  • Beautiful house, better than the pictures reveal!

    Katie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great weekend for our friends 30th birthday, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were great, as the hot tubs went wrong once or twice but they were there within minutes to sort it out. We asked for take away menus and they were there, they couldn't do enough for us. Only downside was the water kept going cold so we really had to stagger showers but there was 14 of us and the house wasn't the warmest but it's a barn conversion and it was very windy!! We have all said we would definitely come back and stay here!

    Jo2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The barn is a beautiful place to stay with a very nice hot tub. It is in a quiet location but near to plenty of pubs and beaches. The water can be a little chilly but as long as you stagger showers this can be managed. Wifi is also a bit hit and miss but does the job for a few days away. Thank you very much!

    Kathryn2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was amazing! We stayed for two nights for a hen do and had such a good time! The kitchen was fab, and it's so spacious. We hired butler's in the buff for cocktail making and games - it's a really good space! The lounge is a lovely place to relax, and every bedroom was really nicely decorated and clean! Underfloor heating throughout which was nice. The hot tub was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for a large group! And the check in and out was super easy!

    Chloe2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Exceeded our expectations and the pictures does not do this barn justice, it's even more beautiful in real life. when we arrive we was greeted and shown around the home and we were made to feel so welcomed like this was our own place. The barn was spotless and didn't find any dirt anywhere. You're provided with towels, tea-towels, toilet roll, tea, coffee, sugar and milk which was so thoughtful as that makes all the difference. we had our dad's 50th birthday here and there was more than enough room for everyone (as a family of 13) it was so nice to be able to share a dinner table together, a living room where you can all sit down it was truly beautiful. we were provided with so many games, puzzles, dvd's etc. but my only recommendation would be there should be a TV added to the down stairs living room as kids wanted one thing on the telly and adults wanted another so it would've been great to have another option, we personally thought the kitchen as we noticed the Freeview Ariel and that's where we spent most of our time. But we couldn't fault this place even if we tried, thank you so much for a lovely stay, we will 100% be back.

  • We had a wonderful hen weekend at Medieval Swafield Barn! It's a great space for 15 people and all of our party was wowed by the barn. The hot tub was a big hit and stayed very warm throughout the weekend. The kitchen island is a great space and the dining area was comfortable for all of us. We did run short of hot water despite staggering our showers but you are warned about this in the welcome book at the barn. Our correspondence with the hosts before our stay was great and every query and request was answered - we requested extra tea towels during our stay as only one had been provided and they were brought straight away. We also enquired before our stay about whether bluetooth speakers were available and the host confirmed they had purchased some for the barn - thank you! Overall a great weekend had by all! Several of our party are thinking of occasions that they can book the barn for!

    Claire2020-01-26T00:00:00Z

Charming former fisherman's cottage; minutes from the wide sandy beaches and centrally located in Cromer town centre on a quiet road. Fully modernised with central heating and original features perfect for cozy winter breaks and summer holidays alike. Private park space two mins walk away.
A chance to stay in a listed former-fisherman's cottage in a prime location in the centre of the town. Full of character; the cottage is the perfect place to unwind helped along by walks along the beach and for the brave dips in the North sea. Close to amenities and good local pubs; everything is on hand for a relaxing break. The cottage has been awarded 3 stars by Visit England. Note although the cottage sleeps five it is more suited to 4 adults than 5 as the third bedroom is very cosy and there are only 4 soft seats in the living room.
Cromer is a great place to be based to discover North Norfolk or alternatively just stay local and enjoy the wide sandy beaches, white cliffs and Victorian pier.
  • An amazing location & a cute & cozy cottage awaits you....absolutely charming

    Debbie2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in Lauren’s lovely cottage. Great location, minutes from the sea, and Lauren was a brilliant and communicative host. Local recommendations in the property guide were brilliant too!

    Alice2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren’s lovely cottage was the perfect place for our family of 4 to stay for a few days and explore Cromer and the north Norfolk coast. We loved the cottage- you’re staying in a part of Cromer’s maritime history. The cottage is compact but warm and cozy and comfortable with sufficient kit to cook and eat a decent meal. The location is as perfect as you could want- quiet but right by the town centre with nice places to eat and drink within less than a minutes walk (The Gangway for drinks, Nash falafel place, the Thai restaurant, the Red Lion cosy friendly cliff top pub, grey seal coffee all great, all moments away). The cottage is at the top of a short path down to the beach and seafront walkway and 5 mins along to the pier. Lauren’s communication was great and meant zero stress arriving or leaving and there is plenty of information in the home about local things to do. Thanks Lauren!

    Daniel2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely weekend stay at Lauren's cottage. It's brilliantly located in the centre of town with a parking space just a few minutes' walk away. It was very clean when we arrived and we liked the homely feel.

