  • Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for valentine's weekend. The cabin was beautiful with lots of personal touches to help make us feel at home. When we arrived the host even provided us with a little bag of food for breakfast and a rose, which was very sweet we thought. The cabin is right next to a lovely beach view and about a 10 minute walk to the main street with many pubs and restaurants to choose from. Highly recommend.

  • A beautiful space and a stone's throw from the Rush beach! We arrived on a dark evening to find the place pre-heated, well stocked and even though the cottage is it out of the way it was very easy to find with Katy's directions. Such a cozy and relaxing place to spend a few days unwinding (or in my case studying) and listening to the sound of the waves. Provided you travel here by car, I would highly recommened any time of the year!

  • We had an idyllic restful weekend by the sea, the cottage was perfectly sized and beautifully furnished, we were extremely comfortable. Great seaside walks on the doorstep.

  • Cute , cozy cottage close to Dublin in a quaint seaside town. Highly recommended.

  • Katy cottage was gorgeous. Located in a beautiful setting, perfect for a little, quiet get away. She shared such a detailed information on how to get to the cottage that we had no problem at all finding the place. She was also so good and fast with communication. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a quiet time away to a beautiful beach cottage.

  • The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need. The host and her husband are wonderful and extremely helpful. The views the beach quick access to public transportation and the restaurants and shops in the village are great. We highly recommend it 5 star

    Daphne2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We were delighted with our stay in the cabin. It was immaculately clean with everything you could need and loads of thoughtful touches too. The location was great, with stunning views of the sea and Howth just a 20 minute walk along the beach (at low tide!). Toni was so welcoming and provided loads of helpful tips - and her homemade bread was delicious!

    Nina2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Toni, you have made our trip to Ireland one of the most memorable. Thank you so much for you hospitality, friendliness, and kindness. Not many hosts will offer suggestions of what can be done in town, nor will any other host actually offer to drive you to her/his favorite spots. THE BEST EXPERIENCE. The Cabin is by far our favorite Airbnb. It is definitely a gem and the view was amazing. We really appreciate the breakfast fixings and the delicious brown bread! Definitely recommending The Cabin to anyone taking a trip to Howth/Dublin.

    Victoria2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was amazing. It is literally right by the water. It is very cosy. Toni even provided homemade bread and jam for breakfast as well as water orange juice and some beers. It was very thoughtful. She checked in with us frequently over airbnb and even gave us tips about traffic getting there from dublin. Overall highly recommend this place!!

    Peter2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved this place. Fantastic accommodation and great hosts. If you’ve never been to Howth, go. Brilliant harbour town and only a 10 minute walk down the beach from the cabin. The compact cabin has all you need and with the host leaving us bread, drinks and cereal for breakfast it’s more like bed and breakfast! Fish lovers paradise in Howth. Excellent restaurants and great bars to suit all tastes. Easy to get around , everything accessible by foot and transport nice and easy. Will definitely return. If returning to Dublin airport I would advise booking taxi well in advance. Uber poor around Howth. Buses all good to airport also cheap but will take longer. €35 euro paid on metered cab on way there from airport. Make sure you take a walk up the hill towards the old Abbey. Some great bars/restaurants up there off the main track. Lots of traditional live music. Go and enjoy.

    Ursula2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great trip to Howth. The cabin is a beautiful and peaceful place. We loved hiking the cliffs and exploring for the day and being able to return to enjoy fresh seafood at the restaurants on the pier. Toni is so responsive and kind!

  • Great place for travelers(very safe), and close to the bus stop and to the train. About 20 min to city centre with train and 35 min with bus. The loft was sparkling clean and well equipped. The hosts are wonderful people and love to recommend some local places. Would definitely recommend this stay. Just outside the city enough to get away from the buzz but more than close enough to go to the city and other towns daily. Pogo the dog was also a favorite, makes the stay feel like home. Thanks for making our trip to Dublin an amazing experience !

    Theo2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • Close to the train station into the city center. Clean and spacious!

