This home is a true gem and wonderfully upkept. Mike was responsive, reliable and did everything in his power to make sure I had a great stay. This house belongs in Architectural Digest. The highlights are the high ceilings, wrap around porch, amazing light and updated appliances in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, and Mike made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this property for anyone that is looking for a peaceful and fun mountain retreat.

Michael’s cabin is not only a beautiful home but a great getaway to get off the grid. Secluded and right next to the trails but not too far from town, we could not be happier with our stay. Michael was a great host who endeavored to ensure our stay was superb.

Michael's place was a perfect getaway into some quiet nature. I spent most of my time reading books by the fire and tromping around among the trees. At night, the sky was dark and starry and cold and perfect for sitting out on the porch with a hot chocolate.

Absolutely wonderful visit! House was beautiful, clean and cozy. Great amount of space for our family of four. Grounds were terrific - loved the fire pit and the backyard hike. And location was perfect - close enough to amenities like grocery stores etc but also to many state parks, sites, etc. Best of all Michael was so responsive to every question and need. Would absolutely stay again

Mike was a thoughtful host who was great at communication, providing recommendations, and the house was stocked with all the extra things you don’t think of when renting a house, the hospitality was terrific. From my experience with Airbnb and rentals, Mike goes above and beyond in “customer service” and making his guests feel welcome. The house is a beautiful getaway, just as pictured, in a remote (but not too remote) location, it’s very quiet and peaceful. The house very comfortable - spacious and modern amenities, yet has a beautiful rustic cabin vibe. Thanks mike for a great weekend!

Great place to get away from everything and great host

Great spot to get away from it all. Secluded and not too far away. The fire pit at night especially came in handy. Right off the river. We had a really good time. Very peaceful.

This airbnb was basically exactly as advertised! Cute, quaint house and the location was lovely. Amenities seemed to have been well thought out ahead of time by the hosts and were well accommodated for. Outhouse very clean though be aware there are some spiders, as one could expect with an outhouse.

Perfect tiny little place for a short get away. We were trying to breathe some fresh air away from the city in these weird times of pandemic and that was perfect. The weather was not great but we enjoyed playing the Baby Boomer edition of Trivial Pursuit!

Yocencia was such a lovely host! She responded extremely fast to our questions and made sure the house was stocked with anything we might need along with some cute touches. The views of the river were beautiful! We loved spending time outside by the firepit. If you’re thinking about staying here I recommend it! As soon as I saw this place I knew I would love it and my expectations were not let down at all!

Great little getaway spot and place to relax.

This place was such a nice farmhouse get away from the DC metro area. There were plenty of rolling hills around it and cows in the area that you could get close to. Our children really enjoyed this. We would recommend this farmhouse to anyone.

A picturesque location with a wonderfully warm farmhouse feel. JoAnn is an excellent host with quick responses to all questions.

My family and I can't say enough wonderful things about the Fox Haven Spring House and working with JoAnn. We were looking for a cozy winter venue to throw a small baby shower (20 guests) and also have family stay for the weekend (8 guests). I was really wanting a baby shower that would feel cozy, intimate, and rustic -- and boy did the Spring House fit the bill. The house is large with enough seating for many guests, but has such a historic charm and warmth. All the decorative touches feel so authentic, from the quilts on the beds to the wooden carvings on the mantle place. Also, if you are interested in having a large group (I believe the house allows 16 guests total overnight) the Spring House has about any dish/food prep item in the pantry that you could ever need. We came so over-prepared with utensils, dishes, cooking implements, etc. to make food for the baby shower and we used almost none of it. In the huge pantry, there are mugs, glasses, dishes, serving trays, skillets, utensils - even a warming tray for keeping things hot. The stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea pot, fridge all worked perfectly. We REALLY appreciated all this as we prepared to host a gathering. The house is in a peaceful, remote area of the countryside and there are friendly cows on the property as well. If you're looking for a country getaway, this is it. Frederick is close by and has adorable shops and restaurants to experience as well. Few things to note -- make sure you really want a country experience. There is Wi-fi, which worked great, but no TV (who wants that anyway?). You may see the occasional spider, but that didn't bother us. The fireplaces are only decorative, but there is a great wood stove that helped keep us warm. There is central heating, which is kept at 65 degrees during the winter. During our stay, we ran out of wood for the stove and JoAnn was great about getting Taylor over to replenish it. She also allowed us to turn up the heat by a few degrees, since it was a cold weekend. Working with JoAnn in general was wonderful - she was so quick to answer all my detailed questions (throwing a baby shower is stressful!) Also, keep in mind that your stay will help Fox Haven support their wonderful non-profit programs, which you can learn more about on the website. Overall, we had the best stay and my family all agreed that we're so grateful for the memories we made this weekend. We're already talking about a return trip! Thanks to JoAnn and Fox Haven for making our weekend and baby shower such a special memory.