    Robin2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cosy cottage in central Cromer with great sea views from the main bedroom. A really good base for exploring the area.

    George2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great cottage - very close to the sea. Met all our needs - a group of 5 accommodated easily. Place restored and transformed beautifully and well managed and a pleasure to stay in. Stairs steep though after a night on the town! Great notes on history of house and area and ideas on what to do (and not to do) in area thoughtfully provided and well presented. Ease of communication was effortless. Well recommended.

    Bram2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay in Lauren’s lovely cottage in Cromer which is perfectly positioned for the town and beach and exploring the surrounding area. Lauren left us some thoughtful treats which were very appreciated. We stayed with our 2 children and all had a great time. We really hope to stay another time - thank you Lauren

The Good Shepherd, located in the seaside village of Overstrand is just a 3 minute walk to the beach and 1 mile from the Victorian fishing town of Cromer. The Shepherds Hut is situated on a secluded plot at the side of our property, overlooking flower beds and exotic shrubs. The hut contains a comfortable double bed, log burner and mini fridge. Outside is a separate heated shower-room, small private lawn, fire pit & bbq. Ideal for a peaceful retreat, perfect for couples and lone adventurers.
  • Mim's Shepard's hut was the perfect getaway. It is very stylish and cosy with everything you could need - log fire and beautiful shower included. There was more than enough room for two people and the White Horse pub down the road does tasty food! We walked from Cromer to Overstrand along the beach and back again along the cliff tops- beautiful scenery. Highly recommend staying here!!

    Anna2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great couple of nights here. The place is thoughtfully decorated and very cosy, even on a wet and blustery February weekend (Loo trips had to be times to avoid the rain). Overstrand has a couple of cafes and a decent if rather soulless pub. Cromer has lots of facilities and if, like me, you come on public transport, is a 30 min walk or short bus ride away. My only comment would be that it would be brilliant if more fuel could be provided for the small yet very effective burner, especially on such a chilly weekend. Also note that there is no phone signal, at least not on O2! Overall a lovely, comfortable and very relaxing couple of nights. Shame it wasn’t longer so I could have delved into the excellent book selection provided!

    William2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great couple of days staying in the hut! Nice comfy bed and loved being so close to the beach. 😊

    Emma2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very cosy, even in storm Dennis. Totally recommend.

    Olly2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place was lovely for 2 for a quiet weekend away (there was no phone signal which might not be ideal for everyone but we loved it - we were planning a phone free weekend anyway!). Bit nippy when we arrived but it was February in Norfolk after all, and once we got the log fire going it was so cosy. The little touches were great too, and we used the 'walking in Norfolk' guide for a walk on out first day. Would recommend!!

    Ellie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Firstly location wise it is great! Very near the sea and near to the corner shop and pub. Can walk to Cromer in 30-45 minutes along a cliff top walk or on the beach. The hut is very nice and cosy. Very stylish place. Got a tiny bit chilly but had the log burner and radiator to keep it warm. Would recommend bringing a few layers if coming in the winter months, but is all part of the fun of it. Some nice walks both to Cromer but also inland to north repps which we found in the walks in Norfolk book found in the hut. The white horse is a nice place for dinner or one of the many places in Cromer!

    Wiggy2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice little place to stay for a romantic retreat, in a great location with great hosts!

    Joe2020-01-20T00:00:00Z

Historic WW2 Lookout with exceptional cliff top views, now our quirky but totally unique home which is available when we are away. It is set in secluded woodland with private parking. It’s 300m from the beach plus 10 min walk into town along the coast path. There is a terrace with BBQ and front garden with direct access to the clifftop steps to the beach. It is small but it has 4 linked rooms that sleep 4 with a kitchen, shower room and ironing board.
The original building was erected in 1942 as a very solid World War II Lookout and listening post. It was modified for use by the coastguard after the war and it is this flat roofed structure that remains relatively unchanged to this day: even the concrete fence posts are still in place! The main room has stunning panoramic sea views on 3 sides through the original slanted WW2 bronze windows and from here there is a door on to the terrace. As there is no separate sitting room this main room contains a single bed which can be used as a seat when not in use. There is also a dining table with 5 stools, 2 high chairs at the windows and one armchair. The kitchen leads off the main room and has a small oven, microwave oven, halogen hobs, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, a copper water filter, a kettle and a toaster. From the kitchen stairs leads down to a linking room containing a single bed which connects to the main bedroom which has twin beds that can be converted to a double. The shower room is "wet room" style and access is off the link room. It has an electric shower, WC and heated towel rail. There is a TV, new electric radiators and free unlimited high speed Wifi. There is direct access through the front garden onto the coastal path with steps close by leading down to the sandy beach just minutes away. At the back of the property there is a woodland footpath which leads to The Lighthouse and The Royal Cromer Golf Course. It is a mere 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town along the promenade. Cromer is a quintessential British seaside holiday town which boasted many famous visitors in its Victorian heyday when people travelled by train to enjoy the coastal scenery and take restorative dips in the sea whilst breathing in its famously clean air. Many of the historic buildings remain and it has a pier with an active lifeboat station and the Pavilion Theatre. The beautifully renovated sea front has been brought right up to date with the addition of the Glide Surf School & Cedar House Surf Shop and the North Norfolk Lifesaving Club. It is a great place to learn to surf or try stand up paddle boarding ( SUP ) in flatter conditions plus you can watch the more experienced surfers surf the big North Sea swells all year round.