    Melissa2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Klaudia’s place was cozy, spacious, and sparkling clean. We didn’t get a chance to meet Klaudia, but her daughter was very welcoming. Klaudia was very friendly when we communicated with her through messages and made sure our stay was great. Their dog Pogo was a very friendly addition! The train station was only a few minutes walking distance, and getting into the city center was very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Best place we have stayed in for a long time! It is compact but for the two of us, more than big enough for a weekend’s stay. The thoughtful touches made our stay in Dublin so much easier. When you are flying in, to have some food such as bread, eggs and milk as well as shampoo/conditioner, even foil for packed lunches, makes the world of difference. Very clean and nice decor too. Thanks Donna.

    Martin2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • For a stay in Dublin (especially for a convenient, travel-friendly brief stay), this flat was perfect. I’ve stayed here twice and each time has been absolutely pleasant; first time was me and a friend and second was me and my sister, so the flat was good for two people to stay in: Quiet, bright neighborhood and a short walk to groceries, coffee, etc. The room is very comfortable, nice privacy, and Donna is a friendly, helpful, and professional host. Easy check in and check out. 100% recommend, especially if seeking a place to stay close to the airport. A fairly cheap, 10/15 minute taxi ride and you’re there. Seamless and enjoyable. Not difficult or too expensive to get a taxi to the city center to spend the day out and about. Thanks for everything!!!

    Cristina2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Donna's places is one of the cleanest and stylish places if stayed in for a while. Its comfortable warm and has everything you need. If you see this place for your dates you need your very lucky.. stayed a couple times now and would love to stay again.. thanks again..

Check in was very easy and clear. The room was very clean and I loved the little bedside breakfast tray and drinks. Their pamphlet was also very insightful about public transportation and getting around town.

  • We had a good stay at Sandy’s place ! and a last irish Guiness at the pub close to the place by foot. 🙂 The location of the house was convenient for being early at the airport (we left at 7.00 am, apparently before the morning traffic jam). The room is effectively cosy !

    Elise2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a beautiful house close to the coast and it’s easy enough to get to Dublin by taking the Dart. Sandy is excellent! Very helpful and kind, quick to respond! She even called a taxi for us to help us get to the airport on time for our flight. I would certainly stay here again. The only note I have is that the ceiling is very low, but that shouldn’t be a reason not to stay here.

  • Rosheen has a pleasant place to spend a few days and visit Dublin, it is close to the train and it is very comfortable to reach the city. He attended us at all times very kindly and left us breakfast ready although we left the last day very very early. The people of the area are very friendly. It is very nice to walk through those streets. We had a great time

  • This is a lovely family of 6 in a cute house very close to Malahide City Center. Everything was perfect and just soooo friendly! We were picked up at the airport and the welcome was so warm and made us feel home right away. Sleeping was great, since it is a very quiet neighborhood. The beds are extremely comfy with many pillows, huge duvet and good mattresses. In the house, you’d never think there are children... they are very quiet and considerate. Bathroom was very neat and clean and we as guests had our own! The livingroom is there for the guest‘s breakfast and that was lovely because there was a huge Christmas tree in it and a comfy fireplace. Everything is very cute with many thoughtful details. We could make our own breakfast whenever we wanted to but Roisín provided us with everything we needed (and more) for it. We REALLY enjoyed our stay, say a BIG THANK YOU and a HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all of the family, and can only recommend this place! WE will most definitely come back!

  • Rosheen and her family welcomed us with the brightest smiles. Easy to communicate with and received quick responses from Rosheen. It was a wonderful and comfortable stay at Malahide. Tesco and transport located nearby to the airbnb. Good restaurants and bars available in walking distances. Loved the sweet breakfasts that Rosheen set up for us every morning. It is a safe location as well. Overall had a very good experience staying with Rosheen. Thank you.

