail has views of the lake on the way down to town. One of our favorite ways to use this trail is to hike down to town and have brunch or lunch and a drink. Then we take the direct bus back up the hill which stops right on our street.”