In short The Lookout is a wonderful beach front retreat with a sense of history, breathtaking views of the coast, fresh air, delicious local seafood, dark skies, birdsong where you can listen to the sound of the sea yet you have all the benefits of being part of a unique and historic English coastal town.
  • The description says it all. This is a unique place to stay. We spent a lot of time looking out at passing ships. Walking alone the beach, just enjoying simple pleasures. A great place to get away from hustle & bustle.

  • The Lookout is the perfect place to unwind. We stayed for a long weekend in November and it was a tranquil bolthole, ideal for watching the world go by or wandering on the miles of beaches. The lounge space is just stunning with views on 3 sides of the room whilst being private with the height of the windows. Emily’s place has everything you need and she’s got some great recommendations for local places to visit.

Our studio apartment is close to the beach, woods, town centre and parks. It is light, airy and spacious, set within a semi-wooded garden. It is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has level access so is suitable for wheelchair users, although the drive is gravel.
The studio offers a spacious, open-plan living space with kitchen and dining area. A good size bedroom and separate shower complete the accommodation. There is underfloor heating throughout, with oak flooring. A cot and highchair are available on request. There is also a garage space if required.
North Norfolk provides fantastic opportunities to explore, including National Trust properties and beautiful sandy beaches. Further afield, are the Norfolk Broads and the fine city of Norwich.

Lovely personal touches with flowers, tea, coffee etc and delicious flapjack. A great place for weekend break or longer. Home from home. Would definitely recommend.

Mundesley is a lovely thriving seaside village on the North Norfolk Coast with a beautiful wide sandy blue flag beach. It's the perfect place to get away from it all and has much to offer for people of all ages. There is a great children's park with zip wire, skate/scooter park, outdoor mini gym, crazy golf, one small amusement arcade and multi use games area, all just a short stroll away. There is also a 9-hole golf course on the outskirts of the village. The beautiful beach stretches for miles and is wonderful for walking, swimming, body boarding, surfing, building sand castles or just to relax and read a book or enjoy a picnic. During the summer months the main area of the beach is patrolled by RNLI lifeguards. You'll also find toilets, the beach cafe (open during the summer) and a well stocked shop selling buckets, spades, etc and where you can hire wind breaks and deck chairs. • Harebell Cottage is a lovely little cottage in a very nice, well located village. The walk to Overstrand beach is very good with the dogs and it is well positioned for a quick drive to Cromer and Sheringham. I think Cromer is walkable too but we didn't attempt it. Elaine is a great host, all communication was very straight forward and clear. We would love to go back sometime, the kids didn't want to leave!

