“KUKI'O BEACH is a delightful crescent of sand located within the Four Seasons Resort. A natural breakwater creates a cove that allows for reasonably safe swimming and snorkelling. Green sea turtles (Honu) frequent this area. The beach has full amenities. Bring your own shade. (20 minutes)”

“Manini'owali Beach (Kua Bay) - take the Kua Bay access road down to the parking area. There are restrooms for changing, sometimes a food truck and white sands awaiting. The beach is a nice size, not usually too busy and plenty of great waves.”

“A 35 minute drive will get you to this great keiki beach, good for small children. You need one of a limited number of daily passes from the security gate, which keeps crowds down. There is good snorkeling, and it is surrounded by nice houses. If you walk to the north, you may see a lot of turtles.”

“KIKAUA POINT BEACH is a secluded family-friendly beach located within the Kuki’o golf and Beach Resort. Nobody knows about this place, so keep it our little secret. This small beach features soft white sand that gently slopes into the usually calm waters of a protected inlet. The beach has full amenities. Bring your own shade. (20 minutes)”

“We suggest going early if you visit this beach as the number of public parking spots is limited. They will let you know at the gate if they are full, in which case try Mauna Kea up the road, or Kua Bay back towards town. Kuiko is almost never crowded, and has some nice snorkeling as well. It is a bit of a walk from parking, so be prepared if you are setting up for the day. Restrooms and showers. The gate will provide directions.”
