Harold has been an amazing host! Although this was advertised as a private room, it's really a mini studio. The place is cute and the matress is super comfortable. Harold received me super late in the evening, and was super kind and accomoddating. In the morning Maria prepared a wonderful breakfast. Harold even allowed me to stay until 6PM although check out was at 11. I hope I get the chance to stay in Harold's place again when I am back in Lima.

Everyone is very attentive in the house and is always willing to help. And they make us feel very comfortable. The house is clean, the room spacious and the breakfast very good. They are very close to the Catholic University PUCP and there are many bus options. Use the Moovit app and you'll get where you want to, if you don't want to ride just by Uber. You can also see how much it costs on the Uber app to go where you want and negotiate with taxi drivers on the street, which is always cheaper. Cell phone chip with internet has in Plaza de San Miguel, top floor and there is also Wong supermarket.

Happy llama is a great place to stay in Lima. Centrally located, you can easily get to Miraflores, the historic district of Lima, Callao, or anywhere else in the city. Harold, Maria and Walter are very welcoming, make delicious breakfasts, and will give you tips of places to see and things to do both in Lima and in Peru in general. Highly recommended place!

The Happy Llama is an incredible place. Extremely clean, comfortable rooms. My bed was extremely comfortable. The whole family was extremelykind and helpful. Harold had many recommendations of places to see, and how to get around. This was extremely helpful being that I speak very little Spanish, and it being my first time in Peru. Harold and his girlfriend Yulianna even sat down with me for a few hours one night to help me learn spanish. They are such kind, welcoming, and helpful people, and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was perfect. A distance from miraflores but close to the airport. The neighbourhood was a working class heros so if your on a tight budjet its a very afordable cheap place to stretch your dollar. So go for it and get to know the real people of peru, the working stiff. Have fun

Far the best express trip I've made to Lima! The boys' house makes you feel at home and is very beautiful. The location is very good (to take locomotions to Cercado and Miraflores, it is very close) and their disposition, impeccable, makes you feel like a friend. This apartment/ host combination is the best AirBnB I have ever experienced before!! Not only is this apartment in a safe, tranquil area of Lima, Peru, but there are so many places nearby to visit and partake in. Good bars and attractions are within walking distance and if you don't know where to go or what to see, Edgar is a very knowledgeable and accommodating host that will enable you (to the best of his ability) to have an awesome vacation!! Take a short walk down the street and eat at El Arca...it's the best!!

The space was very nice and clean. Safe place with 24/7 desk attendant and buzz in door. Only negative mark was the hot water didn’t last very long but quick showers aren’t that big of a deal. Overall great stay!

It's just a few minutes walk from the circuito mágico delas águas which is an experience I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Peru. It's also very close to many sites downtown! The location is very good and close to shops and restaurants. It's a quick taxi ride to Miraflores as well (traffic can be an issue). Great view from the apartment too. If we return to Lima, we will definitely stay here.

The apartment was fine for the 2 of us. We where the first to occupants. The kitchen is nice love the stove , oven and brand new Fridge. The Bed was a amazing. It’s close to a Metro grocery store and a lot of little Tientas. You definitely have to buy your drinking water. It has a nice little pool and roof top an the 21 floor. Our stay was to month but came for climate. Lima has wonderful climate no A/ C needed. The only think negative l found was the noise from the streets.

Perfect location! And Nathalie is really kind and helpful. I strongly recommend this house! Located in the heart of the old city, it is convenient to go everywhere. Although it is a self-check-in, it will teach you how to do it carefully with photos, so there is no problem. It is often said that the old town is dangerous, but it was okay to travel alone. I don't go out late at night, but basically. Since there is no elevator, the suitcase is painful, but the backpack is recommended by all means!

I can personally attest that if you're going to be stuck inside all day with food poisoning, this is a very comfortable place to do it! (Pro tip: Only order ceviche for lunch, not dinner) The space has everything you need and the air conditioner works very well. The water pressure was pretty week, but workable. Nathalie was wonderful! Super responsive and gave us lots of suggestions. The location is convenient, but a little sketchy. We were warned not to stray down any side streets, and we actually got pick-pocketed right out front by someone official-looking who helpfully gave us directions and then asked to take a selfie with us. Apparently that's a common distraction technique. Fortunately, all they got was a wad of napkins. So be smart about your valuables, but overall, it's a great option.

