We really enjoyed our time at Ruby's place. The suite was very nice and clean and there were some cake and fruits. We recommend this place!

Ruby's place is brand new and very clean. It's a separate basement unit so you have your privacy and also a private washroom. There is a huge backyard with lots of green which we really enjoyed. Ruby was very accommodating and made us feel comfortable during our stay and we hope to stay at her place again when we are visiting Muskoka region! Thanks :)

Wir haben uns bei Ruby und ihrer Familie sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie waren sehr nett und kommunikativ. Das Zimmer mit separatem Bad befindet sich im Untergeschoss des Hauses, so das man sozusagen sein eigenes Reich hat. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, hochwertig eingerichtet und im Grünen gelegen. Das Bett war ist superbequem und zum Frühstück fanden wir leckere Muffins und Früchte vor.

Lee and Joe were amazing hosts. They were very friendly and greeted us at the cottage to give us the tour and were around if needed. The cottage was perfect, even nicer than the photos and the location on the lake was beautiful. We will definitely be staying at the cottage again!

Lee's cottage is comfortable, well-equipped and very conveniently located! We had a wonderful time using the paddle boats and fire pit in the back as well as taking advantage of the short drive to Midland and the neighbouring towns. Would definitely visit here again.

Lee's cottage is cozy and clean and exactly as advertised. The bedrooms are small, but the beds are clean and comfortable. Every room has its own source of heat, in addition to the central furnace. The living room is spacious (and the fireplace so nice on a wet, rainy spring weekend), the kitchen is very well equipped and there's plenty to see and do nearby. The setting is gorgeous, on a lovely lake with an outdoor fire pit, some comfy chairs, a shared dock and a couple of paddle boats. It's not suitable for someone looking for something secluded as it's on a busy road and lots of neighbours, but it suited us just fine. Great location - a short trip to Midland, Wasaga and Barrie - and a great value. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful and cozy place. Very neat and tidy. Every room had its own heating unit! Close to the highway and Mount St. Louis Moonstone, which is a great place for winter fun. The hosts, Joe and Lee were more than accommodating. They were friendly, courteous, replied to our every question instantly, and most of all very welcoming. Joe even went out of his way to help us get in the cottage when we locked ourselves out! He drove more than 30 minutes to get to us. We were extremely thankful and believe they have provided the utmost service a host can provide, in all of our airb&b experiences! The frozen lake in the backyard was a plus as well. We highly recommend it even if you are travelling with or without family. You will love your stay like we did!

Great location for pop in and out weekend. We enjoyed for what we went for but be advised cottage is right in road and has no privacy so if you're looking to quiet, seclusion this would not be a great choice. Owners own cottage next door so a good choice for larger groups or families. Owners have done some recent updates.

This place was just great! The hosts Lee and Joe are wonderful people and we very much enjoyed to stay at their cottage. It is a great place for a small family or a few friends. The access to the lake serves for an amazing scenic setting. The place is very clean and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a convenience store across the street which is open form 7 am to 9 pm. There are also grocery stores and LCBOs a short drive away. There are a lot of things to do in the region. Midland is only a short drive away and has several seasonal attractions and some nice restaurant options. Wasaga Beach is about 30 minutes away and great for a day trip. We are looking forward to staying at this great place again in the near future!

Amazing place! Donna is a lovely person. We also had a fun time with her pets. They are very friendly and great to play with. We couldn't expect any more than what we got. Beautiful house, comfy bed and extremely close to Mount St. Louis where we had a tremendous time skiing. 100% recommendation!!!

This is a place that I would very highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in this area! My wife and I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Donna's place. Donna is a fantastic host, very friendly and nice. She went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We felt very much at home. The place is very clean and in a quiet and nice neighbourhood. A comfy bed, clean bathroom, shared kitchen and a complimentary breakfast simply makes this a great value. And of course there is Harley who is absolutely adorable :-) We spent a couple of days in the area skiing and snowshoeing and this is perfectly located to all the trails and ski resorts around. Hosts such as Donna make for great AirBnB experiences. We would definitely go back to Donna's place when we are in the area. Pramod

Amazing experience! Nice and cozy house with a lovely bedroom upstairs. I had such a good sleep. All brand new, I really liked bed sheets and towels and bath tubs. You can enjoy nice and simple breakfast at small kitchen next to your room too. Isabel is an amazing host! We were welcomed as dearest guests in her house. Want to come back!