A very laid back and wonderful scenery!

Tony's cabin was a great escape from the city in this quarenteen life. We drove out to get away from our apartment and couldn't have been happier. The pantry is fully stocked with extra cleaning supplies and the neighbors can't be seen from the property. The place is super close to the national park for some great early morning hiking and I really enjoyed grilling out in the evenings. The cell service is good enough that I was able to use my phone as a hot spot and take video calls for work during the day.

This air bnb is everything you would need or more. Beautiful setting in the woods, comfortable and cozy! Stylish and loaded with Everything you need! It’s well worth the price and just absolutely gorgeous!

Honestly, one of the best places I've stayed. Just a solid getaway at a cool cabin in the woods. Gave me so much nostalgia. Kids loved it as well.

Overall a great stay! Peaceful surrounding woods and once you're off the property, the farms are absolutely beautiful. The cabin had just about everything you could need for a comfortable stay. While there is no cable tv, there is a 4G wifi hotspot that we used to stream tv but it was a little difficult. The surrounding Catoctin hiking trails were beautiful, and if you feel like venturing out a little, the South Mountain State Park trails have even better views. Tony was very attentive and answered all of my questions.

Beautiful cabin! Clean and comfortable. We had a great weekend with our kids and dogs. Our daughter loved playing outside and exploring the woods and it was wonderful to have a weekend out of the city.

Great getaway! You feel like you're far away from the hustle and bustle but still actually close to places in case you need something!

Great log cabin in the woods! My husband and I enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds, and hearing the cows moo from down the road.. so peaceful! We took full advantage of the grill and firepit. Our dogs also had a blast with all of the space to explore! The fort in the backyard is so cool.

After extending our stay several times, we began to think of this sweet cabin in the woods as a second home and were so sad to leave. My daughter and I hung out and plated in the woods behind the cabin almost every day, and the dogs were in heaven every second we were there. Hiking at Catoctin Mountain Park on my birthday was amazing, and it was so good to be outside in nature while maintaining social distancing.

Pros: Amazing location, easy check-in, cute space, comfortable bed, very clean, private entry, parking space, everything you could want is within walking distance. Cons: It is a renovated basement, so you can hear noises from the rest of the house. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and would stay here again.

You can't beat the location in the middle of downtown Frederick. The space is great. Very convenient and the hosts were awesome. Communication is wonderful and quick. The whole thing made my work stay very relaxing.

This is a perfect spot from which to explore downtown Frederick. Very clean and comfy apartment with everything you need and Julia was very good with instructions and local tips. Being a basement unit, there is some noise from above but not too bad. Garbage trucks in the morning are another issue... That said, we still want to go there again for a longer stay next time and explore more of Frederick’s rich history.

Glen & Julia were amazing! The location was perfect, everything is within walking distance of the two main streets in downtown Frederick. Their place is spotless and extremely comfortable. Any question I had they responded extremely quickly, and also had nice touches around the suite to help guide you to some cool places in Frederick. I honestly could go on and on about how hospitable Glen & Julia were! A friend of mine lives in Frederick, and this will always be my air b&b when I come to visit!

The Jewel Vinsota Artist's Guesthouse is a special place. We have traveled to many Airbnbs over the past 4 years and this is truly one to remember. Just the getaway we needed to unwind and reconnect with nature! This would be the perfect spot to set up a canvass, work on your novel, or enjoy a quiet retreat. The house is very comfortable with lots of personal touches. We cooked and ate all our meals in and had no trouble thanks to the well-stocked kitchen. The shower runs hot with great water pressure and the wifi is strong. The trail on the property is fun to explore with lots of spots to sit, relax, and reflect.

This is an amazing place. We wished we'd planned to stay longer, but we will be back! It's hard to describe the blend of enchanting strangeness and comforting homey-ness they've managed to create within this space. We've probably stayed in a dozen cabin-y get-a-ways in easy driving distance from DC/Bmore, and this is hands-down the best experience we've had yet.

Dana’s place was perfect! The house was beautiful the beds were comfortable and the wonderful little touches and amenities (like mouth wash and tips!) were very appreciated. My friends and I were so pleased and wished we could stay longer.

