Marie is a wonderful host. We just stayed one night but we loved it. There is a kitchen with cereals and toast for breakfast and the room itself had everything you need. Alles war super, immer wieder gerne :)

Marie is such a friendly person she makes you feel at home on arrival. She was fantastic throughout our stay, offering us more towels when we came back wet from the village. She even left out bread, milk, biscuits and tea bags for us. The rooms were clean, spacious and came with en suites, we had our own kitchen and sitting room. A very enjoyable stay. Would recommend.

Mona's apartment was really spacious, cozy, and clean. It was in a handy location - less than a 10 minute walk into the town, with parking right outside. Mona was very efficient with replying to messages before we arrived. She met us at check in and showed us around the apartment and was very friendly. She kindly left us some snacks in the kitchen also. We had a great weekend in Donegal - we visited Teelin Pier and Sliabh Liag cliffs (just under an hours drive) which are spectacular, and spent a few hours exploring Glenveagh National Park. A beautiful county.

We would recommend this lovely place to anyone wanting to visit Donegal and the surrounding areas. The apartment is so lovely with lots of extra's.....MONA has really thought of everything and was so welcoming, even staying late to greet us after unexpected car issues. This apartment gives you access to many natural wonders.

My wife and I stayed at Mona's place for a weekend break in Donegal and it was perfect only a short walk into the town and a taxi back at night only costs €5, it is central for touring the north of Ireland. Mona was there to help us settle in and laid on tea and snacks for our arrival she also provided a lovely breakfast pack for the morning. The whole apartment was spotless and nicely furnished and the bed was so cosy also. All in all I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of visiting Donegal. Beautiful apartment within walking distance of the town centre. Mona was very helpful and left a bottle of wine along with breakfast items in the fridge. The apt is very clean and has everything you will need. Plenty of towels, shower gel and other thoughtful extras. Would highly recommend.

Check in was seamless, we were very late due to car issues and Mona was very accomodating. Apartment was very clean, well stocked and very nicely decorated. Well situated for our needs as it was close enough to town center for pleasant walk without being in the middle of things, as we like it. Highly recommended.

Patricia was amazing!! Her home is warm and inviting. After a very long flight and hectic day of travel, we were greeted with amazing hospitality. She gave us tips on where to eat and even gave us a lift into town. After dinner i enjoyed a relaxing soak in her garden sized bath tub. We woke up to a refreshing new start and had a wonderful breakfast.

Our accommodation in Patricia’s house was really comfortable and amazing with absolutely fantastic sights through our windows. Patrícia and her husband are quite friendly and helpful people. They helped and suggested us about others possible routes in our trip.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was built recently in a traditional Irish style. Gayle and her family, who live next door, are very attentive and provide everything you need in a holiday home. From the cottage it's a 15min walk into town centre, passing by a business park that has a lovely breakfast/lunch place and great Chinese takeaway.

Gayle is a great host and her home is a fabulous find--unique, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The town proper is only a short walk away. Gayle even gave us a tour after our arrival so we'd feel comfortable making our way around. If we return to Donegal, we would hope to stay here again.

Gayle was incredibly hospitable, welcoming us to Donegal and the AirBnB itself. The home is a charming cottage that was fully suited to house my family of four, is a short 10 minute walk into town, and is full of family gems that Gayle explained to us as she was showing us the home's amenities. As we were unpacking, Gayle offered to drive us into town but did so much more than that: she spent a solid 15 minutes giving us a car tour of Donegal, complete with shop and pub recommendations that were absolutely on point. Gayle is likely the best AirBnB host I have had to date and I highly recommend staying with her if you would like to spend a day or two in this quaint Irish town.

County Donegal is a special place in the world and I look forward to returning.

The cottage was perfect for the three of us. Gayle was beyond helpful by personally calling her local friends to help us get a good meal after arriving very late. She helped to give us the best experience of Donegal. She even brought us scones for the morning. Wish we had been able to stay longer. The cottage was very clean and well kept.

Kristina was a wonderful host and the house was very well kept. Its about a 10 euro taxi ride to the downtown if you don't want to drive. There was a full house the night we were there so it got a bit noisy when everyone was coming in and out at night, but the house is far enough from the downtown that there are no additional traffic or pedestrian noises to interfere. Kristina made for great conversation and gave us a lot of tips and recommendations on places to see in town and nearby as we continued on our journey.

