Pizza Place

““Exceptional” “designer pizzas” with “unique” topping combos are the signature of this “casual” Los Gatos parlor, where “attentive” servers also supply “excellent” New American small plates and “strong cocktails”; a front patio and “quirky” touches like a “penny-covered” wood oven help set the scene for “a good time.” The owner Ross is a bad -a$$!!”

“Chef David Kinch deserves his 3 Michelin Stars. This is my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world. I have eaten at many fancy places and this place is still the top of my list. They lost a lot of Japanese dishes that were collected in 15 years in their second fire due to arson. Yet, after their millionaire dollar renovation, they finally earned their third star for their innovative (expensive) tasting menu and world class wine pairing. If you are planning to make reservations, please take me. I will drop everything to go with you. ”

“Fun concept where the servers are dressed up as pilots and stewards/stewardesses. Everything comes in a flight of 3, the food, drinks, and desserts so you can try a bit of everything. Owner is a former SJ sharks player from Sweden!”

Meal Takeaway
“This is a hole in the wall place that is worth seeking out for an incredible sandwich. It's a local favorite for high-quality meats. The sandwiches are legendary. There's not a lot of seating, so I recommend taking the sandwich with you to a nearby park, or for a drive over to the beach in Santa Cruz. There is often a line for lunch, so consider calling in your order in advance. It seems chaotic in the tiny space, but they are actually pretty fast getting the customers what they ordered.”
