Places to stay in Milwaukie
This wonderful, private little gem is just a few easy walking blocks from plentiful drinking, dining, dispensing, yoga & coffee spots. You will be one block from Woodlawn Park, 2 blocks from a bus and a 5 minute drive from the Alberta Shopping and Arts District. It's all so comfortably close by, but not close enough to disturb your relaxing, sweet retreat. Come have it all while living small in this tiny, artsy home away from home!
This space was built as a Model T Garage in 1926 behind a 1915 bungalow but it has had a face lift and has taken on a new life as a cozy, warm freestanding studio made mostly from reclaimed materials. A "tiny house" if you will, sweetly positioned between fruit trees and a garden sitting area. The sleeping loft comfortably sleeps two and there is a futon below the loft where one can enjoy a book while the other naps above. Occasionally you will hear the trains in the distance which adds a touch of nostalgia and you get to wake to the relaxing clucking and cooing of the neighborhood hens as this area has a nice spattering of urban farms and lots of mature trees. The table pictured here has been replaced with a "garden shed" counter that houses a small, removable basin sink. There is also a rustic, rough hewn armoire to hang clothes and tuck away your backpacks. The little kitchenette corner is stocked with utensils, a two burner cooktop, a mini fridge, a microwave, coffee and a coffee press. The studio's setup is more akin to a cabin, and as many cabins go, there is no bathroom. You will be given a key to the main house so please feel comfortable enough to come in and use the facilities. By the way, it is insulated, well heated, and stocked with plenty of blankets so it is a wonderful, warm hideaway in the fall and winter months as well. Yep, snuggly wifi too. The yard is plentiful with flowers and fruit bearing trees (figs and delicious yellow plums) in the summertime, as well as an array of veggies in the gardens where you can sit amongst the trees and regroup after a hard day at Powells Books. If you intend to bring a pet (or two) please message me BEFORE booking to confirm details and the pet fee. It's within a 5 minute walk from the heart of Woodlawn which has some fantastic spots to shop, drink, dance, and dine: -Firehouse Restaurant, somewhat romantic with good service -Woodlawn Coffee House, for plenty of people watching -Breakside Brewery, to grab a bite and catch up on the game -Grand Army Tavern, have some pork with your...pork : ) -Good Neighbor Pizza, laid back & late night too -P's & Q's Market serves yummy meals and a few grocery items -The Village Ballroom, for Square Dance and Special events -Uptown Cycles, sales and repairs -Portland Girl, spa day anyone? -Greener Grasses, well-rated dispensary -Koken Market, for almost any beer you want, snacks -Café Eleven, art, coffee, lunch & some pastries -Oregon Public House, the nation's 1st nonprofit pub -The Highwater Mark, rock pub with pool & hip hop on last Fridays -Tamale Boy, authentic & delicious with lots of outside seating -Bassato Gelato, 12 rotating flavors+bagels in the morning -HighWheel Mead, open Thurs-Sunday -(Seasonally) Woodlawn Farmer's Market at Woodlawn Triangle, Sat. 10-2 Downtown is a 15 minute drive. The Alberta Arts District is also just minutes away so you can hop on a bike and be right in the middle of the jam-packed Last Thursday Art Walk or make a day of it with shopping, dinner and some delicious ice cream from the infamous Salt & Straw. Then come "home" to your quieter retreat where you can just relax and lay in the hammock.....ahhhh. And as the area is well surrounded by beautiful, mature trees, you may decide to enjoy dinner in the love seat swing under the pergola and watch the evening sky. It is a wonderful theatre for watching small bats do their sky routine in the distance. Flying in? This spot is only 10 minutes from the airport. And while in Portland, you may want some wheels! Well, this location is very close to Zipcars and you can sign up with them or Car2go on their sites in advance of your stay. Check out Turo or Getaround to grab a vehicle to tool But if you want to explore the city on two wheels, Everybody Bike Rentals or Ebikes ( electric bike rentals) are the spots to hit first (10 min. by bus). They provide helmets and locks too! ***If you don't see the dates available on the calendar that you had hoped for or if you are traveling with more than two people, please check out my other listing (#95313) which is also a private studio at the same location. It is larger and complete with a private entry and bathroom. Just ask me! Parking is close and the livin' is pretty easy. So please get that profile completed, then contact me and come kick up your heels and stay a while! Oh! P.S. Please read the description, house rules and post a pic of you in your profile beforehand just so that everyone is on the same page. Much appreciated. Cheers!
  • This space is lovely and was great for our short stay, as we were mostly out and about and spent very little time at the house. Just a heads up, it is literally a renovated shed, so the experience is slightly rustic. Nonetheless, great for a shorty trip and has all the basic necessities.

With just the right amount of space for two, this studio has everything that makes a house feel like a home: a fireplace, a full kitchen, King Memory foam Bed, oak floors, handmade furniture, cable tv with HBO, and a private entrance.
This studio is a welcoming space in the center of an historic neighborhood that offers a unique perspective on the city of Portland. Ask me for in-depth info on where to go and what to see in the Irvington neighborhood, the Alberta Arts District, and other parts of Northeast Portland! Over the years, I’ve gotten to know quite a few incredible places to eat, drink, shop, and explore here. Located at the hub of some of Portland’s most interesting neighborhoods, this studio places the whole city at your fingertips. But adventure can be tiring, and the studio offers ample opportunity to put your feet up. Portland can get nippy at night, and a real wood fireplace, stocked with firewood from locally harvested and dried urban hardwood trees, is the perfect way to warm up and feel at home. The apartment has high ceilings and a great fireplace; it’s minimally decorated but has all the important things: a king bed, a couch with a coffee table, a small desk, a dresser and extra shelves, and a kitchen table. The kitchen comes fully stocked with the essentials for cooking a real meal, and the bathroom always has towels, soap and shampoo. The space is located on the first floor of a large 1910 home, which was converted to an eight-plex in the 1940s to adapt to the demands of WWII. I have lived in Irvington for 14 years and Portland for 25, and this house is one of the most unique that I’ve seen.
The Irvington neighborhood, now only a ten minute bike ride from downtown, was once a trolley-car suburb to the just-fully-developed West side. Designated a historic district by the National Register of Historic Places in 2010, Irvington is filled with early 20th century homes that have been preserved in their original states. Irvington has become a livable hub of Northeast Portland as a whole, with shops and restaurants of all kinds, within walking distance, surrounding the neighborhood. Irvington proper boasts more than a few community and culinary destinations of its own.
  • Calm & charming studio in a beautiful historic neighborhood!

