“Approximately 31km from JaynEm's, Mapleton National Park offers spectacular views across the Obi Obi Valley. A short walk takes you to the falls which is another magical site, particularly after heavy rainfall. ”

“Many visitors to the Sunshine Coast love the magnificent scenic drive up the Maleny range to Montville. First settled in 1887, it has grown into a thriving shopping village with a wonderful array of quality art galleries, stylish cafes and restaurants, gift shops and beautiful fashion stores, set in the picturesque surroundings of a shady tree-lined street with incredible views all the way down to the coast. ”

Cafe
“You will soon see why all the locals can be found here, this fantastic cafe has the most friendly service we have encountered for a while and the coffee is very good! They serve a few cake & bakery options to go with it. Lots of good books and magazines, good spot to pull up a chair for a few hours and just enjoy. Pets are looked after with their own bowl at the front. Definitely try this cafe out while you are here.”

“Kenilworth, Mapleton, Montville, Maleny. All beautiful, up on the range with amazing views. A nice day out. We particularly like Kenilworth Bakery for being a bit oldschool. Kondalilla National Park has a nice walk to a waterfall.”
