  • Kandise was such a amazing host! The property is in a great location and close for a stroll on Magazine St. My visit was at the time of the Coronoavirus outbreak. Kandise was very accomodating in allowing us to stay after the checkout time to accomodate my flight time. She responds very quickly to any inquiries about the area or the property. I will definitely consider this property again for future visits!

My place is close to Superdome, French quarter, world war II museum and 2 blocks from the St. Charles street car. Only blocks away from St. Charles Mardi Gras parade route. You’ll love my place because of it's location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) A lot of things to do for everyone including families with children. House is located in a safe neighborhood with a lot of new construction.
Shotgun style duplex with 2 private bedrooms. Full kitchen and living room. This house is a small 650sq ft and accommodates up to 4 people (2 per bedroom). Each bedroom has a full size bed 1 bathroom with tub/shower. The house has AC window units in both bedrooms and in the living room. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and in the living room with a floor fan in the kitchen for those that like it cool. House has security cameras in the front entry way and in the back yard. Plenty of free street parking directly in-front of the house. My house is plain and simple but the best part is the location. Don’t be fooled by the outer appearances. The house is situated in a traditional New Orleans neighborhood. Most of my neighbors enjoy sitting on the front porch talking to other neighbors. Very friendly and safe area with a lot of history. Roughly a 20min walk to downtown or 2 min car ride. Blocks away from St Charles street trolley. Great food in the neighborhood open 24 hours Best thing, location, location, location for Mardi Gras and 2 blocks from the St .Andrew trolley stop. Less then 2 blocks away from the best parade route in town. Many restaurants, bars and entertainment, but on a quiet street. Neighborhood is currently going through a complete make over. More restaurants, new grocery store and a lot of culture. A car is not needed. Must be at least 25 yrs old to book
Neighborhood is within walking distance to local restaurants and bars. 24hr Walgreens is only 3 blocks away. For any emergency last minute things. House is located in the up-an-coming central city. A lot of new construction. New restaurants, revival of cultural art centers and all with in a few blocks. Super friendly neighbors and a lot to do. Trolly stop cafe is a simple dinner that is located at the end of the block. Open 24hrs a day. The neighbor is going through a lot of renovations and there is a lot to do in the surrounding area
  • Snug little place about 30 minutes walk from the French quarter, aside from a non functional oven we had a restful stay, very quiet.

  • Kay’s place was perfect for two nights in New Orleans. The location was great, being close to the street car made it very convenient. The street was quiet and safe. I look forward to coming back to the City and will try to stay at Kay’s place when I do!

    Chris2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Right by a streetcar stop, so very convenient. Kay was really nice to greet us and get us settled. Definitely recommend!

    Amanda2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Kay’s was the perfect choice. There happened to be a little issue with something and Kay came over right away to take care of it and offer us some great suggestions to see New Orleans. She’s so nice and warming. A little note about the place: At first it does feel like you’re in a “sketchy” neighborhood (whatever that means), but it’s actually pretty safe and we had no issues at all.

    Jake2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this home was outstanding. Lots of restaurants in the area. 2 blocks away from the St Charles trolly. Kay is a wonderful host. The beds were so comfortable we both slept in late every am.

    Olivia2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Kay was a great host! The house was great with a great price. It’s close to everything. I would definitely come back.

    Shelly2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Kay was a great host, quick to respond to any messages and very hospitable. Great area to stay in and still be able to walk/cab/trolley around town. Clean and comfortable and with everything one would want out of short stay.

