“Herdsmen lake is a great place to go running and give a really beautiful view of Perth at sunrise. It also is home to a lot of Perth's wildlife birds however it is home to one of Australia's poisonous snakes - so it is something that I would be careful about walking in the peak of the day and walking through the grass. The walk around the lake is about 9.5 km and also takes you passed the only castle in Perth.”