Beautiful, comfortable south facing double room. Available for two people with en suite shower and wash basin. PETS NOT ALLOWED WE CAN'T CHANGE THE SETTINGS. We do have a friendly Irish Red Setter who lives outside.
Our home is situated on a hill and has views of the ocean from the attic sitting room. Malahides lovely beach is only a 5 minute walk away--and the picturesque village shops, castle, pubs, bus and train stations are a quick 10-15 minute walk from the house. Malahide is a very social seaside village with vibrant shops, busy pubs, live music, a large variety of dining options, and quiet cafes.
Seapark is a quiet family neighborhood just off the main coastal road.
  • A perfect location to explore the beautiful area of Malahide. The home is only a 20 minute walk from Malahide station and many buses are available just a few minutes away. We had the king room which has a small ensuite and a beautiful view toward the sea. The tea and toast for breakfast was an extra touch we did not expect.

  • I was looking for a place to stay where I could experience a day in the life of a local. In Shay’s beautiful space located near a lovely castle and village I was able to make this dream a reality. There are many delightful places to eat in the village including a vegan place at Fowler’s bar. If I have the chance to return I may be requesting Shay’s place again 👍

With a quirky little staircase to the upstairs bedroom, this place was perfect for a private little getaway in a beautiful town. It was clean, private and even hosted it's own Netflix account! A bit tricky to find in the dark, but the directions given by the host are spot on when followed. Home was perfectly clean with nice amenities- shower, hair dryer, tea and coffee... I wish I could extend my stay here another few days! Host was very responsive to messages and inquiries which is appreciated when traveling in an unfamiliar country. • Angela was one of the best hosts I’ve ever used. She was great about explaining how everything worked (since I’m not from Europe many things weren’t common knowledge to me). This was my first international trip alone and she made things so seem less! She was very quick to respond and was extremely accommodating. I couldn’t rate her or her flat high enough!

  • I spent a lovely long weekend here and found it to be a wonderful accommodation. Great location in the heart of Malahide, walking distance to more cafes and pubs than I had time to sample, plenty of shopping, and most importantly (for me!) to Malahide harbor and Dublin Bay. Plenty of options for scenic outdoor walks, and it’s also very close to the DART station, to get into the city centre. Definitely recommend this for a couple or a solo traveler.

  • Elaine’s house was perfect for my short term travel. The house and room were sparkling clean and this room i stayed had two windows, so the sun came in well- which was my favorite part of this room. To get to City, there’s a bus that goes to the center 3minutes in front of the house. I chose this town just for the concert visit but i ended up liking this place much more than the city. Malahide was beautiful.

We also have Howth close by a beautiful village by the sea with loads to see and do there...you can get to Howth by the dart which is a 20minute walk away.
  • Really clean place with very nice amenities

  • I have mainly chosen Ciara’s place because it was walking distance to a place where I attended a training. The studio is well equipped and functional and was also very calm. Ciara was very easy to communicate with and helped me out when needed with a big smile. Excellent host. Thank you 🙏🏼.

  • Ciara is an amazing host, ready to help with anything. The studio has a nice space, it is easy to find with her instructions, close to the bus stop and to the supermarket

    Beatriz2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect. Value for money very good. It is very close to the airport and there is a bus from the Hilton hotel that takes you and brings you for € 3, so you can take an excursion to Belfast by taking the buses from the airport and you will save a lot of time. It is also a little far from the center a little far from the center but there is a bus every 10 'and in 30' it leaves you in the center. In addition the buses are of two heights and if you get up in the front row you have panoramic views that do not make your way long.

    Ignacio2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Thank You for your advice, giving us space and the really thoughtful touch of bringing out an extra heater whilst replacing the radiator. Your property is situated in a really lovely estate that isn’t far commute to the bustling busy city centre. We can’t thank you enough. Once we had got our head round the bus service ( a little tip have exact change they don’t accept notes on the bus). Everything was just easy. The studio is perfect for a weekend visitor to the beautiful city. The check in process very simple and works well for all parties. Communicating with Ciara was brilliant a simple WhatsApp and a really swift response. We will definitely be back when visiting Ireland. Thanks again :)

  • Ciara was a very friendly and caring host. The accommodation has a separate entrance which is nice, but it's small and not that modern anymore. Especially the bathroom would need a makeover. It takes you about 40 minutes by bus to Dublin citycentre. There are supermarkets near by which was great. The airport is 10 minutes away by car, or you take the bus shuttle for 5€ and reach it in about 15 minutes. All in all everything was fine.