This was by far the best airbnb myself or my friend Ashley whom I was traveling with have ever stayed in. After a long day of driving and hiking, we arrived at Christine's house and were met with a warm and welcoming host, a hot fire burning in the fire place, and an offering of tea and sandwiches. We immediately felt right at home while Christine showed us around. The rooms were as neat and orderly as promised complete with our own towels folded waiting for us on the bed as well as bottles of water on the dressers. After cleaning ourselves up a bit, we actually decided against going in to town to explore/get a bite to eat and instead opted to sit with Christine and her lovely partner Eamonn by the fire place to chat with them and have some late night tea! In the morning after a sound sleep, we were able to fuel for a long day ahead with the delicious breakfast spread that Christine had laid out for us (and French press coffee)! I can truly say that we have never felt more at home in an airbnb, and were very sad to say goodbye in the morning. If you are headed to Donegal (or even in the close vicinity) Christine's is the place to stay. She was warm, welcoming, and had some lovely stories and tips for us when checking out the area. We're already planning our next trip back and can't wait to stay with Christine again!

We loved our stay at Christine's house. We arrived at 7pm and warmed ourselves at the supercozy fireplace in the livingroom after a rainy day and had a nice chat with Christine. She was very welcoming and super kind and friendly. The room was clean and breakfast was great. If we didn't have to move on with our trip we would surely have stayed for another night because everything was perfect. Home away from Home. From my initial booking to us arriving communication was great and made us very relaxed that we had picked the best place to stay and unwind. When we arrived we were greeted by Christine and Eamon after being shown around their home and leaving our bags off we were amazed at the size and quality of the rooms and Bathroom. Christine was very attentive she had brochures and local knowledge that she was only too willing to share. As we were going to the food festival she rang us a taxi which only cost 5 euro and was great as we were able to arrange a return lift. we were told if we were hungry that she had fresh ham etc and to help ourselves to refreshments. Getting into bed was a dream as the beds were so comfortable, waking up next morning we all awoke refreshed and rested ready for our sightseeing adventure. Christine also gave us directions and told us the best ways to get to Slieve League. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day ahead. If you have the option to include Breakfast, I would definitely recommend and at 5 euro it is worth every penny and more. I can't wait for my return to Donegal and next time I do I hope it is with Christine and her home away from home. Lisa, Colin, Josephine

Close enough to town, spotlessly clean and with everything we could need (including an iron which was vital for us!). Barry very generously left us pastries and a bottle of wine which was very welcome. The house is perfect for anyone who would like to explore Donegal town and the surrounding area.

If you go to Donegal stay here. It's a wonderful cozy home with all of the amenities. Our host was there to welcome us, give advice and make sure we were happy. Donegal Town is a few minutes walk and 2 grocery stores are around the corner. I would definitely stay again.

we had a bit of difficulty find Helen's home, maybe it was just us in holiday mode! when we did get there, we were so pleased to have a home in a good area and with plenty of space for the four of us. Helen had left supplies for us which was a lovely touch. The house was homely, very clean and the most important thing being, the beds were so comfortable. we did worry about the noise from the loo downstairs, but after five minutes it became silent! thank you Helen - who i never did get to meet - for a very welcoming visit to fabulous Donegal.

Clean and comfortable home a short walk from the township of Donegal. Excellent tv and wireless. Self check-in details a supposed to arrive 3 days prior to booking... ours arrived 3 hours before which caused a bit of stress, but all worked out in the end.

Our stay at the Town Lodge was great. The internal pictures don't do it justice...the decor was lovely and the place was immaculately clean. There was also a lovely log burner for evenings when we didn't want to venture out. It was well kitted out with complementary tea, coffee and cookies...Would definitely stay here again. Grainne.

We loved the house and location. Very handy and fully equipped. However, the host decided initially to change the house for a different upgraded one and we had to ask for checking apt description in AirBnB site. Those schemas should be avoided in the future. AirBnB will lose 100% reliability.

This home is well located just a short ten minute walk to the centre of Donegal town which has many hotels, cafes, restaurants and traditional bars in. The house is decorated to a modern standard and the kitchen has all the equipment we needed to make a few meals. Just may need to bring cooking oil and matches. The towels and bed linen were clean and fresh. Odhran made it very easy for us to check in as we collected the keys from a safe box. The house is located on one floor which is useful for families or elderly. The house is off a steep road and so people may find this difficult to push a pram up for example. Overall wonderful stay, quiet and convenient.

We - 2 senior couples travelling from Australia. Loved our time at the Esker House in Donegal. Close to shops, restaurants, harbour and a lovely drive to Killybegs and Slieve League. Beware there are a few stairs so not suitable for all. Highly recommend

The lodge was ideal for what we needed. Brendan was an excellent host and answered any queries quickly and efficiently. The lodge gave my two children enough space to potter about inside and outside and we always felt that we had enough space given that it is a two bedroom bungalow. It had been recently renovated so everything was super clean and modern. Would definitely use again. Highly recommended.