I stayed at this place on a girls' weekend and it was perfect. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, really clean, big table to share meals, pleasant space, easy to get to the main part of town. We would definitely stay here again - even with kids and partners along.

This was our third stay; it’s become our go-to spot when we want a quick getaway from DC. It is on a quiet street and is a short drive to Harpers Ferry. We enjoy taking our dog to the trails and then enjoying some craft beer at Harpers Ferry Brewing — a great dog-friendly brewery with beautiful, panoramic views. Highly recommend!

Quaint and perfect for anyone not planning to spend tons of time at the AirBNB. It was clean, had all the amenities for coffee and washing up. It was exactly what I needed, a place to relax after a long day out.

This is my second time this year staying at Nancy's place. It was a clean, welcoming and quiet. She was kind enough to allow my father and I to both bring our dogs. It was such a nice location to reach a lot of little towns and explore Antietam. We love the feeling of stepping back in time in Burkittsville. Getting the key is super easy with the lock box on the door. The extra cot that she put in the room was a full size bed and incredibly comfortable. Way more than I was expecting! There are towels for the dogs. Lots of suggestions for things to do around town. And tons of little touches that just make it feel like home. Nancy left us extra bottled water since there was something going on with the plumbing which we never even noticed. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I was in town for one night doing some hiking on the A.T. Nikki's place was great. It's in a great, safe neighborhood and nearby Middletown is a quaint small town. The house is very nice and check in was a breeze.

So I bought my friend a stay at Justin's place for his birthday and he had a great time. He was Justin's first Airbnb guest so there were a few details that needed to be ironed out. That being said, the space is nicely appointed and very clean. Also a very good value considering you have your own private mini apartment. I'm sure that future guests will benefit from the suggestions we left with Justin. A strong recommendation for Justin's place.

BRING BOOTS. The land around the cabin is somewhat marshy and at all times during our trip was waterlogged. Do not wear shoes you do not intend to get muddy or wet here. Otherwise the cabin was just as described, clean, and very peaceful. There is a road right next to the cabin that you do hear occasional traffic from, and there were some shards of glass in different spots (probably not to the knowledge of the owner who was nothing but helpful and kind, but still), so with those two details we weren't completely removed from civilization as desired, but the scenery was lovely and relaxing nonetheless. A couple restaurants were open and offering pickup within 15 minutes of the cabin, and Weis market nearby delivered some groceries for the ultimate in quarantine ease.

Mark's place was excellent. The place was cleaned thoroughly and our boy's loved running around the yard, trip trapping across the bridge, talking to Lucy, and throwing rocks in the creek. It was a great experience.

This place was a perfect little getaway. It’s charm and authenticity make it a special destination location. The two goats that inhabit the property give it that extra unforgettable touch. We loved every second of our stay, would recommend this spot for anyone, and we’d love to come back soon. 5 stars on everything.

Perfect place to lay my head in the middle of a long road trip. Cozy, comfy bed with flannel sheets and the shower has fantastic water pressure. I didn’t stay long, but enjoyed it while I was there!

Excellent location- easy to get on highway and head north to nearby Whitetail Mountain Resort! Nice neighborhood- this is a great place to stay and get a good night sleep- bed is super comfortable. Fridge and coffee maker so u will be all set! Bathroom is perfect. Reasonable price- honestly you can’t go wrong!

House has everything you could need while still being a cozy cabin. My gf and I were just looking for a weekend to get away and this place was perfect. Plenty of great hiking spots right out the back door and the property provides plenty of privacy with an incredible view especially when watching the sunset!

Little Lodge is a perfect weekend escape. We’ve been twice and will keep coming back. Hiking, quiet and cozy nights by the fire, quaint dinners in Boonsboro or Shepherdstown. Perfect!

Our family had such a fun and memorable winter visit to this lovely cabin that we are sure to come again. It was cozy, clean, private and had everything we needed. The outdoor access on the property was wonderful, as was the chance to chop our own firewood for the wood stove. We even got to watch the game on the big TV. Our two boys loved sleeping in the cozy loft. If you have very little kids, you’ll want to be wary of the steep steps up to the loft. There were stink bugs and lady bugs (dead and alive) all around, but we were in a rustic cabin in the mountains, so it didn’t bother us a bit. We loved the house so much that we never left to explore all the surrounding attractions, so we’ll save that for next time. The host was so responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

For a quiet retreat on a quiet road, this is a wonderful offering. You have a separate entrance on the lower level, and your room is ready with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a nice selection of quick breakfast items. I enjoyed my short stay at Beth's place.