    Sina2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to stay with easy access to Dublin in bus. There is everything you need in the house and it is very calm! I recommend it :) Thank you!

"Thank you so much - we have had a wonderful time and we are really going to look back on this fantastic experience with fond memories. The apartment has been perfect for us, and you really do have a gem of a place in a gem of a location"
Beautifully and conveniently situated, comfortable, ground floor apartment with sunny, south-facing patio and sea view, in the centre of the picturesque seaside village of Malahide. Located on the Marina with its own independent entrance, adjacent to all amenities incl. supermarket, shops, fabulous restaurants, pubs, golf (public and private courses), tennis (public tennis courts in the Castle park), cricket club, fantastic coastal walks, beaches, sailing, wind surfing, canoeing and magnificent Malahide Castle park and playground. The large green directly in front of the patio provides a great play area for children, naturally under your supervision. A picnic table on the patio ensures eating al fresco on warm sunny days adds to your holiday atmosphere. The sea is an important feature in Malahide's popularity and has had a big impact with tourism in the town. The coastal walks and Velvet Strand stretch as far as the eye can see and are popular all year round with swimmers and for water sports such as sailing, wind surfing and canoeing. The landscape and activities available make Malahide a favourite destination for visiting boats from Ireland and overseas. There is a market on Saturdays, and the best restaurants and pubs are found here. Our clients love it as you have all the convenience of the City at hand but without the noise, hustle and bustle. At the end of a day's sightseeing you can come home to a tranquil, relaxing and warm environment and enjoy excellent food at one of Malahide's great restaurants or if you prefer, get a takeaway or a delicious home-made delicatessen meal.Or just walk across the road to one of the pubs and enjoy some brilliant pub food and music sessions (Monday nights at the Island View Hotel are particularly good for traditional Irish music enthusiasts). We offer a welcoming home away from home and are here to help you get to know our wonderful area with all its great seaside and parkland walks, exciting choice of food and wonderful sporting facilities. Our apartment is ideal for holidays, business stays or temporary relocation due to renovations etc. What our clients say: "I just wanted to write a quick e-mail to say thank you so much for the rent of the apartment for our stay in Malahide. We have had a wonderful time and we are really going to look back on this fantastic experience with fond memories. The apartment has been perfect for us, and you really do have a gem of a place in a gem of a location!" . Fully equipped, including free WiFi Internet, cable TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Large living/kitchen area, 1 double (or twin), 1 single bedroom and 1 bathroom. Double sofa bed in lounge. Sleeps 4/5. TRANSPORT: Public transport: The train station and bus stop are 5 mins walk from the apartment providing easy access to Dublin City Centre (by train 20 mins, or bus n. 32 or 42) and Dublin Airport (bus n. 102). If getting the n.102 bus from the airport ask the driver to let you off at Malahide Church bus stop. Private transport: We are close to Dublin Airport where car hire or taxis are available (10-15 mins). Easy access from motorways M1 and M50. Taxis are also readily available in our village. FREE off-road parking space is provided in the courtyard. Bed linen, towels and all utility bills included in price. Private entrance and parking in courtyard. Travel cot, high chair and baby bath available. Max. 6 months letting.
MALAHIDE CASTLE Located within walking distance is the wonderful historic Malahide Castle which is surrounded by acres of parkland, sports facilities and a large children's playground, which consists of various types of swings, slides, climbing frames and imaginative contraptions to suit children of all ages. The playground is tree lined and also contains picnic tables and benches for use by families and visitors. The Castle Demesne features a 9 hole par 3 Golf Course, an 18 hole Pitch & Putt Course, tennis courts and basket ball courts. There are playing fields for soccer, rugby and gaelic football, plus a cricket ground. There are also exercise trails and a boules area. This is an 800 year old castle dating from 1185 which was home to the Talbot family and is older than Bunratty Castle in Clare and similar in age to Kilkenny castle. Established for over 35 years as a visitor attraction, the Castle comprises 250 acres of parkland and gardens. The Talbot Gardens were created by Lord Milo Talbot after 1948, and display almost 5,000 species, including a fine collection of Australasian and Chilean plants. The most important plant collection of its type in the British Isles after Kew Gardens in London The Castle is furnished with antiques from the era and an extensive collection of Irish portrait paintings, mainly from the National Gallery of Ireland MALAHIDE BEACH AND COASTAL WALK A beautiful scenic beach within walking distance and a longer invigorating 2 mile walk along the coast, with views over the sea and out to the islands, Ireland’s Eye and Lambay. Along the way you’ll see pebble beaches and rock pools where fascinating shells and sea creatures can be found. A favourite walk with locals! There is also another small playground along this route. Malahide has an abundance of cafes, restaurants and pubs - I recommend Food Fayre on the Coast road or Seomra Tae in the centre of the village or Avoca Café beside the Castle where you can also buy some delicious take home meals. VELVET STRAND Portmarnock can truly boast of its beautiful blue flag 2mile/3km long Velvet strand and well-known championship links golf courses. Locals travel for miles to visit this wonderful amenity. Views of Dublin Bay and Lambay Island are stunning from the beach where there’s also a sculpture to commemorate the Australian aviator Charles Kingsford Smith's departure from the beach to cross the Atlantic in his aircraft, the Southern Cross. Baldoyle Bay extends from Howth’s West Pier to just below Portmarnock village and is of high conservation importance. The inner estuarine section is a Statutory Nature Reserve and is designated as a wetland of international importance. Two rivers run into the estuary one of which is the Sluice River. The Sluice River Marsh is a relatively intact freshwater marsh, a habitat that is now rare in Dublin. Home to many birds, ducks and visiting wild Brent geese in the winter months, as well as some resident swans. OTHER ACTIVITIES There are so many activities in the area including many top golf courses, horse riding, water sports, soccer, tennis etc it would be difficult to list them all. Just ask me if you have a particular interest.
  • Excellent location. Excellent host.

