“This is a wonderful place to go on Sunday! You just walk out of the front door and turn left. There is usually music and food and fun, as well as flowers... if you go into the market and turn left down a side street around half way through the market, you'll find a tiny square usually with musicians - and there are a couple of lovely restaurants and fun shops there too. ”

Market
“(This is not the right photo) One of London's most famous markets. It's massive & you can also walk along Regent's Canal. It gets very packed with tourists on the weekend, especially in summer.”

Shopping Plaza
“Loads of boutique shops, market stalls, bars cafes and restaurants, a short walk from Charing Cross station. Often many street entertainers. Jo particularly likes the jewellery at Les Nereides. If we want to indulge ourselves with coffee and a macaron, head over to Laduree. Ask for a table outside, and you can watch the street entertainers in the square.”

“Another good place to explore, great little shops and restaurants. Highly recommend Honest Burgers! Take a bus from Clapham Junction or take the 344 Bus from the flat to Vauhall and then 2 stops on the Tube.”

“A 15 minutes bus-ride away, one of the coolest areas of London. From cultural icons like the Tate Modern, National Theatre, Royal Festival Hall and the BFI through street performers, food markets, the used book market under the bridge in front of the BFI and all the way to tourist points like the London Eye, Aquarium, and Westminster houses of parliament. Keep walking and you're in the West End or Covent Garden... (Ok, if you want to get to those to begin with, the tube will take you there more quickly).”

Shopping Mall
“What can I say about shopping - this is London. OK - one recommendation. If you want to do all your shopping under one roof, there's a fabulous mall in Shepherd's Bush called Westfield. It has everything you could possibly want, and many for a drink places too. Shepherd's bush station is on the Central Line, only 5 stops fro Ealing Broadway.”