  • This place was amazing!

    Steven2020-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Really awesome space with everything you’d need to cook your own food (plates, knives, pots and pans, oven, microwave, wine and bottle openers, etc). One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on as well. Would definitely recommend!

    Lyndsey2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • The space is very comfortable and a welcome sight after a long day of biking in Portland. Instructions for checkin and checkout were clear. The bathroom is small and can only fit one person, but it wasn't an issue for me personally. But anyway, I'm glad I found Hannah and Jason's place!

    Allyson2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay, very clean and comfortable. Amazing allocation and great response from Jason. Definitively recommended.

    Fernando2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice clean studio apartment on a quiet street in Northeast Portland. Downtown is easily accessible by public transport. Uber was only 11 dollars. Whole Foods is a 10 minute walk from here. The amenities in the home were stocked so that cooking a hot breakfast was easy. Again everything was clean and we definitely would stay again.

    Natalie2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This stylish, clean space is located in a very walkable and historic neighborhood. It’s close to shops and cafes. Easy parking. I appreciated the easy checkin. The space is very classy with a simple and open design plan. Loved the kitchen and tv space. Only stayed one night but it would be great for a longer stay. I would definitely stay again.

    Heather2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was in a great location in a very desirable neighborhood. I do want want to make a comment that I am sure that the host is already aware of. Just be prepared if you are a taller individual you may have some difficulty using the bathroom since the shower is very tiny along with the bathroom itself. Other than that, this was a very comfortable stay. Thank you again.

  • Very clean! Easy check in & check out! Would recommend.

    Madison2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great host and nice accommodations. The bed was extremely comfortable with nice linen and the room had a desk for getting work done. Place was clean, quiet, and was within walking distance to cool stuff. Very thoughtful host too. I can't sleep without a fan and they were nice enough to leave one in the room for me when I asked about this. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room. Very much like a hotel. TV as well. I accidentally took the keys with me when I left and they were so nice about it! Many people will charge you, but the host was super cool and told me I could mail the keys back to him. The room also has its own temperature control, and it was quiet. I will definitely book with them again!

  • Great little escape. Cool neighborhood. Located on busy MLK road. Single pane windows. Place itself was spotless and cozy. Restroom and shower shared with other residents. Felt super clean. Check in process smooth. Safe(ish) to walk around neighborhood at night.

The loft is located in our backyard in Southeast Portland. While we are only steps away if you need us, the space is very private. In fact, guests report that they forget they are in the middle of the city when they stay in our space! We live in a desirable and fun neighborhood, and parking can be tight! Guests usually find parking within a block or two of our house. At night or during busy times of the day, parking can be found within two short blocks. Guests may feel free to use our driveway for loading/unloading. We do not have a TV in the guesthouse, but offer excellent wifi access.

5 miles from Airport. Approx. $15 Uber or Lyft ride! Virus cleaning precautions: read description to see what measures we are taking to create a healthy stay. Cozy bedroom with warm, lively colors. This house was featured in Portlandia's 2014 season in the hilarious "Rent-It-Out," sketch! Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Portland. We have a 5 y.o. and are in and out of the house from 8am-8pm. Quiet hours are 10pm-7am and are truly quiet.
Virus cleaning precautions: staying healthy is important to us and you are included in that! We are taking extra measures to sanitize all surfaces: doorknobs, light switches, faucet handles, anything hands would touch many times/day. Additionally and always, sanitized and fresh linens are stocked including a new duvet cover for every guest. Please take advantage of Airbnb’s more lenient cancellation policy if you are sick and need to cancel. Likewise, we promise to cancel reservations if we fall ill. Thank you for your attention and care while we all work to create a clean and healthy environment for all of us. I am pleased and excited to announce that this house has been graced by none other than Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein of Portlandia for a sketch entitled "Rent-It-Out!" More Portlandia photos coming soon... Private room with Queen size bed in my home near Alberta Arts district. Surrounded by gardens and artistic works, this home is a gallery and gathering space for special events such as concerts, yoga classes, art openings and other happenings. This is the Cully neighborhood with large, sprawling lots full of gardens and mature trees and walking distance to all of the art, food and music you desire on Portland's famous Alberta Street. Near major bus lines and MAX, this town is known for it's simple and efficient public transportation. Our neighborhood has it all though: art galleries, wine bars, sake house, sushi, Thai Food, African food, Ale houses, a plethora of restaurants, music venues, parks, shopping, art and food carts, tea houses, dessert spots, bike rental, bike paths, walking paths, unique local-made clothing/jewelry, vintage second-hand store, theatre, New Season's grocery store offering conscious, organic choices, and a couple of pizza pubs and food carts. The bedroom is spacious with about 180 sq. ft, a queen size bed, other sitting options, good light, bamboo floor, and a shared restroom just a few feet away. During your stay, you may encounter private vocal or guitar lessons (you are invited to book a private session!), concerts open to the public (and you!) or an occasional facilitated public event. We’ll make sure you get a heads-up and an invite. The house has many common spaces to enjoy such as the living room, front porch and garden in the front yard. Here you can expect a peaceful, relaxing stay or getaway. The house is clean, tidy, bright and welcoming. Currently I am showing ceramics, photographs and paintings. More to come! I am a ceramic artist and have works on display. The pictured baby grand piano is used by Portland vocalist Jonathan Brinkley to teach voice lessons from time to time. His sessions are playful, inspiring, refreshing, and benefit more than just singing. He is available should you decide you'd like an impromptu lesson!
We’re close to Alberta St., NE 42nd Ave, NE Fremont and NE Killingsworth and only a few miles from Mississippi St.. Tons to do/see/eat/play and explore in our hood!
  • Jennifer was a pleasant and attentive host—with useful suggestions about where to dine locally. The room was clean and comfortable, though a little noisy (she has a young daughter). I would highly recommend Jennifer’s place to anyone who needs quick and easy access to PDX Airport.

  • Jennifer and her family were great hosts! I found her place to be super charming. The room was accommodating with just about everything I needed, and the bed was a treat. Super soft and the sheets felt like butter:) I forgot that I'd booked this room with a shared bathroom, but I honestly never had to wait to get in, so if felt more private even if it wasn't. Her home was close to everything I needed to see, and overall, I'd definitely book again if I ever return:)

In the middle of a restaurant, brewery, coffee, and Portlandia paradise! This private one bedroom apartment is located in the vibrant Hawthorne District, considered to be one of the best neighborhoods for tourists in the city! Close to everything! I am a food blogger (pizza) here in Portland, and love sharing my favorite spots in the city. See our reviews! Our guests share all you need to see before booking! :) Please inquire for dates more than 6 months out. We look forward to hosting you!