Why rent a room when you can rent a tiny house for your trip to New Orleans. This 650 sq ft home is just steps away from the French Quarter. Everything from Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, streetcar, bikeshare, and the Central Business District are all just a short stroll away. Private entrance through luscious garden. Perfect for a couple or a couple of friends. Cleaning fee is included in nightly rate. (City License: 18STR-15360; Operator License: 19OSTR-27023)
***Parties over 2 persons will not be considered and will be turned away upon arrival. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property.*** Our guesthouse is located in the rear of our property. Estimated to have been built in 1837 (the same date as the main house), this space has gone through a total transformation. A mix of modern and old New Orleans bundled into a small house. There are 8 sets of French doors, and 4 sets of casement windows, allowing for the space to be drenched in natural light. When the weather is nice and a cool breeze is blowing, there is nothing better than opening all the doors and windows so you can take in all the sounds the neighborhood has to offer. Downstairs is an open living room and kitchen area with a complete 4 piece kitchen suite (full sized fridge stocked with bottled water and a Keurig with coffee), and a moveable island. There is also a flat screen TV with DVR, HBO, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Netflix and Prime are already logged in for you to use. A spiral staircase leads you upstairs where there is a king sized bed, walk-in closet, a spacious bathroom, and 12 foot ceilings with exposed beams. Want to lounge outside? Hang out in the shared courtyard or if you prefer privacy there is a private patio behind the guesthouse. Parties over 2 persons will not be considered (city law) and will be turned away upon arrival. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. We live on the property and make a point of meeting all guests at check-in. Sneaking extra guests onto the property is not a possibility. Any attempt to do so will result in a cancellation of the reservation. Parking is street parking which is unrestricted and free to all. Cleaning fee is included in the nightly rate so there is no extra hidden fees when staying with us. (City License: 18STR-15360; 19OSTR-27023)
The Treme is a wonderful and unique neighborhood unlike any other in the United States. St. Augustine Church is on the corner, which leads to many Jazz Funerals and Second Lines. The church also has an amazing Sunday Mass that is open to the public. As a younger nephew noted, "It's not really Sunday Mass, it's a concert!" Mardi Gras Indians regularly wander the neighborhood, as well as brass bands, musicians, and a pair of cowboys who are always walking their llamas, Shetland ponies, and goats. There is always something going on and the people in the neighborhood are friendly and talkative. You can learn just as much about New Orleans from the folks on the street in the Treme as you could with a tour guide charging you an arm and a leg to walk around the Quarter.
  • One of the best bnb’s I’ve stayed at! The guesthouse is so unique, I loved everything about it. It’s also the perfect location if you’re looking to walk everywhere. Great tips and recommendations from the hosts. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • Bret was an amazing host! Super nice and just a genuine guy. He was so easy to talk to and warm welcoming. Bret was very helpful with our stay and his place was beautiful, we loved his outside patio!

  • Bret was a great host through AirBnB and an even better ambassador for New Orleans and Louisiana. He was thoughtful in his communication before our trip and continued his guidance after we arrived. The space in the historic home is modern yet the character remains. Cool neighborhood just a few steps from the French Quarter. Bret was a fabulous host for my wife and me and I’d suggest him to any of our friends.

    Sean2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • STAY HERE!!!!! Cant say enough great things about this place but I will try: Bret is an amazing host with great tips and local spots to visit, beautiful unique space that is sparking clean with all the amenities you might need, and a great location just right near all the action but far enough at night to get a good nights sleep. We will definitely stay here again no questions asked!

    Rhonda2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very friendly, accommodating host offers a reasonably priced, clean, stylish guest house with a warm, inviting ambiance. We were very happy with our experience!

    Brian2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • My fiance and I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Bret's guest house. It was our first time in New Orleans and the location was hard to beat. Being only a block off the French Quarter, it was very walkable to many attractions and bars/restaurants. The unit itself was very clean and spacious and if you don't mind walking up a tight spiral staircase then you'll be happy with your stay!

  • My girlfriend and I made a last minute decision to drive through the night instead of staying the in New Orleans due to COVID-19. Certainly didn’t make it easy on Cody & Leo but they both helped so much and handled the situation so well even with the little time we gave them. For that we are very grateful, and we were able to receive a full refund. Amazing people and truly Superhosts! If you travel to New Orleans you have to check out Cody & Leo at the beautiful Casita Gentilly.

2 large private rooms (parlor and bedroom) and full bath in a great location, with cafe & coffee shops nearby. The bedroom has a king size bed, a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The space has your own private locked entrance and is just off my front porch, which is a great spot to have your morning coffee or tea. Easy street parking, too. Also, if traveling w pet need to approve with me and there is a $20 fee for pets (payable at check in).
The marigny is the greatest neighborhood and this space is all yours--its your own oasis in the front of my house w own entry. Easy and close (usually just in front of house) street parking. You can walk to the French quarter, frenchmen st., or just enjoy all the marigny has to offer. I have cable, wi-fi, central ac & am willing to consider pets. Note: I have 2 dogs & 2 cats that are very friendly, but they stay in my living space. This is a great place to stay for an authentic new Orleans experience in one of usa's best neighborhoods (look it up, it's true).
  • Great spot, great host!

  • My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at Kerrie’s. It was very clean and had a lot of charm. The neighborhood and the place definitely had the NOLA atmosphere we were looking for. This area of town was calm so was a big plus to leave noisy Bourbon St. and return back to a quiet home where we could get uninterrupted sleep. If you plan on making a trip to New Orleans I definitely suggest this to be your first choice.