Everything was so very lovely! Such a peaceful, beautiful, cozy place. The decor details and structure itself were like something straight out of a better homes and gardens magazine or Magnolia decorating show. Absolutely loved the gas woodstove, the plush and comfortable bed mattress, the linens soft as butter, fluffy towels, gorgeous beams and loft, and all of the cute decorative touches. Everything we needed was provided, and so close to the town center with a few really great restaurants and pretty golf course. Thank you again!

The cabin is a gem. Its in a great location, we enjoyed the quiet of Middletown, hikes, and Frederick as well! The cabin was amazing, it was lovely and cozy, we spend a lot of time inside just enjoying the cozy cabin with the thoughtful touches everywhere. It was so relaxing and wonderful.

This is a unique stay with a feel of the past. Despite our stay in February, we were cozy with the gas stove and tons of blankets! Very clean, good bathroom, nice space overall. In a neighborhood, but you can pretend it’s more remote from the interior, and it’s close to lots of restaurants and shops/groceries. My family enjoyed the feel of being in an historic space for an overnight. We used the insta bed to sleep all of us, and that was quite easy. Fun stay in the past!

Very nice place to stay, the entire basement is yours and provides a nice cozy retreat in a quiet neighborhood. And the Host's Christian politeness was certainly an added bonus!

Lawrence was great at communicating, and it was a great place to stay. Lawrence and his wife are very sweet, and even invited us to have coffee and cookies with them! They gave us great recommendations on where to hike too.

Lawrence's place was quite convenient to explore from and offered homelike amenities for us to recharge at the end of the day. We would come back in a heartbeat.

This was my 2nd stay here and I’m still impressed. They have added a door to privatize the bedroom and living room even more than they were before and it’s a great addition.

If your are fortunate to stay with Elisa, you will forget everything you know about AirBnB's.. The craftsman space was inspirational. The attention to detail was astounding. The Easter breakfast was 100% gourmet. We loved the spot and the amazing architecture that is her home. We cooked burgers on the grill and the fire in the fire pit was so inspiring. We saw stars we hadn't seen in years. We wish her much success. She has raised our expectations for Airbnb's. We will be back. Peace.

Such a beautiful place for a weekend getaway.

This guest suite was perfect for my husband, our two grown children, and me. The two beds are comfy with great pillows and linens. The heated tile floors are amazing. We were served a delicious egg quiche with fresh fruit, bacon, juice and amazing cranberry cookies. There were water bottles and crunchy snacks provided. The towels are plentiful and of nice quality. No complaints here!

The suite was immaculate and great for your 2 bigger dogs. The dog beds were a very sweet touch and our dogs loved the dog run! Our stay was very quick, but everything about the suite was great and I would recommend this stay to anyone!

We had a great experience staying at Ted & Cindy's! It's a perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Frederick area and/or go hiking/mountain biking. Ted & Cindy are very friendly people (as is their dog!), and we couldn't recommend this stay enough.

What a great place - perfect for a private stay - it is like having your own house - even though it is attached to house it is separated by garage so you are completely separate and have kitchenette/ living room bedroom and bathroom. The host are lovely and just step away if needed but completely separate Perfect for couple or single

Ted & Cindy’s place is located at the base of the Frederick watershed in beautiful Thurmont Maryland. Downtown / Historic Frederick is only a short drive east, and several awesome state parks are a short drive to the west. The place was squeaky clean, Ted was very accommodating and parking was a breeze.

Great place for a long stay. We were there three weeks. Lovely backyard and patio to enjoy. A lot of amenities. Very cozy. Easy to get into state/national parks or downtown Frederick.

Mary Margaret and Chris were wonderful hosts and took great care of me and my cat! We were sad to leave. Their place had everything that we needed and I loved being close to Gambrill State Park to recover on my days off from my job as a travel nurse.

Mary Margaret was very helpful and responded to questions within minutes. She took the time to give us tips on the area and was very friendly. We felt well attended to, but also felt like we had plenty of privacy and space. The location is quiet but within a few minutes drive to the heart of Frederick with plenty of restaurants and amenities very nearby. The guest suite is cozy and filled with books, board games, and other comforts that made it feel relaxing and inviting. We would definitely return again!

Felsengarten is a unique and nice space. It’s very private and the hosts leave lots of nice touches to enjoy. I was traveling with a 5 year old and 2 dogs and it worked out beautifully. I would highly recommend this location.

