“There is usually something wonderful playing, from theatre to music genres , often classical. Nelson has a LOT of talent! We are also on the Canadian tour circuit for funded ballets, top notch musicians WHO RECEIVE CANADIAN TOURING GRANTS to perform in smaller towns. Lucky us! This puts Nelson on the MAP!”

“Beautiful spot to check out in the winter, amazing cross country skiing tracks around. If you brought your skates, you can skate on this gorgeous frozen-over lake... I believe you can rent skates at Mallards Sports in town as well. If you want to go skating outside but don't want to go out to Cottonwood, also check out Lions Park just up the hill in Nelson- they also have an outdoor rink there. ”