The apt is under our living space, has sound mitigation, and includes its own entrance, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area. Brand new concrete floors throughout, with insulation underneath. • This is a gem tucked into a safe neighborhood near Hawthorne in Portland. Blaine and Taylor are gracious hosts who communicate often to make sure you have what you need and are comfortable. The bed is amazing! It is one of the most comfortable I have slept on away from home. You will find this apartment to be efficient and set up with everything you will need. Lots of welcoming special touches. We loved our five day stay there!

    Jean2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Blaine is an extremely responsive, helpful and welcoming host. The apartment is spotless, and he provides all that is needed for a very comfortable stay. The location is great! As Blaine describes in his listing, there is some noise transfer from the upstairs to the downstairs apartment...specifically footsteps. Unfortunately, I was awakened by footsteps in the middle of the night, even though I know that folks upstairs where trying to be quiet. That said, if you are sensitive to noise, as I am, this may not be the best place for you to stay. Blaine does provide a white noise machine. My son, who slept on the pullout sofa in the living room, found these to be very helpful.

  • This Hawthorne Haven is amazing. So close to the action in Portland for food and fun. Very chic and stylish place to keep you cozy. Just a Uber or Lyft to any hotspot and the “Haven” is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Prefect place to stay if you are new to Portland! 5 stars!

    McArthur2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great space that was very clean and just as advertised. The location was perfect, parking was a non issue, and it was very quiet despite being in a densely populated area.

    Jordan2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely adore this place! My partner and I came in town for the weekend and never wanted to leave this space when it came time to follow our own itinerary. It was so clean, smelled great, is super and so freaking cute! Blaine provided great accommodations/complimentary items with the space. I love that they provided a manual for the entire place and its gadgets along with recommended places to site-see and to eat; it was very helpful and much appreciated. I hope to stay here for all my visits back to Portland if I can. I was not in a hurry to leave.

Whatever your reason may be for visiting Portland, my place is in an ideal geographical location and in close proximity to many of Portland's top destination spots. The apartment has great views of the city and overlooks the Burnside Bridge and Willamitte River. I like to keep my place clean with all the modern essentials of an apartment such as a Chemex, All-Clad cookware, linen sheets, and a fridge full of all sorts of hot sauces to name a few.
This studio apartment has exposed concrete in which a wall separates the living and bedroom space. There is a queen bed in the bedroom area and a futon couch in the living room area, which is surrounded by plants and terrariums. The kitchen is equipped with All-Clad cookware, Bodum french press, Bodum tea press, Chemex, Hario manual coffee grinder, cookbooks, and other items for your culinary needs. I have a water filter and drinks in the fridge that you are welcome to as well as a free range use of everything in the kitchen, including teas and Yerba Mate in the drawers. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment that you have access to. In the bathroom, I have available Kiehl's shampoo and face wash as well as local favorite from Portland's very own Maak Lab multi-use wet soap, which can be used on body, hand, face, and hair.
The apartment has great views of the city and overlooks the Burnside Bridge and Willamitte River. It is blocks away from Portland favorites like Olympia Provisions (best eggs benedicts), Ristretto Roasters, Water Avenue Coffee, Sizzle Pie, Le Pigeon, and Nong’s Khao Man Gai and Voodoo Donuts and Stumptown Coffee are just across the bridge.
  • Great location by Burnside bridge. Spent almost two weeks here for work, this apartment was great for productivity and convenient for walking to restaurants. Gym in building is excellent.

  • Perfect location and beautiful view.

  • I had an amazing stay at V’s place. It had a great view and the place was clean and provided a lot of amenities.

    Raul2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great studio with everything you could need as a business traveler. The building is nice and new and conveniently located to visit different parts of Portland. Would definitely recommend.

  • I had an amazing stay at V’s. The apartment is perfect for my short stay in Portland and it has everything that I needed. I was on a solo trip and was considering to stay in a hotel room as I didn’t need much space but then I found V’s apartment and glad I made the booking. Love the stylish design, the place was clean, with beautiful view of the river and perfect location. V is also very responsive and communicative, all check in and check out process were done smoothly. If you’re looking for a nice place with modern design and beautiful view of Portland and value for money, I would definitely recommend this place! A bit of downside: the noise from music playing at the skate park nearby can be a disturbance if you’re trying to sleep early as the music run late especially on weekend, as well as car’s sounds from the highway.

    Kooswardini2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and a great space for a solo traveler or a couple. Appreciated the fast WiFi, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and big screen tv. Absolutely stunning view of the river and Portland skyline, especially sunset and at night.

  • The perfect building with a fabulous spa; stylish, clean and a great view of the iconic Welcome to Portland Old Town sign and Saturday Market. Location is in a great neighborhood within walking distance to all of my favorite restaurants and bars. our host was super friendly and accommodating. We will certainly stay here again if available.

  • A great place to spend time while getting to know Portland.

  • I would definitely recommend anybody to stay in Jonathan's place. It feels comfortable and private. Has all of the amenities you could need. Great price!

    Jason2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place with excellent value! I will say that if you are over 5’6”, you’ll have a great time in the shower.

    Alicia2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan’s place provides a lot of space and conveniences very close to several PDX bus stops. The washer and dryer are in the lower level which is the one I rented. I was there in July/August so the lower level apartment was nice and cool. The neighborhood is peaceful and it is a quick walk to Rite Aid, McGraff’s Fish House, Dollar Store etc. I utilized TriMet for many trips to Oregon City, Sellwood, and Portland. I was amazed at how many transit trip options were within a short walking distance — this is not a one-bus line location, so use your Smartphone to find the quickest trip.

    Michael2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Simple basement apartment with full bathroom and easy (and free) washer/dryer access. Everything you need, Jonathan is easy to deal with and prompt, and the price is great!

