Kimberley made us feel very welcome both her and her husband were very welcoming. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Loved the little touches of home baked banana bread cream for our coffee.

We were in Rossland for a few days of mountain biking. Short ride to the trails from there. Walked to grocery store and good restaurants right on the next block. Kimberley was very accommodating and let us check in really early. It was hot outside but the place is really cool almost felt like it had air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. Will probably come back to Rossland and will stay there again for sure.

Great stay! We were greeted at check in and got a proper tour of the place and suggestions of things to check out in town. Whenever we had a question we were able to get a reply from the hosts right away, and anytime we bumped into them on the property they were always super friendly, checking to see how everything was going. The apartment is very clean and spacious, a lot bigger than I was expecting!! The kitchen in fully equip with anything you might need including a dishwasher! It is located a very short walk to the downtown area and an even shorter walk to a nice little pub! There were maps for all of the hiking trails that are located in and around the city, which we took advantage of. There is lots to see and do in Rossland, I loved it. For a little town tucked away in the Kootenays, it has a lot going on! This was a great place!!!

We visit Rossland once a year for the past 5 years, and will be continuing to do so in years to come. This stay was our favorite; clean, well located, with a full working kitchen, and a very gracious host. Could not have asked for more.

This place was perfect for our Rossland bike trip. A few blocks from great food and beer and famous singletrack! The apartment was spacious, clean and cool in 30 plus degree temps. The comfy bed and quiet area made for restful sleeps. Highly recommend! We'll be back

Super friendly host's, tidy simple suite. A bit of an odd layout but lots of room for gear. The bed was really comfy and the two minute walk to down town was nice.

Albert is friendly and welcoming. If you prefer staying in a private house rather than a suite this is a great choice. A good place to eat at is the restaurant in the golf clubhouse which is in easy walking distance.

This guest house was an excellent and affordable place to stay in Trail, BC as it was very near the river which gave easy access to the downtown area via a short walk over one of two bridges. The house itself was actually better in person than its photos revealed including laundry machines in the basement and a selection of on-demand tv and movies for free. It was very private and quiet and had a nice front deck where I could sit under an umbrella and talk with neighbours and the host casually. It was a great place to be able to easily cook your own meals using the in-house cookware and dishes, which were in good supply and in fine shape. On a side note it was a little difficult at times due to the heat wave that Trail was experiencing (I think it was 36-38 degrees celsius every day) as the place is without air conditioning, but there was a good fan and the beach wasn't far away so I was okay. I don't normally care for or need air conditioning at home, but that's the only addition toward an improved stay on such a nice place that I would say would help out under heat wave conditions during this time of year. It worked very well for the week's stay I had there and the host is very kind and helpful regarding any information one might want about the city and things to do during ones stay in Trail.

My stay at Audry's property was perfect. I had a delay flying into my location and she accommodated me with no problem. Also very helpful with all your local needs. Definitely would stay here again when visiting Trail.

This place is absolutely perfect for a nice little get away. Close to walking trails and downtown. Don't plan too much to do though, you might just want to lay in the world's most comfy bed all day!! Ha ha! Audry is an absolute delight and makes it all so easy!

Loved the location - right at the bottom of the ski hill. Hot tub on the balcony is awesome! Loads of room for skis and boards. Would definitely recommend.

This is a very well equipped house walking distance to Red Mountain and the shuttle stop to town. We had a great stay here over Xmas and enjoyed some dinners in and lounging around together after skiing. This is the perfect spot for a group ski trip. There is a good supermarket in town and Gabriella's restaurant practically next door serves very good Italian. The place has its own parking spots, lots of outdoor space including hot tub and with a padded ottoman, everyone can sit around the living room and the large dining table also. On site host Briget was very responsive and took care of anything we needed.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were being welcomed home. As the drive from Vancouver was longer than we initially expected, it was pretty dark out by the time we reached their house. Upon pulling into their driveway, we were happy to see Lauri waiting outside on the upstairs patio awaiting our arrival and welcoming us to her home. The space was very cozy and we absolutely loved the guestbook idea. Lauri was on hand to answer our questions and gave us helpful advice with locating a place to eat at such a late hour. Though our stay was short, we witnessed one of the most beautiful sights while staying here -- a moonless night allowed for an incredible (and expansive) view of the milky way and star-filled sky. We greatly enjoyed our stay and look forward to spending more time at this charming residence the next time we are in BC.