  • Great location and a nice space on a lovely street.

    Jeannie (And Skate)2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is in the perfect location for exploring New Orleans - there are quaint shops and whatnot in the neighborhood, and it's walking distance from the French Quarter (and a safe walk at that, especially compared to other places on the outskirts of the French Quarter). Kerrie is great, responsive, and a friendly host. Oh, and the cat is nice (but not intrusive) too.

    Alexander2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Kerrie’s place was perfectly located. The bed is super comfy. You feel like you’re part of the neighborhood. Kerries response rate is super quick and easy to communicate with.

There is room to park in front of 2636 Saint Ann on the street next to the orange cone, (one side of a duplex house) or you could park cross street if there is not much traffic.
The neighborhood is safe, but still, it is in the process of recovering since hurricane Katrina. My house is near to Gas Station, Whole Food Market, Transportation- Canal St (Streetcar $1.25), City Park, NOMA, Louis Amstrong Park, Willie Mae's Restaurant, Dooky Chase Restaurant. In addition to getting Bourbon St, French Quarter, French Market, or Lake view, you can walk on the greenway (2 blocks from the house ) that will take 20-25 minutes from the house, or you can take an Uber.

  • There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful this airbnb is, from the hospitality of the hosts to the wonderful location to the clean, comfy, and stylish living space. We were less than a 5 minute walk from a bus stop, near tons of amazing restaurants, and enjoyed a nice, peaceful and lovely stay. I don't want to come back to New Orleans if I can't stay at Sisi and Fernando's loft!

The room came with all of the amenities (shampoo, body wash, lotion, etc) and it was perfect for our short but sweet one night stay! Sisi and Fernando were great hosts and they were very communicative upon checking in and during check out. :]

Bywater is NOLA's most sought after hip and historic neighborhood that offers its own restaurants, bars, riverfront park, creative neighbors! It provides a respite from the French Quarter and Frenchman Street that are both less than 1 mile away.
  • What a wonderful stay! I visited New Orleans right when the city started to re-open after COVID-19. The French Quarter had been thoroughly scrubbed and pest free. I wanted to "see" New Orleans- not experience it. This was the ideal time to do so. The location was a tranquil 1.5 mile walk along the Crescent Park to get to the French Quarter. There were a couple bridges. If you have issues with stairs, then this might not be an option. One of the bridges does have an elevator. The lodging was tastefully decorated. Suzanna provided everything necessary. She even had sunscreen! The bed was super soft; and it included a fully stocked kitchen. The Bywater neighborhood was an eclectic artsy area. Think: Modern Arts + Inner City + Historic buildings being slowly rehabbed + Overgrown gardens. The Airbnb was near a couple parks. And restaurants, pubs, mini-marts, BBQ, and a bakery were all within walking distance. Most of the establishments were closed yet when I visited. However, it did not deter my stay. I have a rule of thumb when I travel solo - in my dusk. Again, it was a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

  • The house is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed it so much! The neighborhood is artsy and feels very safe. Suzanna was so sweet. We really enjoyed our stay

    Matt2020-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanna's place was a dream. It's full of character and beautifully decorated. Check in was super easy and location was amazing. I genuinely wished we could have stayed longer, I could honestly live and die there happily. The kitchen and little bar cart was my favorite. Suzanna communicated with me and was very helpful. She has little books about the neighborhood and even a little hangover kit on the counter. We absolutely loved it.

    Grace2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in a great location! Host is very personable and accommodating. Would stay here again for sure!

    Brennen2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The space was excellent, the recommendations were right on point and Suzanna was an attentive and communicative host. The location of the space was great. We were able to experience some of the local culture while still enjoy some of the more mainstream tourist attractions New Orleans has to offer. One of the best bookings I’ve experienced this far!

    Gabriel2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Place was great and Suzanna was very attentive. We like this neighborhood and New Orleans in general for its architectural charm but you often have to accept some deficiencies in comfort and functionality. Not the case with this property. Would recommend.

    John2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanna is a great host!

    Cara2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! The host was very accommodating with check in/out and readily available and willing to help. The place was SO cute, felt very safe, and was in a good location. Would definitely recommend!

