Beautiful stay! Clean, spacious, cozy, lovely furnishings. Perfect for a mountain getaway. Close enough to Banff and Lake Louise for hiking and hot springs, but far enough away that it's quiet and you can see the stars. The local restaurant is a must-visit, too.

My partner and I loved staying here while we were exploring the Rockies. Jeremy and Karen’s space is beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. We particularly appreciated that they’d even thought to include a clothing drying rack as we had a lot of wet clothes after a day of winter hiking! They were very quick to respond. 10/10 experience

Great apartment and location for anyone wanting a midpoint to do day trips from. We stayed 4 nights and covered it all: Jasper, glaciers, Banff, snow, Lake moraine and Lake Louise, a bear, elk, coyotes, -8’ and plus 8’. What a place!! I would definitely stay here again and recommend highly to others.

This place is a great location if you are visiting Banff and other surrounding areas. Only about 20 minutes from Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. The space itself was very clean and the bed was very comfortable after a long day of hiking. Quiet location. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay! I found the location to be perfect -- everything we wanted to do was an easy drive, but we had the peace and quiet of Field vs. the craziness of Banff. Jeremy and Karen were great hosts. I'll definitely look to book this place again if I ever find myself in the area.

Great place to be based for easy access to Lake Louise. Very spacious, warm. The flat is at the ground floor. It is spacious and has fully equipped kitchen. Separate entrance provides full privacy. Totally recommend to spend a few nights in this beautiful corner of the world!

Jana and Francis’s place is a wonderful fully equipped space in the heart of Field. Excellent location for day tripping in the national parks. The space is warm, cozy, clean and very quiet. And a most comfortable bed and pillows! Directions and check-in were spot on. Hosts were a text or phone call away to answer questions. 👍 👍 We will definitely stay here again!

We found Jana and Mark's place very practical, cosy and clean - it being in a basement didn't feel depressing (although maybe because we were there during a snow storm, and could watch the snow fall through the windows). I am sure we'll be happy to spend more time there on a future trip.

Jana and Francis' place was a really lovely, comfortable and cosy flat in a nice quiet town in the mountains. Communication was great all the way through with local info provided, and check in was very easy with a code lock. The flat was bigger than expected and very clean with everything I needed for my stay. Field is a wonderful location in the middle of the mountains and a great base for visiting lake Louise, sunshine village, Johnston Canyon and Banff as long as you have a car. Could not recommend this place enough for a great stay away from the crowds!!

Antoine and Katrinas mountain getaway was very cozy and made us feel at home. They checked in half way through our stay to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We really were in the heart of the mountains and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay at!

Space was very clean. We were impressed. Check in was easy and simple. Did not meet hosts but were very kind when communicating through the app. Worth the money.

My wife and I were passing through on a road trip and booked this place for 1 night, pretty last minute. Antoine and Katrina were flexible with checking in as we showed up very late at night, and communicating with them was super easy. We just used it as a place to rest our heads for 1 night but we would love to stay there for longer and explore the area!

Excellent place to stay while we were ice climbing in Field. Private, quiet and comfortable. Easy to check in and out and convenient parking out front.

Perfect clean cozy quiet space and place for our wintertime ice climbing trip. Field itself is a sweet treat of a town. The hide-a-bed couch was more comfortable than I expected. Plus a beautiful blue-eyed well-behaved husky to greet us outside. We would gladly stay here again.

Clean, quiet, comfy place on the “quiet side” of the Park. Considerably closer to Lake Louise than Canmore/Banff.

Craig has the most adorable young Siberian Husky named Dante! He was laying right in front of the door to the apartment when we arrived. He waited for an invitaton to say "Hi", before enthusiastically greeting us. He is the best mannered young husky I have ever met (I used to have huskies)! BTW the apartment is wonderful, too! It is very convient and quiet, and has everything you need to spend several days exploring Yoho.

We had a great stay, everything we needed, clean, easy check-in. TV has a chromecast so I was able to stream Netflix from my phone. Approx 23 min easy drive to Lake Louise for skiing. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again, thanks for having us!

Stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Kitchen is very well stocked and the space was bigger than I expected. I messed up my original booking but was quick to respond and get it fixed.

I booked Fireweed Hostel spontanously and I was surprised to find such a gem in the midst of the Rockies. Perfect surroundings for the outdoor lover, very clean, and supercozy living-room/kitchen area... perfectly equipped. If I am in the area again, I will book again.

I have nothing to say but great things about Craig’s place.It was a wonderful hostel and very well ran. The location is perfect and I like that the town is out of the way of Tourists. The hostel was outstandingly clean and all the amenities were provided. Great price and Craig and his employees were very helpful about hikes and things to do. I will definitely book this place when I come back.

