“Developed in the 1970’s the National Bowl in Milton Keynes is a world renowned music venue and event arena that has hosted some of the worlds biggest music acts. Recently bought by Pete Winkelman to develop as a football training and music venue and looking forward to many more live bands! The construction of the Bowl began in 1971 when surplus soil from the road building for the development of the City of Milton Keynes was piled on the site of a redundant brick works. In 1973 following some inspirational thinking the spoil was formed into a horse-shoe shaped arena on the same lines as the world famous Hollywood Bowl and on Saturday 8th September 1979 the National Bowl, hosted Desmond Decker and Geno Washington.