Quaint, quiet Gentilly where all the neighbors know each other and greet guests with a smile. Perfect location for reaching anywhere in the city by car in no more than 15 minutes or public transportation. There is a Walgreens as well as a gas station less than 3 blocks away for conveniences. For those staying for special occasions, there is a flower shop on Elysian Fields 4 blocks away! *Please note the location is approximately 2.5 Miles from the French Quarter and, though a nearby bus line will take you straight there, it is generally not a walkable distance to the French Quarter*
  • We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect, and our dogs loved the side yard to play. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and not more than a $15 Lyft ride to any major attraction. Only downside is we were disappointed finding out it wasn't the entire house as labelled and pictured . It is a detached garage that has it's own entrance, but it is also shared with another room (laundry room?) used by the owner of the house. We would probably stay again because of the location and cleanliness, but we would've appreciated a more private space as advertised.

    Kate2020-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Mike, your place was just awesome. In the perfect place close to stores, and not far from the French quarter. The studio was very clean, nice neat and simple the way we wanted it. And also the neighborhood was just perfect peaceful vibrant and just a comfortable area to be in..........would most definitely come back to this spot when we return

    Gary2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • The check-in was super easy and it was a short drive to the French quarter and Bywater areas. The roads were a little bumpy around the area. Mike’s place was comfortable and was good value for money. Would certainly recommend this place to stay at while you’re visiting NOLA!

  • Omgoooosh. I only have one regret: that my stay was not longer! Lindsay has a great place and system set up! The abode is sooooo quaint and “New Orleansy!” It is close to EVERYTHING and the trolley is not even a block away. There food and shopping in walking distances. I stayed with my fur baby and he was quite happy, as well. Enjoy‼️

    Randa2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great house, so close to streetcar. Lindsay does her best to be sure you enjoy your stay. I hope to return one day and sit on her lovely porch.

  • Our stay at the Okra Inn was very pleasant ! Lindsay has a binder of local tips that we enjoyed looking at (we tried the first dinner restaurant she recommended, which was amazing!). The space was also very clean, and her response times were speedy. She was a generous host, and we'd love to go back!

Bedroom is clean, comfortable, so is the bathroom and all the shared spaces. Will def return whenever I’m back in the area. Highly Recommended!

This Uptown Freret/Milan unit is a private studio (NO shared space with rest of home) w private entrance & parking. Perfect for a single/couple who want to experience one of the city's neighborhoods. This residential neighborhood is racially & economically diverse. 10 minute walk to St. Charles Avenue streetcar line. $10/10 minute Uber to downtown/French Quarter. Limit 2 guests. Unit does not have full kitchen; air controlled by owner who lives in main part of house. Dogs allowed & on premises
Unit includes one queen bed, smart tv, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and iron (no full kitchen). Owner is onsite and easy to reach. AC/heat is one unit controlled by owner who can usually deal with requests; however, New Orleans is hot and humid, so the house is generally kept cool. Neighborhood is close to the universities and a quick car ride to almost anywhere in the city. Maximum capacity is two adults (plus child). *As a dog owner myself, I do apologize for this, but I have had several instances of cleaning taking over three hours after bad dog owners have stayed here. If the mess is particularly bad I may request your security deposit from Airbnb. This is rare. Please clean up after your dog in the yard as well.*
This neighborhood is residential yet busy. Many children play in the intersection near the house. Neighbors are racially and economic diverse. The most common crime is theft from unlocked vehicles.
  • Mandi is awesome. Very communicative if you had any questions. Location is great short travels to all attractions. Would recommend

  • Mandies place was awesome all around. Great, clean, comfortable space and centrally located. Mandie was a fabulous host and we would highly recommend staying in this space.

    Maria2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Mandie's place was just what we were looking for in a place to settle while exploring New Orleans. The house was located within walking distance to St Charles St and the Uptown parades and trolley. There are some really nice restaurants close by and within walking distance. The house was very clean and we loved that it was pet friendly. The fenced in backyard was a huge bonus. We would definitely stay with Mandie again in the future.

  • Sparking clean, newly renovated space in a gorgeous home! Private entrance & bathroom. Area felt safe, private parking right outside your window. • Gwendolyn is a very kind host with a beautiful property situated in the Treme area. This house is just a $5 Uber away from the French quarter or a short 15 minute walk. While in the area try learning about Treme’s history and get a feel for something other than the French Quarter! Her property is very old school with original wood floors and a giant tub with no shower. Our room had a beautiful balcony on the second floor. Bed was clean and tv had basic cable. • The place was clean Leslie was a awesome host. The location is great if you are visiting New Orleans. This was a great Airbnb and I recommend it for your stay.

