Originally this 1890's Edwardian house would have formed part of the historic furniture making industry's housing stock, now it has been remodeled to modern standards with updated facilities. Excellent location and open plan living makes it the 1st choice for our guests.

  • The flat is extremely comfortable and was spotlessly clean in every room. It was freezing cold outside when I stayed but the flat was amazing warm even with the heating turned down low. Perfect! The location is great only being a short, but hilly, stroll into town. I’d definitely stay again and happy to recommend the flat and great host to all Airbnbers.

Accommodation: Master bedroom with double bed and separate dressing area with wardrobe, mirror and seat. Bathroom with bath, large separate shower, sink unit and toilet. The kitchen is well equipped with quartz worktops and features built-in appliances including oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge freezer. A Nespresso machine is provided. The sitting room has a sofa and armchair with smart TV. The dining area has seating for two. All linen, crockery, cutlery pans etc are provided. The patio has a table and chairs for al fresco drinking and dining. The apartment is centrally heated with on-demand hot water and wifi is provided throughout.     Marlow is a vibrant town with many restaurants from Tom Kerridge's 2 Michelin starred Hand and Flowers and Atul Kocchar's SIndhu to more casual pizza places. The apartment is just a 2 minute walk from the High Street and the beautiful Thames and famous Marlow suspension bridge only a short stroll away. The beautiful Chilterns are a short drive and there is easy access to towns such as Henley and Windsor. Marlow has it's own railway station with London less than an hour away.

We also loved the proximity to the town, whilst still being tucked away in a green and quiet spot. If you fancy nipping into London, there is a station just round the corner. What’s not to like?

    Self contained ground floor apartment, with in a 3 min walk from the High Wycombe Train Station. Quiet area with off street parking for 1 car.
    High Wycombe is a charming old market town in amongst the chiltern hills. Which makes it a great place to walk or cycle with lots of great routes with lovely country pubs and cafe's to discover. The town centre has a Theatre (The Swan), University, Bowling alley, Cinema, lots of great coffee shops and even two micro brewery's, "The Mad Squirrel" and "Fishers" both worth a visit.

    Everything is situated on one level which is the ground floor. The house is located off the main road around the corner, which is perfect if you don't want to be disturbed by people visiting the shops. No Smoking is allowed in the hse. The studio has adjustable central heating & constant hot water, which can be controlled via a phone app or sending a text to maintenance who will turn the heating on at a requested time.
    The neighbours look out for each other, so generally there is a good feel about the neighbourhood.
  • This listing is exactly as described and I would recommend to anyone stopping over for work. The hosts are friendly and easy to communicate with. The bed is super comfortable with soft sheets. The kitchen has everything you would need to prepare basic meals and a fridge available to keep food fresh. I would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area.

  • This is a beautiful flat with a great location just a short walk from Windsor. The flat has two lovely bedrooms (one a bit bigger than the other with an en-suite) and a very good sized Lounge/kitchen. Two big sofas and plenty of space! Would highly recommend anyone staying here !

    Converted flat in a grade II listed country house in a secluded garden setting it is a ground floor flat. Walking distance to Harry Potter studio. Close to country walks along canal and woods. Parking is available off road, very close to M25 and M1 easy access to Luton airport 15/20 mins without traffic 10 mins drive into town or stations Watford Metro and Watford Junction 16 mins by train into London.
    A large shared garden with 300 yr old cedar trees and a vast lawn.
    Harry Potter studios are 10 min walk away, coffee places with in 10 mins walk. Its a quiet neighbourhood 10 mins walk to Cheslyn gardens a beautiful place to spend some time. Shops are just around the block about 5 mins walk with a choice of takeaways cafe and Indian restaurant. Walk to Grove hotel for something a bit special with stables coffee and bar or choice of other restaurants there. If you prefer a longer walk through woods to Chandlers Cross there is Prime restaurant or a longer walk to Croxley Green with a choice of pubs.

  • Gregor's apartment is very much in line with the description on the site and includes everything needed in terms of equipment. The subway station "west harrow" on the metropolitan line is just 5 minutes walk .. It reaches the center in about twenty minutes. The accommodation is very well located, the neighborhood is quiet, you can park quietly (and for free) in the street in front of the apartment. In addition Gregor is very friendly and very responsive. I really recommend!

    A recently refurbished warm, bright & comfy home situated right in the middle of Reading town centre. Reading station is just a 3 minute walk away, and the high street and the Oracle shopping centre is on your doorstep. Perfectly situated for many businesses in the area.
    We’ve done our best to create a home, rather than a house, to ensure you have a relaxed & comfortable stay. There is a nice lounge which has a 49" smart TV with Netflix included and lots of cushions and nice lighting to give a nice feel. We also have free Wifi. The bed has quality mattresses so that you can wake up feeling great after a good sleep, and there's a sofa bed for any extra guests. The kitchen is properly equipped so you have everything you need to cook. We also provide free tea and coffee!