    Nicola2020-02-02T00:00:00Z

"Without doubt the best airbnb experience we've ever had." Our cabin is perfectly located for a memorable coastal break. Set within our wonderful garden, the cabin has a king-sized bed, TV and sofa. It doesn't have running water so guests use the bathroom facilities in our house a few steps away. We provide a choice of delicious breakfasts. This lovely retreat is ideal for beach and country walks, trips to nearby attractions, local pubs and restaurants...or just a peaceful relaxing getaway.
We have a lovely home close to the sea, including our garden cabin which is set up to provide accommodation for our guests in this fantastic location. The cabin is set up as a bedroom and sitting area. It has a comfortable king-sized bed, a cosy sitting area with a sofa, TV and a wardrobe/drawer for your clothes. Clean bedding and towels are supplied as well as dressing gowns and crocs for your use. There's a smoke alarm to increase your safety. Tea and coffee making facilities are also in the cabin and a microwave and mini-fridge close by. It doesn't have running water so guests use the downstairs toilet/washroom and upstairs bathroom with walk-in shower in our house, a few steps away. If required, we can provide a simple to use and hygienic portable toilet for discreet use in the cabin. The cabin sits in our wonderful gravel garden which we love and there are places for our guests to sit and read or just watch the world go by. We provide off-road parking meaning your car is only a few yards from the cabin. As hosts, we will help you feel welcome and this includes providing breakfast, ranging from a full English fried special to a choice of cereals and yogurts. And we've got five out of five hygiene rating from the local council. We look forward to meeting our guests, whatever their background or age, and helping them get as much enjoyment from staying here as possible, with our first-hand knowledge of visitor attractions, and those places less popular but just as special.
Our accommodation is only five minutes walk from beautiful sandy and unspoilt beaches where you can stroll along the clifftops or by the sea. Overstrand is a pretty, quiet village with a cheerful pub, convenient shop/post office, a couple of cafes and lovely Victorian architecture. Being in a beautiful part of North Norfolk there are many things to do throughout the year. Here are a few examples: *Walking along deserted, clean beaches, cliff paths and the gentle countryside; *Swimming in the sea; *Visiting nearby seaside resorts of Cromer, Sheringham, Wells-next-the-sea and other seaside villages along the North Norfolk coast; *Playing golf at the fabulous clifftop courses nearby; *Cycling or driving on the quiet country roads; *Visiting historic stately homes and country houses; *Strolling around lovely country gardens; *Seeing some of the finest church architecture in the country, ranging from Saxon round towers to Victorian gothic; *Birdwatching on the marshes only a few miles to the west; *Seeing the seals on boat trips or going to beaches where mother seals and their pups are resting; *Discovering the unique, peaceful inland waterways of the Norfolk Broads - day hire boats are available; *Tasting fresh seasonal local produce served at excellent gastro pubs and restaurants including the famous Cromer Crab; *Visiting unspoilt villages and market towns; *Boat trips to see seals from nearby seaside towns; *Exploring the fine city of Norwich, ranked fifth in the country for shopping. *Carnivals and special events take place all along the North Norfolk coast during the Summer including the Cromer carnival week during August; food festivals; music festivals; art trails; and the renowned 1940s weekend in Sheringham during September.
  • A tranquil little cabin in a beautiful part of the country. I can't believe how quiet it was! Some of the best nights sleep I've had in quite some time. The hosts are welcoming and warm people. I can't wait to go back.

  • I had the most lovely stay at Paul and Amanda's cabin. They are both so welcoming and kind, and made me feel immediately comfortable and at home. The cabin is so cute and cosy, and only a two minute walk from the sea. Breakfast was delicious and the whole stay was a perfect balance between solitude and nice company! I arrived without a car (train to Cromer and then a walk along the beach) and it worked just fine. Thanks so much Paul and Amanda, I look forward to visiting again!

    Sian2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda and Paul were fabulous hosts. Me and my friend were both vegan and they catered for our needs above and beyond, the breakfast they gave us was fantastic and they’d even left some vegan treats in the cabin, as well as purchasing some vegan milk for us both. They had great tips on where to go, eat and their communication was great too! We hope to stay again in the future.

  • We searched for Airbnbs in Cromer and this one attracted our attention. Its a 10 minute walk to the town and a bit further to the train station but we had tickets for the christmas show on the pier on the Friday evening and tickets for the Wolves V Norwich match on the Saturday so it was very handy for us for both occasions. The van is absolutely beautiful and clean with a big comfy bed. We didnt actually meet Amanda but we met her friendly husband. All the directions were spot on to find the van and the instructions for access and so were the instructions on how to switch on the fire and the tips for leaving the heaters on when we went out and overnight were also useful and it was a bit chilly

  • This is possibly one of the best Airbnb cottage I have come across the standard has set an new bench mark. It is ready to live in and is spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly want . Sarah and Michael have made this a special place to stay and the attention to detail is seen everywhere . If you want to stay local to Cromer or Sheringham its perfect a little off the beaten track but that is its charm . I cannot fault the place if it was closer would be a regular . We used it as a base to visit the North Norfolk Railway approx 6miles away . Once again lovely cottage well worth the money and a visit. Darren Fare ( Near Bristol UK )

  • This was a spacious, tastefully decorated apartment. Only 15 mins walk from Cromer and very quiet in the evening. There was plenty of parking, a Spar nearby and shops, pubs and restaurants in Cromer. I would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending as a place to stag

  • I created the rating with the Google Translator because my English is not very good. This very nice apartment in Cromer we really liked. Everything was very clean and well maintained and is exactly as described. The hostess Anette was very nice and we would come back anytime. The apartment is spacious and includes everything you need for a relaxing holiday. From the soup spoon to the washing machine, hair dryer or bluetooth, television, vacuum cleaner, everything is just there. We really enjoyed our holiday in Cromer. Thanks Anette. • Sue's place is a real home from home for us, as this was our 3rd visit. Great communication from Sue, as always, and we really enjoyed our stay. Cromer has lots on offer, shops, cafes, the beach and pier, our 6 year old just loved it

  • The apartment was ideal for me as I’m disabled. As it was completely flat throughout. A lovely apartment with all amenities including comfortable king size bed , 2 chairs and side table to relax before going out. We were able to park right next to it. The location is excellent. Within 5 mins walk to town , shops and cafes and the beach

  • We had a lovley 4 night stay with Susan, in her ground floor apartment, clean, comfortable and great location near to beach, pier and town centre. Helpfull host, highly recommend.

