We very much enjoyed our stay at Jayne's place. The area had a great feel to it, clean, nicely decorated and well laid out. There was breakfast with good coffee on offer, we would recommend this place.

Jaynie made us very welcome and we settled very quickly into her lovely home. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, as lovely as the photo shows. Jaynie's house is very well positioned, with pubs, restaurants and a coffee shop within yards. Jaynie herself was very helpful, sorting us out with fridge space and an iron! We really felt at home.

We had a wedding nearby so the location was fantastic! The room was exactly as how was described and our host, Jaynie, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and helped us organise Taxis. The in room intel on local food would have been useful if we had stayed longer, alas only the one night this time! Large and comfortable bed, good hanging space for clothes could not fault anything. We’d be happy to recommend this room to anyone!

A lovely escape location in the middle of the beautiful Hampshire countryside. We live locally and needed somewhere extra for guests we couldn't accommodate at home. Miranda was a fabulous host and easy to communicate with. The house is warm, clean and spacious and the dogs make it homely. The pool was a great discovery for my nephews. Thank you, we will remember this place for all our 'over-spill' guests.

We had a lovely time enjoying Miranda's peaceful cottage. She gave good directions before we got there and was on hand when I pulled up outside her house to show me in to the cottage down the side. We didn't see her the rest of the time, but Miranda was very happy if we had needed her at all. There was a good suggestion of a walk to take across the fields at the back. The rooms were a lot bigger than I had imagined from the photos and the double bed was so big it was perfect for two female friends sharing! As it was December we made use of the additional heaters which worked by putting a few pounds in the meter and then lasted several hours. The cottage was exceptionally clean and bedding and towels were provided. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Cottage which was ideal when my usual accommodation wasnt available. Well laid out, spacious and clean it was perfect for myself and colleagues to use. Miranda ensured that in her absence a friend was able to meet us with the keys and show us around. Certainly one to note for a quiet, secluded weekend or mid week break

We had a very nice stay at Miranda's cottage. It is child friendly and the place is big enough for a family of four. There are great walks around and many local activities available. Miranda was very welcoming. She made us feel home instantly. "We came as strangers and left as friends" is a frame posted in the cottage that defines it all. We look forward to coming back soon.

What a great place. We stayed for just one night but could have stopped for longer. Very big, very quaint, very comfortable, very country. Miranda was lovely, very communicative, and gave us great recommendations for hikes and pubs.

We had a lovely stay in this cosy countryside cottage. It was quiet and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The big TV was super, but the wifi signal sometimes weak (coming from the main house). Miranda was very flexible with our arrival and departure times. She was always available if we had any questions. The children loved the dogs and the swim in the pool. Thank you Miranda!

Michael is a really nice, talkative and interesting host. Lots of great little touches - mineral water by my bed, tea and freshly squeezed orange juice, lifts to and from the station (which was a godsend) and good company! Really nice surrounding walks and countryside, great stroll and fresh air for a smogged Londoner! Probably not for über OCD tidy people, but for everyone else, just perfect! Highly recommended!

The Chapel is in a beautiful quite location, which suited me perfectly for a two month stay while I was house hunting around here. Michael is a super host, always available and great company. His house is his studio too; examples of his work are all around the place. I had the single room, full use of a really well equipped kitchen and the sitting room was a great place to relax or work in. Thoroughly recommended.

As working away from home can be stressful , Michael provided a great stay for me . It was like staying with a friend of a friend ... Very quiet .. As Michael was there when I was , our interaction was as much or little that felt right at the time .... For me the best was a quiet nights sleep , though all aspects were great .. I should have made time for breakfast....... :-) Freshly squeezed juice was an envigorating start to the day.....

Quiet and Secluded really does sum up the property, I expected to be in the countryside but i didn't expect to be surrounded by picture postcard views, a stunning thatched property and serenity. not a single noise stirred me in the night. The property is private with its own amenities meaning a single night or a whole week is easily catered for. fresh eggs for breakfast from the local hens (or ducks), i couldn't wish for more. truly outstanding. The expression "home from home" doesn't do it justice as the property is nicer than my own home. highly recommend this property and i will be staying again as soon as i can.