Private studio suite (500 sq ft). The unit is on the lower half of this lovely 2 level duplex, private entry is on the ground level (self check-in). The space is warm and inviting. There is a kitchenette, private bathroom, washer & dryer, queen memory foam bed (and an extra blow up queen bed) with off street parking. Only 15 minutes to downtown Portland and 1/2 mile to mass transit. Very safe location, great neighborhood. Also, there is a lovely patio for your outdoor enjoyment, day or night.
My guests have told me the space is much nicer than the description. They love the fact that I have very soft towels, coffee, bottled water, shampoo and a lot of other extras... kind of like you would get in a hotel. They love that the space is so private, safe in a nice neighborhood and in a good central location to get around. If you don't have a vehicle there is a grocery store and restaurants just a few blocks away.
This unit is in the small town of Milwaukie. It is quiet and safe, but a great location if you want to go to downtown Portland in 20 minutes, only 1 1/2 hours to the beach or the top of Mt. Hood, only a 40 minute drive to the fantastic Columbia River Gorge.
  • Linda was the perfect host. She responded quickly whenever I needed anything but gave me complete privacy the rest of the time. The space is quite large and has a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, a microwave oven, and a toaster broiler, plus cooking and eating utensils, dishes, pot holders, and more. In the large main room, there is a large, very comfortable bed, a comfortable couch, a table, and a TV. There is also free WiFi. The linens, towels, etc. were all nice and clean. There is dedicated parking in the driveway right in front of the house, so I didn't have to go far to carry my things in and out. There are grocery stores nearby and beautiful walking paths a short distance away along the Milwaukie Bay. This definitely a great value!

    Stephanie2020-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Convenient location and excellent value! only complaint is it’s hard to wake up in the morning due to not much light getting into the space! Great place though

    Ivan2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very comfortable stay. We were able to sleep in after a long night of working at a convention and that is a rare thing for us to be able to do.

    Mary Caiyte2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Linda's place. It is cozy and quiet and the bed was unbelievably comfortable which was a real bonus! Her place is in a really nice neighborhood and convenient to Portland and surrounding areas. Hope to visit again soon.

    Debra2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Linda was an amazing host! The place was cozy and homey with all the decor and the supplies provided were all fully stocked and organized. I liked how Milwaukie was a 15-20 minute drive to Portland and it was also the halfway point of all places we visited during our stay :)

    Emerald2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A cute little stay for a very affordable price.

    David2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy setup, fast friendly service. The room was warm when we arrived in winter. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it with me. Everything I would want and need was provided, even a washer and dryer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • This place was the perfect little home for our trip to Oregon! Everything was way better than expected and Linda was very helpful and made us feel welcomed! She was very quick to respond to any questions and made sure our stay was comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here! She even let us borrow her umbrella due to the rain. Thank you, Linda!

A colorful quintessential Portland studio. The studio has easy access from the side entrance. It is a private, comfortable, quiet, colorful and cozy space. Provided is a shared pleasant bathroom at the head of the stairs.
The place is colorfully painted and decorated with furnishings that I have personally refurbished and other quirky and beautiful things. The kitchen is small, but fairly well equipped with basic appliances (sink, 2 burner stove, refrigerator), electric water kettle, pots and pans, dishes etc, crockpot. The bed is a double mattress dressed with natural materials. There is a TV but o cable, although there is internet.
I live on a relatively quiet street in a residential area within walking distance from a busy commercial strip.
  • Christine's basement apartment absolutely amazing. All the little artsy touches. From the wonderfully functioning kitchenette to the comfy bed everything about our stay was 100% perfect. Christine is a caring compassionate host and a wonderful conversation companion while at the same time giving you space and privacy. A place is located on a quiet street close to the bus line and shopping. There are beautiful parks within walking distance. It was more than anything I could have asked for in a stay. My family and I love it there. The shower is gorgeous and the houseplants make for an extra special touch.

    Chelsey2020-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Christine's place is quite beautiful and very comfortable. The room is in a very roomy basement room. Christine is kind in every way, she really goes above and beyond to make your stay bliss.

    Bryan2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • There are beautiful and fun creative touches everywhere around this cozy, clean space. Christine was a great host, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable few days. The shared bathroom was no inconvenience at all, it's in a fantastic location and just, on the whole, far exceeds what you'd often find for this price. I'll definitely be back!

This tranquil hideaway feels like you're in the middle of the forest, but is just minutes from Portland. Relax next to the burbling creek surrounded by towering cedar trees. The MAX Orange line and downtown Milwaukie are only five minutes away. Built in 1928, the cabin has one bedroom and bathroom, living room, full kitchen, central heat and a wood stove. The bedroom has one queen bed and an en suite bathroom. There is a pull-out queen futon in the living room.
Ducks, great blue heron and owls are frequent visitors in the yard. Depending on the season, fresh eggs from our chickens may be available.
Milwaukie is about 15 minutes south of downtown Portland (a bit longer if there's traffic). Except at rush hour, highway 99 is a quick and easy way to access all that the closer-in neighborhoods have to offer. Then escape to your retreat in the woods!
  • Excellent, comfortable, clean cabin. Very happy with our stay here.

    Jason2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • A hidden gem! We spent a relaxing weekend resting next to the creek and listening to all the birds.

    Becca2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy cabin with a beautiful backyard/creek scenery. Get the fire going and enjoy the peaceful scenery. You are only about 20 minutes away from anywhere you’d like to go, so the location was ideal. The cabin also unofficially comes with 2 of the cutest pups you’ll ever see that love to greet you and hang with you if you pet them! The cabin was perfect for 2 of us with plenty of amenities. The host provided plenty of privacy as we were relaxing and enjoying the lovely backyard. Pat and heather were amazing hosts, so I Would definitely recommend this place to others!

  • A nice cabin with a great outdoor space on a creek.

    Joe2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place is really lovely! It has all the things that you will need for a cozy stay in the Portland area. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a really nice rain head shower, and a cozy bed. It is a fairly short walk to a train that takes you directly into Portland but you are far away from the hubbub of downtown. Also, there are two sweet Bassett hounds that greet you. Awesome!

    Sara2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Access was super easy, we found everything inside that we needed, and we even got to play with two dogs. What more can you ask for?

  • Great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet, rustic little nook!

    Jesse2020-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew’s space was a couple blocks from us so we decided to look into social distancing from a tiny trailer for our first anniversary. Matthew took every precaution. He disinfected and bleached the space for us, and did not interact with us in person at all. AirBNB in the age of Covid is a strange thing, but Matthew is doing it well. We have additional personal reasons that made this stay necessary, and we don’t recommend frivolous travel, but if for any reason you are looking at this time, Matthew is fantastic and the space is very clean, cute, and cozy. Thank you!