Staying at taste of Jamaica with Amos and his family was one of the best experiences one can have. From the very first day, they invited me to eat dinner with them. I had a delicious traditional Jamaican dinner and many other dinners afterwards. They made me feel extremely welcome with their warm hospitality. I felt like I was part of their family. If you are hesitating, don't! Just book it now and you will not regret a thing.

It was a good experience. The bed was so comfortable and I slept like a baby. The house is very convenient to the interstate. I would recommend Amos’s place to anyone. Again thanks for allowing me to be in your home.

Amos’s home is perfect for the value and opportunity for someone new to town. Was in Hagerstown for the Maryland International Film Festival and his home was great. Easy check-in and open communication for returns. He has a wonderful family which makes you feel like home... topped with a beautiful home where it’s a pleasure to visit. If I’m ever in Hagerstown I’ll visit again. You won’t find a better home for the price in this area.

A petite studio perfect for one or a loving two in a SUPER downtown location. So perfect for my Hood College weekend classes that I've already booked it for my next two trips! Parking in the ramp garage across the street was safe and easy, Starbucks is around the corner, and its just one block from Weinburg center.

I had an amazing stay in the blue cottage. The cottage is surrounded by nature, totally private. Lots of fountains and sitting areas with fire pits around the property, a swing, horses and a lovely barncat. You get a great view of the sunrise from the top of the driveway, and right around the corner on Cherry Ln is a spectacular sunset view. Close to Frederick. The cottage itself is stylish, had a fully stocked fridge, espresso maker, and chocolates. It was overall spectacular. I will be back!

The cottage was absolutely amazing. Because of previous guest reviews, we had high expectations, and these expectations were definitely reached! The cottage is tucked away among trees, along with beautiful landscaping and a wonderful wooden walkway lit by colored lights. It was very private and just what my husband and I were looking for. It felt like a little oasis of our own!! Huge windows overlook a glistening trickling stream, and the sun sheds beautiful light into the room in the morning. The room itself is not only wonderfully and tastefully decorated, but extremely clean and well-stocked with everything from towels to a fridge full of every beverage you can think of (including half-and-half for morning coffee!). The shower felt quite luxurious with a fancy shower head and nice soaps, as well! My husband and I also loved sipping on the DELICIOUS coffee from the fanciest coffee machine I've ever seen while rocking on the bench out on the porch overlooking the previously-mentioned landscaping and bright green surrounding trees. 5-second version: Extremely private, amazing coffee, beautifully decorated, wonderful hosts; Stay at this cottage!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING hospitality and retreat!!! I want to share this adorable getaway with all my friends, yet selfishly keep a secret for ourselves, lol. My boyfriend and I will probably turn into frequent guests. All of the small touches did not go over looked. The Ghiradelli chocolate that I devoured is my favorite (How did they know?). I felt like sleeping beauty on the comfortable bed and linens. The masks were perfect for applying to avoid the beaming morning sun. Yet the views were so tranquil and serene. I meditated by the stream. Mark was gracious enough to let me borrow his yoga mat. Entering the cottage with spa like music was a refreshing and invited a tranquil energy flow. We appreciated all of the recommendations for local bars and restaurants. It rained hard the entire weekend and Mark even offered to dry our clothes for us in his personal dryer. My boyfriend greatly appreciated the gifted beer and fresh zucchini from your garden! I could on but i want you to have your own amazing experience. Wonderful stay in this adorable cottage. Mark was very attentive, checking in frequently enough to see if we were OK but also letting us have our privacy. The cottage itself is very cute, well decorated, with an amazing view of the woods. Amazing coffee machine! Was great meeting the dog & seeing the horses on the property. I stayed at Honeysuckle cottage for an overnight getaway with 2 college girlfriends. It’s tucked away in a gorgeous little spot about 15 minutes from Downtown Frederick, which allowed us both easy access to great restaurants and feeling a million miles away from reality. The cottage was immaculate and beautifully furnished. We were obsessed with every detail, from the rustic light fixtures to the fragrant honeysuckle hand soap. Mark and Kim were great hosts and quickly responded to questions and suggestions for local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, even offering to arrange a private tasting with an up and coming neighborhood brewer. We spent our afternoon at Big Cork winery, a scenic 25 minute drive away, at their recommendation. It was just what we were looking for. Couldn’t recommend this experience more highly!

Heather's place is becoming my home away from home. This is my second stay with her, with Frederick being half way between my mom and my dad's houses. It's affordable and allows me to have some freedom between family visits. Very happy with the experience.