  • Susan is a an excellent host, very warm and helpful. She was very flexible with the check-in process and easy to communicate with. The location is really good with the beach and Pier a stones throw away. The room was cozy and clean, although there was some traffic noise till about 11 pm as we had left our windows open. Susan had also provided us with breakfast, all in all a great place to stay with value for money.

    Varun2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • It was really lovely staying at Susan’s house; Susan is a wonderful, friendly host and her home is situated perfectly for exploring Cromer. We only wish we had had more time there! Highly recommend.

    Katherine2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, clean and spacious room and an amazing host. Susan made sure everything I needed was there, from breakfast to extra duvets in case it was cold in the room. Her hospitality and the vibe of the house made me feel comfortable right away. It's a nice neighbourhood. Quiet, yet close to the beach and the shops. Better than some of the hotels I've been on my trip. I'd definitely go back here next time I'm in Cromer.

It is a bit further from the middle of Cromer than we thought but only a 20 min walk or £3.60 taxi so was really not a problem. The apartment is very modern and pleasant, it even smells lovely.

  • The Upper Bakery was dressed for Christmas this time and was again a delight to stay in. It offers a stylish and bright retreat to the seaside and Annette’s thoughtful touches make it even more enjoyable. She answered my queries promptly and keeps the flat sparkling clean. No doubt I will make another visit in the New Year. Wonderful.

Scandinavian-style wooden cabin on a quiet chalet park where children and dogs are welcome; situated within easy walking distance of sandy beach, friendly village centre and golf course. Parking space next to the chalet. Sorry, maximum number of adults is 3 - plus 2 children: and infants under 2 years of age still count as a person! If in doubt, or a special request, please contact me.
  • Lovely little cabin, with everything you need to enjoy a weekend at the sea. Everything was clean and tidy and portable heaters kept us nice and toasty in early October (remember to take £1 coins for the meter) The location is great, beach is 5-10 minutes away, Mundesley centre is pretty and includes a few shops, pubs, takeaways and a little museum. Easy route to Cromer. The whole area is very dog friendly and our pup was very happy at the cabin. Thank you, Brigette. We had everything we needed and all the communication from begining to end was friendly and helpful.

    Karen2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable chalet, with all the amenities you need. Brigette is an excellent host - friendly, helpful and quick to respond to messages. Highly recommended..!

    Matthew2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little chalet in a great location. We stayed for two nights for a mini anniversary break. The host Brigette was very helpful and the communication prompt! We arrived late and check in was still very simple. The chalet is lovely, clean and well set out. There was only me, my wife and our Cockapoo so space was not an issue, but there would be ample for a family of 4 not a problem. The chalet park is walking distance from the sea front and town and there is a golf course very close as well. Added bonus of a Tesco express literally a stones throw away for any food or drink.! Great value for money and would recommend for a cheap and cheerful get away! Thank you Brigette !

    Leo2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Brigette is a lovely, thoughtful host & her cabin is charming & cosy. It is in a holiday park of chalets but it is a little apart and definitely the cutest! A very well organised space perfect for a family or 3-4 friends - it has 3 small bedrooms, 1 double, 1 single, & one double in an attic space up a ladder which would be really fun for kids of about 8 upwards, & there's also a sofa bed - it's pretty amazing how much is neatly fitted into this cabin! The weather was pretty wet & windy while we were there but it was fun just being in the cabin, playing board games and eating well. Don't forget to bring bed linen & towels, Brigette has provided it with everything else, including thoughtful things like hot water bottles. There's a Tesco Express maybe 2 minutes walk away if you've forgotten anything, & it's just a few minutes walk to the sea, too.

    Maya2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Chimes cabin at Mundersley village was a great place to stay for our short break. Only two of us went plus our dog. It is in a fantastic location, 2 minutes to the Tesco express and 5 minutes to the beach ,although down some steep steps- which could be avoided fury down the beach. The cabin is very basic, but well equipped with everything you need to cook and be comfortable. The site was very quiet although we did go at the end of September, but perfect for a relaxing chilled break. Bridgette the host was very helpful and met us on arrival to explain everything and said goodbye on departure. All in all we really enjoyed our time at Chimes.

    Jason2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely base for exploring a beautiful area

    Louisa2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Brigette's Chalet. We are a family of 5 and there was ample space for us all. There is lots of outside space too! Brigette was a wonderfully accommodating host. Communication was faultless, with lots of helpful information before and on arrival. On arrival we were met with a welcoming smile and after showing us around Brigette left us to enjoy our holiday knowing she was nearby if we needed anything. The chalet is a really charming space with everything we needed to self cater, the kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the whole chalet was very clean and well presented. Brigette even kindly brought some games over for the children. There is a Tesco express just 2mins away, and the beach is a short 10min walk. The chalet is easy to find using the post code and Brigette will help with directions to. The electric meter takes £1 coins, but is very economic! Don't be put off by the shortage of reviews, Brigette is an experienced host, just new to Air BnB. We can't wait to visit again!