Lovely home, lovely family. We had a small bedroom attached to a kitchenette with coffee/tea, cereal, and standard appliances (even a weighing scale). Great for fixing a quick breakfast. The place was clean and easy to find.

This cottage was perfect for our family. It was very clean and its proximity to the GTA made it ideal for our two day stay. The cottage had all the amenities you will need and the water is shallow and sandy which was great for swimming.

Sandra's place was wonderful. We had an excellent time. The views were stunning and other worldly. Pictures dont do justice to how wonderful and comfortable this place is. The place had everything we needed. It was very clean. It has been done with great taste. The beds were very comfy, couch was comfy, dining table was nice, kitchen was very nice. Also the kayaks were a lot of fun and a nice addition. The sunsets are gorgeous. In the evenings we got the fire going and watched the sunset. Sandra is an an amazing host. She had excellent communication even late at night. We had forgotten to bring mosquito repellant and to our surprise she had even thought of that and had provided some. The place is a short drive (20 min) from Wasaga, so we made daily trips to the beach. Overall five stars. We left very relaxed. We will be back.

Myself and three other friends had the pleasure of staying in Sandra's cozy cottage on beautiful Orr Lake over the July long weekend. Sandra was very accommodating with our early check-in, as we were flying from Vancouver and arriving earlier in the day. The cottage was exactly how a cottage should be; cozy, comfortable and clean. All the necessities were provided including glasses chilling in the freezer for our arrival. We spent the better part of the weekend lounging in the Muskoka chairs on the dock, and enjoying the water. The fireworks for Canada Day were spectacular over the water. Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. Overall, our weekend was everything we hoped it would be.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage which was easily accessible from Toronto. The deck was nice with a beautiful lake front. Just be mindful of the size of the rooms; was a little tight for 5 people. Sandra was a good host and responded to our questions promptly. Overall we had a good experience.

Lee was a great host, helped us check in and gave us our privacy throughout the trip while being available to help if need be. Cozy and relaxing stay.

Lee is a wonderful host! This cottage is an absolute steal for what you get! We got more than we were expecting with the beautiful unobstructed waterfront view, very clean cottage which is much more spacious than the photos let on, and Lee being only a text away answering any and all questions very promptly. We will definitely be back in the summer with family as Lee also owns the cottage next door! Our only suggest for future guests is if you aren't used to rural tap water, bring a Brita or bottled water, and if you like going for walks be prepared to drive down the road to trails as the cottage doesn't have walking space (front is on a hwy and back is directly on the water).

The cottage is a few minutes off the highway and is close to Horseshoe and moonstone for skiing. There's plenty of space and it's very clean. The building is older and has its quirks but very comfortable overall. Our group enjoyed the outdoor space as much as the inside. Lee was easy to contact and responsive to any concerns.

Great cottage, spacious, lots of room for 6. View is spectacular, will definitely recommend. One downside is the limited water supply, but we made it work.

Stayed here over the May 24 weekend. Beautiful clean cottage right on Orr Lake. Nice and private and in a lovely area! Had a great time by the bonfire and reconnecting with friends. All of the amenities provided were all brand new; Fridge, stove, gas Bbq, canoe, trampoline, video games, fire pit, washer and dryer, extra blankets, pillows, utensils. It was absolutely wonderful. The place was extremely clean and very nice! All of the bedrooms and showers were brand new and comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything needed and more! The owner is extremely friendly and provided us with anything we needed, also very easy to communicate with and accommodating to our party. Our group had a wonderful stay and i will definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a cottage facing the beautiful water.

This house was great. Amazing lake right off the back yard. The house was very comfortable and clean had a very well stocked kitchen, 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 full baths and 2 half bathrooms. There's a great living space with lots of games, outdoor activities (canoe/kayak) and toys for kids. We enjoyed the patio space and used the BBQ and fire pit. Great interaction with the host when needed. The only thing we overlooked on the listing was that there is no wifi and no AC (there are ceiling fans in every bedroom though) so if that is a must keep that in mind. Cell phone/data service was not an issue.

We had such a great time at Michael's place. It was easy to get to, Michael was extremely responsive and the place is gorgeous. The walk in, sand bottom, calm and quiet lake was absolutely beautiful (and the water was warm!). The back patio was perfect for early morning coffee with a book, and the dock gets sun all day long. Thanks again for a great stay.

