“The Milwaukee Clipper now sits in Lake Manistee as you travel North on 31. This is the ferry that took trains, cars, and people back and forth from Wisconsin to Michigan. It is historic and full of interesting details of the way things were years ago on the great lakes. It is easy to find because you see it from Cypress Way (US 31) right as you are leaving Manistee...So welcome yourself aboard and take the tour.”

“The Muskegon Heritage Museum is a wonderful collection of things Muskegon. The industries, pioneers and products that shaped what the Muskegon area is all about. The displays are well done and very interesting. A $ 5.00 donation is an inexpensive way to get a feel for the history of our area. If you have the time, The Bear highly recommends a stop at the Muskegon Heritage Museum!!”