    Zia2020-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay. I'll confess that I'm moderately obsessed with trailers and getting a chance to stay in a cute, vintage trailer was a dream. This trailer is not for the person/couple wanting a hotel experience, the description in the listing is ACCURATE. The trailer is very clean and if you like rustic charm but still want WiFi then this is the listing for you. It's perfect for a couple nights away, would definitely stay here again.

Our vintage farmhouse is tucked away off the street in a quiet neighborhood SE of downtown Portland. Private entrance, own parking next to door. It is close to restaurants and dining. Downtown Portland ten minutes away by car, public transport and light rail nearby. A little rural ambiance with spacious mature gardens, covered front porch in which to sit and enjoy bubbling fountain or play basketball/pickleball on our court in backyard. Sellwood area is close by, well worth checking out!
Your own private entrance is easily accessed with your own off street parking spot steps away from your back door entrance. You have complete privacy if wanted. Your private unit has bedroom, kitchenette and full bath w tub/shower, washer and dryer. Our newly installed air conditioner has fully ionized air infiltration system (pollen, smoke, allergy-free). Street parking in front as well if preferred.
Historic downtown Milwaukie is a 3 minute drive away. You will find our little town full of great eateries. Several great places for coffee and breakfast. Our favorite is just blocks away, Milwaukie Cafe and Bottle. Be sure to stop by the Parisian chocolatier, and yes a historic old fashioned soda fountain. There is a great Farmer's Market along with several ethnic restaurants.
  • This is a wonderful place to stay: a charming apartment, beautiful outdoors, quiet neighborhood, wonderful hosts, close to stores and Starbucks.

  • If you are coming to Oregon and need a peaceful and relaxing place to stay I would definitely recommend Don and Lynda’s farm house. It is full of amenities such as a kitchenette, full private bathroom and your very own parking spot! Don and Lynda put a lot of thought into everything, such as having the lights on and heater going for when I arrived, complementary robe and slippers every small detail was well thought out. I really enjoyed my stay at the farm house! I hope for future visits I’m able to book this adorable and lush room!

    Jessica2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend staying at Linda and Don's place. This Airbnb feels perfect for one person by being private and separate from the house while also feeling safe and close to the owners. This area is a great alternative for being outside of Portland city limits but well within a convenient drive to downtown Portland and other attractions in the area as well as a short 25 minute drive from PDX airport. The space is spotless and clean, and I thought the handwritten notes on the walls and fixtures added a friendly, personal touch. The bed, blankets, and pillows were all of good quality and comfortable. Having the small kitchenette was really convenient since I bought a few snacks and drinks to keep with me for the 3 nights I stayed. I was able to chat with Lynda for a few minutes, and she was helpful with giving me extra information about the area and recommendations for outdoor activities. I will definitely use their Airbnb again on future visits to Portland.

  • Great hospitality and quick to communicate with. Answered our questions (although we had close to none, the directions were very clear!) promptly. An awesome location for seeing Portland and close enough to the coast that we were able to drive and see the ocean! Would highly recommend this very clean and cute place!

    Maria2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, and even better than expected. Really loved the set up! So many nice touches, and felt like it’s own little place. If you are extremely sensitive to noise you may want to pack some earplugs to be safe, but if you’re planning to be out and about all day I doubt you’ll have an issue. Hosts were courteous and you can tell they take great care of their space!

Beautifully appointed and very cozy studio apartment like space, in my house with separate private entrance, and with everything you need to feel comfortable while visiting the Portland area. NOTE: This place is virus safe in the sense that you have your own separate outside entrance and it has been thoroughly cleaned and surfaces disinfected. You can totally socially isolate here should you choose!
Beautifully appointed and very cozy studio apartment like space, in my house with separate private entrance, and with everything you need to feel comfortable while visiting the Portland area. The kitchenette is fully stocked in case you like to bake or cook your meals. Microwave, toaster, blender, toaster oven, refrigerator with a small cafe table for enjoying morning coffee. Queen size private bed with a full-size futon for extra sleeping accommodation. There is plenty of free street parking, a washer and dryer for use, and free Wifi included. There is no inside smoking or pets allowed. This location is a short drive or a nice walk to the river and only 10 minutes drive to downtown Portland (or hop on the new light rail). Walking distance to coffee, groceries, and a very short walk or drive to downtown Milwaukie where you'll find quaint cafes the headquarters of Dark Horse Comics, a collectors mall, and highly recommended restaurants and a beautiful new local library. We have a book of local sights, cafes, restaurants, and transportation that is kept in the apartment as a resource for you. The apartment is in a nice and quiet residential neighborhood and is very private with a door in the back of the house. Walk through a beautiful landscaped walkway to your own private entry. You'll feel tucked in and cozy in your beautiful, Zen space! If you don't rent a car or have your own, there is ample public transportation as well as "Uber" and "Lyft" for your convenience. Portland is known for its great public transportation and it keeps getting better. Walking distance to bus stops and the light rail which can take you to and from the airport and also Downtown Portland. Safe travels and see you when you arrive!
Quiet neighborhood in the Historic Milwaukie neighborhood. Walking distance to the Willamette river, stores and restaurants, and the Downtown Milwaukie area with it's several restaurants, coffee shops, food cart pod, brand new library, antique stores, small shops, etc.
  • This is a nice little place, and with the new Orange Line you can get downtown within 25 minutes. James is attentive and accommodating. We needed a place to stay while we looked for a house and this was an ideal situation, especially since most people will not allow reservations for more than 30 days. There is also a good amount of storage which was helpful for us. Although it is a basement, it has been refinished and kept up well and there is no musty odor. It's quite comfortable and the yard is nice, too. I'd recommend this as a place to land if you are moving to Portland or have an extended stay here.

    Joseph2015-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I visited Portland for 5 days and wanted to stay somewhere affordable. The cozy basement apartment was perfect for our short stay in the Portland area. James was a great host and very accommodating! He helped answer some of our questions about the city and gave suggestions. The little apartment had all the basics for us. It was a short drive to the city and within walking distance of historic Milwaukee and the river. We highly recommend this apartment!

    Lindsey2015-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great little apartment. Close to downtown and shopping. Walked everyday to downtown, library, coffee shop and Farmer's market on Sundays. James was the best host, checking in on me weekly. The apt is nicely appointed. Cooked meals here every night. Had all the necessary cooking items needed. Being allowed to use basement for storage helped immensely. Be aware that there is no radio, TV or alarm clock in the unit tho. Internet was great so I streamed the news every night and brought my own radio. Stayed nice and cool in this apt in the hottest Portland summer on record. Would definitely stay here again.