Lauri and Terry were great hosts and the private appartment was exactly what I needed on my weekend away. The views were amazing, they have hiking trails just steps away from your front door. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing retreat! Thanks again!

We spent 3 nights at the property. What convinced us to stay here was that fact that the property was dog friendly. The setting worked great for us--nice trails and the fact that we were out of town and near a golf course. The unit seemed to be brand new and all the furnishings and appliances were top notch. We choose not to cook and trips into Rossland and Trail were an easy drive. It was a nice touch that our hostess greeted us with a good bottle of wine. As a couple with a dog the setting worked for us.

The apartment was well furnished, stylish and comfortable. From our front window we looked at the golf course and the mountains beyond. Our hosts Lauri and Terry were friendly and attentive, asking us several times if we needed anything and providing a couple things that we asked for. They even brought us a bottle of wine that they had crafted at a shop in town. Rossland is a cute little town with lots of great restaurants, and Red Mountain ski area is just 10 minutes from the apartment.

Cute little studio right in town (and minimal hills to walk from downtown to get home). Armando was very helpful and quick to respond. There isn't any air conditioning so was a bit warm late afternoon, but evenings were cool and Arnaldo brought us a fan which made it better. Great value for a longer stay in a bit cooler season.

Perfect little spot for 2 people. Very clean and perfect location. Plenty of parking and a 1 min walk to the Main Street. Great coffee and Thai restaurant just down the block.Communication with the host was easy and check in was a breeze. We definitely recommend this place :)

I had a lovely time staying with Charlene and her husband. They have a charming house in a quiet back street away from the center of town that provides a very peaceful and relaxing setting. My hosts were charming, welcoming, and very friendly. I also took advantage of the spa services that Charlene offers in-house. A massage was just the ticket after 5000 miles in the saddle in just eleven days! I slept well, and left feeling much more relaxed than when I arrived. I highly recommend Charlene's AirBnB to any potential guests, especially if you value good conversation, being made to feel at home, some furry therapy, and a little R&R during your stay!

The room is small, but nicely decorated and the bed is very comfy. Definitely appreciated having netflix set up and ready to go on the room TV. Good location: close to the highway, easy to find, and quiet. Host responded very quickly, which was highly appreciated. Only complaint is that the pets (cat and small dog) were a little loud. Overall, I had a very good experience, especially for my first time using airbnb.

Clean room. Animals are kept out so no issues there. Washroom is shared with another renter, but no issues there. Fresh coffee ready to go every morning. If you have allergies to animals, it may not be the best place for you although the two dogs are the cutest animals on the planet

Everything is gorgeous in this place, the home, the yard, the cat and the two dogs, specially the dogs. We could not stop petting them. Charlene is super nice and the apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, perfect for relaxing after a big Day skiing In Red Mountain Ressort. The room is in a big house sharing with others housemate realy Nice. If you like skiing and looking for a Good place for sleeping during you ski trip in red Mountain, I definitly recomend this room. There is no hot plate for cooking hot dish but it's Good reason to discover one of the restaurant in town.

Easy to find, access to unit noted in email. Did briefly bother the neighbour before I remembered to reread the instructions. Attractive room, Super comfy bed, spacious for reading, relaxing. Simple meal prep available, with a little hunting. No TV, but good Wi Fi , so I could watch finale of a fav show. Walking distance to all amenities in Rossland. Very quiet, clean, nice for 1 person.

Was a strange experience. We had trouble checking in. Also found the room to be not very private. We could hear people on both sides - every word of conversations. No TV. And wifi not working. It wasn't what we expected.

Due to the fires, our room got shuffled around a bit. Marguerite was extremely accommodating due to this change on her end and the room we got was fantastic and felt like home. My partner and I actually said to each other that "We could totally live in a place like this for a while if we moved to Rossland. It has everything we would need!" During our stay, any questions we had were answered promptly. The suite was clean and comfortable. We definitely plan to go back in the future!

Marguerite is very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The suite is as described. It is comfortable, exceptionally clean, and located close to downtown Rossland-- an ideal location for me! The only draw-back is that there are multiple suites in close proximity within the building. I certainly appreciated my week-long stay at Marguerite's suite!