  • I don't have anything negative to say at all about our stay at Jane's caravan. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy as are the sofa's. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and was so great having milk, tea and coffee left ready for our arrival. Such a huge bonus having a shower, separate bath, 2 loo's and parking right next to the caravan. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks very much Jane

  • Just returned from a fabulous week’s stay at Janes caravan. Perfect location, short walk to a beautiful beach, good sized outdoor swimming pool and not far from Cromer, Sheringham, Holt and Norfolk Broads. We were lucky enough to be holidaying in the recent heatwave so we thoroughly appreciated & enjoyed the pool & beach. The caravan is wonderfully clean, has everything you need for your holiday, including a very comfy sofa. Jane is a great host, excellent communication, easy to follow instructions for obtaining the key and park gate pass. We really loved our stay, wished it could have been for longer. Hopefully we’ll be back again to explore more of beautiful Norfolk.

    Sara2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • A great find such a lovely place to stay. The caravan is clean well kept and was very well maintained, spacious for a family to enjoy. Jane our host was superb throughout our stay such a nice lady who was great with communication and letting us know what we needed prior and during our stay. The caravan has sea views and a nice little balcony to sit and enjoy the view. The beach was nice and quiet and is easily accessible via a short walk. Onsite there is an outdoor pool and clubhouse which were great as well. All in all a superb place to spend your time by the beach, highly recommend.

    Duncan2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to stay with stunning views. Perfect for a little getaway. You can walk about 15 minutes to the beach or a 2 minute drive so it’s amazing! Had a lovely time and would definitely come again.

  • This place is a gem. Lovely home from home feeling, lovely and quiet (we went end of June) near the beach or an outdoor pool two minutes walk away. You will need a car to go exploring along the coast to sheringham, Cromer and Mundesley but such beautiful scenery. You’d be silly not to book this place!

  • We had a great time during our few days away, home from home and so close to a beautiful beach. Thank you Jane for making our first stay in Norfolk a memorable one. Lovely and clean, comfortable beds, milk in the fridge and lots of small homely and thoughtful touches. Once again, thank you.

Hello! The flat at Conway House is located in the wonderful village of Overstrand, just 1.5 miles east of Cromer: a ten minute walk to the beach. We are renting out an ensuite room, in a self-contained flat, on the first floor of the house. We will provide a breakfast of toast, cereals, fruit, and yoghurt, as well as tea, coffee, and nibbles. The bathroom has recently been refitted with a new shower.
The flat is on the first floor. There is one flight of stairs to negotiate. You are renting the ensuite but you can use the whole flat. It's a work in progress. The room is warm and cosy, as is the welcome. We look forward to seeing you soon. The kitchen is not finished but there is a fridge, toaster, and kettle.
Overstrand is the hidden gem of the North Norfolk coast. The White Horse does great food. The Sea Marge is a beautiful hotel and bar. There is a cafe on the clifftop and a small shop. Ask us for more info. Cromer is 1.5 miles. Walk along the cliffs or beach and reward yourself with some very fine fish and chips.
  • A comfortable bed awaits along with snacks and a longe to relax in. Only a brief stay but there were no problems and we would recommend the place to others. Nice and quiet at night.

  • Fantastic place, super comfortable bed and sparkling clean. lovely little lounge area with tv and sofa, and the breakfast goodies. Paul & Deb's were wonderful hosts and responded to messages very quickly. We loved the accommodation and the provision of breakfast items and biscuits was a very thoughtful and welcome touch. Perfect location for exploring the North Norfolk area and lots of local tips and help provided by the hosts. Really nice meal at the Sea Marches hotel and a fantastic ride on the special lighted Sheringham to Holt train on Saturday night. And the bonus of two lovely little dogs who my partner was trying to steal all weekend! Can't recommend it enough.

  • The communication from Paul and Debs from our first enquiry to the end of our stay was brilliant. They are so friendly, and brilliantly helpful with local hints and tips. Overstrand is a beautiful coastal village and I'd definitely stay again. The beach is great. The Sea Marge is brilliant for good food and a chill.

  • We loved staying here and found the whole place to be really comfortable and relaxing. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, everything has been thought of. Stuart was a great host, quick to respond and very hospitable. The only thing that was a very minor shame was the fact that the kitchen windows didn't open (or at least we couldn't get them to open) to let some air in after cooking but that's all. Really recommend this place and will definitely be coming back in Spring.