Very professionally run airbnb, it is clean, quiet, and mellow. This place is easy to recommend without any reservations. It is exactly what you expect/want.

Look no further! If you're looking for a genuine and kind host, quiet neighborhood that is close to major highways, and a comfortable and homey stay, this is it. Do not be quick to look elsewhere, if you're hesitant because of a dog or because this is a home with multiple listings. Heather does a great job keeping the friendly dog contained and content. Additionally, do not be intimidated by her highly detailed list of house rules. I greatly appreciated this because it assisted in knowing what to expect. More importantly, with this being a multiple listing home, it was reassuring to know that other guest were expected to follow the same rules. During my stay, Heather accommodated my requests and last minute scheduling changes. She is also a wealth of knowledge about the area while giving you privacy. Greatly appreciate her hospitality and would be happy to stay here again!

Yocencia’s place is exactly as described. She was very fast to communicate. My girlfriend and I went for a couple days. The remodeled part seems very modern and the old part is quite charming. The road out front is very infrequently travelled, the river and birds provide the background noise. The HVAC was quiet, the kitchen was well equipped, the grill is nicer than mine, as is the bedroom setup. The location was so interesting, Hawk lived in the yard, short drive to canal. The ground patio has great furniture. We will plan to go back. Glad to find this place.

This place is AWESOME! If you like history, you can’t beat it. It’s essentially on the Civil War trail. There is a higher-end Amazon Echo that I used via bluetooth. While the wifi is not strong, I was able to connect to my work system (Sharepoint) and conduct video meetings (Microsoft Teams). Excellent finishing touches (colonial art, nice lotions, nice leather furniture).

This is a lovely little house right on the river. I had a great time staying here and would certainly recommend to anyone.

I took my sons (11 and 7) here for a boys' night while my wife was on a volunteer trip. We had a fantastic time. The house was clean and cozy--perfect for a rainy night--and the boys and I were really intrigued by the historical aspect. Even in the early March weather, the scenery was beautiful, and we couldn't resist taking a walk along the river and visiting the local historical sites. We capped off the visit with a great breakfast at Betty's Restaurant in Sheperdstown. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the hosts were communicative. We'll definitely try to come back for a weekend away.

The wifi did not stream videos and made it very difficult to video chat which is how I do a lot of my work. Other than that everything else was close to perfect.

What a beautiful stay we had at the cozy stone house!! My husband and I spent the weekend snuggled up on the couches and explored all the little ins and outs of the home. So much thought went into making sure the guests have everything. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need - utensils, dishes, condiments. The bed was so comfortable and cozy with a hugeee closet in the bedroom! And the bathroom was fully stocked too! You have to visit nearby shephardstown. Its the cutest little town with great stores and even better coffee! It was a little chilly out but the view was peaceful and serene and we enjoyed spending time overlooking the potomac river. Highly recommend this perfect little house for your next getaway!!

Great place for a getaway. Looking for a place for enjoying nature and being socially distant, the Knott cabin was wonderful. From the beautiful cabin, touchful thoughts like shower amenities, coffee station and waffle maker. To the Amazon echo and great layout, we loved staying at the cabin. BBQ's nightly, and reading on the deck, it was a great rental. The local area is also very nice. From biking the C&O, exploring Antietam, great hikes in Loudon Heights, great food in Sheperdstown, we didn't feel remote or isolated at all.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lynn and Christians! Exactly as advertised and extremely clean! Definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a nice place off the beaten path.

Wonderful cabin, rustic on the outside, modern on the inside. Very comfortable. Fire pit on the back patio was a very relaxing each evening. We spent lots of time touring the local civil war sites. Antietam, Shepherdstown, etc. great location for that. We stayed in the middle of the coronavirus shutdown., so were not able to take advantage of the surrounding towns. Easy walk (5 minutes on a paved road) to the Potomac River. A great place to put a kayak in the water if you bring one. Stairs up to the loft are not for someone that has trouble climbing stairs. We definitely plan to come back.

Absolutely great place to kick-back and relax! Located close enough to a few towns and other attractions if you want something to do but secluded enough to really get away from the craziness of life. Clean and updated interior that creates comfortable lodging. Great hosts as well, providing plenty of amenities and a plethora of information about the local area and the home. Definitely looking forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic location and incredibly well-appointed. Full of so many fun activities - games, puzzles, a great CD collection, reading materials. Not to mention a cute downtown, and beautiful scenery. One word of caution to taller guests that the bedroom loft has a bit of a low ceiling. Everything else was perfect!!