    Lynne2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the fabulous Malahide Marina home hosted by Sheelagh was a welcome respite from the hurly burly of Dublin. Not only was the space just right for two it would easily hold 3 more. The kitchen had what we needed to do simple meal prep, and the shower was fantastic. All of that pales however when I think of the excellent location in Malahide. We could easily walk to the train station and using our LEAP Card, purchased in a machine at the train station, get into Dublin in about 20 minutes. We also used our LEAP card to ride local buses. This listing has what you need, including a hair dryer, washer/dryer combo, comfortable beds AND the sea/marina to your left of the front door when facing The Green. To the right of The Green is Tesco Express and Starbucks. Up on the next corner is Mario’s Pizza, where we shared a pizza. On another day we stopped into Gibney’s, a pub, where we had excellent fish and chips. On our last day we found That’s Amore on Townyard Lane where we had a delicious and reasonably priced lunch. We enjoyed our excellent and informative visit to Malahide Castle and the Gardens. To see the Castle one must take the guided tour which provides the history of the castle and the Talbots who owned the castle for hundreds of years until fairly recently. This ticket includes the gardens and the Butterfly House. Do like we did and take a picnic lunch and enjoy whilst sitting on a bench in the Garden. We continued, after our lunch, exploring all the remaining garden areas. After we rewarded ourselves with tea and delicious cake in the Avoca Cafe which is in the Visitor’s Center. Quite by accident we learned about Toots, a Tram/Train one can get at the Malahide train station and ride right up to the Castle’s Visitor’s Center as well as return to the train station or other stops in Malahide. This was much easier than the long walk from the bus stop to the Castle. Sheelagh’s place represents the best of both worlds in my opinion—access to exciting Dublin and a quiet, restful place to unwind after Dublin or to just relax on a day off from the city. Thank you Sheelagh!