Dragonfly Barn is located just outside the seaside village of Mundesley. It is surrounded by farmland, and is just over a mile from the sandy beach at Mundesley. The village has a variety of shops, cafes, a hotel and a pub. Mundesley is a great location for exploring Norwich and the Broads to the south, and the seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham to the west. For anyone interested in wildlife deer and hares can often be seen in the fields opposite the barn.
The barn is a single storey building with an open plan lounge/diner and kitchen. The bedroom is separate with a double bed, and ensuite shower room.
We think Mundesley is quite a magical place. It is quiet, and very welcoming to visitors and locals alike. The beach is long and sandy with plenty of room for dogs and people.
  • Great little cottage, love being in the country yet so close to the beautiful beaches. Safe dog garden and of course the fantastic log burner. Definitely visit again.

  • My husband and I had a wonderful week long stay in the chalet. It was sparklingly clean, and everything had been thought about - so there was lots of really useful storage and plenty of added bonuses like sachets of ketchup / mayonnaise etc, cleaning products, milk in the fridge when we arrived etc. It was a wonderful space and we really enjoyed staying there.

    Laura2019-10-31T00:00:00Z

  • A gorgeous, cosy and clean little nest for enjoying quiet countryside and beach life. Ann and Graham are delightful hosts, they are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The chalet is spotless as well as being equipped for cooking up a storm and snuggling down to watch movies on the TV with lots of blankets if the weather takes a turn in the colder direction. Everyone we met whom was staying on the Park was super friendly. Dogs are very welcome, mine had a whale of a time. We can't wait to come again next year.

Our cottage is a light-filled modern house built in 2006 down a country lane, views over open fields. 2 miles to the coast. Three double bedrooms. Garden. Cosy in winter. Stately homes and bird sanctuaries nearby. Only available weekly Sat-Sat.
  • Lovely, warm, well-equipped cottage in a great location. Easy walk across the fields to Cromer in one direction or to Felbrigg Hall in the other on the Weaver’s Way (or a 6.5 circular which was great.) Quiet, dark with wonderful night skies and lovely views. We’ll be back!

    Helen2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect house for a family of four. Lots of space, very quiet; a lovely space for everyone to be in.

    Martin2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best things about this lovely cottage is it’s amazing location. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere you can actually walk from the door to loads of great locations - Felbrigg hall and the walks around its lovely estate, Cromer beach and the Amazona zoo. Or it’s a short drive to Sheringham, happisburgh and the stunning blakely nature reserve. We weren’t short of things to do but the house itself also provided a relaxing spot to hang out in with a lovely private garden and rooms that were almost all window. I can’t really emphasise the loveliness of the windows enough - by day it felt like you were actually in the expansive wheat field from the comfort of your bed and by night, with the curtains down, the effect was like being in a luxurious tent, without any of the downsides of actually being in a tent. Eileen was a great host, good about communicating, and the house was full of lovely things that made it feel like you were in a real home rather than a holiday cottage. There were also lots of nice touches that helPed keep the kids entertained - board games, a rope swing, buckets and spades etc. Finally, the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials you always forget and, as an added bonus, there was an amazing collection of books if you’re into that sort of thing. I’d love to go back someday!

  • This was our second stay at Hobby Cottage. We had another fabulous week. The cottage has everything we needed for the adults and our two year old granddaughter. It is in a beautiful secluded location but only 10 minutes away from supermarkets etc. It is ideally placed for all of North Norfolks coastal and inland attractions. Eileen is a wonderful hoast, helpful and quick to respond. We are already thinking about our next stay.

    Alan2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely modern property in a tranquil location. A great base for country walks and easy access to the coastal towns.

    Stephen2019-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Hobby Cottage. Like a lot of other reviewers, we found that the cottage was even better than described. If you are a keen walker, then the location will be perfect as it is on a well marked walking route which takes you to the coastal path or in land. The house is extremely well equipped and offers great views over the quiet fields surrounding it. Very highly recommended!

  • Hobby cottage is the perfect family holiday home. We all felt at home within minutes. The location is great, close enough to Clover to enjoy the sea side but set in the countryside with amazing views from the bedrooms and lounge. The bay windows makes you feel like being outside all the time!