Michael was a phenomenal host. We arrived a little late in the afternoon and did not get to meet Michael during check in. The house was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed from towels, dishes and cutlery, to game stations and board games. Everything to keep us entertained and spend quality time with friends and family. The design of the cottage was very modern and open concept. Lots of big windows to enjoy the beautiful lake view. We learned that Michael actually built the cottage with his dad over 14 months. Wow. The location itself was beautiful, walkout to Orr Lake, with a fire pit right beside the lake for great bon fires and roasted marshmallows at night. Great trip!

Our group of 9 stayed at the cottage two nights over the passed weekend. Loved everything, literally we have nothing to complain about. The house is newly renovated, clean, spacious, beautifully decorated. Three bedrooms plus den with the door and a pull-out couch, make enough private space for four couples. Extra ppl (in our case one) was sleeping on an air mattress in the living room. Two full bathrooms pls powder rooms on the first floor and in the basement. The house and the entire area around are in impeccable order. Linens, towels and extra blankets are provided as well as utensils, dishes, cups, glasses, pots and pans , all small appliances you might need. The house is right on the lake, and the view on the water from almost all the rooms is beautiful. The lake is shallow, but the bottom feels mushy, so water shoes might help. The are canoe and a kayak, fishing rods and many games for in and outdoors. Lots of movies too. Michael is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. Overall - amazing experience. Would love to visit the place again.

Donna had excellent communication right off the bat, even before our arrival. She is very welcoming and friendly, as are her pets! The space provided is wonderful, and it is easy to rest and relax as if you were home.

Donna deserves her Superhost title — from her excellent communication, to the beautiful home itself, our stay was perfect. We stayed in the lower bedroom, which was very clean, nice, and private. Although there was no Internet/wifi, it gave us the opportunity to disconnect and relax. Would definitely recommend staying at her home!

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Donna's house. Right from check-in until the time we left, Donna was absolutely lovely. The space was exactly as described, super clean and well equipped. The best part of staying there, though were the pets. Harley is the most adorable and excited doggie I've met in a while. We had a great stay at the Papa Bear cottage. It is very cozy and clean. The cottage is in a small, friendly trailer park with a beach right across the road. There is a private fire pit outside with plenty of seats and a view to the lake across the street,. There is also a little playground for the kids right outside and a convenience store in walking distance. Our hosts were very friendly, and quick to respond when we needed anything. This is a great place to visit with a small family, it is dog-friendly, and we would definitely come back in the future.

This cozy little cottage on the lake was ideal for our family of four. We were driving through and reached out to Carol in morning, she responded right away. When we arrived she had thoughtfully brought toys and coloring books out for our girls after a long car ride. She had a great jungle gym for the kids to climb on and a sandy beach across the road. It was quiet and comfortable and we felt so welcomed. We wished that we had been able to stay for longer and will defining be back to visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at Orr lake. Our host was ready and willing to help us feel welcome and comfortable. I especially appreciated being able to bring our dog to enjoy the weekend with us. My only problem was the noise from the highway which took away from the serenity of the natural environment. Otherwise very good.

Great for families with kids. Playground and shallow beach with water toys made our stay enjoyable and fun. We had everything we needed ! Fully equipt cabin. My family of 6 (plus a small dog) stayed at this cottage at the end of June and we absolutely loved it. The cottage has everything you need (you just need to bring your own bed sheets/firewood), and the owners did a great job organizing it and keeping it tidy. We felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in. The living room is very cozy with big windows overlooking the lake. There is a nice patio with bbq, and a place to set up a campfire right at the shore. The hosts even provided with a basket with marshmallows, chocolate and graham cookies for s'mores. The closet is full of board games for rainy days. A couple of nights were quite chilly- but no worries, there is a small heater for guests to use! There are also extra blankets/throws in the living room. The sunsets are just so gorgeous, we spent evenings around a campfire right next to the lake enjoying the views. Communication with the hosts went very smoothly, they are very nice and kind people. We all would like to thank them for welcoming us into their place and putting so much effort into making sure the guests feel like being at home.

A great weekend getaway! We went in May when the weather varied in temperature. The warm days were spent on the dock from sunrise to sunset, and the cool rainy days were spent inside with plenty of activities. Large enough that you didnt get tired of the other guests. Very clean, and all amenities included. Only advice is to include local tourist attraction information for rainy days

Sandra and her husband gritted us personally and showed around the property. Sandra was very helpful and prompt to respond, she is an amazing host! Cottage not big , but cosy and very clean. It has everything you might need during your stay and even more over. A lot of wildlife around, wild ducks and gees swimming around all day long. There are 2 kayaks and row boat, that provide many hours of fun activities. We didn't swim off the shore, while our kids enjoyed clear shallow water swim a little bit further on the left side of the property. Elmvale zoo highly recommended for younger kids, only 10 min drive. Thank you, Sandra, we enjoyed our stay with you so much!