    Theresa2015-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • James's little apartment was perfect! Clean, well stocked with all of the necessities, quiet and private. James was a wonderful host. And even in rush hour traffic, downtown Portland was only 20 min away!

  • My husband and I were looking for a inexpensive but nice place to stay while visiting our daughter in the Portland area. We found it here. The apartment was cute, clean, and cozy and had everything we needed for the week. it was a short walk to public transportation and we enjoyed the area very much. James was a great host. He met us at the apartment late because our plane was delayed. He took the time to show us where everything was and how everything worked. He provided a nice basket of fruit and breakfast bars for us and had a list of area interests and maps available. We really enjoyed our stay!

  • We had excellent communication with James, and all was as expected. Upstairs tenants were gone most of the week, so our stay was completely quiet. Well equipped kitchen and nicely furnished overall. WiFi was fast and dependable. Comfortable bed with quality bedding. Taller guests (I'm 6'5" will quickly learn where to duck when moving about this basement apartment. Would recommend visitors have a car.

  • I had a wonderful stay in James's apartment. It is located in Milwaukie - about a 40 minute bus ride to downtown Portland. The bus stop is about two blocks away from the house itself. There is a large grocery store, great restaurants and bars all within half a mile. The apartment is very cozy with an adorable bedroom nook. The kitchen is very well equipped. James is very attentive to details - for example, he provided breakfast items for my stay, and provided maps and takeout menus. He took the time to show me the smoke alarms, first aid kit, etc. He was also very responsive to phone calls, texts, etc. I highly recommend this property!

    Kirsten2014-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as expected with the unit we rented from James. James was very professional and had all the bases covered with info about the unit, neighborhood, etc. He also stocked it with basic food items and we were very comfortable. The unit is basic and well maintained. Clean, quiet and comfortable. If you're looking for a quality bargain rental, I'd recommend this one.

Come stay in a cozy wall tent on our gorgeous urban farmstead! You'll have access to all the facilities in the house, but the privacy and charm of a beautiful canvas wall tent. This is Portland glamping at its best. We are a small community of artists, musicians, thinkers, and all around good people. We love meeting new people and sharing our space.
The space is on a half-acre with a 1909 farmhouse as the centerpiece. We want you to feel at home to use the outdoors of the garden and comfort of the house. Nothing is off limits!
We are located in the heart of Portlands "Jade District," walking distance from dozens of the most authentic Asian food restaurants you will find. There are also excellent coffee shops adjacent to college very close by.
  • Really cool people, yard, and tent. I was prepared for the cold weather by having a good jacket and Dirk made sure I was comfortable with lots of blankets and a cozy sleeping bag. Everyone I met was very friendly, I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend especially if you are on a budget like me!

  • Good spot, nice big yard for a furry friend. Close to some of the best spots to eat on 82nd.

    Marisa2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful people. Not intrusive but always there if you need them. They’re incredibly polite and hospitable.... just all around we had an amazing time and would happily stay with them again and again

    Donovan2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • It was nice to stay @ Dirk & Corey's personal glamping spot! We had everything we needed & slept great in the tent. A little family of racoons enjoyed being outside of the tent on the 1st night but we love to camp & enjoy the outdoors. The weather was perfect & couldn't have made the stay much more perfect.

    V2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • It's a cute and unique experience, so if the urban "glamping" at all tempts you, you won't regret it. The yard is quiet, relaxing, and perfect for reading a book with a can of wine after a busy day. My two biggest pieces of advice is to take account the weather and bring a portable charger.

    Katie2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot. Cool folks!

    Ben2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a great space! My partner and I came to Portland for their birthday weekend and this Airbnb made our trip very special. The tent felt very secure and spacious and we had easy access to a fridge, bathroom, and an awesome shower- all just across the very beautiful back yard. Dirk was super friendly and accommodating, as were the other people living in the home. The dogs are gentle sweethearts and hanging out with them was a major perk. I was thrilled to find out that we were only three minutes away from Doe Donuts, which is where you can go for the best donuts in Portland and I highly recommend checking them out. We were also just a quick drive to Southeast Portland. This place offers an enchanting retreat experience and I would recommend it to anybody who loves being a little closer to nature. We would definitely stay here again!

    Elisa2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb is a perfect getaway for the summer! My husband and I enjoyed every little thing during our stay. Our dog had a great time as well, huge yard with other friendly dogs on this property. Dirk and Corey was very quick with responds and also very informative. Such a relaxed and friendly environment. Would love to stay here again if we have the chance to visit Portland again!

  • Vena was a wonderful host. Her place was so cute and cozy with plenty of room to stretch out. The location was good for taking my daughter to Lewis has Clark and close to the cute little towns of Milwaukie and Sellwood. Also Bob's Red Mill is very close and definitely worth a visit. The hospitality was outstanding and there were lots of nice touches and snacks and things you might need for cooking. We would love to stay there again.

  • Vena and her family were outstanding hosts. They were incredibly attentive and hospitable making sure that we were settled and had everything we needed. The place is exactly as described and more. It's really cozy and is packed with everything you might need. It's also perfect if you're travelling with a family since they have toys and children's books. All in all, a really wonderful experience!

  • Vena is an excellent host and provides her guests with everything needed to feel at home! Everything was very clean and exactly as described. She was extremely welcoming and gave many suggestions for places to eat and visit during our stay. She even baked us scones one morning! :) Would definitely recommend and will be returning on our next trip!

  • Very friendly host and very thoughtful touches. Beautiful garden! Walking distance to Safeway, and about a 25 min ride to downtown.

    Stephanie2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Vena is a wonderful hostess! There was a private entry into the downstairs suite. It suited our needs perfectly. It was quiet and peaceful and had everything we needed.

    Brooke2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • I really liked the location, it was very Central to all of our activities. Hosts were great! Clean and spacious.