A stylish studio apartment in a lovely sunny courtyard. We live in a beautiful part of North Norfolk and our home is a converted barn which was originally built in the nineteenth century. The Old Studio which is self contained with it's own entrance, is situated at the back of the house just across the courtyard. The Studio offers spacious, open-plan accommodation, with a kitchen and seating area, a good sized double bedroom together with a separate shower, toilet and washbasin.
The Property is in a area of outstanding natural beauty and is ideally located for exploring both the beautiful North Norfolk Coast and the wonderful Norfolk Broads. Locally, the quiet unspoilt beaches of Overstrand and Sidestrand are a fifteen minute walk away, Overstrand is a lovely quiet seaside village which has the White Horse Pub, the Seamarge Hotel and The Clifftop Cafe, and of course Cromer, with its Carnival, shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema and theatre is less than a 10 minute drive away.
The North Norfolk village of Sidestrand is situated about three miles east of Cromer. The area was immortalised as Poppy Land, at the end of the 19th century by the author and drama critic Clement Scott following his visit to Overstrand in 1883. The area became immensely fashionable with summer visitors and Scott's poem, The Garden of Sleep, describes the original church at Sidestrand. As well as Cromer, there are also beaches nearby both at Overstrand and Sidestrand.
  • The stay for two nights was amazing. A really nice location ideal for walking into the local village or a bit further along the coast to Cromer. We would definitely stay again.

  • Cathy was a wonderful host, providing lots of thoughtful touches such as fresh croissants in the morning. The property is immaculate and offers a lovely relaxing escape. It’s a great base to explore the beautiful surrounding area.

  • Amazing accommodation, spotlessly clean, fantastic host, Cathy has thought of everything. A great place to stay, great location. We had a fabulous few days and will definitely be returning.

  • A lovely cosy retreat in a peaceful setting. The barn was immaculate and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Breakfast was a lovely surprise - freshly baked croissants and fruit delivered to our door each morning. Our hosts were the best - so friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and couldn’t recommend this place enough.

    Vera2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a fabulous find! Cathy and Geoff were super welcoming, the check-in process was the best I’ve experienced. Cathy was there to show us around and explain everything in The Old Studio so we knew where everything was and how to use everything. The location was great, so peaceful with a stunning view at the bottom of the drive and only a 20 minute cliff top coastal walk to Outstrand and a little further to Cromer. The accommodation itself was just the right size for two people, very clean and super stylish. Cathy has such great attention to detail and somehow makes you feel so welcome and like you’ve been life long friends. Thank you for such a nice break. Hope to visit again!

    Natalie2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location for coastal walks with unspoiled views of the sea and visiting North Norfolk in general. Cathy (and hubby) are the perfect hosts and the property was spotless. Special mention to the breakfast and hot croissants, and upon arrival a loaf of fresh bread which was divine! Thank you once again for making us feel welcome

    Mark2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • A real gem of a place, in a great location, some fabulous walks handy for Cromer (which is walkable) and only half an hours drive into the centre of Norwich. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, you couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommended.

    Stan2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was the first Airbnb that we had booked so was a little unsure of what to expect. The Old Studio was over and beyond anything that we could have wanted. Cathy and Geoff were so welcoming and really made us feel at home. We loved the little touches especially the hot croissants. We will definitely back and would love to stay for longer.

The garden room is entirely self-contained and is just a few metres from the car parking area alongside our house. It looks out onto a large grassed area with fields beyond. It has an ensuite shower room and toilet (no bath). There’s no TV or cooker.
We are near 'Northrepps International' ( a lovely small grass airfield), just a couple of miles from the beach and within a good walking distance of a great pub in Southrepps and the legendary Gunton Arms a little further away.
The property adjoins a working arable farm and there are a few neighbours along the road. It's rural with plenty of footpaths and bridlepaths.
  • Clean, cute, thoughtful and charming. The perfect little getaway

  • To say that this was the best experience we've had with Air Bnb is an understatement. As a super-last-minute getaway we weren't sure we could get anything in the area and this cute little space was almost too good to be true! Communications and confirmations all done and dusted quickly and directions from Air bnb super accurate. Checking in was a breeze and the immediate area is lovely and quiet save for an occasional distant train or tractor (and plenty of owls if you're walking the dog at night!). Exploring the local area was made easier with some helpful tips from our hosts, there is an excellent fish and chip shop not five minutes down the road and an evening meal at the local Vernon Arms is a must. At 20 minutes walking distance it's well worth leaving the car and strolling back along the country roads admiring the stars. We return to the city glad of our experience and very grateful for our hosts superb hospitality.

Cromer beach is award winning and one of the finest in England. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and coffee houses, our personal favourites being North Lodge cafe and the nationally acclaimed No1 Fish and Chip restaurant.
  • This is a wonderful place. There is so much space, it’s beautifully, stylishly but simply furnished with a Cromer / seaside theme. There are so many lovely touches like a stick of Cromer rock on every pillow. The beds are really comfortable with excellent mattresses. It’s really well located for the beach and also has parking which is especially useful. Can’t recommend it enough.

  • We had a lovely time in Teehan's place in Cromer. The studio and bedrooms are well appointed with every possible amenity. The place is spotlessly clean with many welcoming touches. Teehan responded very quickly and kept in touch with us. Access was straightforward. We had delightful walks to Overstrand and along the beach to Sheringham. We needed a peaceful break with walks and this was beyond our expectations. Highly recommended.
