“Great authentic New Mexican food. Started off as a popular eatery in a dark corner of a bowling alley. Now has several locations that are much more upscale but have retained the original great value and tasted of New Mexico. I highly recommend the chicken enchiladas, flat with a "christmas" sauce ( mix of green and red chile). Unless you are sharing a dish or have an enormous appetite, get the small portions!”

“Los Poblanos is a Lavender farm/Inn that has a delicious restaurant that is all local and handmade food. The property has a beautiful view of the mountain, an outdoor patio, a pond, a rose garden, and quails and alpaca that roam the property. My favorite way to visit Los Poblanos is to make reservations for just after sunset so I can arrive early, walk around a bit and enjoy a drink while watching the sun set on the mountains. ”

“This quaint cafe is located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Albuquerque. Around here you will find old farms, charming homes with lots of land, and a beautiful nature center that is perfect for walking:-). The cafe itself sells delicious desserts (I love the pies here) and the coffee is pretty good:-). And if you like bookstores, there’s an awesome bookstore right next to the cafe. I highly recommend this place to families and solo travelers alike:-). ”