  • I had such a comfortable stay that I added an extra night! Great location if you’re looking to be away from the busy downtown area, but not too far. Cute and whimsical - the space was generous in size. No issue with internet connection. TV was spotty but I wasn’t there to watch tv. Great for a family or friends seeking personal space ( two bedrooms.) The kitchenette was fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare small meals. Further, Vena provided some basics, such as cereal, coffee, tea and granola bars. Extra linen/ towels were readily available and the bathroom was stocked with all of the essentials. Vena provided my kids with arts and craft projects which they loved! Safeway grocery store was just up the road as was a host of dining options. Chase bank was nearby as well. Vena escorted us on a few local tours- ones that we would have never known about. I would stay here again.. Definitely a 5 star rating. Oh, I had a rental car so I can’t advise on public transportation. Had my own parking space in the driveway which was super convenient.

  • Perfect location if you’re looking to be away from the busy downtown area but not too far away. The accommodations were generous— whimsical and eclectic decor. Perfect for a family or friends wanting separate sleeping areas. Kitchenette perfect for preparing small meals but the host does provide coffee, teas , cereal, granola bars and other snacks. Convenient onsite parking a plus. Short walk to Safeway market and a host of places to eat nearby. Chase bank nearby. No issue with WiFi. Spotty tv service likely due to location but I wasn’t there to watch tv. Good shower water pressure. Bathroom fully stocked with anything you may have forgotten at home. The host provided arts and crafts and books which my kids loved. She also turned us on to some sites to visit not necessarily on everyone’s radar. We had such an awesome time, we stayed an extra night! Would stay here again.

  • Quiet location ( except for the local peacocks! ), very comfy home from home...and Kelsi is a lovely hostess.

    Richard2020-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed by stay at Kelsi’s place. The long-reserved place I had original arranged for didn't go well, so I had to contact multiple hosts on the fly hoping I had a place to stay for the night. Kelsi responded within a few minutes and addressed all my questions with a genuine interest to help. As the days went by her attentiveness remained unchanged, which I wanted to share with you.

    Jaqui2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Kelsi's place is spacious and exactly as advertised. It's well-stocked with everything you need. Nested in a quiet neighborhood and not too far of a drive to downtown. Will definitely stay again on our next visit.

  • This was the BEST airbnb that we’ve ever stayed at. Super clear instructions for check in, and there was a booklet with great recommendations for food. We were blown away by how many snacks and breakfast foods were provided. It was very thoughtful and generous. Really quick and easy communication. Danusia and Ron were really happy to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Danusia even brought feather earrings she made for us to pick out before we left. We came to compete in a jiu jitsu tournament and this was the most comfortable, peaceful and helpful place to stay. 100% recommend it. There were two spacious bedrooms, we had the whole space to ourselves. We cant wait to come back :)

  • What a sweet little place! Really great to have a private side entrance with its own little deck. The beds were nice and super comfy, the kitchen was homey and cozy and the bathroom was nice and clean. The way the rest of the house is separated makes you feel comfortable to walk out the door into the kitchen and bathroom without feeling like you were intruding. The Homegrown style of the kitchen and the chemical free natural products household that they run made me feel right at home. That and waking up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. 🤗 Hannah and Stefan are excellent hosts! Prompt and responsive. Kind and warm.... what else could you ask for...

  • Awesome place. Separate from the rest of the house, so you don't don't have to walk through someones living room, or feel like your intruding, when going to your room. Would definitely stay again

    Alphonso2020-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Ken's room was amazing. The two rooms available are sectioned from the rest of the house, with the double bed being upstairs and the queen bed being downstairs. The double bed room has a TV in it, while the queen bedroom has no TV, but is right next to the living room available for the guest. Ken has tea and coffee available for the guest. It is a very nice place, and it's great for people who may be out late, as the entrance is separate from the rest of the house

  • These hosts are what Airbnb is all about. It was not just a room, but a nice house to rent as well. I was able to cook and use laundry. They also allowed me to charge my electric car, I made sure to ask first and schedule the charging sessions. They were very kind, and I felt genuinely welcome.

The Milwaukie Cafe and Bottle Shop is a block and a half north on SE 32nd and serves food until 3:00 PM daily. Try their polenta bowls and flourless chocolate cake! The cafe also has a good local beer and wine selection.
  • Plenty of room to work and spread out, with pin-drop quiet for sleep. Thanks, Kelsi, for a great place to stay!

    Erin2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at The Nest! Straightforward listing, easy and fast communication. Kelsi was available with any questions we had. Safe area and lots of great areas around for easy access to all the PNW has to offer!

    Jen2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Spotlessly clean, has everything one needs, great communication. Anything that someone might have a problem with is well described in the listing. I was glad to be in my little four door economy car, and not in our large family SUV, but I had no trouble backing out of the driveway. I didn’t need the alternative street parking. My daughter said that the folding pullout bed was surprisingly comfortable (she’s slept on a lot of them!) It felt like a safe working class neighborhood. It’s on a somewhat busy street, but we didn’t notice any road noise, or have any trouble getting out of the driveway. Comfortable, and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

    Dawn Dee2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is really really nice! So quiet clean and comfortable . I agree with other reviewers who said that it doesn't feel like you're in the basement, lots of light and space . A very calm place to come back to at the end of the day. It's not at all hard to back out of the driveway. Kelsi is friendly and super responsive if you have any problems, which you won't.

    Jessica2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • The posting for this space is very accurate. The suite is very spacious and clean and the owner took great care to ensure that you have everything you need during your stay.

    Nicholas2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • I have to admit, when I went down the steps into a dark basement, I wondered if I'd made a less than perfect choice, but when I opened the door into the bright and fresh apartment, my concerns dissolved. The space was inviting, the kitchen (though we didn't have a chance to cook) looked really well stocked with dishes and sundries, and I appreciated all of the space to spread out and to store luggage. The closet was huge! No suitcases on the floor of the bedroom. Kelsi responded very quickly to questions, but otherwise stayed completely out of our hair. We ate breakfast just a walk down the street at the Milwaukie Cafe. Such good food - don't miss the biscuits.

    Ellen2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • The place was so clean, cozy and beautiful. The location was convenient for us because we were planned to go to the outlet. Kelsi provided everything we needed. We had a great time, and we highly recommend it!

  • Very clean place to stay! Only 10-15mins away from downtown by car. Kelsi responds to you very fast whenever you need her. Great price for such a nice place.

  • Very homey feel, decent and overall clean, safe area, especially for the price, great little gem. Also grateful for it being a dog friendly space, my dog was comfy and welcomed too:) The Lounge/Kitchen area is closer to the Queen Bedroom unit I was staying in, would bring some airfreshner spray/candle to combat lingering food smells at times. Had a few brief encounters with Ken (the host) and he is a very pleasant, easy going person, and quick to respond. Definitely recommend this place and would come back!