We stayed at Marguerite's for a weekend ski trip. Her place was well taken care of, and had all of the little amenities that made the stay more comfortable. The town of Rossland is rather small, and her house is right off of the downtown area, which made it very easy to walk around to the local shops and restaurants. The ski slopes are just a short bus ride or five minute car ride from her house as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would certainly stay again upon our next visit to the area.

Kathy and Larry were very attentive hosts, and while in the end we never got to meet them ( we had a busy schedule of ski races up at Red Mountain), they were always super responsive and were kind enough to offer us a late check out on our final day ( was great to be able to change out of wet ski clothes before a long drive)

The description of the house was legitimate and true to the last word. Location plays a large role when wanting to be close to the mountain, and this ski house was in close proximity to both the ski mountain as well as the grocery store; overall, the location made necessities easily accessible.

What a wonderful place to stay! Primely located in Rossland, the guest house is within a few minutes walk of all the amenities of town, including bike shop, coffee shop, grocery store, and even the community theatre. We rode our bikes right from the house to explore the local trail system. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot, with great flow. Dawn and Mark were caring and responsive hosts, and we'd love to come again.

If you looking for a nice place to stay on the Columbia river, close to the new skywalk, look to further. Quiet and peaceful

We had a lovely stay at Barb's place! The suite and kitchen is well stocked and very clean! The backyard area is gorgeous and super relaxing, with a beautiful view of the mighty Columbia River and downtown. It is a super close walk to downtown, the lovely Gyro park and swim area, and its just a hop to Safeway....super convenient for anyone without a car.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and we had everything that we needed. It was in a great location and only about a 10-15 minute walk into town. We loved the sauna, and the heated floors were an added bonus! We have stayed other places in Rossland with very limited hot water, but three of us were all able to take hot showers, which was amazing after a cold day! We would DEFINITELY stay here again if they would have us!

Great little apartment for our short stay in Rossland. It was close to everything in a safe area....more worry about running into a bear than anything.

This was an awesome place. The sauna was perfect after a hard day of skiing. The radiant floor heating kept the apartment at the perfect temperature the entire visit. The host was attentive and replied to any problems that I encountered. Unfortunately, every step made by the upstairs neighbors can be heard loud and clear. I would not stay here again until insulation is put between the upstairs and the basement apartment or if no one else was renting the upstairs unit.

Jaimie is a very engaging, interesting, intelligent and funny individual who I would recommend to anybody. He prepares breakfast and dinner, very well might I add, and does this at a very reasonable rate. Jaimie has some very reasonable house rules, and as long as they are followed, you will get along just fine. I look forward to seeing Jaimie again!

My wife and I visited Trail to attend a funeral, and we choose this stay because Jamie was welcoming of our two dogs. We didn't notice this in the description when we booked the place, but a bonus for us is that Jamie included breakfast and dinner during our stay, and for, takeout, chocolate bars as well. The location is quiet, and don't worry about the railway tracks nearby--no longer actively used. We stayed in a basement room which offered more privacy considering we have dogs but I believe there is an upstairs room as well next to a large living room. One should be aware that Jamie also has two long term renters, but they seemed decent people and no concern, and they were rarely around at the time. We found the place comfortable, quiet, and inviting, and Jamie attentive to any concerns or questions--for instance he permitted us to leave our dogs to stay while we attended the funeral. We would seek to return on future visits. Also in the basement they was a TV room with full cable and Netflix. And there is an public outdoor pool in the neighborhood about a pleasant 20 minute walk and 200 foot elevation gain away-though the route may be not be easy to find.

I was astonished that Jaimie so generously served dinner very day additional to the great breakfast. That never happened to me in all the Airbnbs I visited before! Jaimie is a great guy and it is fun to discuss (at times very controversial) issues with him in a very open way.

Jamie is a great host and will cook you a delicious meal. We stayed in the trailer which was very comfy and private. Jamie is very talkative and told us about the history of trail, which was neat. We really enjoyed staying here.

Jaimie was very hospitable, making a delicious dinner and even having dessert and breakfast available to us in the morning. We really appreciated how much she wanted to make us comfortable, and her care for those staying with her was clear. Our only comments are that the room/house was not tidy. Also, Jaimie was very talkative and likes to discuss politics, but she tends to dominate the conversation. It's easy to get the feeling you are there to be educated.