    Carl2020-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying with Leslie, the bywater is an amazing neighborhood in New Orleans. Description was right on and we enjoyed our stay!

    Katelynn2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie was a wonderful host, and his house was exactly what I wanted and expected of New Orleans. My friends and I were there for Mardi Gras, and we loved not staying so close to all of the craziness. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. Leslie gave us great tips for food, safety, and how not to fall for scams. He is also knowledgeable in the history of his family and the house, which made the experience of staying there more memorable. I highly recommend staying here.

    Lauren2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie is a wonderful host. He responded immediately when we sent messages. He met us on arrival, gave us a tour of amenities and had a lot of helpful tips about the wonderful local eateries and pubs in Bywater. We enjoyed walking from here to the French Quarter and back along the waterway (Rusted Rainbow Bridge on Chartres and Piety to the end near French Market). When it was cold or late we grabbed Lyft ($10-15). The unit is 1/2 of the house and is connected by a door, but we never heard from his side and he didn't come in if he knew we were there. As mentioned he came in daily to take trash while we were gone We are very self sufficient, but if we had forgotten anything, it was there. Many thoughtful touches, including flowers, snacks, drinks, ice and toiletries. Can't wait to go back.

    Diana2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie is a great host! Really appreciated the stories about the area and the history of his family and home. Everything you need is provided, even things you wouldn't expect. Comfy beds...fridges...microwave...coffee maker...complimentary beverages including wine, and a great selection of snacks which is nice when you come home tired and could use a snack and a cold water, or soda. Huge bathroom with comfy towels. Thanks Leslie!

    Judy2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • In an up & coming neighborhood in the Bywater area, this location is just a couple of turns via Uber or Lyft to get to the French Quarter & everywhere in New Orleans. Quiet neighborhood & a comfortable space.

    Stephanie2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfectly situated in the super hip Bywater district. Very walkable, easy access to Frenchman st. or the French Quarter. Wonderfully historic (and possibly haunted) house adds to the vibe and charm. I can see why Leslie is considered a super host, both of the refrigerators were fully stocked and he had many tips for local activities. We will certainly be back!!

  • Great culture in Luke’s home. It was wonderful to have a pool to cool off in. Luke has all the local knowledge. Fun place to stay!

    Bret2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • To live in the house with an artist is great. You will feel the New Orleans style of living. Ask him and he will give you the best recommendations where to go, what do to. Thanks Luka, I will have great stories to tell my friends in Switzerland.

    Robert2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • I came down to shoot photos for a one-off gig and found myself staying with a fellow photographer. Luke was nothing short of a perfect host. He was super specific and to the point on check in instructions, rules of the house and expectations of stay. With that he’s easy going with a plethora of knowledge that he’s willing to share with you about the city and its culture. Also, the pool is aces. Nothing much more to say other than thank you Luke!

    Jordan2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Luke's place is great. Great location, many helpful tips and a fabulous pool (which was wormed up!). Definetly come back

    Valeria2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Luke's place was perfect for our Mardi Gras trip. It's within walking distance to everything and Luke gave us great tips on where to go and what to do. The heated pool was nice to soak in after a long day of walking around.

    Ibolya2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable room in a great location. This block felt very safe and is a quick walk to everything. Luke was helpful and communicative and had lots of suggestions for fun.

    Kevin2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Luke’s place is a find! Very centrally located and a nice room - and the pool! Great hospitality as well!

    Jeppe2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Luke's place is a unique experience that kept us cozy and feeling more like locals during our whole stay. His suggestions for what to do got us off on the right foot and kept us walking til the moment we had to begrudgingly get back on the plane home. You should stay here too!

Newly constructed, classic Gentilly home. You have your own private bedroom, private bathroom (detached but directly next to your room), TV with Netflix, Hulu (No Ads) and high-speed Wi-Fi. The house is well-kept, quiet, and clean. I never charge a cleaning fee. From the house, it’s a straight shot down (3.8 miles) to the French Quarter without having to deal with traffic or the interstate. Short Term Rental License Permit Number: 17STR-17461
The pristine and meticulously maintained 96 sq ft. bedroom offers exceptional comfort and stylish decor. In-room amenities include a full-size bed with 2 firm & 2 soft pillows, organic fair trade cotton bedding, ultra-fast wifi, premium bottled waters, snacks, Netflix, iPhone & Android chargers, remote control dimmable lighting, restaurant/bar recommendations, and a curated selection of books for your enjoyment. In the bathroom, you’ll find bath products, Q-tips and cotton rounds, 4 sets of soft towels, black makeup towel, soft toilet paper, and glass drinkware.
Gentilly is a non-touristy, residential neighborhood, so most of the local businesses are groceries, fast food, local food markets, and the best fried chicken you’ve ever had. However, it’s central location means you are just minutes away from all of the quintessential New Orleans flare and flavor if you want! There is a Walgreens and local grocery just down the block.
  • Evans place was excellent! It was very clean and nicely decorated, the mints were a nice touch and the snacks (chips, cookies, water bottles) were also very much appreciated. I also like that there was a private entrance for entering and exiting the home. I also liked that Evan provided a list of recommended restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Definitely a place that I would come back and stay For my next trip to the city!