Had a quick stay at Nathalies Airbnb in Plaza San Martin and it was such a fantastic experience. Her apartment is in the absolute best location for a tourist and to get the living like a local feel. Nathalie made me a list of her favorite restaurants and even gave me a highlight most of things to do downtown so I could make the most of my quick stay. She even arranged for a private taxi driver Jorge to bring me back to the airport which was perfect considering the chaos around Lima airport. Her building has great security with the front gate and security cameras all over and her building and on her floor. She actually has 2 Airbnb’s on the 4th floor right across from each other ( I stayed in her apartment that faces the back of the building so less noise but her assistant Elliot brought me to the rooftop of her plaza facing apartment and I would totally recommend that one also ) Nathalies apartment itself was perfect. Loved everything about the apartment including the beautiful restored hardwood floors ). My biggest recommendation to anyone staying at Nathalies apartment is try and stay more than a day on a stopover to Machu or something. I truly felt like I was living like a Peruvian and Nathalie made the experience so much better than that. Nathalie wasn’t just a super host she was a super experience maker. My brother's flight was delayed and on top of that his credit card was compromised so I was so thankful that Monica allowed me to book this place for my brother through my account. He said the place was modest and quaint, just as he wanted. Family oriented neighborhood, so lots of kids playing in the streets at night, very safe and soothing with the commotion of the city. Communication with Monica was great and my brother enjoyed his last day in Peru with no headaches.

I had a great time at Monica's place. It's pretty central, with the bus or a taxi you're quick at sightseeings in the north and south and there's supermarkets, markets and a shopping center close by. The apartment is tidy, has a well equipped kitchen, and is perfect for one or two people. Monica was really helpful during my stay, had some good advice and was super uncomplicated when I adjusted my dates after booking. I would happily come back to stay here!

They give what they offer, very comfortable, the area seems unsafe at first but in reality it is quiet, only when I was a little noise from the street but I imagine it arrived at the time of parties, otherwise everything very well!

Safe and comfortable apartment on the 7th floor with elevators. Mercedes was always available by SMS and responded quickly. An excellent address, in the Lince district, less touristy than Miraflores and inexpensive restaurants around. Grocery store 350 meters away and bus on Av. Arequipa to go to Miraflores. Airport 30 minutes to 35 soles with Uber.

Mercedes is an excellent host checking in each day if we were okay and arranged transport us last minute to get there from the airport. She was very quick to remedy the broken wifi modem. Apartment matches pictures and description, perfect for a stopover. Very comfortable bed, great shower and good cooking facilities. Wifi was a little intermittent and quite slow at times but overall, good. We really enjoyed our stay here, nice and peaceful and felt very safe in the apartment with 24 hour security/door man.

I really enjoyed my stay at Jorge’s place. It has everything you need and is close to many areas of interest if you can work out the public transport. There are many buses/stops nearby. A rechargeable ticket (for bus) would have been useful. Probably not a problem if you’re S American, but from UK or Europe it would have been helpful.

Excellent apt with everything you need to have fun in a safe place and with everything nearby. The water circuit is 6 blocks away, the Aeronautical museum is one block away and there is plenty of transportation for the rest.

Chiaras's home is absolutely beautiful. The area is very close to the centro historica and has a mix of local atmosphere and tourist attractions. It is incredibly nice to be with Chiara and get to know her family. Breakfast is lovely and something I was really looking forward to. If I am in Lima another time I will definitely stay with Chiara again

Everything OK

Oscar's apartment is very modern and comfortable. You have to follow your explanations to get there by taxi, and it's not the best location to visit Lima or get around on foot, but for the rest, nothing to complain about! Comfortable, clean, and has everything you need for a peaceful stay.

Oscar's place is safe, large and brand new. Please note this is in (safe) gated residential area where all streets are blocked. There is security at the end of the street. While this is great, arriving at 3am it was a hassle, as the taxi drove around and around looking for the manned security gate. Oscar was very helpful in procing directions. We had no problem catching Ubers and eating at local resturants just outside the gates. If you need something large and close to the airport, this is a good choice.