The perfect place to stay. This is my very first experience of Airbnb and I fear that Ysabelle's annex may have spoiled me for any future accommodation! The annex is beautiful self contained accommodation separate from the main house giving total privacy. Very comfortably furnished, warm and cozy. The bed is super comfortable and I slept very well. What a place! Miranda was an excellent host, greeting my wife, 8 week old baby, and I with (not for the baby of course!) After a long day on the road. Miranda's farmhouse cottage is set in a beautiful part of the country, with a horse and ducks to greet you up the path to the building. My wife and I stayed in the super kingsize bed, made up from 2 singles, it was very comfortable and as the other room was free at the time she'd also offered us to use that one instead as well as the slightly larger shower in the second room. We were visiting family in Tadley so were only there to sleep and for breakfast up were made to feel very welcome by Miranda. As the house is a classic older farmhouse some of the ceilings and doors are slightly lower than average so at 6 foot I kept forgetting to duck and banged my head several times, but that's my own fault! Miranda welcomes dogs too which is great, we took ours with us but she ended up staying with family on the end but would have been happy there. Thank you for having us, hopefully be back down once the baby is born!

The room I stayed in included all of the necessary amenities, such as a sink, and food for both evening and morning. The large bed was extremely comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Katie was an excellent host who was just next door if we needed anything. There was breakfast provided and use of their drive way. The listing itself was lovely and on a very quiet road. We had a wedding to attend at St Pauls which was just round the corner.

What a complete treat - staying at Katie's Annex. It is absolutely beautiful, clean tidy and beautifully furnished. Katie was there to meet us when we arrived at 11 and we were fully furnished with biscuits, tea, coffee, juice breakfast and even jelly beans. I would absolutely recommend this self contained Annex to anyone who was heading Katie's way. Highly Recommended

We had a great time in Katies annex. A lovely area, a great host and the room was just perfect. Lots of space for the three of us. All was very clean and beautifully decorated. In the morning Katie provided us a breakfast basket which included all we needed. This place ist just ideal to explore the area (Jane Austen country, also close to Highclere castle - we climbed on Beacon hill to see it as entrance tickets where sold out) or for a stopover on the way to your destination. Beautiful surroundings around a cute little cottage! Very unique and homely which we needed for a work trip away. Perfectly located amidst the quaint Hampshire woods and a short drive to Newbury, Highclere castle and Donnington castle, this very beautiful cottage is as far from the hustle and bustle of London as you can get. It is soothing and relaxing and the river nearby allows close encounters with badgers, deers and hedgehogs. Most definitely an experience to be repeated.

We (4 adults and a baby) had a great weekend at this quintessentially English country cottage. From the fully equipped kitchen, to the open fire and the quiet (but convenient) location it was wonderful home for us to spend a couple of days. FYI A couple of our party are over 6ft tall and there are some low beams\ceilings (esp. upstairs) but we didn't have any head bangs getting about.

We'd like to thank Katrina very much for receiving us so kindly and for providing such a lovely place to stay. We felt very welcome, and enjoyed the comfort and peace of Katrina's room. Robin and Silvia.

Katrina has set a lovely self contained room above their garage and it was really lovely, just a s you can see from the photos. Just right for my one night stay and lovely to find freshly squeezed orange juice and bottled water in the fridge - a nice little touch.

I was warmly welcomed when I arrived and showed around the place which was exactly as described. It was perfect for me as I needed a quiet place to stay whilst working nearby. Will definitely use again.

We were made very welcome by Katrina and Peter, the large comfy bed was very welcome after a really long day. There are tea and coffee facilities plus toaster so take your breakfast as there are no local shops. We certainly would recommend this accommodation for anyone who wishes to stay in the local area.

Our hosts were very lovely and welcoming. We were their first "Just married's" and they were very sweet and even left us a bunch of roses and a Happily Ever After card! We loved the peace and quiet of the room and the beautiful surroundings. Was such a shame we had to leave early but so appreciated the help our hosts gave us when we had no phone reception! The house is pretty, quiet and in a lovely rural country setting. Mariette kindly allowed us to arrive early to drop off our bags before the wedding we attended later that day, which was very helpful. The bedroom is lovely and the bed is very comfortable, but we didn't feel the bathroom was very clean considering the extra cleaning fee charge. Unfortunately, we also went without a proper breakfast the following morning because we missed the fact that the description mentions breakfast 'on request'. We had assumed that because the description of the property type says 'Bed and Breakfast' and 'Breakfast is provided' is listed in the amenities, that it came automatically, but when we got up in the morning we were offered a tiny bun and tea or coffee just as we we were leaving - just goes to show: always read the description fully or you'll go hungry! Nice place, but we felt it was a little over priced given we were sharing the family bathroom and did not have breakfast.