  • Evan's place is SO nice. I loved all the intricate touches to the space from the snacks and cute cards. The house is not too far from French Quarters where you can easily Lyft or Uber for about $15. It was very clean and quiet. This is a place you do not want to miss!!

Come stay with me in my home in the up and coming St. Roch Neighborhood! Within walking distance to everything without the noise or traffic from the city! Close 15 min walk to French Quarter, plus tons of great food and fun right here! This is a great place to stay if you want a feel of the REAL New Orleans outside of the tourist attractions, this neighborhood is where all the artists, musicians, and creative types live (but the tourist stuff is still very close by :)).
The space is clean, spacious, and a nice escape from the downtown area while still being within walking distance to most all of New Orleans main attractions. Frenchmen St. & the French Quarter - 15 min walk (1 mile) St. Claude Arts District - 5 minute walk (3 blocks) St. Rock Market - 2 minute walk ( 1 block) Audubon Aquarium & WWII Museum - 30 minute walk (2 miles)
St. Roch is the oldest working class neighborhood in New Orleans. It was devastated by Katrina and is now turning into one of the most up and coming neighborhoods in the city. The neighborhood is rapidly changing and there are renovations all around, but a lot of the destruction from Katrina is still very prevalent and visible as well. Lots of great stuff here old and new (including the neighbors!)
  • This house is amazing!

  • Zoie’s place is in a great location it’s a super cool pad with plenty of space and wonderful amenities. She offers her advice and her time but also gives you the space you need and want to feel very comfortable in her house. I wish I could have stayed longer Zoie is a very gracious host and if you’re staying in New Orleans I would recommend you stay here! Everything was better than I expected. Thanks Zoie! 🙏

  • If you are looking for a warm, friendly and extremely unique home to stay in while in NOLA, do not hesitate to stay at Zoies. It was a bit of a walk to get to the French Quarter, the Trollys and Hop on Buses weren’t far away. St Roch’s market is just around the corner and was a great place to eat and grab a snack. Zoie was absolutely fabulous and never hesitated to share valuable information about what to see and do while in town. Our room was very spacious and the bed was cozy and comfy. There is a coffee machine in the room which was very handy. The decor in her house was awesome! Everywhere you looked, there was something unique to see. The house has so much character and we felt right at home. While we were there, Zoie informed us about the 12th night parades and festivities and even went as far as to get us all a King Cake to enjoy. We give Zoie a 5 out of 5 stars!!!

    Nichole2019-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • I got some changes in schedule and Ms. Zoie was very kind and flexible in changing the reservation. The house is nice and in good location.

    Son2018-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Everything top notch at the House of Hope! Zoie was quick to answer any questions and kept us comfortable. I really enjoyed the added touches of the foot booties to keep us warm in such a big space. Super clean. 25 minute walk to the French Quarter.

  • very interesting experience, pictures do not do justice to the premises, everything as promised and better

    Candace2018-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Zoie's apartment is very well located - it takes 20 minutes to walk to the French Quarter and there are a bunch of restaurants and bars closeby. The room is very spacious and stylishly decorated. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

    Mathias2018-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Zoie is a friendly host and always ready to help. The communication with her before and during the stay was perfect, and she was very flexible with the check-in time. The apartment is in a good location and it is in a walking distance to downtown. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is very quiet and clean, and with all the amenities you might need during your stay. We had a wonderful stay at Zoie's and I wouldn't hesitate to stay with her again if I ever come back to New Orleans. Thanks again for everything :)

  • Andrea was incredibly fast to respond to all my messages, and was very helpful in providing all the info I would need. The house is well equipped, comfortable and clean. In terms of location it is around 30 minutes’ walk into the French Quarter, personally I felt more comfortable taking a car into town (10 minutes) but for the price I still felt this was good value despite not being directly in the centre. Thanks Andrea for a great stay!