    Chris2020-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place is awesome! It states that you have to share a bathroom if the other room is rented out, but I had no issues with it. The space is spread out enough where you don’t have to worry about being too loud or disturbing your neighbor. It’s an awesome place hands down. And the keyless entry makes for an easy check in. We arrived a little late so we weren’t able to use the laundry room, but it’s such an amazing amenity. Very thoughtful to allow people to use. The lounge area is amazing. Couch, television and a mini fridge are perfect additions. Would definitely stay here again! A lot of value for the price.

Northwest meets Southwest in our cozy daylight basement guest suite, appointed with comfy Pendleton linens, refreshing spa supplies, and plenty of space to spread out and relax. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, it's the perfect place to unwind for a little while without breaking the bank.
Thoughtfully furnished, this ~800 sqft basement guest suite features a queen-sized organic mattress, 60 inch HD TV, hard wood furniture, a daylight alarm clock, microwave, mini-fridge, and spare air mattress (upon request). The unit has a living room, large bedroom and bathroom complete with a spacious glass block walk-in shower.
Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood one block from Harney Park, and just a few minutes drive from groceries, food carts and I-205 for easy access to the airport. Downtown is a 15 minute drive, and fun SE neighborhoods like Woodstock, Sellwood and Richmond/Division are even closer. All of the best Asian and Mexican food can be found on our side of town, and Powell Butte Park (where you can see 4 mountain tops!) with its many hiking and biking trails is 20 minutes away.
  • Alyssa is hands the down the best Airbnb host I have ever encountered. Ever. Period. We were in a complicated situation and every single day she made us feel like our worries were not big at all. The shower is off the chain. It’s HUGE. The hot water lasts forever. The TV is HUGE. Dynamic sound and range. The room is neat and extremely clean. Very spacious. She was more than accommodating to every single want and need. If you are ever SE Portland, staying with her makes you feel like you are in a welcome home, in a welcoming neighborhood. Especially in these trying times. If she’s not already a super host, she needs to be recognized as an ultra host. 10/10. 🙏🏾💪🏾💙

  • It was so great that we stayed again. Peep my original review. Everything still stands. 100/100 Airbnb, y’all need to hold her down with whatever she needs. She deserves nothing but the best. 💪🏾🙏🏾💙

  • Alyssa's place is a beautiful, spacious spotlessly clean basement remodel, with a fabulous, gigantic bathroom and shower, filtered water to drink, and a super comfortable and cozy bed-- plus an entire living room with giant TV to boot! The neighborhood is a bit out of the way, but-- on the plus side-- parking is abundant, and it is super quiet. Highly recommended!

Very private! ALL new in 2019. Comfortable Queen sized Murphy bed that converts to a sofa. Wifi and Smart TV/integrated Firestick w/access to Netflix but no cable TV service. Off street parking. Fenced side entrance to the right of the garage will lead you to your own private patio and entrance. Check-in at 1pm or later. No pets. No smoking except on the patio. Flat level entrance with no stairs (not ADA compliant). Motion sensor lights will light your way to the exterior room entrance.
The Room In Between In between what? In between having the interior finished and the exterior a work in progress. In between the Clackamas River and the Willamette River. Between Portland and Oregon City. Between River Road and McLoughlin Blvd – both of which will take you to Portland. The room was completely remodeled in 2019 to include an enclosed toilet, sink and shower. Efficient and cozy with a Queen sized Murphy bed that can be put up during the day for extra space. A built in sofa sits in front of the Murphy bed and a 23” x 43” coffee table with a lift top lid. Two large side by side cabinets have dual purposes. One has a bar for hanging clothes and space below to store the sofa cushions when the Murphy Bed is down. The other gives you a pull-out shoe storage shelf, and two large drawers for folded clothes. This cabinet also houses a small microwave, mini fridge, ice maker, coffee maker, dishes and flatware. This is not a full service kitchen.
In the room you will find a map and list of the closest restaurants for you to enjoy. There are plenty of choices up and down McLoughlin Blvd and the closest Starbucks is only .7 of a mile away. The Trolley Trail entrance is just one block away from the house. This 6-mile trail is a community treasure waiting for you to explore on foot or on your bike! It's a multi-use paved and gravel trail. From the trail you can turn right and go to the Stringfield Family Park - a lovely spot for a picnic. Ride your bike to the left to connect with Gladstone and downtown Milwaukie to enjoy the restaurants, Farmer's Markets, pubs, coffee shops, grocery stores, etc they have to offer.
  • Loree's place was perfect and had all the nice touches. Fluffy towels a comfy bed and a homey space. I always stay in Airbnb's and frankly I was glad with the pandemic happening that I wasn't in a busy hotel. I highly recommend Loree's home away from home!

    Lesley2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Loree's place. It was very clean and everything thing looked brand new. We were very impressed with the layout and furniture choice of her place. Everything was chosen with the intention of maximizing space. That can be seen through the Murphy bed, a collapsable dinner table, hideaway closet space, and even a sliding bathroom door. I never once felt cramped here! Fantastic stay. Definitely recommended to anyone stopping in the Milwaukie area!

    Desiree2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cute, cozy, and well outfitted! We very much enjoyed our stay.

    Kelsey2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Love this little place. Perfect, quiet, clean and just what I needed for a relaxing night out of town. Will definitely be back.

    A.J.2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Never actually got to meet Loree but the space says a lot. There is a lot of information in the space without crowding up the area. The furnishings are very nice and modern. It was a perfect cozy spot for us and we couldn't have found a better place for what we needed for the price. In a quiet neighborhood but close to a lot of stores when you need to pick up some things or food. Definitely would look for this spot if in the area again. Thanks again, Loree

    Bryan2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Loree was very communicative and has a very lovely clean space, which works well for 2 people. My partner and I stayed over Valentines for a quiet night in with no roommates, when we arrived she’d put a rose in the bathroom and left a couple little candies! I would certainly recommend. The drive is well worth it from Portland, the neighborhood is quiet and the drive in is pretty As well

  • Spotless, private, comfortable, private, quiet and cozy!

    Cindy2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay here. The space isn't large, but everything you need is available, including fridge, microwave, coffee, lots of drawer/closet space, etc. We really liked the keypad for checking in/out, and the location is quiet and right next to a nice walking path and a park. The host is also super nice and very communicative. Highly recommend!