The experience with Adriana and Eduardo was great! I needed your help several times and they always answered me quickly and in a very good way. They try to help you with everything at your fingertips and more. The apartment is modern and has the basics for short or long stays. For me the location is perfect, around it there are several shopping centers, markets, restaurants, clothing stores and others. It is next to a main avenue in the center of the city of Lima, you have buses only 20 minutes to Miraflores, 10 minutes to the historic center, the airport, etc. The area is very safe and the building too. I can only say that if you come to Lima and want a place with a super competitive price and very good location with good transport service, this is your place!

This accommodation is perfect

Everything was as described. Great value apartment in an ideal location with a great 11th floor view. On good days you can see the pacific ocean. The hosts are very quick to respond to any inquiry. Overall a great experience.

The accommodation is as described. Everything is excellent and corresponds exactly to the description. You feel right on arrival and well cared for. The accommodation is certainly due to the 24 hour presence of a porter at the entrance of the house. Adriana contacted us by phone when we arrived at the airport and received us directly at the apartment, leaving us with a particularly good impression. The apartment is very clean and ideal for two people. Nothing is missing. The check out was very uncomplicated. Since most flights depart in the evening to Germany, we were even allowed to stay until the departure time to the airport with our luggage in the apartment. That is not a matter of course. Many Thanks. We like to come back :-)

This Airbnb was great! There’s lots of space and a super nice kitchen. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were relatively spacious. Emma and Nestor were incredible hosts. We only stayed for a short overnight, but genuinely wish we were there longer. They both were fantastic hosts and I enjoyed texting them—they were so kind and thoughtful! The location is a short Uber ride from the airport, making it perfect for early morning flights or late night arrivals. Check in/out was easy. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Very centrally located in the old town between the Plaza de Armas, the congress building and the China Quarter. Highly recommended for travelers who are planning to stay a few days and who do not plan to stay in the apartment during the day, but to explore the beautiful old town and the interesting shops and cultural sights around it. Not suitable for people who are looking for relaxation, as it is sometimes very loud outside during the day and the volume that penetrates inside only dissolves from around 10.30 p.m. It is very quiet at night and the security guards in the congress building made us feel very safe. Up to the more modern barrios such as San Isidro, Miraflores, Barranco and Surco, it is between 30-45 minutes by car in the heavy traffic during the week. Uber is actually always available, quite cheap and costs between 16 and 20 soles (5-6 dollars) each way. On Sundays the streets are swept empty and the places mentioned can be reached in about half the time. The host Mirco and the staff around are super nice, give tips and are always available. The apartment offers everything you need. Further apartments on the large property (in the second row = more peace and quiet) are already being planned. Valuable tip: to get a phone chip, move towards Plaza de Armas (not towards the China Quarter) and consult a specialist shop in a pedestrian zone. Entel has proven to be a good provider.

Comfortable, clean and cozy apartment in the historic center of Lima (commercial area), for me it was ideal for commercial activities / shopping in central market, Chinese neighborhood. The entrance to the department at the beginning gives a little distrust, for being an old house and there is a leader in the whole block, but Mirco explains to you very much the movement that exists in that area, besides the department for being in front of the Congress of the Republic, All day there is police security. If that commercial movement does not bother you and you like to walk, you can do tourism in the entire historic center of Lima, you can reach the main square of Lima walking in about 10 min. Mirco is a friendly host and gives prompt answers. Thank you!

We enjoyed the view of the Congress building and the location of this Airbnb. We felt safe as there are 24/7 guards on duty right outside of the building. We slept with the windows open every night. Being up on the second story, you will find a lot of entertainment by looking out the window on the street below you. Don’t let the narrow stairway entrance give you the wrong impression. Mirco's place is wonderfully well located in relation to the historic city center of Lima. You are blocks away from the main square, and directly across the street from the Parliament building (literally out your front window). The space has tall ceilings, and the lofted bed looked really cool (although we did not climb still soar from have summited montanya machu picchu a couple days prior. It also helps that Mirco is an attentive communicator. That only added to our feeling welcome in Lima. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this house. You can not being bored thanks to tv which has lots of apps esp Netflix. Not only this one but also accessibility to Centeo is just perfect. You can get there in 30mins walk or 10-20min drive which depends on traffic. Don’t hesitate to book here!