  • If you need a place to stay in NOLA, look no further. Hollis took clean to a whole new level during the COVID-19 pandemic. His home was spotless, he had cleaners, hand sanitizer and plenty of soap for his guests to stay safe, in addition it was abundantly clear he was practicing excellent practices himself. I wasn’t even a tiny bit concerned. His home is beautiful in addition to being clean! Thanks Hollis, would come again!

    Charlotte2020-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • This room is a true flavor of what New Orleans was and is

    Stanley2020-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • This home was so cute and cultured. The wrap around porch was so lovely to enjoy with the gorgeous weather Nola had that day. Hollis was very quick to respond and provided us total privacy during our stay. The home was clean and had been aired out before we arrived. A bottle of hand sanitzer and other cleaning products were waiting for us as soon as we walked in. Reasonably priced during such an economically impacted time. I'd definitely return. :)

Comfortable Duplex In Upper Ninth Ward. Two separate bedrooms (one queen and one full), and sleeper sofa. Full kitchen, with eating area, living room and w/d. Minutes away from "Musician's Village". Off street parking. 10 minutes to from Quarters.
If you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the French Quarters, this is the place for you. When you want to get ready to party in the Quarters, it is only a ten minute drive.
Centrally located and near the freeway. You definitely need a car to appreciate the different parts of the city, and the surrounding cities. Less than 30 minutes to Clearview Mall, Malls in Metairie, and Chalmette. And 10 minutes to the French Market.
  • Verna’s place is a great combination of value and location. She was always available and ready to help. Highly recommended!

    Tyler2020-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • Verna was a great host very understanding never once was she rude or short with me one of the best host I've ever had the pleasure off being hosted by if their was an issue she solved it right away I recommend her 1000%.

    Joe2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent hospitality! Host provided food when I arrived and tips for navigating the city. Couldn't have asked for more.

    Chris2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • We took a chance and booked a bit outside from the hustle and bustle and it did pay off. The house is just right for a family of four. We had read the other guests’ appreciation for Verna’s hospitality bit were still amazed at the personal welcome, chicken from Melba’s as welcome dinner and the drinks and snacks available throughout the week. These are the little details that makes you really happy to have chosen Verna’s. Also we got tips on eateries (ribs at the Joint! Breakfast at Elizabeth!) and what was happening in NOLA this week. To get around a car or Uber is needed (there is also a bus but we did not use this). Biking should also be fine. The area is maybe not to go wandering around late at night but we felt safe coming and going. There is a Walmart quite close. Thank you again Verna and hope to see you again!

    Nina2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Verna is an amazing woman. She made us feel welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived. She was super about offering ideas, recommendations and supports during our stay. Thanks for making our trip to NOLA awesome!!!

    Diana2019-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Verna’s home was an incredible place to stay. She had classic New Orleans food waiting for us upon arrival. The home was very secure and clean. We were able to get Uber’s to the French quarter quickly and cheaply. Everything you need is available at the house. Overall would highly recommend.

    Marlie2019-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Verna's place was great, she provided us with snacks, water, cleaning supplies,. The place had everything you needed to live properly. She provided us with tips around new orleans, and personally talked to us about what these places are and what we would like. She is a great host!!

    Aanchal2019-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Verna was an amazing host! When we booked our stay back in February she sent us links on local places we should check out, as well as, frequently communicating what New Orleans had to offer and she made sure any and all questions were answered. She was thorough, and quickly replied in a matter of seconds/minutes. When we arrived to the Airbnb, it was clean and neat on the outside, as well as, on the inside. She made sure to take extra precautions by having a high end security system, so we always felt safe no matter what! We were greeted by Verna and home food from New Orleans! She brought us chicken wings, rice, beans/sausage and cooked cabbage! And YUM! She made sure all of her guests were taking care of, by offering snacks, water bottles, soda etc. throughout the stay, she always checked on us and sent us links on local events that were happening downtown. The drive to bourbon street, French Quarters etc. wasn’t bad at all, we frequently drove our car around the city, which was easy to do. It was about 5 miles from the Airbnb to Bourbon, French Quarters etc. We never felt unsafe while we were there, and all in all, we definitely will make sure to book our next visit and stay with Verna!