  • Perfect little flat, super conveniently located, short quick walk to the train station or to the Oracle, with an M&S just across the street and a Sainsburys around the corner. Everything clean and new, everything you need, even an iron and an ironing board (which we failed to notice behind the living room door). Lovely to have teabags already there! The flat gets lots of light and you can look out over the rooftops. Having Netflix is a treat, and the living room/ kitchen is comfy and spacious. Walk up the stairs didn't bother us, and although street noise meant you couldn't really have the living room windows open at night on the weekend, the bedroom in the back was nice and quiet even with the balcony door open. Great place to stay.

    You are in the quiet part of Maidenhead town centre, close to all the amenities you could want including great restaurants. London is 25 minutes away by train, with Windsor, Legoland and Ascot a few of the great places to visit within very short distance.

  • This is our second stint here. We were only supposed to be here for a month or so and were then planning to move into a house due to the size (we are here whilst our house is under renovation). However, the place is soooo comfortable and deceptively large we ended up staying on for another month and we are about to extend again. As stated in my last review, the place is extremely well located, Tony (the host) is superb and the flat is full of great surprises. We've had a chance to explore the area more and there is so much to do - odds farm (great for children), Bray, Cookham & Holyport (lovely chilled out villages with some great pubs and restaurants), Marlow is not far and we have even done take away from there (Giggling Squid), Cliveden is my favourite national trust site, Windsor Castle, LEGOLAND, Beaconsfield is easy to get to via the back roads, Hughenden manor and hellfire caves are great (in West Wycombe) and so much more!! Overall, great location for everything in Maidenhead.....enjoy!

  • If you want to know how to run an Airbnb....consult Tony. He seriously leaves no stone unturned. The place is absolutely amazing with 2 very spacious bedrooms and loads of storage. Living and dining area is quirky and spacious. It is just so comfortable with everything at your doorstep. Bakedd literally downstairs is a hidden gem of a cafe and coppa club is also great. If you need to stay in this area, nothing will compare to this lovely flat....this place is full of surprises that I won't spoil for you. Loved it so much, that we extended our stay.

Lovingly restored, it retains its stunning original features whilst introducing modern luxuries to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The property is owned and professionally run by our interior design and build company which means we maintain it to a very high standard.
    Situated in the centre of historic Eton, this property is a five minute walk from the banks of the River Thames and the pedestrian bridge to the prestigious town of Windsor. The Studio oozes elegance. Designer interiors and finishes lend a luxurious feel to this high-ceilinged airy space. The Studio offers a king size bed with dressing table, a seating area with sofa and coffee table and an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen. Off the entrance hall is a shower room with floor to ceiling marble tiles and underfloor heating for the cooler months. Luxuries include waffle robes hanging in the wardrobe; high quality bed linen; bathroom essentials including shampoo and toothpaste; Nespresso machine; and free WiFi.
    Eton High Street is the secret jewel in the Crown of Windsor. Many tourists never cross the bridge which makes it just a five minute walk from Windsor's riverside. The High Street is lined with quaint antique shops and art galleries mixed with independent coffee shops and restaurants. Eton College itself is open to visitors and worth a look and of course just across the river is Windsor Castle and the famous Long Walk. Windsor offers great shopping, eating and drinking opportunities. Near the bridge there are boat trips for 40 minutes or two hours giving you a unique perspective on the two towns. The open top bus tour is a great way to see the area and even takes you out to the Royal Windsor Farm Shop where you can alight for lunch or a coffee. Windsor Racecourse is easily reached by car or boat and holds various race days and events during the year. In May the Windsor Horse Show brings lovers of the outdoors from all over the world to the town. In June the racing at Ascot steps up and we are perfectly placed as a base for visits to Ascot Week. In July Windsor hosts The Royal Horticultural Show in the grounds of Windsor Castle and at the other end of the year Christmas is a magical time in Eton and Windsor with stunning lights and decorations and various events including the brilliant pantomime at The Royal Windsor Theatre. The theatre is host to many touring plays and musicals and is really worth a visit and again is easily walkable from the property. Further afield is the infamous Cliveden Estate where you can enjoy the National Trust grounds and take afternoon tea in the hotel. And for foodies we have the town of Bray a 15 minute drive away hosting Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck and HindsHead restaurants as well as the Roux Family's Waterside Inn and Gian Carlo Caldesi's Caldesi en Campagna.