  • Great place in the heart of Malahide village. Fully equipped kitchen was perfect for self catering although there are so many restaurants in Malahide to choose from that you may not want to cook

    Greg And Laura2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sheelagh's place is a wonderful spot for relaxing and unwinding. We stayed for a week and fell in love with the area - Malahide has everything you'd want and then some. We loved the location of the apartment with a small park right out front, and groceries, coffee, and a pub mere steps away. The train station is a 4 block walk, and on the way there you'll pass multiple restaurants, pharmacies, and a cab rental. Everything is so easy and convenient to get to that it really is the perfect location for a getaway. The apartment is bright and airy, and we loved the extra room and amenities like a washing machine and dinning room table. One thing of note: the apartment has a shower and no tub. While this wasn't an issue for us at all, it might be something to consider if you're traveling with small children. We loved Sheelagh's place, and will hopefully be back to visit!

Enjoy the award winning restaurants and pubs to suit every taste, or stroll around the cobblestone streets enjoying the incredible fashion boutiques. The crowning feature of Malahide is its location. • Orla & Gary were wonderful hosts with a very stylish and lovely place, it felt like a home from home! Anything we needed they were right there via text, phone call or even just a knock on the door! In a perfect location too with beautiful scenery a 5 minute walk down the road. It’s located 2 min walk from the train station about 15-20 mins to central Dublin (temple bar etc) and has some great pubs and cafes in short walking distance. Malahide itself is beautiful. Gary and Orla were fantastic hosts, quick responses and went to extra lengths to help us with our stay. Would highly recommend staying here.

    Patrick2019-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Orla and Gary's place for a little over 7 weeks and the stay couldn't have been any better. It felt like home. Hosts: Orla and Gary are the perfect hosts. Very responsive and hospitable. They live in the apartment just below but were very respecting of our privacy. They took care of a few minor requests we had, quickly and without fuss. Apartment: It's a very cosy and comfortable two bedroom apartment with all amenities and tasteful touches (like a reading chair next to the window). Location: Very well located too. Train station and bus stops just across the road. Not too difficult to find parking, all kinds of shops, restaurants and other facilities withing walking distance.

They had helpful suggestions and hints for our time in Malahide Village and Castle, and we appreciated that they could hold our luggage until checkin time since we arrived early. We had just completed a 2-week tour and so spent most of our time resting or sleeping when we were at the house and the space served our needs well.

  • Castle Lodge B&B in Malahide, Ireland is a gem. Eithne and Jerry are wonderful hosts - they welcome you into their home and lives not only as friends, but you feel as if you are part of their family. They are a lovely couple - - such a sense of humor also!! Our rooms were spotless and so cozy. The food is delicious - you must try the full Irish Breakfast! The singing and whistling from the kitchen are an added bonus. :) The location is just right - just out of the busyness of town, but just right for a short walk to town for shopping, eats, pubs and music, and of course, the train if you want to head to Dublin or another village close by to explore. Don't be shy - just ask for a recommendation for a great pub to sit and watch the game while enjoying a pint, or to take in the wonderful musicians and singers that will entertain you! (hint - Gibney's and Fowlers are 2 you must try ... thank you for the recommendations Eithne and Jerry!) In America, we commonly say 'amazing' and 'awesome'; but in Ireland, we hear 'brilliant' so often. This is what comes to mind when thinking about Eithne and Jerry and Castle Lodge B&B ... • We had a great time staying at Thomas place :) The room was small but very cozy and we met other travellers to talk to. Thomas is a friendly and kind host, he answered all our questions and was always there to help. The two dogs are super cute, though they might try to steal your food ;)

    Jule2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Thomas is really a very nice person, very welcoming, available and very friendly. In addition, he has two absolutely adorable dogs. I would come back without any problem

  • Very friendly, affable host, all amenities provided, very clean and 2 lovely pets for company. Don't miss! :)

    Vinod2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Thomas was a GREAT host and really went above and beyond! He had great communication and was close to the airport. He let me drop off my bags early, and I showed up with wet clothes from washing them the night before, and he dried, folded and put them in my room for me! In the morning I was having trouble getting a cab, so he tried to call one for me, but there were none available, so he personally gave me a lift to the post office to lighten my load for my trip home!! Stand up guy with quick responses and will do what he can to make your trip as easy as possible. Would definitely stay again!!