The Fireweed Hostel is exactly what you need if you're a traveler that needs a bed to crash in but doesn't mind the dorm life. The beds are comfortable, the blankets are warm, and the WiFi is reliable. All this for about the same price as a spot in the nearby campgrounds.

On our hike tour through the national parks we spend a night at the truffle pigs lodge. The room was nice the food downstairs was great. Just the noise cause of the trains during the night wasnt that fun. But we would recommend the truffle pigs lodge!

Kim's cutie a-frame is in the cutest little town in BC. Visiting this area of Canada ended up being my favorite part of the trip! The basement of Kim's house was great; the kitchen has all the amenities you'll need, everything was clean and it was a sweet retreat. Just keep in mind that it is a basement, there will likely be noise from above. I would most definitely stay here again, it is a cutie little town! Eat at the local restaurant & visit Emerald Lake!

A nice little fireplace in the living room adds an authentic touch. The place was clean and cozy as described. A great place to sleep while checking out Lake Louise for sure.

Great place to hang out for the weekend . Full amenities, just need some food. COZY fireplace, great communication, excellent comfy bed, soft!!! bath towels, game boards Netflix, large bright windows, easy to find. Just fown the street is the restaurants, etc. Home away from home.

Misha and Radim’s place is incredible. Right in the heart of Field. The hospitality was perfect and I would highly recommend staying here for anyone staying in Field. It’s an easy drive to amazing cross country skiing and down hill skiing at Lake Louise.

This is such a beautiful place inside and out. We loved our spacious it was and how it had everything we needed. The Wildflower is a perfect place for a mountain get away. It was really special and we are so happy to have spent our time here. We absolutely loved it :)

Good place to be in field

Field is the(winter) quiet side, as opposed to Canmore/Banff. This clean quiet, and comfortable apt. Is a great deal.

Very cozy place to spend a weekend!

We loved our stay in Field! It was a quiet, comfortable town with lots of rustic charm. The guesthouse was exceptionally clean and tidy with a private entrance. Key coded doors made it easy to come and go without remembering to grab the keys. The living area is spacious with a large kitchenette. Our stay was very cozy and began with Sophie having to help us with a frozen trunk lock (pack your lock de-icer in the winter months!). Overall, we would definitely come back to Field and stay here. Great local amenities and close to all of the sights we wanted to see without being overly crowded.

Very thoughtful, had a few toys placed in the living room before we got their for our young infant. Great location as it’s right by both restaurants.

Very clean, very warm, the landlord is also very kind. It was the night we slept the best after we went to Canada. A little further from Jia Sibo to Banff Road, a little rest in the field, close to the natural bridge, Emerald Lake and other attractions, here is a good choice. recommend!

Cosy space great as a home base for exploring the mountains! We were left our privacy and we're given tips on nearby eats and sites in a little info book left for us :)

We were 100 % satisfied with our choice of Darren's and Paulina's place to stay. It is located in the basement (still with upper daylight windows) and very spacious - separate bedroom, bath and a large combined kitchen and living area. In addition, it was fully equipped in every regard. Plus we received a personal warm welcome - very nice! :) The village of Field does not offer much opportunities to buy food or go out for dinner. But if you remember supplying yourself beforehand, it is still a good choice - short distance to Yoho National Park and Lake Louise for day trips in a tremendously beautiful environment.

This is a very quiet place in Field. It is extremely quiet and there are not a lot of things to do in this town. But you can also save some money by choosing it if you do not wanna stay around Lake Louise. Overall, we had a great time.

We had impromptu stay here as the Icefields Parkway was closed... and we really enjoyed it. The space was great and we appreciated Craig's quick response in accepting our request last minute.

Craig's airbnb had everything we needed - fully stocked kitchen, warm cozy bed and he even freshened up the space when we would leave for the day. This was our second time staying and skiing at Lake Louise. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful town, good location for Lake Louise or Kicking Horse. Nice place for 2-3 people. Kitchen was adequate for cooking.

It was a great place to stay. A good amount of space to relax after skiing all day. The chromecast was a super nice touch. The kitchen was fantastically well equipped enabling us to make nice meals allowing us to save a ton of money. This would be a great home base for anyone looking to ski the area or tour the area in the summer.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We were there for a week and cooked our own food everyday. The kitchen equipment is very sufficient for daily meals. The location is at Yoho National Park and near lake Louise. About one hour drive to Banff and 2.5 hour drive to Calgary.

The accommodation was perfect, especially for the price. Field is in a great location, situated within beautiful Yoho National Park. Craig was a GREAT help, as my car got stuck in the snow and he helped me out with no hesitation. Highly recommend.

We had an awesome time staying at this airbnb for 3 nights. Very clean and nice touches with small things like hot chocolate and tea restocked daily. Good price. Field is a very quiet and cozy town close to lake louise.