  • STAY HERE! We love New Orleans and have stayed in many neighborhoods and wonderful homes but Jehan’s place is the winner hands down. It’s hard to say what our favorite part was. Walk to magazine street and incredible restaurants with delicious vegan options. We traveled with our dogs who LOVED the dog park across the street. At the end of the day we would hit the sauna for a refreshing detox which would make for an solid nights sleep - on incredible comfy beds. The list goes on but everything was a 10/10, including Jehan and her hospitality! We can’t wait to come back!!

    John2020-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • We were in town for the week for a business expo and the place was great! Clean & comfortable and Jehan was a very gracious host, communication was fast, had everything we needed. Lots of nice personal touches too!

    Heide2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jehan's home is in a quiet location and in walking distance to groceries, restaurants, music and local transportation. Super convenient! The place was exactly as described and was perfect for two couples traveling together. I highly recommend this spot for either a quiet hideaway or a home base for daily adventures.

    Michele2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Jehan’s place is PERFECT for a stay in New Orleans especially if you have a furry friend accompanying you. She lives right across the street from an awesome field and dog park, and walking distance to all the great restaurants on Magazine street as well as Audubon Park and Zoo. We just spent 10 days at Jehan’s and she was incredibly accommodating and was always quick to respond to any questions or requests. We are looking forward to our next visit to NOLA and plan to stay with Jehan!

    Jessica2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jehan’s place is perfect - just the right size, a great location and the back and front gardens are beautiful. Jehan is a fabulous host!

    Claire2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Just awesome! Fantastic location, short walk to many great restaurants, bars, and music venues. A few minutes to Tipitina’s, my favorite spot to see live music House is cozy; great backyard, 2 bathrooms, all necessary amenities. Super neighborhood, responsive host. Would happily return in the future!!

    John2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great find! It is SO New Orleans. The old house is sparkling clean and it is decorated with great antiques of it's time period. It is attached to the front house where the host lives so we had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with her. The neighborhood in this Garden District is quiet and quaint, away from the maddening crowds of the Quarter and Bourbon street. There is a great bar and grill literally half a block away that you can walk to. We will definitely choose this place again!

    Celeste2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Jehan’s for about a week and had a great time in New Orleans. The house is described and shown in pictures pretty accurately. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean, and has everything you need for your stay. All worked out well for my family of 2 adults and our 2 grown up children. Thank you, Jehan

We were met at the door by her and shown to our room. The rooms were very clean with towels at the ready. After being shown to our room we were given a tour of the inn. I recommend the Okra in to every family member, friend and Service Dog Team.

Jeremy’s home is located in a historic New Orleans neighborhood in the perfect location for visitors. During festival season you'll be guaranteed to experience the culture of New Orleans at it's best. French Quarter, City park, Frenchmen Street, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, Jazzfest, Voodoo fest and much more are a short distance away.
  • This home is an Airbnb gem! Styled with multiple rooms down a hallway and 2 large shared full bathrooms with shower. Very funky and fun set up. Only downside for us was location. Did not feel safe walking at night to/from the quarter so ended up driving closer and parking.

    Jennifer2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy and Sophia were amazing hosts. Their home was very lovely and clean. Piper (their dog) was also very sweet and well behaved. The back porch was my favorite part of the house. It was easy to relax under the palm tree for hours. Although it’s not walking distance to the French quarter, it’s just a quick (and fairly cheap) Uber away from all the fun parts of the city. Overall, an amazing stay. I would definitely come back in the future!

    Rylee2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy and Sophia's place was quaint and cozy! The backyard was such a nice area to go chill and relax! I would love to stay here again!

    Katie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy & Sophia's place is ideally located if you want to get into the French Quarter, visit the cemeteries or eat some chicken at Willie Mae's Scotch House (which you definitely do). The room was clean and comfortable and check in and check out was easy.

    Michael2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place, good location and nice backyard. Jeremy gave us a lot of local addresses, great to discover New-Orleans culture ! Very nice and kind, Jeremy was a perfect host ! 👌🏼

    Edouard2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Jeremy and Piper (the sweetest house pup!). From the thoughtful touches like earplugs (the house is like a small hostel, so light sleepers would appreciate them), to the warm welcome and generosity when it came to offering local suggestions and tips, we wouldn’t have changed a single thing about our stay. The neighborhood was wonderful - walkable to French Quarter, and all of the neighbors were the absolute friendliest. Our pre-Mardi Gras hangovers highly appreciated the fresh brewed coffee every morning, and check-in and check-out were seamless. We’d 100% stay here again!