Having arrived just as the CV-19 crisis hit, I was reassured to find the apartment spotless, extra hand-wipes AND cleaning wipes, Budgens grocery 100 yards away well stocked, the delicious Golden Curry restaurant with take-out right next door (and a half-dozen other take-out options within a few minutes' walk), and lots of open air walks with few people right on the doorstep. Ana was a wonderful host -- always available for questions but not intrusive at all.

  • This is a great, ground floor flat in a superb location a few steps away from a lovely canal walk where we frequently saw a heron at close quarters. You can easily walk everywhere and leave the car outside the flat showing the permit provided. There is a playground for visiting grandchildren up the canal a little way; a Waitrose supermarket concealed from view on the other side of the canal; a mainline train station (with frequent trains to London) a hundred yards in the other direction; and a High Street with interesting shops including a good second-hand bookshop, cafes, restaurants and pubs/bars so near that you can leave your car at the flat with no worries about driving home.

    This apartment in a small housing and retail block in a quiet location. Chorleywood is a lovely quiet village with a very friendly local feel and yet incredibly well located for all the hustle and bustle of London. The apartment consists of a lower floor comprising the living space with a spacious eat in kitchen with a breakfast bar for 2 people and all the amenities you will need for cooking, and washing clothes while you are with us. We have tried to think of everything you will need including 4 slice toaster, microwave and sundry others (no ill equipped holiday let here)! The Sitting/Dining Room is a very spacious room with comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV and high Speed Wi-Fi access (unlimited during your stay). The Dining table has an extra leaf and can be easily adjusted for 4 or 6 people depending on your needs (6 chairs are provided) This is a gorgeous leafy part of the outskirts of London. You have the amazing Chorleywood Common just up the road (five minutes walk at most) which is a really special place to take a walk, relax in the sun and even enjoy a spot of golf on one of the countries only golf course on Common Land. Aside from that, the Chilterns all around are renowned walking destinations and there is Beaconsfield, Amersham, Kings Langley, Berkamsted and many other lovely little towns to visit in this area. The Royal Standard at Knotty Green is fondly famed as being the oldest Pub in England and proudly boasts the patronage of Henry VIII and several of his wives as some of their esteemed guests over the years. The whole area is steeped in history with Moor Park Golf Club, Rickmansworth and Denham Golf Clubs all a short drive away. Aside from the local attractions, of course you have the whole of London at your finger tips as well. We are between junction 17 and 18 of the M25 so getting around is easy as we are well served for all the major roadways too as well as the trains of the Metropolitan and Chiltern Lines. It is also a 10 minute drive by car or taxi to Harry Potter World in Leavesden, Watford. Just a few steps from the property you will find a large supply of great Cafes, Bakeries, Sandwich shops, a Treatz Ice-cream parlour, Costa Coffee and a local supermarket for all your needs. There are lots of other little shops, the bookshop just below is a particular treat, often with book-signings by major celebrities! If you love the idea of a quaint little town, very close to the bustle of London, this is the place for you!
    This area has a fantastic selection of cafes, bakeries and sandwich outlets for wonderful Lunches/brunches, tea or whatever takes your fancy. You will be spoilt for choice! Also great for walks on the common and everything you need is here if you are not inclined to get on a train for a long day in London. It is a great friendly village with lots to offer everyone!

The apartment has everything you need in it, comfortable bed and a lovely touch having the eggs, bread, milk and butter for when we arrived. Caroline was very helpful in answering any questions and making sure we were going to have a good stay. Parking in the area is a bit tricky but we found the station had long term parking and in close walking distance. Check in and out was easy. All the information we needed was in a manual in the apartment. Highly recommend staying in Caroline’s apartment.

  • Caroline is an excellent host and prompt in her communication. I was travelling on a business visit with two other colleagues. She had made sure she gave all instructions well documented and that really helped us to locate the property and other minute detailed instructions about the heater, washer etc were really helpful. Caroline had also kept a welcome kit of eggs, bread, milk etc and that was helpful after a tiring journey. Very thoughtful on her part. The place is very well designed and excellent utilisation of space. Made us feel at home and it is a very warm and positive place. Few restaurants, bakery and grocers are bang opposite the property. It has a good shower and a very comfortable bed, together with a number of books which appealed to me, even though I only had time to read one of them. It's an easy five minute walk to either the centre of St.Albans or to the station, and, while some people might regard the check-in arrangements as a bit cumbersome (you have to collect the key from a key box at a local estate agent), they weren't a problem for me. I'm a fairly regular visitor to St.Albans and I'd like to stay here again in the future.
