“Maya Cuisine is awesome. The front features counter service, really affordable Mexican food that is seriously top notch (my friends swear by the tamales, but everything is good). Add your own toppings at the salsa bar. In the back, there's a full-service restaurant (with liquor) and even a garden dining area behind that. ”

“Silly name for a Mexican restaurant serving authentic, made to order, quick meals. Wait in line, pick which meats and toppings you want for tacos, burritos. There are also full plate meals with rice and beans. Try the alambre or tortas and french fries if really hungry. Kids may like the sopes if they want to try something a little different than tacos. Beverages include Mexican pops like Jarritos, Jumex and aguas frescas like horchata and jamaica. For a quick, affordable meal, this is a good spot. Located on Central Avenue in NE Minneapolis, it is about 4 miles from Cozy Nest and not far from downtown.”

“This is my local watering hole. It's a no frills place filled with some of the best humans I've ever met. For a dive bar they take beer pretty seriously, so you definitely try something new. They also have plenty of your favorite divey staples for pretty cheap. There's no kitchen but they'll cook you up a frozen pizza for a late night snack. ”