The Best hostel in Field

Cannot recommend this hostel enough. We stayed for 4 nights and it felt like home. Craig and the staff were wonderful hosts. Field is a very quaint village with lots of character.

It’s a very nice hostel. The check in was easy. The kitchen is well equipped and the shared rooms are really nice. It was clean and we felt comfortable.

A great location, a peaceful town and a wonderful place with great hospitality. It would definitely recommend this to a group of travelers, as this is a bunker room. And the bedding was super clean, too.

We had a great long weekend at Burgess Lookout in Field, BC. Field was the perfect launching pad for a weekend of cross country skiing. The trails were beautifully groomed, the snow was plentiful and the scenery was gorgeous. John's cabin was cozy, clean and well appointed - we enjoyed lazy mornings on the couch with coffee and quiet evenings working on puzzles or reading books. We had everything we needed to self-cater our meals, but treated ourselves to a meal out at a local restaurant (The Truffled Pig) and were very glad we did. Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing time!

Our stay at John's Lookout cabin was just lovely, nestled in a small town against the gorgeous mountains. The code to access the cabin worked perfectly, and we immediately felt warm and comfortable upon entry. The cabin was clean, styled very well, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and the stove/oven worked great. We did not use the TV, but we did enjoy a game of Scrabble :) The dedicated parking spot was quite nice as well. We traveled to Banff, Lake Louise, and Golden for day-trips. We very much enjoyed our stay and recommend this cabin stay to others!

This was our second stay at John's place and we absolutely loved it. He has thought of every detail to make your stay completely comfortable. Field is the best, and this place completely deserves it's amazing ratings.

Amazing cozy cabin with outstanding views. It is clear that a lot of thought went into this to make there the best experience. John even made us a sled cart to help us with bring our luggage to the car, parked a block away as the plow had not yet passed after a snowstorm. We loved our stay, thank you!

This cabin was the absolute perfect place for my partner and I to have a quiet white Christmas. The cabin was warm, comfortable, stylish and had everything we could ever need. Field is stunning and surrounded by mountains and we got lots of beautiful snow. John was an incredibly friendly and helpful host, from giving us very helpful advice before our trip to including thorough instructions on how everything in the cabin worked and lots of books and brochures with information on the surrounding area. Being Christmas time the cabin was decorated with beautiful touches that made it very special. Thank you again John, we were rather reluctant to leave!

This place was great! The town is incredibly small, but the hostel is walking distance from the one restaurant, a cute pottery shop and also great views of the train/mountains! The hosts were very responsive, met me when I checked in to show me the whole place and were very personable! The space was very clean, including the shared bathrooms and kitchen as well. Bed was comfortable as well! Would definitely stay here again!

The fireweed hostel had everything we needed! Parking close by. Easy check in. Full kitchen and bathroom amenities. Lovely place to stay outside the busyness of the towns nearby.

Nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed in! The bunks are very sturdy and quiet and comfy, the bathrooms were super clean, it felt very safe, and we loved the shared living area with a fireplace. It was fun meeting other travelers from around the world while enjoying a puzzle by the fire. We intended to stay for one night but booked for a second night! Thanks Craig!

We enjoyed our stay in Field! Very cute little town, perfect accommodations, amazing dinner at the Truffle Pigs. There was a herd of elk right in town. We had a mix up where the front desk didn't have us booked in even though it was confirmed on airbnb, so I would recommend calling to confirm after booking! We were lucky there was a room available and staff was very polite and apologetic. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room and snacks available for purchase. Close proximity to lake louise. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Good place to stay in Field.

The addition of the Truffle Pig was a very convenient and relaxing commodity. We went there twice in a 24 hr period bc the customer service, hospitality, and sheer convenience of delicious food and drinks was a rarity hard to find in other Airbnb places we’ve stayed. The town was welcoming and beautiful and Jennifer’s extra directions were helpful in finding the Truffle Pig. The staff were what made the experience the most memorable. I think Clarissa was the name of the lady who helped us the most but the other staff were just as accommodating. Thanks for a great trip and we would definitely recommend to others looking for a place of solitude and unique experience.

Don't hesitate to stay here! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean and cozy. The location is ideal for exploring and the staff gave excellent recommendations! Also, I would stay here again just to eat the food at Truffle Pig!! It is SO good. You could order anything off the menu and be blown away!

Amazing hostel in the middle of the rockies, Field is a cute town well located if you are looking for space and peace of mind, meanwhile Craig's hostel offers everything you need to cook and spend a cosy time in the middle of the mountains (board games, windows looking at the mountains, ...).

Craig’s place was the best hostel I’ve ever been to! Very clean, cosy and welcoming! It was wonderful relaxing by the fire place. The bed was super comfy and everything was very peaceful in Field! Wonderful little piece of this world! Craig was super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend a stay ;)