Everything about our stay here was fantastic ! From the cleanliness of the cottage, to the location. The kitchen was well equipped and that the dinning area was perfect with nice big windows looking out to the lake! Sandra was an awesome host and was quick to reply with any questions we had! The cottage was spotless and had everything in it we needed ! The location was perfect as well.... situated on a quiet dead end street with grocery store and hiking trails about 15 mins from the cottage. We enjoyed using the kayaks and row boat, and even caught a few fishes from the calm lake. This place is a gem and it’s perfect for a relaxed get away. Thank you Sandra =)

Communication was great and the cottage and property provided us with a wonderfully relaxing weekend. We enjoyed some paddle boating on the lake during the day and board games on the deck at night. It is a true cottage so bring a few fans if a heat wave is happening.

Sandra was an excellent host with prompt and accurate responses to all questions/inquiries! The property is exactly as described. I went with a group of 8 - which was a bit of a squish. As noted in the description, there is no air conditioning and the windows are fairly small (i.e. limited breeze in the cottage itself) so it got pretty hot esp at night when we were all inside. We went swimming once in the middle of the lake with the kayaks and row boat (as the shoreline of the property is not swimmable - muddy), which was fun and refreshing! The property was great for activities for our group of young adults - with a volleyball net and ball, horse shoes set, soccer ball and large field area to play, crocket set, and badminton set. We enjoyed the firepit and there was plenty of firewood provided. Overall, we had a fun and memorable weekend!

Me and couple of my friends went to cottage for the first time. It was the best experience we had. Sandra had every facilities we needed to have for our stay. She was very helpful, since it was our first cottage trip she answered every questions we had and even left a folder with activities we could do around the cottage. We had a nice week out of the hustle and bustle of the city. The beach is right across the street which was great for the kids. All in all we had a good time. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. Bring your clothes and the kids and have a fun time :)

Great little cottage. Within a short drive of everything worth visiting like wasaga beach and the zoo. Private beach is just across the street and the water is nice and warm. Cabin was perfect for me and my family and had everything you could need for a great vacation. Carol was very nice and even offered us firewood and movies for the kids if we wanted. Carol is amazing. Truly a one of a kind host. The cottage is so beautiful. The water did have some seaweed and was mucky but we can't control that. Other than that Carol was always around and helpful. Cottage was very clean and beds were also done! Will come back again.

We loved our stay at Carol's! We were in the area for a family wedding and this suited our needs perfectly. The hosts were wonderful and the cottage was right beside their home. They brought us firewood and checked in a number of times when we were outside to see if we needed anything. The location is close to a busy road but this didn't bother us. Me and my entire family stayed at Carols. It was the first time I took my kids to the cottage and they loved it. Lake Orr directly across from the cottage was beautiful water was clean we caught a frog saw huge fish slapshing very close to the shoreline. Carol as a host was the most helpful and honest person I ever met if we needed anything from firewood to bed sheets to information of the town of Elmvale she was always willing and able to help and same goes with her entire family. this place is on my favorite list and will keep coming back thats a promise.

Donna and Larry are fantastic people. The home is very clean, Donna does a great job of explaining everything you need to know about the area and she is a great cook! I would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Bluebird Meadows was a lovely, peaceful home away from home. Donna was was an amazing, helpful host, sharing route tips and information about nearby restaurants and farms. As well the breakfast was amazing!! I'd definitely recommend a stay here, we will probably be back too!

My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at Bluebird Meadows and had our best weekend of the summer! Donna and Larry were amazingly friendly hosts who gave us great tips on what day trips we could do in the area which we ended up doing and had a great time. They also made a breakfast that was to die for, and asked us ahead of time about any dietary restrictions that we may have. The Bluebird Meadows property and home were stunning; we woke up early to watch the birds feed and to see the fish swim in the pond, and to admire her garden. We ended up spending more time on the property than we thought we would. The Moonstone bedroom and the dining/living space were also very comfortable and quiet, we felt relaxed the whole time we were there. The hot tub also helped a lot with that. I would highly recommend a stay with Donna and Larry at Bluebird Meadows, and plan on returning next summer to do a few more day trips in the area that they recommended. 10/10.
