“If the weather is nice and you can find a seat outside on the balcony, the view is hard to beat. They have great food but the draw is sitting outside on the patio and enjoying a view of the river.”

“Occoquan store has fresh pies and amazing baked goods. Using locally grown fruit people travel from near and far to have a taste! They also have a great selection of wines and beer. Wine, beer, groceries, coffees, candies, fishing bait. Mom's Apple Pie Company was featured in Southern Living's The South's Best Pies, as well as in Country Living Magazine. Milk and groceries if your in a bind.”

Tea Room

“I love this very cute tea café where woman and girls could congregate. Some costumes are available at the front and you can pretend that you are invited by the Queen of England. When you order a tea set, it comes with some finger food which fills you up as lunch. It only open on weekends and reservation is recommended. Saturday: 11:00 am- 4:00 pm; Sunday: 12:30 pm -4:00 pm”

“A quaint Belgium Bistro located in an ally of old town Occoquan known for their mussels and extensive beer menu. Limited inside seating, but has a beautiful shaded patio with heaters which most patrons prefer. Tip: Service can be slow, so don't go if you are on a tight schedule.”