    Ryan2019-09-23T00:00:00Z

My home is small but is a very welcoming and comfortable house which is open to people from all walks of life. There are 3 bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. The kitchen/dining room, sitting room/TV room, a second bathroom/laundry room are on the ground floor. It is very close to all local amenities, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and cinema's. The area is quiet and easy going itself and the city is easily accessible by train and buses.
Visitors to my home will be welcome to use most facilities. My kitchen has a spacious dining area with most modern appliances such as dishwasher, cooker, microwave air frier, toaster etc., There's a separate laundry room with separate washing machine and drier. This room also houses the downstairs toilet and jacuzzi bathroom.
The neighbourhood is quiet and easy going with access to many amenities.
  • I've stayed at Frances' place for a few days. She was very kind and considerate during the booking phase allowing me to check-in a bit late at night and using their kitchen table during the day to get some work done. I've been welcomed by her husband Dave, who shows me my room and all the house facilities. During my stay, they took very good care of me being helpful and communicative. The house and the room were perfect, very well furnished and sparkling clean. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and fast. The house is located in a residential area 5 mins walk far from Raheny dart station, from which it is possible to get to Dublin city center in about 20 mins. Really highly suggested, especially if you need a quiet and homely environment but well connected and close enough to the city. Thanks, Frances and Dave!

  • Host is very kind and careful.

  • This offering consists of a tiny bedroom in a single-family row house in a quiet subdivision about six train stops from downtown Dublin. The couple who live there are friendly and helpful. The room was clean, as was the shared bathroom. I was traveling alone in February 2020 and it met all of my needs. I gladly would stay there again.

    Joseph2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • It was a pleasure to stay with Frances. They are lovely people and great hosts, also they were very flexible with the Checkin! The room is very cosy and with the bus or the Dart it took us only about 15-20 min to town. We highly recommend this place!

    Elena2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for hosting me Frances.

    Chloé2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay - really warm welcome!

    Jonathan2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The week I spent in Frances' house was wonderful. Her house is in a residential suburb 7 km outside of Dublin center, and you can get there by bus no. 29a or by the DART train. Both are quite crowded during rush hour. The benefit of Frances' house is that it's really quiet (no traffic outside, not even people on the street) and you live there almost like a family member with Frances, her husband Dave and a cute little dog. Frances is very caring about your well-being, just like your own mother or grandmother would be ;-)

    Steffen2020-01-16T00:00:00Z

This spacious 1 bedroom apartment is perfect for an extended visit to Dublin City. We can easily sleep 4 people here.
You will have full access to the whole apartment. There is 1 bedroom, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining large dining and sitting room. The apartment is yours for the duration of your stay , so you can get as comfortable as you like. Make yourself feel right at home. This modern apartment has everything you need, its been recently renovated, it still has that new apartment smell. You probably can imagine what I'm talking about.
The north side of the city is a fabulous part of Dublin. It is one of the busier parts of the city. Hundreds of local pubs, many infamous around the locality and plenty of historic drinking spot for many famous people throughout the countries long history. The food around my area is pretty good also, depending on where you go, I can recommend hundreds of good places near my apartment. If you are into traditional Irish food , there is a classic Irish take away beside practically every pub. Make sure you ask for extra salt and vinegar on your chips. The chippers usually do a great battered sausage and chips. This apartment is right in the heart of Dublin, the neighbourhood is busy but it is beautiful place to chill out, have a few drinks and enjoy the amazing Irish weather that we don't have everyday.
  • This airbnb was a great place to stay. Convinicence stores and buses that take you directly to the city centre were nearby.

  • Erin is a great and friendly host. She answers very quickly and has a folder with lots of information in her cozy apartments. We liked the cozy bed the best. We slept very well. The check in and out was totally easy. The apartment is clean and cozy. Equipped with everything you need. The arrival and departure by bus is cheap but not very quick. I can not judge taxi.

  • Erin’s place was exactly what we needed while we visited Dublin! Amazing value for what was provided, the space was so much bigger than I expected. It is located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood with a short walking distance to Clongriffin station. We took the DART to get to and from the downtown core, so convenient! Would absolutely book Erin’s place again next time I’m in Dublin
